Guest Reviews
- Sascha-Alexander (10/5): Excellent. - It was exceptionally nice and clean - amazing view and interior design. For the price and location, this was much better than expected. Also looks even nicer than on the photos. Staff was really nice - just the right amount of communication and very polite. Nothing. Everything was fine. I had nothing to criticize and enjoyed my stay.
- Howard (8/5): Central location, not accessible, good shower - Very clean, spotless.
Shower was very good.
Very centrally located.- 2 minute walk to the railway station Bed was very low to the ground.
Only seat was an office chair by the folding table.
If you sat on the bed to watch TV, you were about 10 metres away from it.
No lift and lots of narrow stairs.
Reception/check-in closes at 9pm!

- Mehdi (6/5): Correct pour 2 nuits maximum - Proximité immédiate de la gare, accueil, salle de bain propre. Pas d’ascenseur, très bruyant, la nuit avec les gens dans la rue, mal insonorisé.

- Pilar (10/5): - The place is near all the amenities, so you can walk seconds from a lot of restaurants, shops, cinema, theatre and the station. Manuel made our stay more than comfortable. He was so attentive and welcoming, lovely to start our weekend in a different city with that warm welcome and energy. The room size was good, it wasn't huge but plenty of space more than we needed. A lot of natural light, we could relax from the busy life for a few days. So really please to choose Addison house to stay.
- Rustam (10/5): -
- James (8/5): Ideal for a short stay - Modern, boutique hotel - great location The in-room fridge is a nice idea but it’s too noisy
- CHARLES (7/5): - Staff were great. Very friendly. A bit difficult getting up and down the stairs.
- Jose (8/5): Nice and perfect for a one night stay for work. - Nice room and perfect location in the town Centre. Parking is a pain!
- Walsh (8/5): Comfy nice room. Lovely greeting. - It was the best night's sleep ive had for months. Great comfy bed. They were very friendly and kind. The shower tray nearly flooded as the water did run away very well. But that's fixable .
- Anthony (8/5): -
- herman (10/5): - Très bien
- Michael (9/5): Comfortable, great location - Clean, modern town house, en suite room had everything needed, very close to station, pubs and lots of food outlets, staff very helpful (thanks Manuel), would stay again if in the area Rooms are upstairs, so anyone with mobility issues might be at a disadvantage.
- Max (7/5): - Clean, friendly, practical and central Being ear plugs. It's on the main high street near some pubs and I was there on a Friday and Saturday night, perhaps midweek it's not an issue.
- Hettie (5/5): Will not use this facility again. - It is central The bed was stinking of male body odour! The pillows we completely flat and well used. Inner duvet needs a wash! Shower outside still have black dust and a hair pony in the corner!
- Glenn (7/5): - Close to station Dog barking
- Agnes (10/5): -
- Paredes Nadal (10/5): -
A korai bejeletkezést is bitosították számunkra. Mánuel, a recepciós nagyon barátságos és segítőkész volt. picit lehetett volna olcsóbb
- Ruth (10/5): A gem of a hotel hidden away in the centre of Woking. - Beautifully kept, perfect location and quiet. We particularly appreciated the air conditioning and fridge in the heatwave! Lovely welcome from the staff. The room was such a good size! N/A
- Sue (8/5): Addison House is a pleasant place to stay; easy train distance for London, which is what we needed. - The room was what we needed and the reception staff member was extremely helpful. Dealing with Booking.com when something hasn't gone to plan. We needed to make an alteration to our booking and because it had had to be done through Booking.com when we had intermittent connection (try telling that to a chatbot), the alteration didn't go through, so it cost us more than it should have. Despite two attempts to contact customer service, I had no response other than a survey about customer service which I was too cross to fill out at the time and now find it has expired.
- Yu (10/5): Good - Good location Check out time. If it is a bit longer , it would be good.
- Josephine (8/5): Good value for money - In the centre of town not far from the station Lots of stairs
- Simon (8/5): Great location, 3 mins walk from station. Good value. -
- Jackie (10/5): Good location - Absolutely ideal location for trains, buses, restaurants etc. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely.not luxury but extremely clean and plenty of hot water. We weren't told there was a communal kitchen on the first floor with a microwave, which would have been handy to know.
- Petter (9/5): A perfectly comfortable, nice and clean venue in a very central venue. - A very well-appointed room with a lot of facilities, including a lovely bay window with seating! The staff welcome was excellent, and it was evident that he took a great proud in the venue. I would be very happy to come again! I can't really complain about much, the only slight downside was having to communicate an exact checkin time with the team, but I understand if that is needed for something that isn't a chain hotel. If I could ask for anything for the next stay it would be to add a glass or two to the lovely tea station in the room - but that's a personal preference, not a shortcoming of the venue. Should I ever need to come to Woking again, Addison House would be my first choice of accommodation, so my comments above are merely suggestions for improvements, not complaints!
- Derek (9/5): At a price for this area, I think this is a good option - Nicely appointed room in a good location and the management and attention to customer very good. Nothing to mention
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Judith (9/5): comfortable room in good location - a comfortable room for one night at a good price for its location. The facilities were good and the staff friendly and helpful. it was a short walk to the theatre with a good choice of restaurants nearby. clearer advice about parking would have been helpful as it was not made clear on the booking.com website
- Tony (4/5): Disappointing - Coffee Many things
- Natalya (10/5): Great location, comfortable room, nice staff - The bed was a TRAP - so comfortable you WON'T want to leave it! 4 pillows, cozy blanket, soft mattress... I had an amazing sleep!
The shower had hot water with great pressure.
I liked that the room had carpeted floor.
The staff was exceptionally friendly.
The mini fridge in the room was a nice bonus. The sink was super tiny, the water splashed all over the floor.
- Lawrence (7/5): Good - The hotel needs to reassure prospective guests that they will be able to get into the property when they arrive. Many hotels and B&Bs of this type in London have no staff on location and use key lockboxes, and some turn out to be locked and inaccessible when guests arrive. Guests need to know beforehand what they are getting into. It was accordingly unhelpful when Addison House did not respond clearly to prior inquiries about whether there would be staff on location at the time of arrival in a way that seemed evasive. As it turned out, staff were within five minutes' range of the hotel, but that information should have been openly volunteered beforehand, or, better, stated clearly in the website material or confirmation emails.
- Emma (9/5): Just what you need if you want to be in town. - Unfortunately we had to leave early due to a family emergency but room was comfortable with everything we needed. Parking a 5 minute walk away, very central but unfortunately that meant some ‘characters’ around (nothing the property can do about that)!
- Martin (8/5): Woking flash visit - Location and dinner places at less then 50 steps from the house, a couple blocks from the train station. I wish they have breakfast, although coffe and tea is available in the room along with a frige to use.
- Jane (8/5): Very good -
- Magno (9/5): Superb -
- Catherine (9/5): Great overnight stay - How close it was to the railway station & decent variety of restaurants & takeaways Didn't find anything to dislike
- Anonymous (10/5): Manuel was fab! - Very comfortable room with everything you need.
Manuel was exceptional 😊 Slightly noisy but did not go on too late. This is due to location. We stayed on a Tuesday evening so it was fine.
- Hugh (10/5): Exceptional - Great place and very local to all amenities. Loved it. The staff were amazing and very professional. Especially Manuel. He helped me with my suitcase. And showed me the login system.
- Ashita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Grant (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (10/5): Very happy. Will be booking again for next months trip to the theatre - Very convenient to the theatre Room 3. Bedside light hanging off the wall. No one there to report it to when we left
- Eamonn (7/5): Comfortable stay in great location - Clean, comfortable and basic room in a very good location
- Donna (8/5): Very good -
- David (7/5): Basically good - Spacious Noisy street cleaners in morning
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Alan (10/5): Great caring staff - Great personal attention from staff. Loved it and will use it again Nothing
- Simon (8/5): Perfect for a stopover where you dont need hotel facilities. - I just needed a night to stop over before heading back on the train to Devon in the morning. I stopped here instead of London where I had been for an event. It is far more competetively priced than a hotel in Central London. Perfectly placed 5 minutes from Woking Train Station. Great communications with the staff who met me there and gave me a key and access instructions. If you want hotel facilities and room service then stop somewhere else! :-)
Its very central, shops, food and drink nearby so do you really need a hotel?? I lived in Woking for 16 years so I know the area well but didnt realise this little gem existed, will definitely be using again. Its a bit small so for any extended stay and for more than one it might be a bit cramped, but I havent seen the other rooms and I was travelling alone. Everything was fine. Manage your expectations.
- Rustam (9/5): Superb -
- Charlene (3/5): Wouldn’t stay again - Very good location The drawers were falling apart so couldn’t be used. Light hanging off wall right above head so couldn’t sit up in bed.
The towels smelt of damp where they’d not been dried properly
- Reidy (10/5): Very pleasant. Would stay again. - No breakfast. I'm not a good breakfast eater. Staff 'Tommy' top class. Found it difficult to work the room temperature.
- Alberto (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (7/5): Good -
- Emma (9/5): Superb - Manuel is excellent and it was very central
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and comfortable. Very noisy area, particularly at night.
- Jan (9/5): Excellent little hotel, in the heart of the town centre close to all amenities. - Lovely welcoming staff upon arrival. Easy access. Clean room, plenty of complimentary tea and coffee as well as toiletries. Excellent size fridge in room. Sofa bed mattress probably needs updating. Wall light above bed was loose.
- Jesse (7/5): Good -
- Heather (7/5): Good - The room met our functional needs for our one night stay. Manuel was fantastic! Super responsive, friendly and accommodating. The washroom amenities were small and awkward to maneuver. The washroom had an odd smell and there was a stain on the floor under the bath mat.
- Jai-ning (10/5): Would deffo stay again - The property was very well kept and easy to find Minor thing. The air con was set way too cold
- Roberta (7/5): Good - How clean and friendly it was The noise outside every night and the kettle was not for 3 people staying.
- O'malley (8/5): Very good - I liked air con in my room was lovely Those black towels have got to go I showered and used the towel and was covered in black fluff so annoying also my shower would fill up at the bottom so fast I'd have to turn it off so I didn't flood the place 🙃
- Katherine (9/5): Superb -
- Stan (8/5): Very good - Location Very loud unfortunately
- Juho (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rasha (10/5): Fantastic - Manuel was very lean and flexible, accepting my request for leaving my items until I’m back, his fast response and support was great, I would definitely come back again The toilet tap was shut and not functioning, tried to open and I could not open it
- Julie (8/5): Good value for money, clean, tidy and excellent central location - Excellent location but will probably get loud over the weekend due to it's central location so you can't always win :-). Lovely and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fridge in the room which wasn't expected but was a bonus! Pipe cover in shower room needs properly securing. Didn't use the wi-fi so can't comment on how good it was or otherwise. Perfect location for work and needing accommodation mid-week. tv location - fine for one person in the bed but not so good for the other! No hand towels just a bath towel which could do with being a bit thicker/better quality (don't have to be expensive)
- Jill (7/5): Lovely greeting by staff and great location - Location was great all ok if looking for just a room to sleep for a couple of nights It’s nicer to have white sheets - I stay in a lot of hotels /bed and breakfast places and coloured sheets are not a tick for me
The mugs are also dark and say B&B on them when the Addison isn’t a B&B!
- Melissa (10/5): Lovely bolt hole in the centre of Woking. - Lovely welcome and really helpful info about local restaurants. Thoughtfully put together room, great lighting and use of space, storage. Felt very safe. N/a
- Royston (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathleen (10/5): Great Guest house - So clean + smelt so fresh , had everything you need , great size rooms + lovely place to stay . Also so handy to the train station + restaurants The climb up the stairs was hard but thats because we are unfit lol 😮💨 Check in not available after 9pm , luckily we wer able to make arrangements for someone to check in for us as our flight was delayed
- Richard (8/5): Overall a good choice. - The hotel is excellent value for money, comfy beds, clean and tidy.
The facilities are basic but adequate and helpful staff. The hotel is in a very central area among pubs, restaurants, takeaways etc and can be noisy.
These same restaurants and takeaways receive deliveries in the very early morning in the narrow street where the hotel is situated.
- Elisabeth (9/5): Lovely Boutique hotel right in the middle of town - Lovely house, lovely room in a fantastic location. More tea selection!
- Jeremy (8/5): Met my expectations location and value - Convenient location for rail connections. Clean with good bathroom. They provided nice shampoo/conditioner/body wash The narrow stairs to climb up to the room
- Gazzatogo (8/5): Accommodating and good value for money - The chap that met us at the accommodation was great and check-in was easy. Parking was a challenge, I wouldn't recommend doing it during the day (evenings the roads are quieter), there is a small carpark to the rear which was helpful but it has limited spaces and overnight parking is costly - as a blue badge holder it was straightforward but the accommodation is not suitable for someone with limited mobility (lots of stairs).
- Emma (6/5): Clean small noisy - The location is great and the room was very clean The room was small no room for a bedside table so alarm clock had to go elsewhere
The matress was lumpy
- Lukasz (8/5): Very good - I liked the location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower drain was clogged.
- Melanie (8/5): Very good - Noisy, but nothing the hotel could do about that. Location is over a busy street and there were loud people outside late at night.
- Colum (10/5): Exceptional - clean, tidy and convenient for business travel.
- Emma (8/5): Great little find - Very clean The mattress was lumpy
The fridge kept coming on and making a noise
