• Leila Liz (9/5): Bom local para dormir se estiver na região. - Limpo, cheiroso, muito bem decorado e iluminado, organizado, ótimas instalações! Fácil de encontrar e estacionamento na frente. Café da manhã arrumado e gostoso! Ouve-se o barulho dos outros quartos. Não encontramos local aberto para comer apesar da boa vontade de Giusepe em ajudar! Fica a sugestão para uma parceria com algum restaurante na área para abrir por uma hora ou duas quando tiverem hóspedes. Ou sugerirem algum delivery. Encontramos uma pizzaria e levamos para comer no quarto.

• Andrea (9/5): Soggiorno Top a Maratea - B&b alle porte del centro storico di Maratea (2 min a piedi), con stupenda vista panoramica su un tratto di costa. Possibilità di parcheggio in strada nelle strisce gialle sotto la struttura. Stanza moderna, molto pulita e accessoriata. La colazione è in autogestione nello spazio comune, a noi questa modalità è piaciuta molto. Un ringraziamento ancora alla host che è stata con noi super gentile e disponibile! Niente.

• Cristina (10/5): Soggiorno super rilassante - L’elenco delle cose che mi sono piaciute è infinito: posizione vicinissima al centro, parcheggio sotto alla struttura, camera pulita ogni giorno, frigo sempre provvisto di acqua, latte e yogurt, vista dalla finestra… potrei continuare 😊 Praticamente nulla.

• Claire (10/5): Exceptional - Small, comfortable rooms with nice views. Plenty of hot water in the shower and warm during winter. Very generous with breakfast and tea and coffee throughout the stay. A short walk to some restaurants. Just keep in mind if visiting in February a lot of shops and restaurants are closed. The walls between the rooms are a bit thin, you can hear other guests talking in their rooms.

• Donal (9/5): Very interesting and beautiful town, I will go again. - The hosts were extremely helpful. Most of the restaurants were closed because of the season, the host found one that was open and drove me there. Above and beyond expectations. The location is on the edge of the historic center and the link that was sent to get there routed me through the historic center. That got me stuck because of the very narrow streets and one way system. The host had to rescue me. Clearer arrival instructions would be better.

They greeted us and handed us a parking permit for a spot right in front of the property (on the street, we could see the car right under our room's window). The property is very clean and well organized. There are three units in this property sharing a common area designated as the breakfast space. Each room has its own bathroom, a fridge, and a bistro type table with two chairs. At least that's what we had in our room, the "Oscar Wilde" room. Milk, water, butter, yogurt were placed in the fridge in our room. We found lots of bathroom supplies. The property is very close to Maratea's downtown. Loved the fact that there are no city taxes after October 1! There are lots of stairs from the street level to the entrance in the house.

• Sebastien (9/5): Nice, tidy and straightforward. Easy to get to Maratea and little Jesus statue. - I had a great stay! Everything is tidy and well organised. Breakfast prepared per room, coffee and tea machine. They had a parking for my bicycle. The location is fantastic, with nice views and walking distance to the historical centre of Maratea (without many climbs). The croissants were a bit dry but, that's a detail.

• Stepan (10/5): Little gem in the hills - We enjoyed a warm welcome by the host who made sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The whole property was spotless clean and our room was comfortable with everything we needed for a short stay plus the amazing views. Unlike many BnBs we experienced in Italy there was an actual breakfast room with humble but nice variety and fresh croissants on top of that. Maratea is a little gem and La Giancarla BnB made our stay there perfect.

There were espresso machines and a lot of snacks provided in the public area. The room is comfortable and the bathroom is very clean. The breakfast only provided a croissant per person, everything else were prepackaged snacks on the shelf.

The B&B was a short walk from the centre of the old town of Maratea. Giuseppe was very helpful with advice and recommendations. There was nothing I didn't like. Just to note for anyone who hasn't previously visited Maratea, the old town is up the hill from the port and you need to drive to get there.

Giuseppe was very helpful with directions to the property and with steering us to the few restaurants that were still open during the low season. The breakfast was typical Italian with a croissant and fixings, with coffee, tee, and small snacks always available. I would definitely stay at this property again.

• Lesley (9/5): Great views and a tidy functional apartment. - We had great views, parking was easy, close by the old town and the room was well presented. Our breakfast preferences were accommodated. The only negative is that you could hear the occupants of the next room.
• J (8/5): Very good - Maratea is a very cute little hilltop town on the west coast. The host was really great and yummy croissants in the morning. It was a very small apartment that had 3 rooms. Our family took up 2 rooms and there was a different couple in the 3rd room. The other travellers were very noisy at night and it was very hard to sleep. Maybe the owners could write a short note to visitors that it would be respectful to be quiet at night in such a small apartment.
