- G (4/5): - This place has seen better days and really needs an upgrade. The reception and bar area are soulless and give a bad first impression. My superior pod with a door was clean, but not remotely soundproof — whoever decided to build these metal boxes needs to rethink the design. The bathrooms were the worst part: filthy, with orange scum in the showers and a general feeling of neglect. It’s obvious this hostel used to be decent, but it’s been left to deteriorate. With some investment and care, it could get back to what it once was.
- Chunyuan (8/5): - The staff is very nice and the hotel is very clean. The main thing I don't like is that the room is made of iron sheets, which makes noises that can be heard in the next door dorm.
- Cole (6/5): - Bathroom sink was clogged, missing ceiling panels in some places, shower would flood bathroom, some stains on bed sheets and the tv did not work in our room.
- Stéphane (6/5): - J'ai pris cet hôtel pour un sejour de 1 nuit pour faire une correspondance de train le lendemain tôt. J'étais réticente à l'idée de dormir en dortoir mais l'expérience m'a clairement refroidie car il y a du bruit en tous temps (des gens qui entrent, qui partent, preparent leurs bagages en pleine nuit, qui se douchent, etc). De plus, les sanitaires étaient mal entretenus. A part le papier toilette, il n'y avait ni savon, ni désinfectants. Les rideaux qui séparaient les box n'étaient pas complètement bien installés ce qui fait qu'on peut quand même jeter un coup d'oeil dedans ... bref, je ne referai pas.

- Carlos (10/5): GReat - Staying at this capsule hotel was such a unique and enjoyable experience! The capsules were modern, clean, and very comfortable, giving me both privacy and convenience. The shared facilities were spotless and well organized, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure everything went smoothly during my stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a different and memorable stay.

Mi consejo es colocar un material hermetico para que se genere menos ruido. Es muy pequeño pero comodo y basico para lo que se necesita... Dormir.
- Lutrecia (10/5): Sojourner in Milan - It was such a pleasant surprise to find this affordable jewel right in the center of Milan. I was able to travel to and from it via bus from the main train station. Check-in was easy. They no longer provide a drink at reception. I was provided a unique door code for my assigned dormitory as well as a door code for my individual pod. My pod was neat and as described. There was one towel and a set of clean sparkling white bedding. It was enough to suit me. I could stand completely up with plenty of headroom. The TV didn't work, but that was not a deal breaker for me seeing that there was a strong wifi that I was able to use with my phone. The shared bathroom was just a few doors away. It was clean and remained that way during my entire visit. I did visit the kitchen area located on another floor, and I found it clean and tidy. I didn't sleep well due to my inconsiderate neighbors coming in very late and talking for hours. There's little to no soundproofing. I really should have put on my earplugs, but I was afraid of not hearing my alarm clock and oversleeping. I passed on the shower and just used the towel and sink to brush my teeth and wash my face. In addition to the bath towel, I would suggest the hotel provide each pod with their own individual bath mat. The same wet and used one (not sanitary) remained on the floor. As I was leaving, I passed by the delicious looking complimentary breakfast buffet. I definitely would stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

- Lori (6/5): - Staff was cool. Wi-Fi was a challenge as a ‘social media hostel’. Kept getting knocked off while in my capsule space or not connecting at all. Had to go into a common area downstairs. For me- I booked a private capsule- since made of metal- the sound was like a tin can. But served the purpose. Bathrooms- definitely could have been kept up better. Always wet floors or wet towels on floor. Having continental breakfast and coffee included was nice.

- Emma (10/5): Great Hostel. - It was a clean, comfortable and easy to find hostel not far from the main train station and about 20min walk to plazza duomo. The staff were friendly and the self serve breakfast was delicious. There are a few comunal areas and a terrace where you can chill. The bathrooms were large with toiletries and hot water.

The sleeping conditions are fine, pretty much exactly what I was after. Nothing special and the price was the main point. I wasn’t spending much time there anyway. The continental breakfast was good!
- Fabio (8/5): Falta ventilação nas cabines - O hostel apresenta uma excelente estrutura, com destaque para a internet de alta velocidade e a localização privilegiada, que facilita o acesso aos principais pontos da cidade. O staff é atencioso e prestativo, contribuindo para uma experiência acolhedora. O café da manhã é outro ponto positivo, oferecendo variedade e qualidade nos itens servidos. No entanto, alguns aspectos merecem atenção. As cabines apresentam um problema significativo de ventilação. Durante a estadia, mesmo com a temperatura externa em torno de 14°C, a sensação térmica dentro das cabines ultrapassava os 30°C, tornando as noites desconfortáveis. Um sistema de climatização individual nas cabines seria essencial para melhorar a experiência dos hóspedes. Outro ponto a ser melhorado é o fornecimento de água quente nos chuveiros, que foi praticamente inexistente durante toda a estadia. Apesar de, em alguns momentos, o banho frio ter aliviado o calor excessivo das cabines, a falta de água quente não é aceitável, especialmente em uma cidade como Milão. No geral, trata-se de um bom hostel, com pontos fortes, mas que necessita de melhorias urgentes no sistema de ventilação das cabines e na oferta de água quente para proporcionar mais conforto aos hóspedes.
- Mikko (8/5): - This hostel in better than previous reviews says. Staff was really nice and helpful. The room was tidy and quiet. Only notices were. that the cavin which was for two people had only one power outlet. It made thing a little challenging fo two people to alternate with that. Second was the room shower which did not work peoperly. All in all great and safe experience and one of the best hostells where we have stayed. Huge plus for included breakfast and welcome drinks.
- shaney (6/5): Looks better online, would not go back - I arrived late which may have been why I was assisgned to the top pod. It is seriously dangerous climbing down from it. I need fell numerous times. Almost 40 so still pretty flexible. Once you are in your pod it’s fine and the privacy is nice. The bathroom on our floor was not the cleanest. The location is good and they gave a voucher for 10% off drinks at a local bar. Shout out to Stephen who owns the bar.

Room got hot in night. Shower/toilet right next door. Breakfast next day was lovely and plentiful. Location about 25 mins walk from train station. Easy to find.

- Daniel Alberto (2/5): - Ostelzzz in Milan has a fantastic staff who are friendly and dedicated. However, the hostel falls short in a crucial area: cleanliness, especially in the bathrooms. A hostel should provide two essentials: a comfortable bed and a decent shower. Unfortunately, the shower facilities here need a serious upgrade. I urge the owners to invest in improving this aspect. This review focuses solely on the facilities and is in no way a reflection on the wonderful staff.

- Matthew (6/5): - The hostel photographs better than its actual conditions; in real life, the common spaces themselves are not terribly inviting. However, the sleeping pods have more privacy than usual for a hostel-like accommodation. There's even space for your backpack inside the pod (but a suitcase would probably be too big). Having ensuite bathrooms inside the rooms is convenient. The included breakfast is limited in scope (and I recommend getting there early because they run out of a lot of things).
- Hannah Watanabe (2/5): - Unfortunately I cannot recommend anyone to stay at Ostelzzz no matter the cost. I booked a double bed pod and was pleased with the photos only to arrive and the hostel looks nothing like them. First of all, the lobby doesn’t have a real reception desk, just a fold out table. The workers were helpful but as I went to my pod I saw that there were someone’s used socks in my pod, and the room was dirty with hair on the floors. The bathroom was also dirty with mold on the walls and hair on the floors. It was completely unsanitary and unprofessional.
- Andres Felipe (4/5): Not my cup of tea - the staff is very helpful and friendly but the price compared to the service is very poor and bad. let's also confirm that i don't like hostels in general, i gave the opportunity to this as is looked like the japanese capsules, but no door, just a curtain. the capsule was full of dust and hair. the room where i was, it was dirty, with someone's clothes around all over. The toilet dirty and smelly (mould smell) and also there looks like someone was living there. Hair colour all over the sink. the morning at 6.40 am an alarm rung for about 15 mins, when i went to check whom was that, another girl was there saying has been like that for over a week. The hostel tho is very central, near corso Buenos Aires and Porta venezia. Breakfast was surprisingly ok but remember to carry 1€ if u like an espresso

- Verified traveler (10/5): 最高！それしか言えない。 - とても清潔で何も不満がなかった。何より部屋ごとにトイレとシャワーがあるが、部屋の外にもトイレとシャワーがついているので人を気にすることもない。 またウェルカムドリンクももらえるし、朝食も7時前だったがチェックアウトすると言ったら少し遠い食べれました。 カプセルサイズも大きいので空いているスペースに1人用のスーツケースも持ち込めてとても快適でした。 余談ですがホテルのすぐ近くのレストランのオッソブーコもすごい量でとても美味しかった。

- Laura (6/5): - Good price and location. The bathrooms are quite dirty and the water was not very hot. The bed was comfortable but the locker did not work. Although my stuff was still there when I returned thankfully! The pictures shown on Expedia did not match the bunk I was given. I expected a single cabin but I was in the top cabin. Did not expect to have to climb. It was also quite warm in the rooms, and wasn’t too warm outside. So I can imagine would be quite unbearable in the summer. For the price though I guess it was okay. If I was to return, I would potentially stay here again and pay for a private room.

- Vito (6/5): It was OK - The staff was nice enough. The free welcome drink was kind. The bathroom was messy and since the shower is in the only bathroom for the dorm everything was wet. The lock for the locker above the bed was broken. The bed was clean and so was the bedding and towels. The mattress was comfortable. I’m 6’3” and my head touched one wall and my feet the other, so I wouldn't recommend staying if you’re taller. It was fine for one night but i don’t think I would do any more than that.

Hostels are to save money, specially if you are alone and dont mind sharing a bathroom. I love the capsules. Just wish the combo locks worked, but I brought locks a cables so I am good.

- Charlie (6/5): - Cheap and cheerful. At 6 foot the length of my pod was me on the mattress. Had some pretty rubbish nights sleeps as well. Can do better than this in the area I think. Marginally better than a dorm situation at least.

- Sunil Rajnikant (6/5): - Quite a few issues with my cabin e.g. locker for belongings not working or missing hooks BUT the staff dealt with this quickly and easily. Definitely get the welcome drink - I got mine on day3 as pre-dinner prosecco - and breakfast buffet is fine even though some of the fruit put out is a bit bruised. No problems getting around by public transport or walking

- owen (2/5): - i room i share with other people smell really bad. the restroom was dirty. the sink was clog so i had to use the restroom in the hallway. it was just an uncomfortable stay . check in was a hassle and had to wait until exactly 3pm to check in. there was a line of people by that time. i don’t understand why they can’t check you in and tell you to wait until 3pm to get your space? it would be so much convenient. i wanted to experience stay at a hostel but i guess i pick the wrong one.

- Phil (2/5): - If you have ever dreamt of sleeping on the sun, then this is the place for you! Jokes aside, they really should remove AC from their list of amenities because the units located around the hostel might as well be for show. We were boiling hot overnight, making the stay not restful at all - we literally had to use our wet towels as blankets to keep ourselves cool. And given that everyone must be as warm and sweaty as we were, the rooms absolutely stink. The bathrooms themselves were also questionable at best, with water all over the floor and leftover used towels for days. But hey, at least the water is always freezing cold to help you beat the heat (i.e., no hot water). The technology at this self-proclaimed "social media hostel" is also lacklustre (the tv screen in our pod didn't work, not sure what it was for though) and the pictures are all clearly from a time long past. It would probably be a decent place given the solid location and cheap drinks, but the experience really was ruined by the lack of comfort. They are charging far too much for what they are offering.

- Meredith (4/5): - I was really excited for this property I was traveling with my daughter. We booked a deluxe pod and I walked into this knowing it was a hostel with pods. Pros near Milano train station and walkable to duomo 30 mins, included breakfast. Cons the pods are very hot. We went in May and the temperature outside was 70 and cooler at night. Our pod was extremely warm and uncomfortable due to the heat. There is no ventilation. If they provided fans or AC in them that would make such a difference. I couldn’t imagine staying there in summer with all the heat and trapped in the pod. Another con the outside doors to the pods to let some fresh air in don’t open. There are stairs to get down into the hotel which stinks with luggage. The pods themselves are pretty loud just walking around the metal bowing and bending. They have laundry which we did however the staff failed to mention the dryer was broken so we washed our clothes and were left with damp clothes which honestly really pissed me off. I would have rather not done my laundry then have to pack damp clothes. Overall I would not stay here again. It was a great concept and with some fans it would make all the difference.

Never been so happy with a hostel as this one, friendly staff, you can go out and come back in the night as someone is always at the reception

BUT, the room door was broken, so no exactly safe and sound for my belongings and gets quite noisy in the morning, each pod has a locker but those make such a creeping sound when opening and closing.

Only 1 small downside is that the cabins let in a lot of light at night. Other than that a great little place to stay when I’m milan in a budget.

In a very nice location that make it accessible with any transport or foot and shops around for all the tastes. Clean enough with practical box-beds. A bit cold during the night but that is fixable. Highly recommend!

- Adilson António (10/5): The number 1 hostel in Milan! - This hostel is magnificent. It's the best and the number 1 in the city of Milan. I fully recommend it to anyone. The only thing I would like to let the staff or the administration to know, is that sometimes they forget to reset the code of the lockers at every check-out of the guests, so that the new comers that arrive and check-in can simply use the locker to place their stuffs. Last time, I couldn't use the locker because it was locked, but I didn't know the code to open it.
