My first room was humid, but they handled my request to move really fast, which I appreciated. Also left my husband’s charger behind and they quickly found it and brought it up to our room great service! Loved the sunset view, and breakfast was really good too!

The hotel was clean and comfortable throughout my stay, which made it easy to relax after a busy day exploring. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. Breakfast was included, which was a nice bonus. While I personally found the breakfast options a bit limited, this may have simply come down to personal preference rather than an issue with the hotel itself. Overall, I had a good stay and would recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable and well-run place to stay in Belitung.
• fitrii2014 (10/5): A Cozy Beachside Stay with Wonderful Hospitality - I had a wonderful stay at Fairfield Belitung for two nights with a friend. We stayed in a super cozy twin room with a clean bathroom and a lovely balcony overlooking the beach. The view was absolutely beautiful, especially in the early morning and at dawn. It made our stay feel extra special. All the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. I’d especially like to mention the receptionist (I didn’t catch her name, the one with long, slightly wavy hair), who was incredibly cheerful and warm. She made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The driver who picked us up from the airport was also great. Both of them helped us arrange car rental and plan our activities, which made everything so much easier. The location is very convenient. There’s a great café right in front of the hotel. Perfect if you love coffee like I do. A minimarket is just a short walk away, and there’s also a decent beachfront restaurant within walking distance. Plus, several local souvenir shops (toko oleh-oleh) are nearby, which is a nice bonus. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely love to come back.

The staff is amazing, incredibly friendly and attentive, especially big thank you to Rhesa, Gaby, Ferdy, Fina, Chyntia, Febri and to all young ladies working during the breakfast time. The breakfast buffet with mostly local food was very enjoyable and service at the breakfast was spot on. Ocean view room was spotlessly clean with great air-con and the water in the bathroom was hot and fantastic pressure. The location is excellent, with several cafés, restaurants, and a small supermarket nearby and close to the town centre. And I like the beautiful open lobby with traditional design. Nothing.

The hotel has a very strategic location with a beautiful beach view, especially during sunrise and sunset. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with facilities that met Marriott’s standards. The bed was extremely comfortable, which made my sleep quality excellent. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay—from check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. Breakfast offered a good variety of local and international options, although the taste and range of hot dishes could still be improved. The swimming pool with an ocean view became one of the highlights of the stay. Public areas such as the lobby and restaurant also felt modern and cozy. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to business partners or friends visiting Belitung. I hope to return again on my next trip.

Strategic location; only minutes drive from city center ( Satam Square) and many places to get food and coffee nearby. View from room is awesome especially at sunset. Clean and spacious rooms with plenty of amenities. I would suggest additional desk and/or seating in room, and also updating upholstery on restaurant chairs (they’re a bit run down); but these are minor and they don’t take away our great experience. • joypnathanael (10/5): Warning: You May Not Want to Leave This Hotel - I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place deserves it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fairfield by Marriott Belitung is so comfy that I started wondering if they’d let me permanently move in. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel like family—especially Mr. Arnawa and Mrs. Rhesa 🙏🏻. My room was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed. The breakfast buffet? Super good! They serve Belitung specials every day, and some of them are surprisingly even better than the local spots. Kava Restaurant is honestly the best hotel restaurant I’ve ever tried. I fell in love with their Ikan Bakar Jimbaran and Soto Lamongan (and I usually don’t even like soto 👀). I even had the chance to meet some of the chefs—Chef Marta is such an amazing person 👌🏻. The location is another win: close to the beach, near the airport (with free airport transfer!), and easy to explore Belitung. But honestly, half the time I didn’t even want to leave the hotel because it’s just beautiful. If you get the chance, have dinner by the ocean here—it’s magical. The hotel restaurant deserves special praise the variety of dishes was delicious, with authentic flavors and beautifully presented plates that made every meal a special moment. • Svetlana (9/5): Relaxing week in Belitung - The hotel was very close to the town. Personal is well trained and very kind. Good breakfast. Fare from the nice beaches(~ 25 km), but perfect streets and no traffic at all.
• Wolf (9/5): Fantastic stay at the Marriot - Very nice hotel, the staff is wonderfull..we had a great experience also because of Puspita, Jessika and Novi and the rest of the staff who are very friendly and always smile and make you feel so welcome. Febry drive us around the island and he is also a super friendly guy that goes beyond..he showed us the right places , helped us buy the best Martabak and lifted our experience to the next level. The breakfast is very good and has enough variety. Dinner at the hotel is also good and very affordable. You can book daytrips at the front desk, I would for sre recomend the island hopping.If we ever go to Belitung again we will stay here again. We had a great stay, we think the swimming pool could use some renovation, some loose tiles etc.

Management and staff were highly professional, with impressive attention to detail, while also being friendly and welcoming throughout. The room (with sea view), breakfast, and gardens were all maintained to a very high standard. The location is central, with easy access by car to several pristine beaches and jumping off points for island hopping.

• Abigail (8/5): Need better upkeep but great staff - Great staff, location, hospitality. Staff and service were great and friendly. We informed them of some issues during our stay and they reacted professionally and promptly. Maintenance was a bit poor, the first room we stayed at had a beeping aircon. They moved us to another room which was ok but the ceiling needed a fresh coat of paint. The pool was dirty with dead bugs, they put pool towels on a rusty rack. During breakfast the server informed us they were out of eggs due to busy dinner service.

Got room facing the ocean.the room quite small, look a little old but clean. The bath room also clean, but the amenties look poor. The breakfast also not like 4 stars hotel. The variant and the taste really need to be upgrade as the marriott bonvoi group hotel. Overall, for 2 nights stay is enough to get an experience at this city. Hotel location near Adena Ketam Isi that famous as a gift to bring.

• Andre (8/5): Good stay, with friendly staff - Extremly friendly staff. They constantly greet you with you name and are always helpful. The breakfast is good and fresh. I think it’s possible to create the nice yard of the hotel with a bit more love and make it more attractive. They have beautiful space but don’t use it good enough. More flowers, more colour more options to spend the time in the hotel would make it even more attractive.
• Luisella (4/5): Not worth a stay, bad location - Rooms are ok and they have a big swimming pool but not always available The location is not good it’s far from beaches or any attractions. There is a swimming pool but when we stayed at the hotel it was booked for a private party and from the afternoon on it was not accessible for the hotel guests. We were not informed in advance. The breakfast is of low quality I got a water melon juice that was rotten. In short we booked for a 2 days and we cancelled the second day. If you are a tourist there are much better options this place is really sad no beaches no good location no good food average service so no reasons to stay there

• wdito7 (10/5): One of the best hotels in Indonesia - Fairfield by Marriott Belitung operates like a little seaside five star hotel. This property is absolutely awesome because they have a new General Manager who is all about service excellence. I was truly valued as a Bonvoy Titanium Member which is more than many five star properties can deliver across Asia. They take great pride in service and attention to detail. Excellent service, good & drinks and amazing seaside sunset views everyday. The pool is beautiful and always inviting. They even offer fresh coconut juice by the pool. They serve Javabica Coffee; some of the best coffee in Indonesia. Freshly squeezed fruit juices always available at the bar. Smoking and non-smoking areas so everyone is happy. Air conditioning is awesome, hot water and shower / rain shower water pressure is the best. Clean rooms and always a refreshing feeling coming back to a nice cold room after a hot day at the beach. One hour flight from Jakarta via Citilink Airlines. They are a very safe and clean hotel. Internet is high speed and always working. Laundry service is quick with next day and same day service with very affordable rates. Great hotel for long term stays.
• Kelly (10/5): Exceptional service and great hotel. - A fantastic hotel. We couldn’t believe what great value for money this hotel was but what sets this hotel apart from others is the service. Every member of staff we encountered could not do enough for us. It’s the best service we’ve had in our 4 week trip around Indonesia. The rooms were very comfortable with excellent aircon, great shower, extremely clean with a fridge and the usual amenities. Dinner at the hotel was also very good as was breakfast. The general manager spoke to us numerous times checking everything was okay as well as many of the other staff. We didn’t use the pool as we were on day trips but it was big. They also let us check in early which was appreciated as we were going on a day trip so it was good to leave our bags in the room. Photo below of one of our day trips. Would highly recommend the hotel. And we absolutely loved Belitung. Nothing. For the money we paid it massively exceeded expectations. We wouldn’t even get a 2 star hotel / motel in England for this price.
• Burkhard (8/5): Very friendly and well managed staff in a good location - The staff is exceptional, particularly Mbak Penti, the restaurant supervisor, is a class of its own. The location with restaurants and shops around is great, too. The pool area needs more shade, ideally movable. Moreover, the area next to the sea needs an upgrade with better gardening and recreation furniture in order to enjoy the sunsets.
• Sitisarah (8/5): The breakfast was very good with lots of traditional Belitung local cuisine was served. - The breakfast was awesome as it included interesting Belitung local cuisine!! It was great 👍🏽 to have and also pleased to see and have their local medicinal traditional drinks (Jamu) it is what the Javanese is famous for. A staff member, Jasmiati was very helpful with my queries. Her English was good & she had an excellent customer service attitude ❣️ The only problem, we have was that we had a family Junior suite which normally the expectation at that level of hotel accommodation it would include a balcony! That part did not exceed our expectations☹️ & yet the smaller suite on the ground floor had balconies & yet we paid more for our accommodation with no balconies, the level of structure of accommodation did make a lot of sense. It was quite a long stay for not being able to have fresh air into our rooms. The smell of the room wasn’t pleasant, the air the was coming through the air conditioner does not smell fresh??

• A8083JFrh (10/5): Canada to Belitung - The room was very clean and the ventilation systems maintained (no mold or musty smell), the bed was extremely comfortable with lovely linens, and the bathroom shower was fantastic. The food was excellent. Our dinner at the restaurant was delicious with the sambal being the best we’ve had during our six weeks in Indonesia -rich, aromatic flavours. The breakfast buffet had a wide array of choices with the Bubar Ayam and a local soup (I’m sorry I have forgotten the name) taking centre stage—layers of rich flavour. While we didn’t utilize the pool and fitness centre during our stay, the fitness centre was small but had everything one needs for a satisfying workout and the outdoor pool was very large and clean. The location of the property afforded us the opportunity to enjoy a colourful sunset. Last, but not least, the staff provided excellent service. Each member of the team was warm, friendly, and professional at all times and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy during our stay. Thank you. While we might not make it back to Belitung (a long way from home), we’ll definitely stay at other Marriott properties based on our experience at this property and highly recommend this property to others who are planning to visit the beautiful island of Belitung.
• 325maykaa (4/5): My trip in belintung - i had several problems in the hotel . first of all i am a travel agent go around for testing hotels without advise . my perception is the staff was very king but management is not good. we have a problem with food , a lot of plates didn't available all the days . i booked room with balcony , but i didn't like quality of rooms, pillow yellow sheet , yellow towels , and uncomfortable bed, also small . i think they need to change management for someone with take care more the customer. unfortunately this things don't help staff . that i repeat very king. the girl in reception help us to book the tours, because in the hotel don't have .

• Seydi_bey (7/5): Simple hotel with friendly staff - Very welcoming and friendly staff. Everyone had a smile on their face and were happy to help with all the requests we had. We stayed in the sea view room with a balcony with a beautiful sunset view. The bed and pillow were comfy. It is a simple hotel that provides all your needs but has no luxury feel or a wow factor. I found that the pool area design is awkward, there is not much space to chill by the pool and as mentioned in other reviews the area between the pool and the sea can be so much better. It feels like an old, run-down small garden. I believe with a better design and maintenance it has a lot of potential.

Reception staff lovely too including finding me some English breakfast teabags. The view from the Seaview balcony of the garden is well kept however the hard standing surround requires attention. I could see this used for a wedding venue then. It's a 5* from two happy British travellers.
