• Julian (9/5): Convenient, comfortable and reasonable. - We accidentally locked our keys in the apartment and Bjorg was extremely prompt in resolving our crisis. Good restaurants were close and it was an easy (short) walk to a bustling street. A bus stop was a block away. All good but if I have to complain, there wasn't any sugar. That's the worst.
• Kersten (10/5): An extremely comfortable stay in a great location with responsive hosts and good facilities. - The location was excellent, very close walking distance to Hallgrímskirkja, the rainbow street, multiple excellent bakeries, a Bonús, Viking Pylsur (hot dogs!) and Turf House (Soup! Lamb burgers!) and Laugavegur shopping street. The neighborhood has an artier vibe than the downtown and the apartment itself was really cute and comfortable. Excellent water pressure, adjustable shower head for tall folks, large enough for us plus size guests. The bed is two twins pushed together to make a king as is common in Europe, but it was not a problem for us. All the linens were comfortable and there were extras available. Small but serviceable dishwasher in the kitchen and access to storage, extra towels, and washer dryer in the basement. The fridge is not stocked but there are some pantry staples so you don't need to buy basic seasonings and cooking oil. We had the loft apartment on the top floor, which had a gorgeous view of the sea to the north and saw the northern lights multiple times during our stay. The top of Hallgrímskirkja is visible to the south, and we could hear the bells for the time (only during the daytime). The street was reasonably quiet even on a busy Saturday night. The host was wonderfully responsive and provides a little packet of neighborhood information that's very useful. Our stay was so nice I almost want to keep it as a secret. :) Nothing we didn't like! It was lovely. It is up 2.5 flights of stairs though with no elevator. There is also a stone step down from the street. That was fine for us, but it's useful to take note.

• Siegfried (9/5): Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt und wir würden die Wohnung weiterempfehlen. - Die Lage war sehr zentral, so dass man alles gut zu Fuß erreichen konnte. Die ganze Wohnung war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet und der Blick vom Balkon auf den Hafen war ein Traum. Und man hat problemlos einen Parkplatz in den umliegenden Straßen gefunden. Allerdings variieren die Preise stark, so dass sich ein Vergleich lohnt. Das Badezimmerfenster war defekt, so dass man es nicht optimal öffnen und schließen konnte. In einem Schlafzimmer war das Rollo defekt, so dass man es nach dem Herunterziehen nur beschwerlich wieder hochziehen konnte. Da wir dort eh nur geschlafen haben, haben wir es einfach unten gelassen.

• Kristin (9/5): - Die Lage ist perfekt, wir haben das Auto die zwei Tage nicht bewegt, das Parken war auch einfach möglich. Die Wohnung ist stilvoll eingerichtet, ein Bett war super bequem, eins ok. Haus und Wohnung sind ansonsten eher einfach. Guter Blick aus dem Fenster auf den Fjord. Der Preis ist hoch, aber wohl der tollen Lage entsprechend nicht ungewöhnlich.
• Kathryn (10/5): Perfect stay in Reykjavik! - Wonderful place to stay in Reykjavik! We had apartment N on the top floor. It had a small deck with a view. The apartent is spacious, immaculate and has all the gadgets you could possible need, including a Nespresso maker. Its just a short walk to shopping eating and the Cathedral. Highly recommend :) Not a thing.

• Helen (10/5): Wonderful find! - Nest apartment “e” is homely, cosy and very clean. It’s also in a brilliant location just down from Hallgrimskirkja Church (which you can see from the bedrooms). There is also a pretty view of the mountains and sea. We stayed here at the start and end of our three week trip. Such a cute and classic Icelandic apartment.

The location is unbeatable—just one block from the iconic Hallgrímskirkja, with restaurants, shopping, and a Bonus grocery store all within easy walking distance. The apartment itself is divine: spacious, warm, and filled with natural light. It’s well-equipped with sufficient cookware for simple meals, and the toiletries provided were a nice touch. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely stay again on our next visit to Reykjavik.

• Sonja (9/5): Schöne Unterkunft im Herzen von Reykjavik - Besonders gut hat uns die Lage der Wohnung in der Stadt gefallen. Auch die Größe und die Ausstattung waren sehr ansprechend. Der Preis für die Übernachtung könnte günstiger sein. Aber in Island ist leider alles sehr teuer.

Spacious bedroom with comfy beds and tables on each side for electronics. Excellent well equipped kitchen, and wonderful shower in the modern bathroom. We loved our stay! Parking was a bit difficult to find along the street. There is an odor from the drains in the bathroom. We solved the problem by keeping the bathroom door closed and the windows open.

There were some mold issues in the corners of some of the rooms, but nothing extreme. The parking could be tricky in the evenings but we never had to park more than 2 blocks away.

• Jennifer (10/5): Feels like your own personal pied a tierre - This is a great location and the views from the kitchen and living room are lovely. The kitchen is well appointed with a good variety of cookware, which made making a few meals ourselves easy. The living room/dining room is compact but organized such that you can both eat a good meal and watch a movie from the couch easily. The guide the hosts put together about the area was a nice touch. The bedrooms are both comfortable and everything was spotless. When I couldn't figure out where the laundry facilities were, I messaged the hosts and they got right back to me. Best of all was the location - easy to step outside and get to things in downtown, great views of the main (iconic) church, and outside of the zone with the most expensive parking.

The beds were very comfortable, and it was easy to control the temperature in the unit. We cooked in the kitchen quite a bit, and it was nicely appointed. Overall, a lovely stay! I didn't get as much communication from the property as I would have expected. Also, I would have expected shampoo/conditioner/body was in the bathroom. There was shampoo but soap dispenser was broken.

Just a block or two from shopping, bus stops, restaurants. The apartment itself is so charming. We loved it and felt so comfortable. All the details were thought of. We loved the balcony and the view of the rooftops in the back. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back. I asked for a late check out and they were able to accommodate us. The pillows are past their prime and need to be replaced. The bed is on the hard side of firm, but that’s fine for us. Everything else was great. We also had the third floor apartment “N” which was a bit of a struggle to get all of our luggage up and down, but manageable.

Close to the drop off/pick up for the FlyBus, Hop on Hop Off and taxis. The balcony was a bonus for seeing the Aurora 3 of the 4 nights and the Imagine Peace beam. The owner was very helpful with recommendations. Braud and Co. Cinnamon buns are decadent and the Vitabar on the corner was convenient for a first night meal with the locals. The apartment had everything we needed and the bed/pillows were cosy. Nothing!
• Keith (9/5): Comfortable stay in a nice apartment in a fantastic location. - The apartment is located on the next street over from Hallgrimskirkja and so is within 5 minutes walk from the church and Bus stop #8 which makes is extremely convenient for tour pickups. It's also very close to an excellent bakery and within walking distance of the main streets. The apartment itself was nice and came fully equipped with kitchen, lounge and entertainment, plus 2 bedrooms. The temperature in the apartment was always cozy and all the amenities we needed were available. The balcony on the back is also great to have and, thanks to clear weather and a strong solar storm at the time, we were fortunate enough to be able to see the northern lights clearly from it on our last night. Our host, Bjorn, was a star and when we did contact him he was very courteous and helpful. There are no blinds or curtains on the bathroom windows nor the kitchen balcony double doors. In turn this creates privacy issues as the bathroom windows aren't fully frosted and as there is no door on the kitchen so your neighbours can see into the apartment from the back though the balcony doors.

Apartment had everything we required and worth climbing the stairs to the apartment at the top of the building as there is no lift. Would have appreciated some milk to use for tea when we first arrived before finding the supermarket.

Bed was very comfortable and apartment was immaculate. The shades in the bedroom windows didn’t do a very good job of blocking out the light at night.

Steps away from the local pool (Sundhöllin), excellent Brauð bakery just round the corner, plenty of shops, restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Comfortable bed, great shower, good choice of TV channels/Netflix + Bluetooth speaker for nights in. Being on the top floor we had an amazing view from the balcony and very little noise from the street (although the steep staircase would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues).

We were even able to see the Northern Lights from the apartment windows! We used the kitchen to make breakfast each day and found everything we needed easily. The shower had great water temperature and was powerful. We found the beds to be comfy and enjoyed the personal comforters so that each person could control their own need for blankets. The door code made it very easy to enter and the location is wonderful and close to all the downtown sites and shops. We would highly recommend to others coming to Reykjavik! The washer/dryer took a little longer than expected, but with the use of the drying rack in the apartment we were still able to get our clothes to dry in time for our departure.
