- Gina (4/5): We had fun at the snow. Finding there were no smoke alarms was a shock. We found it cold in the home at bed time. - It was near the lake The lower section of the house (self contained) had no fire alarms and yet it has a combustion fire. The cutlery draw was dirty with crumbs galore. A Mish mash of cooking items are to be found. Cheap and nasty (burning type) Least dirty pan in the cupboard had large slabs of Teflon missing- dangerous. Hint: More items is not always better. You will be cold if you stay here. Apparently the owners are too tight to allow heaters in the bedroom. It’s freezing. And please know you will have your living room heaters switch off of at 2 hourly intervals. For $6,500 for 2 days, a decent size smart tv on the ground floor unit would be a reasonable expectation. Cushions are filthy and falling apart which leaves dust everywhere. Share broke while a 7 year old was on it. Table and bench seats do not fit well on the rug and make it dangerous. The bench seat fell over while someone was on it. Quite a number of the curtains / blinds won’t open so you can’t see the view from the bedrooms. Essentially. These owners care nothing for the experiencer and only about themselves.
- Jess (8/5): Very good - Beautiful location. Was clean, accessing keys was quick and easy. Had washing machine and dryer so it was great not going home with dirty washing. All 8 people had a wonderful stay. The fridge shorted out, the stove top - the biggest element doesn’t work one of the back elements half works took an hour an half to boil a pot of potatoes. Hot water system up stairs ran out of hot water within 5minutes. Driveway a bit tight due to big rocks.
