Bolt (7/5): Een prachtige locatie om paard te (leren) rijden - Mooie ligging. Het huisje staat vrij in het bos met een prachtig uitzicht op het kasteel. Personeel is vriendelijk. Paardrij instructeur is heel geduldig en kundig. Mijn dochter heeft een top ervaring gehad met een eerste keer paardrijden. Op het domein zijn veel paarden en naast ons huisje een stal. Door de mest en de hitte kwamen daar zwermen insecten op af en konden we niet buiten zitten. Het huisje is comfortabel alleen de eettafel erg wankel door de drie poten.

Kristin (9/5): Great location for exploring or relaxing on site. - Beautiful grounds and very friendly helpful staff. They helped us organise everything and the tour of the castle was a bonus. Pool is amazing. Serene location in the countryside perfect for exploring Pitigliano, Sorano, the lake etc. The restaurant noise went after 10.30pm with loud music and the rooms don’t much soundproofing so it was a bit loud. Beds could be comfier but not awful. Wouldn’t recommend dining in for vegetarians - was served meat and something frozen for the main (but otherwise still nice)
Tanya (8/5): Beautiful setting, kind friendly and welcoming hosts. - Location was beautiful, food was delicious, staff we friendly and helpful, hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcomed The accommodation was fine for us but was a little run down. A few fixtures and fittings were broken and it looked a little "tired" in places. For us this added to the charm but others may not feel the same.

Ruth (7/5): Book horse riding in advance to avoid disappointment! - Beautiful location, good for horse riding if you want trail rides/hacking and book in advance. Interesting tour of the castle and education on it's history from the owners. Co vertex farmhouse accommodation was comfortable and character filled. Disappointed to find horse rising was fully booked on our second day - book in advance foe this. Dinner was 40 Eurod per person which seemed expensive - set mwnu food was tasty but basic and limited fresh veggies so we found that quite expensive. Cycling options were not as expected - three bikes available to rent from the property or we needed to hire from a local town. I.pressive equestrian photos probably a bit old now - horses were well cared for and in good condition but facilities and jumps could use a tidy up.

Liz (10/5): Perfect relaxing and friendly stay - Fabulous stay, everything was as described, all the staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fab, continental as stated, with lots of options including cereal, mini croissants, choice of sliced or fresh bread, fruit , yoghurt, boiled eggs, cheese and meat, also choice of coffee and fruit juices. Not sure what other people think should be offered in addition, there was even amazing cake. 😊 Horse riding was lovely too. Gin was really good and always took time to make sure we knew what was happening and the type of trail and kept us safe. The horses were fast for experienced riders and impeccably behaved for those who are beginners. Lots of places to visit for day or half day visits. The owners are also very welcoming and have worked hard to make this place so good as do the staff. We will definitely want to come back. Nothing , we loved it!
