Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit, auch in unangenehmen Situation, sowie bekamrn eir tolle Tipps Ristorante und Ausflugstipps. Auch seine Raumpflegerin hat sehr gute Arbeit geleistet. Uns ist nichts aufgefallen.

• Susan (9/5): Wonderful staff very helpful and a good place to stay a little bit out of the tourist area, but close to the historic ce - The staff were incredibly helpful. Everything was very clean and it was fun to learn about an Italian espresso maker, which made great coffee. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The room was a little small for one person, but it was very quiet and perfect for one night. At first, the elevator was a little intimidating, but it worked just fine once you knew how to do it. The room was a little small and I wish I had had a breakfast, but it all worked out perfectly.

• Geert Jan (8/5): - De gastheer was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.. Praatte goed Engels en had goede tips waar te eten, en wat te bekijken in Palermo. De bovenburen hadden veel lawaai. Maar na een telefoontje naar onze verhuurder was het snel weer rustig.

• Olga (9/5): - Отличное местоположение, пешочком минут 10 до вокзала, если поехать в Чефалу или другие городишки, центр и Кафедральный собор в пешей доступности, рядом много кафе! Аппартаменты новые с хорошим ремонтом, особенно ванная комната, находятся на 2 этаже жилого дома. Хозяин очень доброжелательный, нам помог заказать ночью такси до аэропорта! С балкона красивый вид. Немного шумно из за дороги, но окна герметичные! Есть холодильник, микроволновка и вся кухонная посуда и кофемашина с кофе!! Для центра и старых домов это отличный комфортный вариант!

Posizione : il top.... aprivi il portone di casa per uscire ed avevi davanti le fermate del bus a 10 mt..... Eri al centro di tutto...Vicinissimo alla via principale Vittorio Emanule...Cattedrale,,,Fontana Pretoria, ecc.... Vicinissimo alla Vucciria,famoso mercato ormai diventato punto di ritrovo della movida ( molto bello )....Stazione Centrale 10 minuti a piedi.... Insomma tutto a disposizione... Puliza : maniacale,camera pulitissima,bagno idem, la camera la facevano tutte le mattine, asciugamani ogni 2/3 giorni li cambiavano ( se poi uno aveva bisogno anche prima nessun problema ) A disposizione caffe,tisane, ecc.... Addirittura l'ultimo giorno,ci hanno fatto mettere le valigie in deposito,ritirandole prima di partire... Se uno deve andare a Palermo consiglio vivamente questa location... Assolutamente non troverei niente da ridire...

Host molto disponibile e cordiale Si trova in una ZTL quindi consiglio di cercare un parcheggio prima di arrivare in città. Noi abbiamo avuto difficoltà (essendo anche sabato sera)

The room was clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Guests also have access to a well-equipped kitchen, which was a great bonus. The French doors stopped most of the noise from the street. Shower was powerful and always had hot water. The use of a communal kitchen was handy. Luca was a very helpful and pleasant host. All of the rooms are off a communal area, which is available for all guests to use. Whilst this is a plus, it can also be a source of noise from the other guests if they are part of a group and decide to have a party at 1am. Thankfully, this happened only once during our 5 night stay.

• Charles (10/5): Going to Palermo - this is the room to stay - The old saying Location- Location - Location - the room was great, clean and comfortable, the location was in the middle of everything we went to Palermo Sicily to see. No matter what site or restaurant we visited we always seemed to be back at our room. Recommend this room. The owner Luca picked us up at the airport and gave us a short description of what to see and where to eat.

Luca was amazing and could not do enough for us - he was even willing to take me to the airport at 03h30 in the morning! Can definitely reccommend staying at the Mategna Rooms!

• Gary (10/5): An excellent experience! - This is a great place. It would be enough if it were clean and comfortable, given that it's in the heart of the city. And it definitely is that, with AC for the rooms, working amenities, and access to a kitchen and coffee. But there are a lot of extra details that are really nice, too. For example, the rooms have really high ceilings and access to balconies overlooking the streets below (at least mine did--I think the others do, too), and they're all named after Sicilian literary figures. The host, Luca, is also really friendly and helpful; he even personally drove me to the airport at 4:30 in the morning. Highly recommended! I have no complaints whatsoever.
