На завтрак нарезана колбаса лежит открыта вся в мошках, на следующий день прикрыли прозрачной крышкой, но почему то вместе с мошками, которые сидят на колбасе

The rain wet parts of the bed etc. It was actually dangerous! The roof requires immediate maintenance! Apart from that. all was fine :)

• 侑希 (10/5): 広々としたお部屋でゆっくり過ごせます！ - thomasさんの対応が素晴らしかったです！！！チェックイン、チェックアウトを対応して頂きました。thomasさんはチェックインの時は英語が分からない私達にゆっくりとした簡単な英語で対応してくれました。thomasさんはベトナム語と英語を喋れる人のようですが私達は英語が得意ではないので翻訳アプリを使いましたが嫌がる事なく、翻訳アプリで対応してくれたのでthomasさんが居れば翻訳アプリで基本の対話は大丈夫です。他のスタッフさんもドアを開けたり、荷物を部屋に持ってきてくれる方も笑顔で対応してくれます。お部屋もベットが大きめキャリーケースを広げても広々してます！帰りの飛行機が夜中だったのでチェックアウトは夜にしました。車もバイクも多い時間でしたがthomasさんのサポートのおかげで無事にタクシーに乗れました！thomasさんは日本語での挨拶を私達に聞いてみたりと努力をする人のようです！お部屋も他のホテルより広くて豪華な内装でした！エアコンもとても良く効きます！コンビニも2件近くに有りますし、シャワールームもガラスでの壁が有りますのでシャワーを使って便器が濡れることは有りません！ありがとうございました(≧∇≦*)

The place is spotless lovely comfy bed and fresh towels. I would definitely highly recommend. They also have a massuere called Queenie who will arrive in minutes to give you a great massage. Das Hotel ist extrem in die Jahre gekommen und der Zustand der Ausstattung ist schlichtweg marode. ​Zimmerzustand ​Unser ursprünglich gebuchtes Deluxe Doppelzimmer war eine Katastrophe: kaputte Fliesen, beschädigte Möbel und es war bei Ankunft nicht aufgeräumt. Nach einer sofortigen Reklamation erhielten wir ein anderes Zimmer, das zumindest „akzeptabel“ war. Dennoch entspricht die Einrichtung eher einem schwachen 2- bis 3-Sterne-Standard. ​Das Positive ​Dass ich überhaupt 6 (statt 4) Punkte vergebe, liegt einzig an folgenden zwei Faktoren: ​Lage: Unschlagbar zentral, alle Hauptsehenswürdigkeiten sind direkt erreichbar. ​Personal: Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, stets bemüht und hilfsbereit. ​Frühstück: Das Angebot ist in Ordnung. ​Fazit ​Wer Wert auf ein gepflegtes Hotel mit echtem 4-Sterne-Komfort legt, wird hier enttäuscht. Ohne den Bonus für das Personal und die Lage müsste man eigentlich noch zwei weitere Punkte abziehen. Wer sich auf die schönen Fotos verlässt, wird enttäuscht.

• Karl (1/5): One of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve had — badly maintained, far from 4-star standards - The entire staff was wonderful, but Thomas and the gentleman at the breakfast counter truly stood out. They were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. This hotel is absolutely nowhere near a 4-star standard —honestly, it doesn’t even deserve 3 stars. I genuinely do not understand how Booking.com classifies this property as a 4-star hotel, and I can only assume it’s because of misleading ratings and reviews. My stay here for 2 nights was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. The room was in terrible condition from the moment I entered. Broken walls, exposed wires hanging from the ceiling, cobwebs everywhere, stained bedding, damaged furniture — it honestly felt like the room had not been maintained for years. There was no proper blanket or comforter provided, making the room extremely cold and uncomfortable during the night. Even basic amenities were a problem. The safe locker was locked and unusable, and instead of fixing it beforehand, guests are expected to call reception and wait for someone to come open it. Completely inconvenient and unacceptable for a so-called 4-star hotel. The bathroom experience was equally frustrating. I was told to wait nearly 10 minutes for hot water, and even then, controlling the water temperature was almost impossible because the taps would suddenly become extremely hot. Everything in the room felt broken, outdated, or poorly maintained. The next day, I raised all these issues with reception. The lady at the desk offered not to charge me for one night, but I clearly told her that this was not about discounts or compensation. I wanted future travelers to know the reality of this place so they don’t end up disappointed like I was. It honestly felt like they were trying to avoid a negative review by offering discounts instead of actually fixing the problems. To be fair, I do not blame the staff personally, they were polite and trying their best but management seriously needs to renovate this hotel and stop marketing it as a 4-star property.

• Nombuso (5/5): Passable - The best thing about the hotel is the location. Within walking distance to almost every major attraction in old quarter and there is lots to do around. Friendly staff and they assisted us with baggage services and late checkout (an hour later). Poor facilities and cleanliness . There were spider webs and dust on the headboard and behind it. The sheets had a yellow tinge with stains on them. Definitely not ideal for a long term stay or if you plan to relax in the hotel instead of exploring the area.
• Tracey (10/5): A great find in the busy Old Quarter - This was a great find. Right in the middle of the busy Old Quarter. Our room was overlooking the street but the double glazing worked a treat. The staff are exceptional. Ms Daily went above & beyond to help us with our stay but also with booking other flights & accommodation. All this making our holiday stress free. All the other staff made us feel so welcome & were so helpful. We could not fault them. Our room was clean & well appointed. I can highly recommend this hotel to stay in Hanoi.

Bathtub leans against the wall with no caulking/sealant, so inevitably some water leaks on the bathroom floor. Mattress is on the firm side (a firm mattress seems to be the standard for Vietnam)

Nonostante fossimo sopra la strada decisamente trafficata, la camera era ben insonorizzata e la notte siamo riusciti a dormire senza i tappi, gentilmente offerti dallo staff. Ragazzi gentili e super carini. Colazione fatta al momento, molto buona. Consigliatissimi le uova strapazzate e i pancakes alla banana!

• Christian Villareal (10/5): - Location was perfect and staff were very friendly. Don't expect a luxurious breakfast buffet but the few food choices tasted amazing. If you choose the rooms with balcony, then expect clear noices from just outside. It is still very lively from afternoon until midnight. First night it bothered me a bit but you'll get used to it.

• MaxKoehorstIJSS (10/5): Amazing people, good hotel - The hotel is located in the Old Quarter, in the middle of Hanoi. Very close to Hoan Kiem Lake, loads of shops, museums, and coffee places or restaurants. You can go for a nice walk to the West Lake, which is about 45-60 min, or Train Street, which is about 30-40 min. Their whatsapp contact is Ms. Daily. And she is a star! Ms. Daily reached out to me after my booking to help me with a taxi, and arranging excursions. Immediately you feel good and nice with this hotel because of how they treat you. Once you have arrived, they are very interested in you and how your flight was. They remember you! Every morning they all said hi to me and wished me a nice day. They have rooms with and without windows. Which is stated very clearly on the booking. Keep this in mind while picking one! Breakfast was good. They can also cook some eggs for you if needed. Bed, bathroom, the room itself, are all perfect. Good AC too and/or a fan if needed. I booked trips through the hotel to Ba Vi (National Park), Ninh Binh, and Ha Long Bay. Very clear communication, very good service. If something is not possible, Ms. Daily arranges an alternative for you! "Impossible" does not exist, they will find a way. Very nice laundry service too. I can only say that I am very happy about my stay at the Hotel du Palace and I recommend it to everyone.

• Joseph (9/5): Cozy boutique hotel will a team of very friendly staff. - Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are not big but well-equipped and cozy. The power outlets have three-pronged plugs, which are safe and suitable for my travel power adapter. We were given the no-window room, but at a lower price and it was quieter so it wasn’t really something that we didn’t like about.
