Guest Reviews
- Philip (10/5): -
- John (9/5): Fantastic, relaxing and dog friendly - Had all of the amenities that you need, including some complimentary items such as cold bottled water and arrival snacks Nothing
- Jennifer (10/5): Lovely Accommodation - Location was very quiet.
You do need a car as it is a bit out of town. Great pub across the road for food. Nothing.
- Roseleslie (6/5): Okay - The bed was comfortable and I liked the coffee machine and little food extras. Bathroom floor looked like it hadn't been mopped. Outdoor table needed a wipe over and garbage bin was overflowing with pizza box on the ground when we arrived, which I picked up. Male cleaner was very unprofessional getting around with no shoes on and female cleaner on her phone. No welcoming from either of them and I overheard male cleaner complain about the long hour day he had worked. A beautiful motel, but you may need to keep a closer eye on your staff. Also a few earwigs found in the morning.
- Beverly (9/5): Great stay, will definitely come again. - Excellent place to stay and directly across the road from the Farmers Arm’s Hotel which is like a boutique hotel. We paid extra to have one of the dog friendly room but it is possibly the best dog friendly room I have ever stayed in. Would not hesitate coming again. A little bit further out of town around 20 mins if you walk but still very convenient.
- Trudi (9/5): Relaxing stay - Location was great - easy walk to town centre and it was quiet and comfortable
- Virginia (10/5): -
- Debra (10/5): -
- Nicole (10/5): - The room was cosy and inviting and the complimentary snacks were a great little bonus I liked everything about the accomodation
- Leigh (10/5): A comfortable apartment great for a short stay in beautiful Daylesford. Recommend driving to Daylesford Cider, Convent G - Bathroom size, bathroom products, comfortable bed, modern touches. No freezer in the fridge for our ice bricks necessary for a month long road trip, small fridge
- Sophie (8/5): -
- vicki (5/5): As a returning guest was Disappointed with this room - The room was spotless
Linen was beautiful quality crisp and white
Bed was comfortable
Complimentary snacks water etc
Coffee and tea station We were allocated Room 7 which was a wheelchair access room which was not Requested or Required
The bathroom was very large and sparse with no vanity or bench to put Toilet bags so they had to be placed on the floor which was not ideal
The room it self was Minimalistic
A Microwave was provided if you wanted to have a meal in the room but there was little or no space to prepare one and you had to eat it on your knees on the bed
The side table provided barely had enough room for your cup of coffee
We were woken early hours (4.00am)both mornings by loud constant Traffic noise
As a returning quest the previous room we stayed in was Lovely Comfortable and Relaxing
Very Disappointed in this Room
It would be ideal if you were wheelchair bound but not for us

- Butters (9/5): Top notch location and doggo friendly! - The location is spot on. It's about a 10-15 min walk to the town centre - Very easy walk. We brought our doggo with us but I believe there are about 3 or 4 dog friendly rooms, so make sure you check before you book! The room has everything you need for a couple of nights and it's very easy to check in/out via the lockbox on the door. Only thing I would say is it would be excellent if the dog friendly rooms were very clearly stated when booking. Other than that, there is nothing negative to say!
- Skye (10/5): -
- Anthony (7/5): Clean, comfortable and well placed across the road from the Farmers Arms - Clean and comfortable and well placed The Television worked periodically going in and out of picture. The internet connected to the Television needs work
- Louise (10/5): -
- Patrick (9/5): -
- bruce (6/5): We do like the town and will be back when we do more of the Ocean Road - there was no bfast. The cement works behind you is a bugger and i realise that there is not much you can do. Trucks starting at 6.30am . The room and beds are comfortable foe a night on our way thru.
- Sarah (5/5): Disappointing. - As always, the art in the rooms and general ambience was pleasing. The cleanliness of each suite we visit over time seems to get progressively worse. This stay: toilet was not clean, pink mould around the plug and drain holes, and underwear found behind a cushion on the couch. These rooms are clearly not being deep cleaned.
- Julianna (9/5): -
- Jacobus (Phillip) (9/5): Great stay for what you pay - Clean and comfortable Close to CBD
- Leah (10/5): -
- kylie (8/5): -
- Jim (10/5): - We booked these two rooms for our mother and her friend, to be close to one another. The rooms were perfect, both said they were very quiet, beds were comfortable and they had everything they needed! It also helped that they were on one level, without steps involved.
- Amy (10/5): -
- Mary (9/5): Brilliant - Clean, cosy and very new and comfortable. The decor was spot on with all modern facilities. Nothing to dislike.
- Sarah (7/5): -
- Karen (8/5): Room was comfortable but difficult location. - Distance to town was way too far with no car to get there. No advice was given about needing to get a cab to the motel.
- Karen (7/5): - Very clean and lovely furnishings I wasn't too pleased that I had to send a photo of me holding my ID prior to check-in. I travel a lot and have never had to do this before. If I hadn't paid in advance I would have cancelled.
- Shannon (7/5): -
- Jennifer (9/5): As above - Every thing was great Everything except the tv on som channel played up and we missed the important bits
- Peter (8/5): Pleasant & comfortable in a nice location - Good location, comfortable and amenities good.
Good value for money Not a lot for the business model
- Carolyn (10/5): Comfort, style and peace, great location - loved the decor, the snacks provided, the music when we arrived, the big comfy bed, and the shower
Very quiet for a motel and very cosy. Earlier check in would have been nice 2pm for eg
- Theresa (10/5): -
- Jeanette (10/5): - Very comfy bed.
- Sarah (5/5): Disappointing in comparison to previous stays here. - Great location and aesthetics, as always. We’ve stayed here several times; each time the cleanliness levels seem to be depleting. Not sure if there has been a change of staff?
- Jenni (7/5): The room is a lovely room, it had a comfortable big bed, it was located in a convenient place with a park out front of t - It served its purpose. It was warm with a comfortable big bed. The area outside was clean and neat. It was quiet and conveniently located. Both of us were bitten by something in the bed, but we couldn’t find what bit us. We only had one teaspoon and there was a small packet of chips left in the room from the previous tenant.
- KATERINA (10/5): -
- Dorothy Churchward (8/5): A welcome retreat - A very comfortable bed, lovely modern but welcoming furnishings - we've stayed there before and loved it. The room didn't get serviced on the second day but that might just be because the sign had blown down.
The traffic can be a bit noisy- maybe more noticeable this time because we were in the corner room.
- Donna (9/5): Fabulous other than the towel issue - Location and value for $ No towels supplied
- Sassyandlittleguy (10/5): - I liked everything about this motel. It was very clean, well appointed and extremely comfortable especially the bed. It was well presentable on the outside as well as the inside and just a skip, hop and a jump from the pub across the road. Also dog friendly. What was there to not like about this accommodation? Nothing. Maybe it could've had a toaster but that would be all.
The phone wouldn't cast to the TV but there were apps we could use instead, not a big deal.
- Saunders (7/5): -
- Amanda (9/5): -
- Natalie (10/5): Perfect motel in Daylesford - This motel had the best shower ever. The room was a really good size and the bed was very comfy.
- Helen (10/5): Very clean & cosy - Plush & Cosy -
- Tom (8/5): Overall good - Lovely, clean, modern rooms. Although a little out of town, it was across the road from a great pub No complaints about the property per se. However felt the pre check-in procedures request for personal data was a bit too much
- Deborah (9/5): A great place to stay in the beautiful town of Daylesford. - Great location. Spacious. Quiet.
- Viola (8/5): -
- Virginia (9/5): - Location was good, room super clean, quiet area.
- Josephine (10/5): Amazing - Location perfect
- Kadir (10/5): Perfect daylesford getaway - Lovely staff, large, well maintained and excellent location opposite Farmers Arms.
The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and felt very expensive. The plantation shutters didn’t fully block light.
- Kerry (9/5): Exceptional accommodation - A very clean, spacious and modern accommodation. Great communication and easy to access.
- Tracy (9/5): -
- Courtney (8/5): -
- Richard (8/5): - Comfy bed, clean room, free snacks left in room. Extremely noisy split system (probably needed a service). We both had trouble sleeping it was so noisy. Fairly expensive for a glorified motel, although it was Easter weekend so probably jacked-up the price.
- King (10/5): - Such an easy and straight forward stay.
Had everything we needed for our overnight stay and great location Nothing
- Quintin (8/5): -
- LORNA (9/5): Great dog friendly accomodation - Dog friendly
Clean & modern
Great location
Complimentary snacks Nothing
- maria (10/5): -
- Tobias (9/5): -
- amanda (5/5): Room was clean, when we could access it - Accessible bathroom would suit some people, for us it wasn’t needed. We couldn’t check in till 5.30pm due to a stuff up with the cleaning staff. There was no offer of making amends for the stuff up, just a blunt thanks for being patient.
- Teresa (9/5): - Prices heavily jacked up for the long weekend, like over double per night, this was the only downside.
- Dylan (10/5): -
- Marcello (8/5): - Comfortable room was well equipped The weekend price loading, but this seemed to be town wide.
- Karen (8/5): -
- Emma (10/5): Would definitely stay here again. - Absolutely loved the idea of the lockbox. So checking in and out was so easy. Only dislike was the distance to the centre. But that’s an easy walk or drive.
- Jennifer (10/5): -
- Renae (8/5): -
- tony (7/5): -
- Catherine (9/5): Cosy , good value and efficient self check in - Tasteful decor, well equipped kitchen utensils .
Complimentary snacks a nice touch
- Sally (10/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): -
- Desiree (9/5): Lovely accommodation, enjoyed the art and facilities. - Very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, great location. Would definitely stay here again.
- Kendall (8/5): Perfect for a weekend stay. Super comfy bed - Great location, cute stay
- Chloe (8/5): -
- DES (9/5): Decor was very modern, comfortable, bright and clean. Nice to have complementary sweets. - Decor was very modern, comfortable, bright and clean. Nice to have complementary sweets.
- Ashleigh (9/5): Excellent price and location - Great property Nothing it was nice
- Liz (10/5): -
- Ashleigh (9/5): Excellent location, modern and well priced - Well located and modern Nothing it was great
- John (10/5): The best accommodation we've stayed in this holiday. - Spacious room. Very nicely appointed decor. Finding the snacks to go with our bottle of local wine was a nice surprise. loved the roomy bathroom. Would enjoy staying here longer.
- Anne (10/5): Fab - The location, clean rooms and style Nothing
- Peter (10/5): Spoil yourself and stay there. Very reasonable rates. - Beautifully appointed, had everything we needed, including nibbles. Location was just up the road from Daylesford Main Street. Not a thing.
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional Venue definitely top notch. - This would be one of the best set up rooms i have ever stayed at. Very minor, no spare toilet paper and we would prefer a Kettle and Instant Coffee option rather than a pod machine, not a fan of pod coffees
- David (10/5): Quality Motel - Excellent very comfortable room with quality bedding & furnishings. Easy checkin & checkout Nil
- Peter (8/5): It was great. Haandy to shops and pub -
- Dianne (10/5): -
- Wai Yin (10/5): - Spacious room and clean. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure in the shower.
Very nice pet friendly room.
- Diane (10/5): The decor was tasteful, it was clean and comfortable. Extras like nice crockery and little touches of luxury were greatl - It had everything you need for a home away from home especially if you are travelling
- GUY (9/5): SURPRISE!!!! - Surprisingly very comfortable, well equipped.and very spacious. I can recommend ART for short stays to Daylesford. Location is a little too far for walking into the main street for the elderly.
- Guy (8/5): Enjoyed our stay - The room was comfortable and neat, creating an inviting and cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The simplicity of the room was welcomed. There were some marks on the walls, especially in the bathroom. Not having a reception for check-in is usually problematic, as I prefer staff to be there to welcome guests. Additionally, a minor issue was that the complimentary coffee was not labelled.
- RENEA (8/5): Lovely motel and room, would stay again. - Neat, tidy, clean complex. Room was comfortable, bed was very, very comfortable! Liked that aircon and nice music were on, on arrival.
Nice little touches like complimentary snacks and water.
Lovely bathroom products. While the code process was easy, getting the actual box open was hard for me and I can see how other reviewers struggled.
Could hear dog barking one night from the dog friendly side of the complex.
Suggest some coat hangers for the coatracks to hang things on rather than a hook.
- Maureen (8/5): Comfortable overnight stay in a well-appointed room in popular Daylesford. - comfortable, well-appointed room, comfortable bed, good bathroom layout and style. The complimentary snacks was a thoughtful and appreciated touch. We were a little further away from the main shopping area than anticipated, which meant we used the car more than expected.
- John (8/5): -
- Edward (9/5): A convenient and comfortable stay for a long weekend away - The furniture and interior of the room was stylish very impressive for a motel Nothing. Would’ve been to have staff on sight but this wasn’t a problem the use the lock boxes
- Cathleen (10/5): -
- Elizabeth (9/5): Chilled out in style and comfort in Daylesford - The room was clean with beautiful lampshades and unique furnishings. Salus products from the local business, a selection of Twinings teas and complimentary snacks were added touches that really made us feel welcome I am not fluent in Nespresso capsules so I had to google what the different coloured capsules are
- Thomas (10/5): Well located and good vibes all round. - The welcoming space, good ambient music when we arrived in. The complimentary snacks were a welcome bonus. Close to everything we wanted to go to. Property was efficient to access and so smooth to check out of. Only thing not a deal breaker I couldn’t cast the streaming services I wanted to the tv. Required an app on our phone to cast to tv and still after downloading the app the tv wouldn’t cast despite being a smart tv.
Wasn’t a deal breaker but just some
- Tinh (10/5): Elevated motel experience - Clean, comfortable with all the amenities you need including coffee, tea, free mini bar snacks and luxurious Salus toiletries. There was even an ironing board and iron if you needed one!
