Guest Reviews
- Kaumarjya (8/5): Stay front of river nile - Right in front of the Nile and just a short walk to Luxor Temple! There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and both the room and bathroom were spotless. The room has two single beds, which felt a bit cramped for two adults and kids.

- Amr (8/5): - I like the hotel For a long time And it's very good location And the staff very nice
- ibrahim (1/5): - Nothing Everything

- Baraka69 (10/5): - Walking distance to Luxor temple. Comfortable rooms. Close proximity to restaurants. Pool on roof Everything was good 👍
- Thulare Lawrance (2/5): It was a terrible stay. - The receptionist tried her best to welcome and accommodate my family The hotel is generally unclean, the lift is quite old, it appeared that there was some construction happening right next to our room, bath tubs are old and dirty, and there was no hot water in the morning

- john (3/5): - Rooftop pool was quiet. Nice to sit and relax with a great view. Breakfast was served by one of the staff who was helpful. The room was basic and run down. The safe didnt work, the telephone in the room was disconnected, the hot water for the shower didnt always work. Most of the staff were not very friendly and unhelpful, most didnt understand English.

- Baraka69 (10/5): My Go To Hotel in Luxor - I’ve stayed at the New Pola Hotel numerous times and it’s always my first choice when visiting Luxor. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and on this visit we had a lovely room with a view of the Nile, which made our stay extra special.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of Luxor Temple and a variety of restaurants. I especially recommend the Italian restaurant Pizza Roma and Sunrise, both just a short walk away.
I stayed here with my daughter and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. Breakfast costs a little extra, but it’s generous and good value. Overall, a reliable, comfortable hotel that I happily return to every time I’m in Luxor. Everything was 👍
- Zakaria (5/5): Good view - Beautiful view on the Nile Staff reception is rude , furniture are old , doors doesn’t close properly

- Berta (2/5): Pèssima estada a Luxor - Esta ben ubicat El personal es desagradable, les instal·lacions estan molt deteriorades, no hi havia aigua calenta, els llits molt incòmodes, l’habitació no donava la sensació d’estar net.
Molt males sensacions
- mengyu (6/5): - location is good
- Marouane (8/5): Great Value and Friendly Staff - This hotel is a great value for the price. The location is perfect, close to Luxor Temple and shops. The staff were very helpful, Youssef helped me book a balloon tour and the manager gave me a discount to extend my stay. The room was clean, though the hot water in the shower takes a few minutes to warm up.
My only suggestion is to provide guests with more information upfront. A simple info card with the Wi-Fi password, breakfast details, and pool fees would be really helpful. Overall, a good stay for solo travelers on a budget!

- Rangel (7/5): beautiful view of the Nile in the center - It's an old hotel, very well located. The view of the Nile from the balcony and terrace is incredible! Very good prices for water and drinks at the reception. They could improve the facilities, they are quite deteriorated, the bathroom was not very clean and the toilet was blocked.
- Miriam (3/5): Poor - location, restaurants near by. Balcony Front desk staff did. not speak English as stated in Booking. com. Breakfast for purchase was horrible. Had to constantly get air conditioner fixed. only given one roll of T.P. at a time. Linens were threadbare. Bookings double billed hotel. Many calls and messages to resolve. Never was told hotel initiated anything about being paid twice
- Romondo (10/5): - The hotel was clean and not far Karnak and Luxor Temples. They also booked a tour of The Valley Of The Kings for a reasonable price. I would stay there again.
- Sergio (7/5): Good -

- Yukinori (6/5): - You can see the Nile room the balcony, if you choose "River side". The location for sightseeing is also good. The building was very old, and equipment was not in good condition, too.
Very good quality / price
- Shivaprasad (10/5): nice comfortable pocket friendly - nice property in the hesrt of the city. indian restaursnt, river nile, luxor trmple at walkable distance.
staff n rooms r clean n goood.
we stayed 3 days and we were happy here. the toilet seat.
- Tarek (2/5): Wrong Selection - the location in the front of Nile River Bathroom was very bad and without shawar
Hot water was not available at all times
Wardrobe was not clean
Room save was not working
- Abel (5/5): Nice place for what you pay for. They have a lift that works well, it’s quiet, clean, great location and friendly peopl - Nice location, relatively clean and friendly staff. Price was right as well. The WiFi was absolutely horrible. I had to use my phone’s WiFi hotspot, in order to connect most times. Thankfully got a local SIM on the day that I arrived. If I did not have that connection, my stay would have been a disaster.
- Pamela (7/5): 7/10 - - The room furnishings were basic, but everything was very clean.
- Nile view is nice, but partially covered with trees.
- The staff was very friendly.
- THE WI-FI WAS FANTASTIC! It worked flawlessly throughout my entire stay and was surprisingly fast. This is a huge plus for anyone who needs to stay connected. Noise from the road was the biggest issue during my stay. The hotel is located next to a very busy and noisy road. Even on the fourth floor, and even at night, the traffic noise was extremely loud. We had to sleep with earplugs every night, despite being so high up. This could be a major problem for people sensitive to noise.
- Ahmed (10/5): - This is an affordable hotel with excellent service the rooms are lovely with amazing view of river nile . The staff are very helpful .
- Lucas (5/5): Very underwhelming - you get what you pay for! - You get what you pay for - for the value it was sufficient and the room was big. Felt quite depressing - very old decor and felt quite dark.
Other than the kind people that helped with my bags up to my room the staff seemed quite miserable and unwelcoming.
Shower was cold for most of my stay and there were no towels or regular cleaning.
It’s worth paying a bit more and staying at a nicer hotel for a better experience!
- Perkin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lorraine (4/5): Jaded - Location was ok Very noisy from traffic and Egyptian guests in hotel. No hot water for shower. No food available although there was a restaurant on site it was closed. I have stayed there before and always got at least breakfast. Has certainly gone downhill.
- Uriel (10/5): - Great location and very friendly people and staff
- Vadim (8/5): Very good -
- Eman (6/5): Pleasant -
- Derek (9/5): We were greeted at the street for our bags and the nice pool is the first thing u see🤙🏼 - The pool was amazingly clean, the only hotel we stayed at the was swimmer ready A peaceful place just needed a tv in the room
- Deep (8/5): Very good - The hotel is on East bank in luxor . Walkable distance to boat area. Budget hotel with good amenities and service. also have an Indian Restaurant ( A taste of India) near to it. Railway station and bus station are also 1 km away. Airport is 20 mins drive.
- Rihana (3/5): Good for catching up on a quick sleep. - We were very late but someone still came to open the door. The price we paid didn’t match the one we saw on booking.com
- Roseyrr (1/5): MR BOLA horrible owner or manager disrespectful to guests ! - Nothing Everything…
So bad that upon exiting ,They ask guests to write a good review about them and to give them a 10 star rating !
- Roseyrr (1/5): AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!! - Nothing ! The only reason I stayed at this hotel and extended my stay was because I was job hunting , and it was affordable to stay for a long time, if I was on vacation,I would avoid this motel completely as it would only ruin your vacay! The staff dislike the owners son Mr Bola (the manager ) so much that they plant bundles of hair In between the sheets and on arrival I had to change rooms due to this. No room is clean even if you change it.contacted dermatitis, smells comes out the toilet drains and stinks up the room , bed bugs , mold etc. presented with dirty towels and dirty blankets and pillows ,also the manager/owners son tried to scam me into paying more money as per black market dollar exchange rate which is much more than the daily dollar exchange rate ( Google about this ) his reason for charging me more than the booking.com rate is because according to him I use electricity and water ! the reason they don’t allow you to pay online and to only pay onsite is to scam you! obviously I didn’t pay this black market rate as I contacted a lawyer who said it’s not allowed to charge this rate , the one time I extended online and didn’t go down to reception the day of to pay as I was sick from food poisoning so I stayed in my room , them knowing that I will pay as I have before when I extended my stay ,they cut the electricity in the room, when I contacted them they said they will connect it back when I pay. not my fault I was sick and they don’t except online Payments, what an inconvenience! when I brought this up as to how they can do this, atleast call me instead of cutting the power in the room, he argued with me and said he is the owner and I am just a guest, these people are just as dirty as their motel is , eager to take the money for the stay but disrespect their guests .poor mentality , worst I have ever experienced in all Egypt and I have travelled to many countries and was never treated this poorly as a guest, these people have no shame!
- Roseyrr (1/5): Disgusting dirty place ! - Nothing Everything
- Mina (8/5): Very good -
- Roseyrr (1/5): AVOID …thank me later ! - Nothing Owner Mr Bola very rude and aggressive man , he demanded I pay him dollars outside the daily dollar exchange rate , meaning he wanted more money as per black market exchange rate which isn’t allowed , when I said I got legal advise he quickly settled for the booking
.com rate. dirty place , towels and beddings are not changed , and dirty . Contacted dermatitis ( see photo ) and bed bug bites. No hot water at times . Just awful !
- Azza (1/5): They don't care about the guests—do NOT book this hotel. I rarely put any bad reviews, and this is hands down the wo - Nothing. Everything. From the manager who was very rude, and didn't help to solve anything to the untrained staff, to the leak in front of the elevator where one of us almost slipped as it was dark, to the stench in the bathroom, to having to keep changing rooms because of issues, to the broken door where we were stuck inside the room and couldn't get out which is a fire hazard, to the guests smoking weed next door which stenched up the halls and our room that we got dizzy— and the staff did NOTHING about it, the manager didn't even apologise. Horrible stay! Oh and it is not like the images at all.
- Leila (10/5): Great location and view point. Short walk from main attractions - The rooms was very big and spacious. Clean and average. It had a wonderful big window with balcony overlooking the River Nile, some lush greenery and the main popular road just below. From the balcony you can stand for hours viewing the main road with all the horse carriages going past. Thought its a main road but its a beautiful site. Easily within a waking distance from the main attraction. From the Luxor temple its probably 10 minutes walk. The carriages only take 20EGP. Its a high building with three lifts. The top rooms on the high floor has great views. I was on 6th floor. Definitely would recommend it. They also have laundry and ironing services. They charges me 60EGP for ironing 3 dresses . The corridors and the lifts are 80/90s style. Bare in mind this is an old hotel that is partially refurbished. Its basic - definitely value for money.
- Ibrahim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alisonegypt (7/5): Satisfactory - Beautiful view of the River Nile.
Near to all amenities. The swimming pool was half empty and filthy.
The fridge in my room was filthy.
There was no cleaning staff.
- Abdelmoula (7/5): Good - Location No accoustic door noise of street very high
- Muhammad (1/5): Its ok not best all turiest attraction is far. - This hotel batroom is worest and broken. Just got a Balcony.
- Chirag (7/5): Good -
- Penagos (3/5): It has potential but a lot of stuff has to get better - Location was good. Unfortunately we didn’t had a good experience. We had to change of room twice because the air conditioner was not working and the Wi-Fi connection was bad. The staff was slowly. We ask for toilet paper and never got it delivered.
- Chirag (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dario (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ives (3/5): Poor -
- Date (7/5): Only for boys to sleep at night it’s ok - Good location No good bath towel, no hot water, bad toilet
- Power (8/5): Very good -
- Mustafa (5/5): I wouldn't want to experience it. - The location of the hotel was quite good. room view covers the Nile river. The fact that the room has a balcony can be evaluated as + points. employees do not speak English and absolutely cannot be communicated. The hotel's pool should not attract your attention, it is not used. The cleanliness of the rooms is not that good.
- Baraka69 (10/5): Exceptional - I love this hotel, my first stay was alone in 2018 and my second stay was in May 2023 with my daughter. Both stays have been very comfortable. The staff are lovely and the location is perfect as it is close to Old Sheraton St where there are plenty of restaurants & Dream beach.
- Alison (8/5): Fantastic. - Fantastic view of the River Nile and West Bank.
Swimming pool on the roof.
A very good budget hotel.
staff very friendly and approachable.
There was a large fridge in the hotel room.
Hair dryer in the hotel room Liked Everything.
- Anthony (9/5): The small hotel offers really good value for money-the hotel is worth staying at - the manager was so lovely-the hotel offers good value for money
- Michel (7/5): Good stay - The view and location. Room and airco and beds are fine. I booked the hotel to have a swimming pool and it was empty and the sunbeds and umbrellas very old. The toilet flush was very hard to push. You get what you pay for, so was okay but unfortunately couldn't use the pool.
