• Markéta (7/5): - The hotel reception is connected to a restaurant located directly on the beach, with a few sun loungers and chairs available for guests. The Ao Jak beach is beautiful and very peaceful. From there, you can easily walk a short distance to Klong Hin beach as well. The location is excellent and perfect for enjoying the coastline. The newer rooms are located about 300 meters back from the beach, so you need to walk a short distance to reach the shore. We were given different accommodation (a different pink-and-white villa) than what was shown in the photos. The bed itself was fine, but the mattress transfers the movement of the other person quite a lot. The rooms were not cleaned during our stay and the windows were very dirty. However, the worst part was the staff. The receptionist also works in the restaurant and was very unfriendly. It was actually the first time we experienced something like this in Thailand. There was clear unwillingness to help, dismissive looks, and we were often ignored. She only spoke Thai, which could normally be solved with a translator, but she was not willing to communicate this way. If you are looking for accommodation at this beach, you might as well choose the small bungalows a little further away, since you will likely be staying farther from the beach anyway and the walking distance is basically the same. Moreover, those other places have much kinder and more helpful staff.

• Ramona (6/5): - close to the beautiful beach. Unfortunately our bungalow was far away, next fo a scooter parking lot. Room was old and Dirty. Hasn't been cleaned in 5 days. Some of the other rooms looked nicer. Most of the personal was nice. Our welcome tho was quite unfriendly.
• Peter (5/5): Small resort, off the beaten path. - Located in the south of Koh Kood, the resort is located in a beautiful little bay, surrounded by coconut trees. We had three garden bungalows which are quite basic but do have a good size. We were always out exploring so really only slept in the rooms. The beds were comfy. The restaurant serves local food at a reasonable price but if you have a scooter there are much better lunch/dinner food options up the island. Communication with reception was not always easy, a little bit more knowledge of English and willingness to assist would be appreciated. The breakfasts were ok but extra charges for coffees (latte/cappuccino's) apply. We felt that this resort has seen better days... Wifi needs work. Mostly we used our own data as hotel connectivity was hit and miss. Motor scooters for rent were old and tired and badly need upgrading. Bald tyres, non existent shocks and brakes are unacceptable on a rental and made riding even more of an adventure and were the worst scooters we had during our month in Thailand. The property water frontage whilst beautiful was barely 30m wide with just enough beach furniture for guests but which were taken over on a daily basis by walk ins (not guests) squatting on the few sun loungers for the day. During our stay, the smoke from constant burning off of trees, rubbish and construction materials on both sides was very unpleasant at times...
• Laurie (7/5): Good - The resort is on a beautiful white sand beach that only has 3 resorts on it. A perfect place to relax! There was good snorkeling at either end of the beach. Lots of seating available on the beach and you could always find some shade. Neverland had a bar and restaurant which served good food and down the beach,Rimlays was another very good option. Our favorite was the local family run Thai restaurant about a 5 min walk.. Walk In Homestay, they lso had a little mini mart. The staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful. If you wanted to explore beyond this beach you would need to rent a scooter, which they had at the resort. You could also rent paddle boards and snorkel gear. The rooms were a good size but we wish the beds were more comfortable. We would have appreciated more frequent house keeping. If only to take out the garbage and bring fresh towels every day. They did leave 2 bottles of water and a roll of toilet paper outside of your room.

• Simona (7/5): Good - The bungalow was located in a quiet place, close to a peaceful beach. We had the bungalow cleaned and the towels changed every day. The door of the main balcony was rusty. We couldn't close it properly. The bed was a little bit hard. However, we were given an extra bolt for the door and a topper for the bed. We appreciate it.

• Maria (8/5): Stenhårda sängar! - En gammal klassisk bungalow! Dusch utan tak, springor under dörren som var svår att öppna och stänga, så det blev en hög smäll varje gång. Stenhårda sängar! Kanske fortfarande charmigt? Frukosten enkel med de förbaskade vita, fyrkantiga rostbröden som de tror att vi tycker om. Fin strand och en bar nere vid stranden. De förstod dålig engelska.
