• Suzanne Marie (10/5): - My husband and I stayed at the Ianthe for a week. Communications before the arrival were quickly responded to, and the entire stay was fantastic from start to finish. On arrival Anna, the owner met us to show and give access to the carpark. We hired a car to explore the island and having the carpark nearby was just so convenient. A glass of wine, compliments of Anna (and we had more offered during the stay) was very welcome. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean with housekeeping and towel/bedding change regularly. We had a small kitchen with a fridge and a cooking ring (which we didn't use) and a daily stock of coffee pods (which we did use!). TV was modern and had apps you could use. Wifi always working. Each day we had a breakfast delivered at a time we chose, and it was always spot on time and perfect to set us up for the day. Often we had an extra dish as a treat cooked by Anna - delicious pasty, pastries or a pudding. Very generous breakfast that certainly set us up for the day. The location was fantastic for what we needed. Just a very short walk to the pedestrian area of Oia, views over the caldera from our window or the patio at the front or the balcony at the top of the hotel. We're not really pool/sunbathers but the pool area was perfect to relax by and read a book or chill with comfortable sunbeds and a couple of swinging seats. All in all a perfect stay and I would highly recommend staying at the Ianthe. A big thanks to Anna and all the staff.

Es sind nur ein paar Schritte bis in das wunderschöne Zentrum von Oia. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und ordentlich. Morgens bekommt man sein Frühstück auf die Terrasse gestellt. Die Poolanlage ist sehr gepflegt und das Wasser hatte bei heißem Wetter die perfekte Temperatur zur Abkühlung. Das gesamte Team kümmert sich sehr sympathisch um die Gäste. Ich komme gern wieder!!! • Nina (10/5): 34th birthday well spent! - Absolutely loved my 3 night stay at Ianthe! The location is a short walking distance to the main pedestrian strip of Oia - you can catch all the beautiful sights along there. The bus stop is virtually out the front if you want to venture anywhere else - also convenient to use to get to the port for your ferry. Maroussa was so helpful during my stay - thank you for a wonderful time at your lovely residence!

• Susanne (10/5): - We stayed in The Villa at Ianthe hotel. This is set slightly further away from the main hotel in the heart of the Caldera. Marousa and her family were excellent hosts. We were warmly welcomed by the pool and had a fantastic stay. The Villa was her great grandmother's home and traditionally decorated, clean and cool. The view is breathtaking. We loved the personal touches (olives from the garden - delicious!). It offers fantastic value for money, with ample space for the two of us. Breakfast is provided in the fridge ready for the morning. Would highly recommend.

• Christopher (10/5): A jewel of a hotel! - This was our first time in santorini. We were so fortunate to have picked this place, Since they are literally about fifty yards away from the main promenade in oia. The hotel has views in the front and back of the Aegean sea And the apartment was very nice. The bed was super comfortable, they had a nice living room area with kitchen table and all kitchen appliances. They have a lovely rooftop deck where we enjoyed a nice bottle of wine while overlooking the sea. The owner, Virginia, and the staff are so nice. They have us a ton of info and i literally felt like family by the time i left. Thank you Ianthe hotel for your hospitality!! Great priced room as well. Can't wait to go back there and enjoy is property and the warm and friendly Greek experience!!

They catered to our every need including arranging transportation, making restaurant reservations, and even providing an adapter and some medication in an emergency. Food market nearby. 2-min walk to the Oia promenade. Bus stop is maybe 20 steps away. Amazing views from our apartment. Very clean. Gated villas/apartment so felt very safe. Great daily breakfast. Daily change of towels and housekeeping. I can’t say any more great things about this place!! We’re only staying here when we go back to Santorini. We got lucky when we chose it on Expedia. What a gem of a place! Anna, Marousa and Thalia are the best hosts!!!

She explained everything thoroughly to us the moment we arrived on what to do around the island and how to get around. She is very attentive to her guests as well as her staff. Oia is very busy, and takes a while to get used to; getting out at 8am or so to walk around is extremely peaceful. Our experience is that if you stay off the main "stip" of Oia, the restaurants were great (including the ones recommended by the hotel).

• Matt (10/5): - I stayed in the Villa, 1 Bedroom, Hot Tub and it was awesome. Perfect spot to watch the sunset over the caldera and the white covered buildings. This villa is across the street facing the water and is separated from the rest of the property. The separation is a non-issue and shouldn't be cause for concern. The room is stocked everyday for breakfast so you can eat on the balcony overlooking the water. The room has an outdoor hot tub too. The owner and her daughter are very friendly and informative on places to eat and go. They even set us up with a rental car for the day. I highly recommend staying at this property, specifically this room. The price is a real bargain compared to other fancier properties facing the water. It's the same view for a fraction of the price.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - Wir waren 12 Nächte dort und können die Bilder die auf der Website dargestellt werden nicht bestätigen...selbst als wir uns auf die Suche machten,die dargestellten Fotos mit Ausblick Jacuzzietc. Sind Fakeund gehören nicht zu dieser Anlage, wir haben 1350€ Flug/Hotel p.P. gezahlt und dafür erwarten wir etwas anderes. Das Badezimmer alt und stinkt nach alten Leitungen/fischig, der Schrank hat auch gestunken,das Appartement notdürftig ausgestattet, zum Frühstück gab es immer das gleiche (auch wenn man den Zettel 1Tag vorher ausfühlt hat bleibt die Auswahl identisch)selbst die Anzahl der Früchte im Obstsalat,der Kaffee ein Zumutung......,keine Auswahl an Wurst/Käse, einrn Tag fab es sogar gar kein Frühstück-Sorry aber sowas geht gar nicht! Keinen morgen konnten wir entspannt ausschlafen da es extrem hellhörig ist und dort dauerhaft Türen geballert werden und dort pausenlos das Telefon klingelt, die Terrasse ungeschützt durch extremen Sturm nur teilweise möglich sie zu nutzen,eine Überdachung zum Sonnenschutz wurde auf Nachfragen an ruhigen Tagen auch nicht gestellt, der Terrassenmöbel ok aber der Tisch eine Zumutung,das Rattan machte es nicht möglich dort vernünftig zu essen. Zudem kam hinzu das es dort mind. 3-5x tgl. Zu Stromausfällen kommt und man nachts viele Nebengeräusche wegen Leitungen hört.......alles in allem enttäuschend. Der Ort Oia schön anzusehen das ist aber auch alles. Auf dieser Insel merkt man eines ganz extrem......Wie bäute ich am besten den Touristen aus!!!!

• Verified traveler (8/5): - バス停からスーツケースを運んで歩くと10分ぐらいです。ティラのメイン通りから外れているので静かです。何と言っても部屋が広いです。オーナーさんは年配の方ですが親切で気さくです。部屋には一通りの物が揃っています。洗面所やシャワールームは新しいようで清潔でした。 ただ一点だけ、キッチンの流しの下にカトラリー等が収納されていますが、そこだけが異常に匂い、開けるのが辛く、他の者に開けてもらっていました。私の苦手なカビ臭い匂いです。 その1点だけです。 グーグルの地図と位置が違います。訂正してほしいです。 確認書として送られて来た地図は合っていました。非常に分かりにくく、たまたま日本からSIMカードを買って行ったので電話をしたら、私達を探して声を掛けてくれました。詳しい経路を載せて欲しいです。

Me and my wife stayed there for our Honeymoon and we will never forget the memories we made. Very nice and always helping people working in the reception who gave us great recommendations. Great location, walking distance to Oia (shopping center and place to walk), markets, and restaurants.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Best location in town, very close to the busiest part of town, but very quiet around. Like everyone else, we felt in love with Anna and her daughter Maruska. They make you feel like part of their family and will make sure your stay is nothing but perfect. She will get out to the door and greet oh and will get out of the door to say good bye the they you finish. The pool of the Forbes Hotel is amazing too, literally 5 mins walk. Make sure to follow Abbas guidance, she is so on point with every recommendation. For us, Anna was the main attraction in Santorini. You will love her!

Especially I like the communal roof top terrace where we can see the amazing caldera view and surrounding area was good, and we enjoyed the amazing view along the path to the town very much. the hosts are kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I really would like to come back one day.

The wine in the room was tasty and the view from the balcony was amazing. We didn't use the sister hotel pool, we were too excited to get to exploring! The location is great and its a short walking distance to the center. Great property and honestly don't have anything bad to say about it! Would definitely stay here next time!

Breakfast is customized to your preferences and served when you want it each morning in your room or on your patio. The communal deck has a great view of the Caldera and the sunset. They plan to add a pool for next summer but for now, access to a nice pool facility is provided in the hotel next door. Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay.

She gave us wonderful dinner recommendations. The property is very clean and comfortable. The bathroom in the triple room is very large and modern. The room itself was very large. The balcony was wonderful and private, beautiful view of the ocean. We loved the breakfast that Marisa would come set up each morning on our balcony. The location was wonderful very close to all the streets and shops of Oia, but also far enough away to be private and quiet. My only complaints were the exit sign in the room was too bright, it was difficult to sleep with them on. I also would prefer if they had a pool or hot tub on the premises. The pool was nice, but a five minute walk down the street at another hotel.

• sarah (10/5): Perfect stay - I can't thank Anna and Marousa enough, for making us feel welcomed and at home. Marousa helped with our taxi transfers and also booked ferry tickets for us. She also went above and beyond with organising to have a package delivered to me after hours. The Villa's location was ideal for taxi drop off, as we didn't have to drag our luggage through the busy street. Our view was breathtaking and we'll definitely stay there again.
• Carmi (4/5): - Was only able to check-in to the apartment at 5pm - as room was not ready. Airconditioner loud and not very effective. Bathroom door didn't close. Dark room. Apartment clean.
• Fredqqq (10/5): Brand new and - This new property run by a mother and daughter is a hidden treasure. They will take good care of you. Price is great for Oia. Location is excellent on the main road. No pool but access to neighboor hotel. Great stay.
• Daniela (8/5): Good hotel - Good hotel, the only attention point is related the anaucement... since they put 2 hotels at the same anaucement, we understood that it has pool and there isn’t.
• noel (10/5): Nice - Nice. Clean, friendly, good hospitality. Near to oia, great sunset view from the attic.
