- angie&paul (10/5): - Hosts was excellent, attentive, peaceful location close to beach trams pleasure beach..breakfast was beautiful, filling.
Really made you feel welcomed. Quirky Hotel is too😁 informative of the area. A great few days staying here would recommend strongly as nobody arguing fighting obnoxious like some b&b we've stayed at. Parking, no problem...overall in busy blackpool, which is what you come for, after a long day, staying at this hotel gives you peace and quiet and a great nights sleep..thank you for having us will definitely stay again.
- Fiona (8/5): Clean and tidy x - Quirky Would like milk rather than powder milk
- Ramona (7/5): Sehr nah zum Freizeitpark Pleasure Beach und zur Promenade - Zimmer war sauber
Personal war sehr freundlich
Aussicht aus dem Zimmer Sehr alte Einrichtung
Dusche klein
Keine Ablage im Badezimmer
Etwas hellhörig
- Amanda (3/5): Avoid wouldn’t return - The location It needs a total makeover, dated poor quality fixtures and fittings poor workmanship, needs a good clean some aspects were not safe cracked window in room, no view out of the window due to it been vinyl wrapped to block out disgusting rear garden, taps on backwards, shower makes a horrendous noise when in use toilet doesn’t flush properly, water supply from basin smelt funny and tasted vile, no amenities provided in room no milk for the 1 teabag provided per couple, advertises a bar but not open owners sat in there but not welcoming for guests, communal areas dusty general tiredness and musty smell throughout, 2nd night was itching all night was meant to stay a 3rd but left and went to another much better quality hotel
- Helen (10/5): brilliant x - very welcoming and accommodating staff. fantastic cosy rooms, very comfy beds x
- David (9/5): Clean comfortable and great value - Clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff who were prepared to do anything for us. We couldn’t have been happier Nothing to not like really. It’s an older building so a little Drafty and a better heater in the room would be an idea but, it’s not a game changer
- Misselbrook (10/5): Thank you to all the family who welcomed us on our stay - The family hotel was very friendly and very welcoming to us ,also they helped us with anything that was needed we would like to say thank you to all the family ,we would go again to the royal hotel Nothing

Will sure to be back.
- Paul (9/5): - Lovely place. Lovely hosts. A guest we met, Kevin, wow...his love of rollercoasters is unparalleled. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. This is the place to stay away from the hustle and bustle and within walking distance of a tram stop. Cheers! Nothing.

- Ryan (7/5): - The staff were very friendly. I wasnt expecting much and for what i wanted it was bang on.
Right near the pleasure beach (fair ground) 2 minute walk from the beach and also a tram stop 2 minutes away which comes in handy for getting up and down the strip especially with tired kids. I cant moan.
- Joseph (10/5): - Staff was really friendly and helpful. Went out there way for us.
- Andrew (9/5): -
- Adrian (9/5): - Great people, great breakfast and great location.

- keeley (10/5): - Nice and friendly Nothing
- Diane (9/5): Peaceful location with everything just a tram ride away - Breakfast was £8pp and was really fresh, hot and tasty. The staff were lovely and the service was spot on. The staff were lovely with my little boys -2 5 month puppies- and they had an amazing holiday too. This made our holiday good too so thank you. The weather for time of year. But then we are in the UK. The hotel was really good.
- Wendy (7/5): Annual family get together and fun weekend. - I loved our bed. 4 poster and very comfortable. Loved our room too, warm, cosy and clean and liked the fact we had a balcony to sit out on in the sun. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We're thinking about booking up there again next time Didn't like the bar, no drinks on tap, all bottles and cans which were quite expensive and although the breakfast was nice and staff friendly and inviting at breakfast time, I think the dining room could do with updating and brightening up and decluttered. Our bathroom and shower tiny and hardly anywhere to put our toiletries and the shower was very noisy.
- Ian Macphail (6/5): Nice clean small rooms. - Small comfy family Room
Clean. Lovely owners.
Nice Bar.
Good Breakfast. Shower, not the best.
But did the job.
- Michael (10/5): Lovely , friendly hotel. We went as strangers and left as friends. - Wonderful breakfast. We had 3 rooms, all were clean and comfortable. We chose the Royal because it was pet friendly and wanted to take our dogs. It wasn't just pet friendly, Claire, Michael and all the staff actually like dogs, they were made as welcome as we were. Excellent family Hotel.
- Dilshad (10/5): -
- Charles (8/5): We enjoyed every bit of our stay both at the hotel and the Pleasure Beach - Very friendly staff N/A
- Justyna (10/5): -
- Adrian (9/5): - Nice family run hotel. Very friendly staff. No dislikes.
- ian (9/5): -
- Nigel (10/5): -
- Aleksandra (10/5): -
- Hilary (8/5): Very comfortable & friendly atmosphere.. - The Hotel is very old worldly, which we loved.. Very clean & tidy, room was nicely decorated, & very clean.. There was a little balcony, which was good for us.. The owners where very friendly & have had the Hotel for 19 teen yrs, & couldn’t do enough for you.. It wasn’t for from the tram stop, & walking distance to everything at South pier.. Nothing really!
- comer (10/5): Well worth staying - Hosts were excellent and very clean hotel
- Yvonne (8/5): - Hosts made us very welcome, couldn’t do enough for us, had a very pleasant stay, would definitely recommend
- Steve (10/5): We stayed with our wee dog (Rosie) and the welcome we received was lovely. Such lovely friendly people, they made us so - The character of this old building and the history the owners shared with us. Bedroom for us was perfect, bright, airy and spotlessly clean and a small balcony with a nice outlook. Really comfy bed also. Nothing.
- Rickt (6/5): - N/A Peaceful
- Blick (10/5): - The lady and her husband went above and beyond to help us. Such a lovely atmosphere and so chilled and relaxed! Breakfast was amazing for the price!!
- Adrian (8/5): -
- Jean (8/5): -
- Thomas (7/5): -
- Paul (4/5): -
- Richard (9/5): Very enjoyable and laid back - It’s nice and clean and the staff are really friendly It was a fair walk to the tram stop, which isn’t a problem for someone who doesn’t have disabilities, but my husband and myself are not good with our legs lol
- Mike (10/5): Fantastic place to stay very clean amd the owners are lovely people. Defo reccomend - Breakfast was lovely and very plentiful Nothing
- Nichola (9/5): Excellent value for money. Great Location. Wonderful staff. Would definitely go again. - The quiet location and the fact that a tram stop was very close by. There is no lift and the staircases are quite narrow and steep so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with mobility issues.
- Rachel (8/5): -
- Lenton (10/5): -
- Paul (10/5): - Very friendly staff
Really nice to relax when you have a dog
No pressure about dogs
- Philomena (3/5): Could have been a lot better. - The owner was friendly, place was clean.
Light bulb in bathroom blew the lights, bulb was changed and electric restored in 10 mins. Attitude of barman on the Saturday night, quite confrontational and very unhelpful along with 2 friends he was with. There is a time and a place to discuss the benefits or pitfalls of covid and their vaccines. It isn't as a representative of the hotel, we went to bed feeling quite intimidated.
The smell of the bedroom on arrival was like a sewer, we went out and left the window open, mentioned to the owner who suggested if it was still there on our return we could switch rooms. The smell had disappeared when we returned.
Hotel is very dated.
- Micheale (6/5): Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. - We haven't had breakfast at the hotel. location is within a walking distance from south beach. However, you definitely need transport to get to the tower or central pier. The building is too old I wouldn't recommend it to someone with a new baby born or little babies.
- Andrew (8/5): -
- Shepherd (9/5): -
