Bauarbeiten bis nach 22 Uhr in der Nacht direkt vor dem Hotel, was dazu führte, dass man nicht schlafen konnte

- Maria (4/5): Una falta de respeto inaceptable en Nochevieja - Muy cerca del aeropuerto Pasamos Nochevieja en este hotel y contratamos expresamente su cena de gala, esperando una experiencia especial acorde a la fecha y al precio pagado. La realidad fue una decepción absoluta.
A la hora de subir a la terraza para ver los fuegos artificiales, el personal no nos permitió el acceso y nos envió a otra zona, con la excusa de que la terraza estaba reservada “solo para los locales”. Esto, después de haber pagado la cena de gala y ser huéspedes del hotel, me parece una falta de respeto gravísima.
No se nos informó de esta limitación en ningún momento antes de contratar el evento. De haberlo sabido, jamás habríamos elegido este hotel para pasar una noche tan señalada. Tratar de esta manera a los clientes que han pagado exactamente lo mismo —o incluso más— es discriminatorio y totalmente inadmisible.
Nochevieja debería ser una celebración para todos los clientes por igual, no una experiencia en la que te hacen sentir cliente de segunda. La sensación final fue de engaño, mala gestión y cero consideración hacia los huéspedes.
No repetiría bajo ningún concepto y no recomiendo este hotel para fechas especiales. Hay lugares donde el respeto al cliente sí existe; este no es uno de ellos.

I believe that’s not fair for me Maagiri hotel is very nice and good place but this experience is very bad

- Emmanouil (1/5): Bad - Disaster with one word ! We arrived at the hotel around 9 pm while it was a rainy day for one night but didn’t expect to find the same conditions in the room. It was leaking from the windows and the room was full of humid . Our clothes and the bed linens were wet and you couldn’t breathe so we had to leave the window open to get fresh air. It would have been a nice hotel for one night while the room was comfortable enough but without humid!
- Prashini (9/5): Great location, lovely clean spacious rooms - The location was great - easy to walk around the city. Ferry from the airport is right across from the hotel entrance. Lovely breakfast. Super comfortable rooms and very clean. Aircon is amazing. The dinner on the rooftop is great and a lovely view from the rooftop. Extensive menu - every type of food: Indian, Thai etc etc. We cancelled the transfer from the airport as we had to wait a few hours till the transfer service started - took the ferry but the transfer back to the airport to get seaplane to resort was great. Choose junior or executive suite for ample space and extra bed can be provided in these rooms if you need it for kids. Hotel provides bottled water and coffee/ tea station. Bar fridge items are chargeable. If you need fresh milk for tea/ coffee you can ask the restaurant on the rooftop. It’s pricey property. The high charges per room because we arrived at 5h30 am. We had three rooms. We did eventually pay for one as our rooms would only be ready at 2. There was a lot of confusion - room was offered at one rate, then a different rate, then we were told the room is not ready when we wanted it from 8am. We paid for one room so the kids could get settled but we were then told that we could not go to our kids room. No visitors allowed. I mean surely this is left to interpretation of the situation. We not visitors off the street. We were guests. Anyway long story short - transfer service only starts at 8am. If you get the room from 8 am it is 50% of the rate. If you want the room prior to that it is the full rate. However transfers from the airport only start at 8am, we took the ferry which was $1 each and arrived almost on the doorstep of the hotel.

- John (1/5): My stay at Maagiri Hotel was disappointing due to its motel-like feel, overpriced charges, and underwhelming amenities - Nothing My stay at Maagiri Hotel left much to be desired. Despite being marketed as a 4-star hotel, it gave off more of a motel vibe. The disappointment started at the reception and extended to the room and the so-called "Rooftop" restaurant, which felt far from the experience I had expected.It's disheartening that the quality didn't align with the price I paid, as the hotel night should have been valued around $100 at best, not the hefty $400.
What struck me as particularly frustrating were the additional charges. A $10 fee for a lost room key, a 50./. Room charge for a late check-out until 2pm, and even more charges for a simple American coffee or cappuccino during breakfast..
All in all, my experience at Maagiri Hotel felt like a scam, with lackluster amenities and unjustified charges. I would caution anyone considering a stay here to carefully evaluate whether it's truly worth the expense.

Free shuttle to and from the hotel How such pricey hotel cannot afford to buy for their needs hotel card envelope sleeves? They just print it on monochrome printer, than cut them out and stick together. Such a shame! Very difficult to use elevator: it's small and the card system is not working properly. Only 1 keycard per room.
