wahlsmith (8/5): - What staff we did encounter was very respectful and helpful. The facility was nice. But I do have some complaints about room 903. There's no cold water in the kitchen faucet, the shower is like pouring a cup of water on you, there's only a little TV in the living room, never pulled it out but one of the couches were messed up. But all in all we had a good time. That place is for the young people though.

Karen (2/5): Disappointed...Do not use these apartments with Roami or the new management team ... - The location to the main areas of New Orleans was fabulous just a short walk from Canal Street Despite many emails requesting access instructions ,i was informed i wpuld have 24 hrs prior .. No i didn't...then I received a phishing email with a link deleted when I replied they insisted they'd sent a link .. Poor communication created an inability to gain access after a long haul flight in a strange city .Without the generosity of both the security guard and a guest staying in the block we would have been without a place to stay the first night . Customer services on that night were very rude telling me i had received instructions ...can you imagine the stress after 3 flights , a time difference of 8hrs so our bodies thought it was 4am .. The acrid smell in the foyer and hallways every day was awful. Washing machine and tumble dryer clearly flooding before we arrived as towels had been placed underneath the appliances , as I was staying in the apartment for 2 weeks this was a main reason I'd chosen the apartment and despite emailing customer services and promised that maintenance would come ,they never did , a new room was offered but without a sofa ,1 week in but as they assured me it would be mended and we'd unpacked we decided to stay ...We had to put up with a puddle of water in the lounge and dirty smelly towels on the floor . We stayed 2 weeks no spare bedding to change the bed , no spare towels and no way to wash them ! The bed was unbelievably noisy when one person turned or got out . The bath felt spongy and unsafe under your feet when taking a shower . The apartment was very tired and needs tlc The ceiling fans had not been cleaned and were covered in dead flies . 2 weeks of rubbish also accumulated and no instructions of how to dispose . Glenn (9/5): Great centrally located hotel with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Very pleasant. - Rooftop pool, comfortable room, cooking facilities and kitchen essentials, great location, good bathroom, quiet at night. The area nearby felt a little sketchy late at night.

Ishai (5/5): מיקום מצויין-הדירה פחות - מיקום הדירה מצויין התארחתי בדירה הזו בסוף השבוע האחרון. הדירה ממוקמת בבניין דירות רב-קומות במיקום פנטסטי – וזהו ללא ספק היתרון הגדול ביותר שלה. עם זאת, החוויה הכללית הייתה בינונית מאוד בשל כשלים טכניים וריחות לא נעימים. הכניסה והשירות-התקשורת עם חברת האחזקה הייתה טובה ברמת המענה, אך התפעול לוקה בחסר. בעיית הקוד: בערב ההגעה לא נשלח אליי קוד כניסה, מה שאילץ אותי להמתין מחוץ לדלת בלילה. לאורך כל סוף השבוע היו תקלות חוזרות עם קוד הכניסה ונתקעתי מחוץ לדירה מספר פעמים. אמנם קיבלתי סיוע בסופו של דבר, אך זה פגע משמעותית בתחושת הביטחון והנוחות. בכניסה לבניין היו ריחות לא נעימים בחלק מהזמן, ובמסדרונות המובילים לדירה הריח היה רע באופן קבוע. הדירה עצמה ניראת מיושנת והעיצוב לא כל כך מזמין. המטבח: מאובזר היטב עם מקרר, מיקרוגל, תנור ומדיח כלים. ישנה מכונת קפה עם ערכת אירוח בסיסית ומשטחי עבודה רחבים. הסלון קטן אך מספק בהחלט למי שרוצה לשבת ולראות טלויזיה. בסלון חלונות גדולים המספקים הרבה אור טבעי (עם תריסי שלבים לשליטה בפרטיות). חדר השינה והרחצה: המיטה גדולה והחדר כולל וילונות האפלה כבדים ולא מעוצבים. המיטה חורקת והרגליות שלה לא כל כך מחוזקות. ממליץ להחליף את המיטה. המזרון עצמו, היה בסדר. חדר הרחצה מרווח כולל מקלחון זכוכית נקי, אך עיצוב הארונות מעט מיושן. ישנה יחידת כביסה (מכונה ומייבש בתוך הדירה) וחדר ארונות הכולל קרש גיהוץ. לסיכום: מיקום מצויין אך כל השאר טעון שיפור.

David (1/5): Will not be staying with Raomi again unless there is compensation for this disturbing stay. - The rooftop pool and location It was not clean, there were no linens for the sofa bed and there was no sofa bed as advertised in one room and one of the locks was broken
Ben (8/5): Great Units in Good Location - The unit itself was fantastic, had everything could want (nice bedroom, good lounge room, fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom, closet and laundry). Internet was good and was in a good location to walk into the city and lots of food places and shops close by. I had some problems (code to get into the unit and toilet issue) and both were dealt with super quickly through the booking.com chat feature (enabling the code, fixing the toilet and then moving rooms when problem persisted). The code for unit didn't work on arrival (seems to be a common issue) but they rectified it immediately (even in the middle of the night) through the booking.com chat as I didn't have roaming enabled. Also had a toilet issue but they fixed it straight away the first time and then moved rooms when it happened a second time - so customer service and responsive was first class.

Amy (5/5): Comfy bed & clean apartment in a great location but a run down building - The location was great- walking distance to French Quarter and it was easy to check in and out. For the most part the apartment was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The building in general is a little worn and unkempt. The lobby and elevator are quite musty and the apartment has some chipped paint and broken fixtures - looks nothing like the pictures. The proximity to the busy part of town means it can be noisy at night but that’s to be expected. When we walked up to the building we were a little disappointed in the run down look but once we got into the apartment and it was clean and comfy and we enjoyed the close proximity to everything.

The hotel lobby smelled extremely bad, and the hallways smelled like rotten fish. The building could use some renovations to make it seem not so run down. There was only 1 out of the 5 elevators working.

The crew was unresponsive in the moment. We paid for the 3-person stay, and the third person didn’t have available clean bed sheets and extra pillows.

Cuenta con lavarropa y secarropa y la cocina esta bien equipada No tenían registrada nuestra reserva y no había ninguna persona para guiarnos en el ingreso. Tuvimos que comunicarnos a un teléfono y el recepcionista no hablaba español. Perdimos dos horas para solucionar el problema. Pasamos un muy mal momento.

No linens on the pull-out couch and no extra linens in the room at all. Mattress on pull out couch had blood and urine stains on it.

Christiane (4/5): Es war schön in NOLA, jedoch hätten die Vorkommniss, die ich oben geschildert habe, nicht sein dürfe - Gefallen hat mir die Lage! Und, nachdem ich die dunklen Vorhänge zurückgebunden habe, die Helligkeit des Zimmers, um die ich gebeten hatte. Und die gemütliche Dachterrasse mit dem Pool und Grillmöglichkeit an warmen Tagen! Und die gut funktionierenden Aufzüge! Und die Freundlichkeit des Secret Service, der mir leider nict weiterhelfen konnte. Nicht gefallen hat mir, dass der Schlüsselcode nicht funktioniert hat, ich am Ankunftsabend nach vielstündigem Flug gar nicht in das Zimmer hineinkam und nach endlich erfolgtem Einlass die Heizung (Klimaanlage) nur kalt blies. Im Fußboden waren Löcher durch fehlende Holzpaneele, was mich als alte Frau leicht zum Stolpern bringt, und die Waschmaschine funktionierte nicht. Sie wusch zwar lautstark eineinhalb Stunden durch, jedoch ohne Wasser! Da an der Situation vom Gastgeber nichts geändert wurde, musste ich 17 Tage mit zwei Handtüchern, kleiner als ein Badehandtuch, auskommen. Und der Witz war: In der Waschmaschine befanden sich gebrauchte Handtücher, wohl von den Vormietern. Diese ließ ich natürlich in der Maschine, um sie mit meinen beiden gemeinsam zu waschen. Fazit: Nach der Wäsche ohne Wasser konnte ich meine beiden Tücher nicht wiedererkennen und musste mich nun abtrocknen mit Handtüchern, die vielleicht schon von anderen Gästen benutzt wurden. Das war sehr unangenehm! Dem Gastgeber ist auch nicht eingefallen, mir wegen Ausfalls der Waschmaschine neue Hand- und auch Bettücher zukommen zu lassen. Bezüglich der Waschmaschinen- und Klimaanlagenreparatur gab ich ihm Erlaubnis, dass Fachleute den Raum ohne meine Anwesenheit betreten dürften, denn ich hatte keine Lust, meine Zeit in New Orleans durch Warten auf Mechaniker zu verbringen. Das mit der Klimaanlage ging in Ordnung, da kam sogar jemand, als ich im Zimmer war. Das mit der Waschmaschine leider nicht. Ansonsten muss ich als 73-jährige Frau mit wenig Englischkenntnissen diejenigen warnen, die wie ich dran sind: Es geht alles nur über Handy und Internet. Menschen sind persönlich außen vor! Derjenige, der wie ich die Sprache nicht restlos verstehen kann, ist hilflos. Ich hatte Glück: Drei junge Männer halfen mir bei den Telefonaten wegen des nicht funktionierenden Einlasscodes am Ankunftstag. Ich habe aber für die Hilfe gezahlt.

I enjoyed the ease of not dealing with cards and keys etc, having in room washers and dryers and a large tub No tub stoppers, large tub but no baths. No hot water in the bathroom sink. In the shower yes. Bathroom was dirty, attached garage not affiliated but easy. However maintenance just LET THEMSELVES INTO MY ROOM AFTER TELLING THEM NO TO COMING IN. I was alone and naked and vulnerable and THIS MAN JUST LET HIMSELF IN WITH A CODE TO MY ROOM. When I let the staff know, I was met with “sorry for an inconvenience”. I’m appalled, frightened and disappointed by how the team handled the situation.

Britta (3/5): Für mich nicht nochmal. - Die Unterkunft ist zentral gelegen und sehr geräumig. Der Check-in Prozess ist ein Alptraum. Ohne die Hilfe einer Mitarbeiterin eines benachbarten Unternehmens, die sich über eine halbe Stunde Zeit genommen hat um mir zu helfen und wiederholt die Festnetzhotline angerufen hat, wäre ich niemals in das Zimmer gekommen. Das Zimmer war dann zunächst sehr dreckig (diverse Körperbehaarung und weiter Rückstände im Bad, klebriges Material auf dem Sofa, verschmutze Oberflächen in der Küche und siffiger Boden mit diversem Dreck). Nach mehrfacher Beschwerde wurde das Zimmer nachgereinigt. Weiter führen die Flutlichter des Parkhauses gegenüber dazu, dass es auch Nachts sehr hell ist.
Courtney (1/5): Great location but just not worth it. - Location It reeked of urine, only one working elevator, lax security, first room had clearly broken into, and second room had blood on the wall and floors. Cleaners left the floors slick/sticky.

Used condoms on hand rails, broken bed, urine in hallways, wrong access codes provided with you having to call an international number to get the correct one. And I got multiple scam WhatsApp messages about my stay so their website and data is clearly not secure. It’s an Airbnb not a hotel.

Die Ausstattung mit alltäglichen Dingen ist sehr spärlich. Es gibt keine Ansprechperson bei Fragen oder sie haben keine Ahnung. Das Einchecken war sehr mühsam trotz wiederholten Infos.
Christine (5/5): Roami is not a hotel - Location is good. On edge of French Quarter. 4 mins from Canal St. 5 mins Bourbon St, 10 mins Jackson Sq. We were 4 retired Brits and booked a 2 bed 2 bath apartment. The apartment was a good size. Beds comfortable. Full kitchen, washer & dryer, towels & toiletries provided. There was a dreadful, disgusting smell in the public areas, including the lift. Our apartment 1200 was fine, though. There is no reception, no staff. It's self check in, and we had a problem, so had to phone a US no. Eventually got through and got into our apartment. There were no glasses, so sent a request for some, every day for 4 days without success. On our last day, we got the glasses! There is no bar, cafe or shop on the premises. There are a couple of restaurants nearby. It is a different concept to hotels.

Natalie (8/5): Great location for exploring New Orleans. - Fantastic location - walkable to a lot of the tourist sights. Quiet at night considering the downtown location - just the odd siren which you can't escape in a city. Rooftop swimming pool was a bonus. We got given the wrong code and had to ring up, which was sorted quickly over the phone, but a worry when jet lagged and late at night. The cupboards are barely stocked - could do with more cutlery, sponges, attention to detail.

Depois de muita dificuldade, e-mails e mensagens, o anfitrião se mostrou solícito e atendeu às minhas reclamações e sugestões. Apesar de não ter usado, a academia é bem montada e deve agradar quem quiser usar. A piscina realmente é bem menor do que parece nas fotos, mas não é um problema. As instruções para entrar foram desabilitadas quando aterrissei em News Orleans e não conseguia fazer contato com o anfitrião. Eles não respondem pelo Booking e as instruções (inclusive do endereço exato da acomodação) são feitas fora da plataforma contratada, o que pra mim é inaceitável, já que não fica registro. O tempo de retorno, principalmente no momento da chegada, é longo. Não era possível completar a ligação e precisei fazer contato pelo celular do motorista do Uber pra conseguir entrar na acomodação. Cheguei num sábado à noite e o prédio, assim como a cidade, estava lotado. O elevador estava sujo e fedia, os corredores estavam com mau cheiro e alguns dos utensílios dentro do quarto estavam inutilizáveis. Apesar de ter 5 elevadores, somente 2 funcionam, o que gera uma demora, pois o prédio é enorme. Há algum problema no box do banheiro que a água vaza. Existem muitos moradores de rua e usuários de drogas ao redor, mas acredito que seja um problema da cidade inteira.
Jake (1/5): Left stranded in the middle of the night - I won't bother, as until they improve their customer service I couldn't recommend staying here. This was the worst customer service experience I've had in a long time. If you are arriving late, I do not recommend staying here. We arrived after midnight and got into the lobby fine using the automated self-checkin instructions, however the electronic door code provided for the apartment door was incorrect. We called and messaged the "24 hour" support number for nearly 2 hours without a response. The call repeatedly dropped out when told to "stay on the line" and our voicemails were never answered. Effectively we were stranded in the corridor of a less-than-friendly apartment block until after 2am. Once they finally did respond by text and provide the correct code, the service since has been non-existent, repeatedly ignoring or dodging our request for a refund for the expenses we incurred in booking alternative last minute accommodation. A truly horrible experience and I will not book with Roami again.

Richard (10/5): - Prime location. Stayed there 4 weeks, different suite every 2 weeks. The suite facing O Keefe Ave was noisy at times with the sirens blaring from fire, police, etc, at 9 floors above ground. The other suite I had looked toward the east, toward the NOLA slyline, was quieter, was 11 floors high above the street. First time ever I experienced contactless check-in, check-out, had no major problems. Stylish spaces, looks larger than it is, and the home amenities allowed me to cook good food.

Had to contact multiple times to gain the entrance code to my room, and the contact number provided on the site was incorrect. The room itself had mold above the air conditioning vent and all windows were sealed shut and unable to open. WiFi was also not working in the building.

The apartment was clean but the sheets were stained. I couldn’t use the pool during my stay because it was closed for cleaning for a full day and the next day when I tried to use it it had a kind of foam floating on top, it smelled like a lot of chlorine and the water was really cloudy, I didn’t want to put my body on it, and the pool was the main reason I booked the property
