Despite being a busy building in a lively area, it was very quiet at night. Easy access to subway stations, lots of cafes, restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Very pleasant and helpful staff available in the office on site and with clear and useful information in the Sonder app. This was our second stay with Sonder and will definitely stay with them again.. • Glennon (8/5): Better than a hotel room for a longer stay. - I loved the location so close to the T, and having a supermarket across the road and a wine shop next door was a bonus. Plenty of restaurants close by too. The room itself and the facilities were fantastic. I was there 8 nights and it was so much better than a hotel room for a long stay. I made great use of the washer and dryer and also loved having a dishwasher. There was one big downside depending on your perspective and that was that the blinds are not blackout but screens only and so allow significant light through all night. I found wearing an eye mask uncomfortable so it was a big problem for me but may not bother others.

• Amanda (9/5): Top stay - The room was extremely modern and great space for 5 days. Super clean and had amenities provided. Having a washing machine is brilliant and they provide pods when needed. There is a target and supermarket around the corner and plenty of food options. We liked that the area was clean and felt extremely safe. Sofa was super comfy. The floors were not very clean. Would like to have had a floor mop available in the apartment and a vacuum cleaner rather than needing to request assistance. There were switches on the walls that had no purpose and the air conditioner was super loud.
• O'Farrell (9/5): Beautiful location, great staff, excellent room! - Beautiful apartment and great facilities (the kitchen was incredible!). The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. The views were stunning and the TV was brilliant too (a smart TV so you could link up your own streaming services and it even auto logs your details out at the end of your stay which is a great feature too!). The staff we spoke to were all super friendly and helpful and really made our stay in Boston that extra bit special. Extra shout out to Kelly who was very helpful in organising a hotel transfer back to the airport for us at the end of the stay! The ONLY criticism I can offer is that the sofa could’ve been a little bit more comfortable as it wasn’t the easiest to relax on but it still didn’t affect us enough to warrant a complaint.

Reception refused to deal with this because I was in an apartment separate from whatever reception was. Still haven't figured it out. Had to go to a different office which only opened at 10am. Really. How difficult? Upon booking, I was advised I'd receive access details 3 days in advance. Good because I am elderly, travelling alone and was arriving from NZ, late at night. Day of departure, no communication. I emailed. Reply - oh, when we changed ownership that changed to 24 hours. I was not advised of this. No internet on the flight. I departed ahead of US time. You do the maths! Not good enough. Luckily it turned out that there was 24 hour reception.

• Suzy (9/5): Stylist apartments near Fenway - We’ve stayed in Boston several times before, usually downtown near Boston Common. This time, for the first time, we chose a Sonder in the Fenway neighborhood—and it turned out to be a great choice. The location was excellent: a safe area with plenty of restaurants, a food hall just across the street, and supermarkets only steps away. The apartment itself was stylish and comfortable, with a modern design, a full-size kitchen, and an in-unit washer and dryer—very convenient for a week-long stay. The reception on the ground floor was always accessible, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The Sonder desk on the 11th floor, however, is only open from 10 AM to 6 PM - No safe in the apartment - The bedroom blinds did not block out the light, making the room quite bright throughout the night - The kitchen could have been better equipped (only two pots, and oddly, just one teaspoon). - More sets of towels would have been more convenient
• Martin (7/5): See above - The location is excellent: easy access to the metro/subway which gave us access to the whole city and surrounds; easy access to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the baseball park and other places of interest. The rooms were a very good size and the view from our window was good There was not a chest of drawers to hold our clothes. There was only a shelf above the hanging rack but the shelf was too high for my wife. We did ask for a chest of drawers but this was not possible. My wife and I were with you for 6 nights and "working out" of our luggage was far from ideal. Switching the bedroom lights on was problematic. The cutlery could only be described as cheap and nasty. In short little or no effort had been put into finishing the apartment properly: a truly great apartment was badly let down by how it had been finished.

• VALERIE (4/5): Décevant : emplacement à Fenway loin de Boston, pas de parking avec le logement très pénalisant - La vue du 13ème étage. La salle de jeux au 18ème étage avec les 2 flippers. Le Star Market en bas du Sonder. Voici les seuls Ingrédiens mis à disposition pour cuisiner : sel, poivre, café et filtres, thé, tisane, sopalin,. Le quartier de Fenway est loin du centre de Boston et n'est pas vraiment typique. Aucun parking n'est attaché au logement Sonder; se garer à Boston relève du défi pour comprendre les panneaux ! Une journée de parking à Fenway coûte 50$ mais attention pendant les "Events" matchs des Red Sox qui sont très fréquents les parkings sont encore plus élevés. Le Sonder n'offre pas la possibilité d'utiliser la piscine (réservée aux propriétaires), malgré le prix de la chambre 320€ par nuit. Nous avons été déçus par la taille de la chambre par rapport aux photos, le lit à baldaquin n'est pas pertinent et donne l'impression d'une chambre petite. La cuisine n'est pas bien équipéee : lave-vaisselle pas efficace au bout de 3h la vaisselle doit être essuyée, pour cuisiner une seule casserole et une poêle.

Woke up to a bright sky at sunrise. Terribly uncomfortable stools at the kitchen counter and the small couch was not much further behind. I've stayed in nicer hotels for a lot less. For the money spent I expected a LOT more comfort.

We arrived after midnight & to our relief the front desk was manned 24 hours & that person gave you your room key. You do receive an email advising you your room 24 hours before arrival. This was a fully equipped apartment, had everything. Very modern kitchen you could cook a banquet in this kitchen. Had full sized fridge, , dishwasher, washing machine, dryer & a nice dinning & lounge area. There was lots of space, place was spotles. Bedroom was large, great bed & pillows, lots of storage for clothes. Bathroom was very modern spotless, apleasure to use. Felt like a home, not a hotel, you could comfortably stay here for a long period of time. Great value for money. I would definatley stay here again when next in Boston. Minor issue, air conditioning was good, but a bit loud.

We hope the elevator maintanence can be done well. The elevator service sucks in the morning. We were notified once that the elevator was out of service once by email and then the next morning at 7:50 am, it was not in service again. This time was urgent for us to head for the train station.

The only issue we had was that the shades in the room were sheer—good coverage for privacy, but the room was never dark. Between the city lights and the early rising sun, the room remained somewhat illuminated at all times.

Time Out market is just across the street which, on a Summer's evening, is lovely. The 'T' is also within a 5 minute walk and if you are catching an Uber costs about $13 to Newbury Street. Boston has lots of things to do and is a walkable and, quite honestly, very safe city, would highly recommend. The location is also perfect if you are attending a game at Fenwick Park, it's about 7 minutes walk. The apartment is roomy and had everything we needed, including washing machine and dryer. The bed was an emperor and had a great walk in wardrobe; staying at this accommodation was similar to that of a hotel and, in my opinion, much better given the space. So, whilst the location was excellent it was also very noisy. Between street cleaning and horns honky all night, but it is a city location so I suppose that's going to be part of the experience. My biggest issue with the apartment was the blinds/ window dressings - totally inadequate, if you intend to stay take a sleep mask and ear plugs with you, otherwise you will be awake as soon as the sun comes up. The pillows are also a let down, so soft that you could suffocate in them. Again, it could be personal preference.

• Virginia (4/5): - I reported the smoke detector battery was chirping on a Saturday afternoon about 4 pm. The battery chirped all evening and through the night. I was told there was no maintenance person on site to repair this. I was very unhappy with the lack of response. I was unable to change the battery on my own as no access to the ceiling. Have not heard back from company. Very disappointed. Cannot recommend. I also felt that there should have been room darkening shades as unable to sleep past 6 am with the light shades on windows.

• Leigh (10/5): Amazing condo with views, close to Fenway, shopping and restaurants - The location of this property is perfect. It is close to the "T", it is a five minute walk to Fenway Park, one minute walk to Target and another grocery store, as well as Starbucks, and many restaurants! The unit itself was incredible - literally a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo with full kitchen on the 13th floor. Washer and dryer in the unit was a great help for our week long stay. Both beds were king beds. Communication through the chat feature on Sonder's app was extremely frustrating. The app was not showing my reservation and caused a 90 minute delay leaving the airport due to not having the address. Very, very frustrating to not be able to instantly talk to a human being. Watching TV, requesting cleanings (I did not use this feature), etc., is all done through the app. Not super crazy about that.

Hard surface floors rather than carpet 1.Losing my verification information, including my drivers license information, clearing my account of all information, then claiming I didn't have an account after I had jumped through every hoop 5 months prior until I provided proof you emailed me about my account. 2.Dismissive about my concerns of you losing my information and requiring it again, only to be told if I didn't, I wouldn't receive check-in information was very upsetting as I had paid 5 months previous, my trip was only a few weeks away and I had spent thousands that was now at risk. 3. The area rug and chairs were stained. 4. Dirty floor (walked across it bare footed, and there was dirt and crude sticking to my feet). 5. The pitch in the shower isn't steep enough for water to drain timely, resulting in water everywhere. 6. There is very tight counter space in the bathroom. 7. The situation of the front desk not being a part of the group you deal with, having to go to a room on a certain floor is odd and each time I had to ring the bell and wait until they came from another floor. 8. If you're going to associate yourself with the Marriott name and charge Premium prices, I expect the same level of service.

• Amber (8/5): Perfect location for apartment style accommodation in Boston - Located perfectly in Fenway - short drive to downtown Boston or comfortable walk to Newbury St. Close to amenities like supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants and bars. Loved having kitchen and laundry facilities to use over a week long stay. The property itself was great - the cost was exorbitant but that seems to be all of Boston.
• Mae (6/5): Service needs improvement - The location was walking distance to a subway station and there was a supermarket across the street. The room was clean, spacious and had a good view from the 12th floor. The chat on the Sonder app was responsive and tried their best to answer my queries but the service wasn't up to expectations. It was listed that there will be free toiletries. Shampoo, conditioner and body lotion was provided in the bathroom. There was no body wash nor soap provided. I requested for body wash and was told it was out of stock. After 2 days, I asked again and was told body wash is not provided. I found this strange as all hotels (including other Sonders) I have been to always provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash as a set. So please bring your own body wash if you are staying here. I requested for a kitchen towel roll as there wasn't one in the kitchen. They said they were out of stock. I stayed there for 4 nights and never got the kitchen roll which they said they will provide. The water flow from the bathroom sink tap was trickling so we asked if it could be adjusted. The maintenance guy came 2 days later. He adjusted it but the flow became too large and wet the whole sink area. There wasn't a medium flow fix. The fridge was noisy too. The service level needs improvement. Basically you are left on your own with whatever is provided or not provided.
