• Kara (10/5): Comfortable apartment in a perfect central location - We were in the upstairs apartment, which was very comfortable and cozy. We had all we needed and were just steps away from the main shopping/commercial street as well as a bus station that was handy when I wanted to go pick up our rental car. It was so convenient to be able to explorer the city and still pop back into the apartment quickly if we needed anything. No complaints at all.

• Wendy (10/5): Fantastische locatie! - Fantastische locatie midden in het centrum van Reykjavik met gratis parkeerplaats. Wij sliepen er maar 1 nacht maar we hebben genoten van de ruime slaapkamers en de goede bedden. Douche was krachtig (en nodig met ons vertrek om 04:30 😬) en we zouden het zo weer boeken! De vloeren van het huis kraken een beetje, maar dit hoort bij de charme van dit huis.

• Robert (8/5): Nice location in downtown Reykjavik with parking - It was a great downtown location in Reykjavik with parking which was helpful. It had most of the major amenities that we needed for our stay. Most of the major items in downtown were walking distance which was helpful for family to explore. The walking of the people on the 2nd floor could be heard through the ceiling unfortunately.

• Jenny (8/5): Praktiskt boende nära det mesta i Reykjavik - Läget var centralt och nära det finaste området i stan, det var rent och snyggt, jättesköna sängar och nästan allt som behövdes fanns. Tv:n hade fel fjärrkontroll så det gick inte att koppla den till en dator för att se på film. Vi saknade också att det inte fanns diskmaskin.

• Denise (9/5): - Great location and warm. Everything was in walking distance Stairs going up were a bit too steep and exposed. Not great for older people or someone with mobility issues. A barrier at the top would be handy. Would have liked the TV to have some better stations like Netflix etc
• Paul (8/5): Excellent for a short stay visit to the city. - Location was good for walking access to city centre, restaurants and shops. We were able to park off the road behind the apartment but parking for a second car (for the other apartment) would have been tricky, so we were lucky there was no other car there. Very clean and well resourced. The staircase up to our apartment was extremely steep with narrow steps so needed care. At the top, there was nothing to prevent falling from the exposed side - not a problem for adults, although we did put up a makeshift barrier for the night when visiting bathroom in the dark - but children would need careful supervision.

Would stay there again! - Hosts would do well, especially when renting to international guests, to include images to guide guests in using the particular lock box in use at the site. I had to call the host and figure out how to expose the keypad for use. The apartment itself was lovely, clean, comfortable and well-located. The parking space was a bit difficult to use and narrow, requiring backing out into traffic without being able to see oncoming traffic. Only the parking space was a bit difficult to use. Not a reflection on the apartment, jusr what space was available.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the place had its own special charm. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy our time. • beril (6/5): - location and there is a free car parking For an apartment for six people, there is only one toilet, which is very small and quite cold. The kitchen is also very small and does not have a dishwasher. The house is two-story, and the upper floor is also rented out. However, the walls have very poor sound insulation—you can even hear conversations from upstairs, and when someone walks on the upper floor, the lower floor actually shakes.

• Veronica (9/5): Fully recommend this property! It was in an amazing location and just right for our stay. - Close to everything! Amazing beds and had just enough to enjoy a few meals at the house to save some money. Only downside was a very small corner shower.

The hosts were informative and accessible for any questions. The apartment even though was basic had everything you needed and was spotless. The host even came and provided clean towels and cleaned . Could have had an extra pillow as only had 1 each.

• Brice (9/5): Great place to stay, great host(s) - they were super pleasant to interact with, I highly recommend! - Excellent location, a block away from the main shopping district and minutes from everything else in Reykjavic. Parking behind the apartment made it even more worthwhile since we rented a car to travel around. Was very effective for a family of 6! Bonus points for being super warm in the middle of the Icelandic winter. We were in the downstairs apartment, which created some issues with noise coming from the upstairs apartment (the stairs to the upstairs apartment go over the bathroom). There's also only 1 bathroom, which can be tricky.

• Catherine (10/5): Perfect apartment, we would definitely return - Fantastic ground floor apartment, it had everything we needed for a brilliant stay. Lovely and cosy, yet not fussy, the apartment was so welcoming, and the provided slippers were a big bonus for walking on the gorgeous wooden floors. Don’t worry about it being chilly - it was so warm in all the rooms, perfect when it’s cold outside. The beds were so comfy and everything was spotlessly clean. The location couldn’t be better, handy for shops, cafes, attractions and waterfront. Even though the rooms were large, there was no room for any sofas, so we all had to gather around the dining table on the evening. However this had the advantage of us playing games and puzzles, so not all bad. A Bluetooth speaker in the kitchen diner would be useful as both bathrooms lead off, so you could hear people using the toilet!

• Kerry (10/5): The perfect accommodation and location! - We loved staying at the Old Charm Reykjavik Apartment. The apartment was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was also the perfect location for us. Steinunn provided all the information needed to easily locate and access the apartment, and also checked in on us during our stay, to make sure we were ok. If I have the chance to return to Iceland, I will definitely stay here again. We even saw the northern lights from the balcony!
