Not a fan that the balcony is shared with the room next door.

Daan (9/5): - De locatie is uitstekend en het personeel uiterst behulpzaam. Van scooter verhuur tot een wasje draaien, ze kunnen je overal bij helpen. Als kers op de taart, ze hadden net een puppy gekregen. Vader en moeder (Milo en Coco) lopen ook nog vrolijk rond op hè terrein.

Un régal en se réveillant. La chambre était très bien. La Literie était un peu dure mais c'est comme ça que je l''aime La famille est adorable et m'a organisé le tour de Kayak dans la grotte Phong Nha et le bus pour mon étape suivante. Ils sont très aidants. Je suis restée 2 nuits et aurait aimé rester plus longtemps .Je recommande. Peut-être le bruit de la climatisation dans la chambre
Aline (8/5): Village très calme - Les 2 chambres devant la rivière sont superbes. On peut facilement se baigner dans la rivière juste en bas. Les repas à côté, dans la même famille, sont très bons. La chambre des enfants se trouve vers l'intérieur sans trop d'aération. Uniquement 2 chambres vue rivière donc bien pour couple ou groupe de 4.

Plus the hosts provides you the opportunity for various activities that you can do! When we visited the place there was a heat wave going on so it was too hot. Simone (9/5): - Giovane famiglia che gestisce la home stay. Molto carini e gentili, disponibili a venire in contro alle esigenze....anche se con un bel po' di difficoltà nella comunicazione! Abbiamo avuto un malinteso per questa difficoltà nel comunicare, ma risolto con la gentilezza e disponibilità. Puoi fare colazione affacciato sul fiume in zona tranquilla anche se il rumore del traffico a fianco è sempre presente. Bici incluse e possibilità di noleggio scooter e lavanderia. Consigliato, più adatto a coppie che viaggiatori singoli.

Hésitez pas à demander une couverture si vous avez froid car elles ne sont pas fournies d’office.

Marjon (8/5): - Locatie stukje buiten het centrum, maar wel alles op loopafstand. Ze bieden verschillende extra services aan zoals scooter huren en wassen. Je kunt ook verschillende tours boeken. Eigenaar kan een beetje pushen, maar bied wel een hele goede prijs. Wij hebben uiteindelijk een busrit van Phong Nha naar Hoi An geboekt. Die was heel goed! Het verblijf is verder heel leuk aangekleed en je hebt super mooi uitzicht op de rivier. Ontbijt bestel je vanaf een vaste kaart, niet heel veel keuze.

Valeria (7/5): - la ubicacion y el personal amable el agua caliente acababa rapido. en invierno hay mucha humedad y hace frio y las habitaciones no permiten aire caliente. la ducha no tiene mampara asi que se moja todo el baño.
Bernhard (8/5): Would recommend :) - Very beautiful location and surroundings. The manager is super engaged and helpful. The rooms were clean. The pictures are clearly a few years old and the rooms were a bit worn down. Humidity was very high, clothes got damp over the course of two days.
Cynthia (8/5): The owners made our stay fabulous. - The owners were so helpful and welcoming. The location was terrific. It felt like home. The rooms were a bit older than the photos suggested. The river view rooms were the best.
Sam (10/5): Comfortable, friendly stay. - This is a genuine homestay with basic comfortable rooms. You are sharing the area with a very hospitable family who does everything they can to make you feel welcome and comfortable. They organised our transport to Cat Ba Island on the overnight sleeping bus which included all the little transfers. ie electric buggy to the bus pickup point in Phong Nha town, the bus itself and taxi from bus drop off to ferry, the ferry itself AND another taxi/transfer from ferry dropoff to our hotel! Extremely impressed with all of this for just $900,000vnd per person. Location is right on the river and easy walking to town and local food/drinks. Highly recommend especially for budget travellers. The street is busy late and early and the walls are thin. I slept with ear plugs but husband and teenager slept fine without. Still would recommend for budget traveller.

We discussed a few possibilities for excursoins/activities and he arranged everything! Even when we left he took care for the bus tickets. The weather...
Thomas (7/5): Niemals wieder - Abholservice war OK. Tour zur Paradise Cave war OK. Bringservice nach Dong Hoi war OK. Frühstück können wir nicht beurteilen, haben auswärts gegessen. Zur Phong Nha Cave kommt man nur mit einem Boot, das man chartern muss! Eintritt 150.000 d p.P. + Boot 700.000 d 1P. bis 14P. Beide Höhlen sollte man anschauen. Für wenig Geld bekommt man wenig Gegenleistung. Die gesamte Anlage ist ein Flickwerk aus zusammen getragenen gammeligen Stühlen, Liegen und Tischen aus angepinselten Autoreifen. Die Fußböden der Holzterrassen wurden stümperhaft verlegt. Am Flussufer liegen die alten blauen Plastikplatten der alten Überdachung. Wohlfühloase? Fehlanzeige! Wir haben nach zwei von vier Tagen hier abgebrochen. Nicht nur wegen des Wetters.

Trang (8/5): Unremarkable - I was here during the quiet season so apparently there was only me there. Good atmosphere. Free bike to borrow. It’s better to get the river view room than the garden view (it’s not really a garden) Owner was a little pushy. Breakfast supposedly included but was never offered. Room is pretty minimal

Michael (7/5): Average stay but with great view and nice host - The location was great and the host is very friendly. The accommodation is quite badly soundproofed Here some more ideas for improvement: - proper vegan options for breakfast would be nice - a cozy lamp for the evening hours near the bed would be nice. Currently it’s either full lights on or off Also guests should be cautious when using the balcony. There are some quite big holes in between the wooden floor-planks where one could easily lose some belongings

David (6/5): A charming stay but it left me on edge - This is excellent value for money and wonderfully located on the river in Phong Nha. The room is simple but it does the job and it is walking distance to the main part of town with shops and restaurants. The owner is able to help out with everything you need including tours. I thought this was a great property and really it would have been given a ten if it were not for the below. The owners have two very cute dogs, one is a puppy. Unfortunately the family's young son is incredible rough with the puppy. i even had to intervene several times when seeing or hearing the puppy squeal in pain. this made it a very anxiety inducing to stay here and i think the child and dog should not be left alone together.

Enrico (9/5): - Vista meravigliosa sul fiume. Personale gentile, che non fornisce servizio ristorazione ma rimanda all'homestay di fianco in cui si mangia benissimo. Quindi nessun problema con questo. Ventilatore, aria condizionata, prodotti per la doccia, tutto. Non mi posso lamentare di niente per il rezzo pagato. Ho soggiornato tra il 14 ed il 17 agosto. Tornerei nulla, tutto bene con questo hotel. Tanti saluti al personale dall'Italia :) Alla prossima!
Arlette (9/5): Very good value good location friendly and beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend for the money. - Both the location and the owner made this a fantastic place to stay. Stunning location on the river with the mountain backdrop. The owner couldn’t do enough to help us with organising trips and telling us what time we needed to be where and so on. Bathroom a little bit small but for the price really good value.

Elena (9/5): Inmejorable vistas - La habitación está en la orilla del río, las visitas son inmejorables. Llegamos de madrugada con sleepy bus y estuvieron pendientes de nuestra llegada, nos dejaron descansar en las tumbonas y hamacas. El desayuno lo sirven rápido y está bueno. Nos ayudaron a contratar las visitas a las cuevas y fue muy bien, los chicos que llevan la excursión son muy amables. El día que nos íbamos, íbamos apuradas de tiempo y nos acercaron en coche a la parada del bus, fueron muy amables en todo momento. Limpieza correcta.

Coline (10/5): Merci beaucoup !! on a adoré !! - Le personnel est adorable !! Tout était parfait. Le gérant est venu nous récupérer directement à la gare. La chambre était d’une propreté incroyable, le lieu est sublime et le petit déjeuner était très bon et servi même en avance car nous devions partir tôt. Ils ont été très arrangeants et gentils. Je recommande à 100%. La localisation est parfaite pour explorer !

Ben (7/5): Basic but decent value. - They provided breakfast which was good, good location, good price, we had some help from staff finding a specific trip to nearby caves, which was helpful as there are a lot of trips to choose from, plus we got a drive to the bus stop at the last minute, which was much appreciated. There are good views over the river from bar/restaurant. There were some pretty significant communication problems as regards English from more than one member of staff compared to other places we'd been on this trip in Vietnam and Cambodia, a lot of pointless hassling on Whatsapp after arrangements had been made and agreed, difficulty with establishing what a situation was largely because of the communication problems mentioned above, a noisy start to the day given that we're right next to the main road (mind you all the hotels on this strip are), though it seemed like the proprietor might have been playing music at full blast early in the morning possibly because he thought he needed to wake us up. Room itself is basic by the standards of other rooms of similar value we'd seen - no TV, no minibar, no kettle.
Gutierrez (9/5): - La familia que lo lleva es muy amable y te ayudan en todo. A nosotras nos alquilaron una moto con la que nos estuvimos moviendo por allí. Está a 10 minutos andando del embarcadero que te lleva a las cuevas y de una calle con muchísimos locales de restauración.
