Spacious lounge area and bar on ground floor where you can meet, work, relax These are minor issues but … No desk or waste bin in the room. Both pump dispensers in the bathroom were clogged and didn’t work. £15 for continental breakfast seems excessive.

- Gijs en Branka (8/5): Prima hotel voor een nachtje - Groot centraal gelegen hotel. De staf is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Je kan je bagage opslaan zodat je de stad in kan voordat je je kamer in kan. Er waren straat werkzaamheden met continue lawaai. Daar kan het hotel uiteraard niets aan doen.

- William (5/5): Mediocre - No iron or ironing board, no bin, decor is in need of a refresh. Information regarding the road race that was happening on the Sunday, roads were closed and we found it very difficult to navigate through Glasgow. This was not mentioned at time of booking or at check in

- Natalie (10/5): Will return again as the location and comfort provided is perfect for most stays. - The location is perfect for whatever the stay is for. Accessible to and from the majority of entertainment venues and extremely central to all food options. The staff were extremely welcoming and efficient. Unfortunately (and in no relation controllable by the hotel therefore i would not deduct any points but worth referencing.) under the bridges next to the hotel seemed advisable to avoid as the evening continued due to a variety of different situations happening throughout but that doesn't eliminate the feel of comfort and safety the hotel provides. The doors are locked in the evening, accessible by guests and a doorman keeps watch.

- Alex (10/5): - The room was comfortable with plenty of storage for clothes and luggage. Overall the quality of the bed and furniture is very good for the relatively low price of the rooms. The room and bathroom were clean, and despite the location near Glasgow Central, there was no noise to disturb sleep. The elevators are always a little cumbersome in Motel One hotels, and unless you are on the top floor, it is usually quicker to take the stairs.

- Robert (9/5): A comfortable one night stay at this property. - The property was close to Glasgow central station and very convenient for the shops cafes and buses there was a nice area inside the hotel near reception for relaxing, the room I stayed in was nice and quiet with a nice view over the city, the bed was very comfortable the shower was straight forward, I didn’t have any food or drinks at the hotel chose to eat out on my travels. There was nothing I didn’t like.

It’s very run down…not the trendy vibe the selling. Sadly the area (and the whole town) is shocking! Broken glass over all the pavements, drunks on street, it’s not a place I’d ever visit again

The hotel was really conveniently located for traveling by train as it is just next to the station. My room was very quiet, clean, and had everything I wanted. The hotel itself was modern and clean and the staff were great. I got a good price for the room at 60GBP and felt it was incredible value at that price. Would definitely stay here again!
