• Igor (7/5): Single-room with with mini-bathroom and access from a yard, rather noisy, could use a renovation. - Got some basic breakfast with fresh bread and little jams in the fridge. Seems like a proper local-family-run bussiness. Bad smell in the kitchen cabinet and very limited space and equipemnt hardly invite you to cook so the kitchenette only good for making coffee/tea to go with the breakfast, but has no tea mugs. Long hair of previous visitors on the floor. The pictures are not up to date and certainly look better than reality. 55 m2 clearly include the yard.

• Cristhian (10/5): Vacanza mamma e figlio - Ottima posizione a pochi passi dal centro di Fira e dalla stazione degli autobus che collegano tutta l’isola. La struttura ha aria condizionata, Wi-Fi e cucina con tutto il necessario. Trovo che sia perfetta sia per un gruppo di amici sia per una famiglia con bambini (ci sono 4 letti + divano). Asciugamani puliti ogni giorni! Super! Ottima la comunicazione con i proprietari tramite whatsapp e dal vivo, sono molto disponibili e gentili! Se torniamo a Santorini torneremo in questa struttura! Grazie In una settimana è andato tutto bene ☻

• Giorgio (8/5): Very good - Close to center, supermarket and bus station, clean, has aircon, friendly staff, very quiet area. It was very quiet by default being winter and being the island hit by many small and not so small earthquakes... somehow I guess it might be very different in season. Given the situation (I was there while Santorini was experiencing hundreds of earthquakes, many of which shook the house day and night) it is understandable some level of worry and even leaving your house for a safer destination but at least let me know... the staff just disappeared on Tuesday, no notice, no message via phone or booking, or a piece of paper on the door.

• Parswajyoti (10/5): Centrally located, cozy, comfortable place with a super-kind host, perfect for families - The house is super cozy, clean, beautiful and centrally located in Fira within walkable distance from the main square. It is perfect for families with children. The host is a sweet, kind lady who went out of her way to make our stay hassle free & enjoyable, she accommodated us with an early check-in and also stored our luggage to enable us to go for sightseeing after our check-out. She greeted our children with cakes and cookies and also gifted nice souvenirs to all of us. We really enjoyed our stay.
• Mihaela (8/5): It was a great place to stay for a couple of nights, not pretentious, welcoming. - The room was big and it had all amenities, it had 4 beds inside, 1 for 2 people and 2 for 1 people. The owner was sweet and welcoming and we could leave our luggage with them until the night, when we had our ferry. The bathroom was tiny and a bit old.

Perfect to discover the island in few days The appartement only has a window, so it’s a little bit dark. Some equipments should be renovated and I would like to have some shelves in the bathroom!

• Bruce (9/5): Fully equipped private apartment in a building shared with very helpful host. - Apartment is open plan space that is attached to a family house with which it shares a courtyard. There are two single beds and a double. There is a small but functional kitchen/dining area. The host lives in the same building and is very helpful. Washing facilities were not listed but the host was happy to let us use theirs. The shower space is very small. Mattresses are a hard type that might not suit some people.

It was clean and comfortable. Close to central Thira and bus terminal making it very convenient. It was cosy for a family of 4.

• Poh (8/5): A Great Santorini Stay - The location was very central and we are grateful there is not much steps to this place. We are happy that the Host had provided coffee and tea and bread for breakfast. We had paid Euro50 and enjoyed a traditional Greek Moussakka dinner with the host and her family. It was a very good fellowship we had and we wish to record our thanks to them. We will definitely recommend this property to future people. However the message as to how to access to the place could have been clearer as we have advised that we are taking a bus from the Airport. They should advise us to turn left at the Fira Bus Station and then turn left again at the Main Road and upon seeing the Santorini Dental Clinic turn left and the property is on the left.

• Keith (8/5): I would especially recommend this accommodation to families with small children. - The hosts arranged transportation from the port and met us when we arrived. They guided us to the accommodation and explained how appliances worked. They were extremely helpful and even provided plates of fruit. The location was great, within minutes of the main town and main bus depot. Nothing really.
• Ravi (9/5): An exceptional place for a stay in the city of Fira. Great value self catering apartment. - Mantilaria is located at main centre town of Fira. So it's very near from main bus station. So this is the best place to live as all the buses leave from this bus station only. So even you need to change the bus, you need to come back to Fira. So Fira is the most convenient place to stay. From the beginning the host, Ms. Evgenia, was very friendly and helpful. She served us daily sweet breads. Room was cleaned daily and changed table cloths, towels. Room was comfortable space to move around for our family. Room has 3 double beds and a sofa. Room was equipped with everything to feel like at home like cooker, travel adapters, umbrellas, cutlery, cooking utensils, all toiletries, first aid, iron, ironing board, strong Wifi connection, lot of bedsheets, hand towels, bath towels, bathrobes etc. Evgenia's family is also very kind, welcoming and attentive. Her son-in-law Stelios took us on taxi-ride for one day local tour. He was also very patient, kind and helpful. Mantilaria manager, Mr.Vassilis also gave us right information and timely tips in our tour. Ms.Evgenia also gave us Santorini souvenirs on our last day. She also took care of our luggage when we checked out as we had a time gap to catch our return flights. She was so co-operative. It was a immense great pleasure to stay at Mantilaria. This is one of the best trip we had. We will never forget this holiday and Mantilaria. I will highly recommend this apartment. There is nothing as such. Everything is excellent!

• Nitanshi (10/5): - We had the best time at this place. The studio is spacious and clean with all amenities. Location is safe and very close to the tourist attractions (3min walking). The hosts are absolutely fabulous and made us feel at home. I would definitely stay at this property everytime I visit.

Eugenia was a wonderful host. the shower curtain didn’t go all the way to the bottom, so it was difficult to keep the bathroom floor from getting wet, but it wasn’t a big deal.

• Loc (10/5): - The room is relatively basic but has everything that one needs to have a comfortable stay. The owner goes out of her way to welcome and make guests feel at home -- there is no price for that. In terms of location, you are practically in the center of Fira, a mere 5min walk away from the Caldera and 10-15min away (by car) from the airport. Highly recommended.

Room had everything to feel like at home, travel adapters, umbrellas, every kitchen stuff required for cooking breakfast or even other food, first aid, etc. Daily room cleaning and towel change. We loved the place and hospitality. Nothing!

• Robert (10/5): Excellent and Welcoming Stay - This was our favourite stay in the 2 weeks we spent in Greece! Our host was extremely welcoming and we were very impressed the facilities and size of the room. We felt very well looked after and welcomed with a lovely pastry and shown all the amenities that the apartment has to offer. An airport transfer was organised for us quickly and efficiently and we were even able to leave our bags without an issue to explore Santorini on our last day. Excellent service and lovely stay!

Availability of products for bath/shower and for breakfast. Room was spacious for the queen size bed and two single beds. Recommended for short stay. Limited possibility for cooking as only one electrical plate was available. Fridge was very small with bottle holder broken. Bathroom sink very little.

• han (8/5): Prefect stay on a budget - This is a cozy place with plenty of room for you, your friends, or a family of 4. The room is spacious with 3 beds: 1 queen and 2 twin. Nothing fancy but it has all the essentials. Bring toothpaste and hair conditioner with you. The owner is so sweet and attentive. She made sure to send us off when we checked out at 5am. This place is close to everything: 10 minutes from the bus station, 10 minutes from the town center, 5 minutes walk from a cute coffee shop and a bakery shop, 5 minutes walk from a tiny market ran by an older Greek gentleman, etc… The place is not on the main road. It’s tucked away in an alley.
• Roland (10/5): - Herzlicher Empfang und freundlicher Service rund um unseren Aufenthalt. Die Besitzerin hat uns täglich mit einem kleinen Frühstück versorgt, obwohl das nicht im Buchungsumfang enthalten war. Das Apartment war sehr geräumig und der kleine Innenhof konnte mitbenutzt werden.

• Ruth (8/5): Hidden Gem - What a fab place... everything you needed was there... from coffee & croissants to dressing gowns & everything inbetween.. immaculate.. I say Budden as it's behind a big door which leads to a courtyard with your own space, tables & chairs very cute & peaceful great for families or single traveller... My only negative is that communication not good and we had to guess where our transfer to port was as nobody there to talk to or show. Vasdolis turned up after I found transfer spot. Fortunately had been to Santorini before & knew how it worked.. Would absolutely stay there again... All transfers are by private good company.. where they drop you at hotel is where they pick you up.
