• Patrick (8/5): Sehr schöne Unterkunft für 4 Personen, tolle Lage, ruhig. - Toll Lage. Schöner Innenhof in dem man gut Frühstücken oder Abendessen kann, auch für 4 Personen. Etwas anonyme Kommunikation mit der Vermieter-Agentur, bzw. nur chatbots. Aber beim Anruf wurde gut geholfen.

• Ayşin (2/5): Terrible Experience - Just the location I honestly don’t even know where to start. Everything went wrong from the moment we tried to check in to our property in Ortigia. We messaged the host before heading to the apartment,(from catania) as we had agreed in our last conversation that I would let her know our arrival time. I said we’d be checking in at 5 PM. We arrived at 4:40 PM and had been trying to reach the host throughout the journey (2 hours)— but got no response. It had started raining, and we were left standing in front of the door with our suitcases — and I’m pregnant! By pure luck, a couple staying next door saw us and tried to help. They contacted their own host, who then managed to reach ours. The host eventually showed up around 6 PM. We had waited for hours in the rain, and when we explained this to her, she didn’t even care. Once inside, we realized the internet didn’t work and there was no mobile signal either. If someone had tried to reach us, it would have been impossible. In 2025, experiencing something like this honestly felt like going 10 years back in time. They had a moka pot in the kitchen, so we bought coffee especially for it , only to find that the stove gave an error because the moka pot wasn’t compatible. Why even put it there then? Was I supposed to start a fire and brew coffee on it? Then we tried to use the filter coffee machine ,no filters. Not even a 50 cent item like that was available in the house… There was only one roll of toilet paper provided after that, nothing. For a 3-day trip, we had to buy a whole 12-pack.? Ridiculous… The apartment was freezing. It took an entire day to warm up. The bed was so fragile it creaked loudly with every movement it felt like a mini earthquake. When we first checked in, we inspected the bathroom and found it hadn’t been properly cleaned there were visible feces stains. But since the host didn’t seem to care about anything, we didn’t even bother reporting it.
