Guest Reviews
- William (9/5): - Spacious, well appointed and clean. Nothing
- Janice (8/5): Lovely, quiet, comfy - The cottage was roomy and well equipped.
Very quiet location, yes the dogs barked next door sometimes but they didn't disturb us much Better details how to get the heating to work.
We had heat the first day but the radiators didn't come on again. We don't like to fiddle with switches.
We were warm enough though and there are portable heaters
- Sukhvinder (8/5): A cosy cottage with beautiful surroundings. - The house had a nice modern open plan and a cosy wood fire, which was perfect for the evening. Comfortable beds and lovely views. The area around the house was beautiful and very peaceful. Both shower controls were very hard (stiff) to adjust to get to the right temperature.
WiFi was not working at all throughout our stay.
(An engineer was booked by the helpful management company, but not in time for our stay, we were offered a free night for our next stay)
We were asked to strip all used beds. I would expect this to be part of the cleaning service.
- Adam (10/5): - All was great All was good.
- Sarah (9/5): Perfect location , lovely interior, would definitely return &recommend. - Location was perfect for the Builth showground . Spotlessly clean , with nice quality linen .A teapot would be a handy addition. Next doors dog barking was a bit annoying.
The tv was a bit faffy with all the remotes which didn’t connect very easily.
- Julie (10/5): - The house is just gorgeous it has everything you need.
Very comfortable and the open plan is brilliant if you have a group getting together. The parking as we were on motorbikes the car park is gravel. No problem if your in a car.
- De_1 (9/5): Perfect secluded Hideaway Holiday - The whole cottage was lovely and spacious! Every room was clean and tidy. We loved having the window door open so coming in and out was easy when prepping the food for the BBQ.The dinner table was perfect and the house was cosy when playing card games. We loved that we were away from the village but close to a main road so getting to places were easy. Really recommend and definitely would come back again.
- Anne Patricia (10/5): - This is a great place for a family group and was reasonably well situated for our trip to the Elan Valley. There's lots of communal space for cooking, eating and relaxing together and also plenty of space for cars. The trampoline in the garden, the ginger cat and the 3 sheep all an extra bonus for the kids.

Good facilities
Private and enclosed garden for dogs Care needs to be taken on the exit onto the main road from the driveway (was very near a busy bend) Remember to use Mirror ( which could be bigger and more prominent )

- Adamski7891 (10/5): Nice property - Great communication from the owner. Lovely and quiet location. Milk in the fridge on arrival, along with a bottle of wine and cake. Lovely gesture. Loads of plates/dishes and glassware. Also plastic cups/plates for the little 1s. Was a great 2 night stay and communication from the owner to check everything was OK. Thanks again N/A
- Heather (8/5): Excellent base for families - We were 2 families with young children away for NYE. The house is just what we wanted with a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and Wi-Fi.
- Mark (10/5): Beautiful house, gorgeous part of the country. - The house is perfect, comfortable big rooms, plenty of space, fully equipped kitchen and in a beautiful part of the country.
Access was easy and the hosts communication was excellent both before and after.
We couldn't of asked for more and will recommend to anyone wishing to visit that part of Wales. Nothing at all, it was perfect for us.
- David (8/5): Excellent property in great location. - Beautiful property with excellent facilities and very modern furnishings. The location was lovely, nice and quiet down a lane but still close to good road links into the surrounding towns. Perfect for a family or two small families sharing.
- Stephen (9/5): Relaxing and recharging - Location is lovely
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (10/5): Hidden gem - Location was great us.
Small Town not far away that has shops takeaways and petrol station.
Property is stunning.
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional - Was perfect for a work in the Royal Welsh show
- Cutler (8/5): Very good - Lovely kitchen and living area. Good range of wine glasses. Gorgeous bedrooms. Loved the nespresso machine. Dishwasher tablets and food waste bags were provided, which was useful. The location was quiet and situated by a working farm I think. Some of the oven bits were dirty, and the kitchen could use a few more items (bigger mixing bowls etc). If you like a large cuppa I'd bring bigger mugs with you. The beds are a bit hard but that's personal preference.
- Rosie (9/5): We had a lovely stay and the property was conveniently located for the Hay Festival which we attended everyday during ou - The property was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. it is set well back from the road which makes it quiet and peaceful. The entrance/exit to the property was difficult initially but we got used to it.
- Paul (6/5): Pleasant - It is a beautiful cottage in a stunning location, beautiful rooms, exceptionally clean. Poor management, didnt receive address or access codes until the day of travel. No instructions on arrival, no dishwasher tablets, limited glassware and cutlery. Didnt know where logs for were kept. Cars block your exit from the property when at the church, you literally cannot leave the property whilst they're at church, hob doesnt get hot enough. We were deducted £15 from deposit for broken wine glasses, although we didnt use any. I dont usually write moaning reviews, but after failing to reply to my wife when she queried deduction and just taking it anyway I thought I would get my £15 worth,.as we do everywhere we stay , we left this property exactly as we found it, we cleaned every room, vacuumed and left 0 rubbish inside the property (I took photos). Not sure if it is unprofessional or unscrupulous ? Beautiful property, poor management
