Guest Reviews
- Joy (2/5): Was not a place I would stay again needed better pillows warmer blankets needed resting could not get it - Location The bed was uncomfortable, needed extra blanket, extra pillows. The men in the unit next-door were loud most of the night did not get any sleep. Would not stay there again.
- Camilla (9/5): - It was very quiet and peaceful Paint was chipping in the room and there was rust in the room on some of the walls and I felt like the rooms needed better cleaning and up grading
- Fannie (6/5): -
- Jordan (3/5): OK for one night. - It was quiet. The sheets were a little itchy. The ice machine and venting machines was dirty. The carpets were dirty and smelling. The walls, doors and baseboards were real dirty. Didn't smell any cleaning fluids. Lights in bathroom made alot of noise when you cut them on.
- Jessica (5/5): Terrible, never again, would rather sleep in my car. - Free breakfast, even though it was late. Room was dirty, and smelly. I had to go out and buy cleaning supplies to clean the room. Also the door to the bathroom was completely broken. Wouldn’t close at all.
- Turner (7/5): - Close to where I have to get to and has several places in walking distance to eat
- Watts (9/5): - Great location, friendly staff.
- Juanita (2/5): - Na Everything
I WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE AGAIN
the guess next door to my room were loud, not sure what was going on.
The facility needs an entire upgrade. Very disappointed
- Alexander (10/5): -
- Rodrigo (9/5): -
- Carlo (9/5): -
- John (6/5): -
- Cathi (7/5): Awesome staff, clean room, able to walk to food - Location. Easily located Properly kept up and landscaped
- Lisa (3/5): Poor Quality Hotel - The staff The conditions were horrible. Rust, mold, carpets were filthy, holes in the sheets.
- Phillip (5/5): -
- John (6/5): Staff great property just needs some TLC - The staff was nice and checking and out was smooth. Property in despair had rust on bathroom door jam. Ceiling with apparent water damage. The whole facility had a musky smell
- Aislinn (6/5): Clean but dilapidated - The front desk receptionist was very sweet and the room was nice and clean, but everything was in such poor condition. Shower was broken (handheld nozzle had a broken clamp), sink had no plug, carpet was very stained and felt gummy, mattress was very worn with a big dip in the middle, pillows were unbelievably thin and flat. We appreciated that we were allowed an early check-in, but for the price we were surprised at the overall condition of the room.
- Kathleen (10/5): - Good location for us
- Alana (10/5): - Clean room. Friendly staff.
- SCOTT (4/5): - We have had a few stays at this hotel and while older and less fancy than others, it was cleaner and quieter than we feared usually. This trip, however, the smell of smoke in the halls and room were enough to make us consider leaving and paying for a second hotel. While they insist no smoking is allowed, the odor in the hall is very high and the smell in the room is still too much to stand. Time to re-carpet and re-paint and defumigate if you want our business.
- Karen (8/5): - Room was clean however second floor smelled like someone had been smoking marijuana and it’s supposed to be a no smoking hotel. There wasn’t an elevator or vending machine that had cold drinks. The breakfast was very lame - hot pockets, jimmy Dean processed sandwiches, sugar cereal, oatmeal packets, waffles and bananas/apples. No real healthy choices for breakfast.
- Shields (8/5): - Needs freshened up. Toilet paper holder was covered in rust. Carpet looked gross, in the room and in the halls.
- Mercedes (10/5): Enjoyed our stay and will be back shortly - Everything was as described and hotel staff was exceptionally friendly Nothing
- Ashley (1/5): - I didn't like how the room got cancelled after a successful payment just to find out the day of it declined I feel like I should have received a email or call the night of and not hours later
- Verified traveler (8/5): Decent accommodations, location good - Stayed here a few times now, conveniently located and reasonably affordable. Clean, no elevator as only 2 stories. The only issue I had was I was given a room on the 2nd floor next to someone who had their TV on all night and could hear it. Not sure if they were staying temporarily or not.
- Dee (9/5): -
- Gerald (10/5): - Nice property.Bad experince at check in
- Michelle (2/5): - The place smelled like smoke, room was dirty, checkout after 5 mins
- sunny (2/5): Sleep outside on the ground - I checked in at 244pm. Went upstairs the smoke smell from cigarettes was horrible. Unpacked put things away. Threw up. Room door to bathroom was disgustingly dirty. We left went to explore the town. Came back at 10. We took showers. I laid down to sleep and a roach crawled across my face. Went downstairs reported. She said well we are by the woods and I can’t move your room. Upon returning to the room found three more roaches and couldn’t sleep. So we checked out at 1140pm. They said I would be refunded today. Upon checking there was a 20 credit returned and when calling she made it clear that’s all I would be getting. I’m pretty traumatized when I close my eyes to sleep now.
- Carol Lynn (6/5): - Facility could use a facelift. Scratched paint off the walls, stained curtains and a noisy air
Conditioner unit (but it worked well!)
Self serve breakfast was adequate.
- Cynthea (2/5): Motel from hell - The room was filthy, poor customer service, very rude. They don’t clean the room; false advertisement about the continental breakfast. Toilet was clogged and no one came to unclogged
- TIMOTHY (1/5): NEVER AGAIN!! - THE WORST BED I HAVE EVER SLEPT IN! THE HOTEL COST WAY TO MUCH MONEY! DRITY RUST ALL OEVR. WOULD NEVER STAY AGAIN! NEED LOTS OF PAINT AND NEW BEDS!!
- Kai (8/5): No Elevator - The staff was nice but we did not know the hotel did not have an elevator. My sister, who came with me has knee issues. We were roomed on the second floor. She had a hard time carrying her bags up and down the stairs. The carpet needs to be replaced with up to date flooring. Overall the room was okay.
- Noreen (10/5): - Staff not that friendly, there was cigarette smoke on the first floor; breakfast was packaged food
- Frederick (10/5): Excellent No-frills Stopover - A comfortable, inexpensive, simple place to stay.
- Tyna (8/5): - Our room was clean, quiet & simple. Staff was polite & helpful. Gave me a homey feeling.
- Susan (6/5): - The location and price were good. The staff and bbreakfast were great. Bed, pillows and towels and shower were fine. The walls and doors were dirty
- Anthony (8/5): - N/a
- Myers (8/5): - The property is a bit worn but kept very clean. Staff is very nice. We will stay there again.
- Sukaina (8/5): - Everything was nice except for the smell of cigarette….the carpet needs to be replaced as it holds on to the smoke smell throughout the entire property
- Bridgette (8/5): Very good -
- Rodney (8/5): - Dated furnishings, fair for the money! Good coffee! Beside ABC STORE, Mexican restaurant in the front, Bar-B-Que restaurant in the back, and a block from a beautiful walking park with plenty of paved trails. Plenty of restaurants within a ten minute drive!
- Sandra (3/5): I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. - The breakfast was disappointing, there was bread, but no butter, jelly or eggs to eat it with. The room was selling very musty, it seemed as thought the carpet needs changing or a good deep cleaning. my friend who was staying there in another room, got there before me and had to ask for something to spray out the room. I used some lysol spray to make it comfortable to spend the night. I was leaving at 11:00 am, I left at 8:30 am because the room odor was not of the best.
- eileen (10/5): - Its a little hard to find and either the walls are thin or my neighbors were very loud. Overall it was a very nice place with a great breakfast.
- Richard (6/5): Pleasant -
- Julio (4/5): - The room had an cigarette odor, the bathroom needs upgrading, the mattress needs to be changed it sunk in the middle. The faucet on hand basin needs repairs, water surts out when opening, curtains need changing they had holes in the inner curtain. The best thing was the maids who were very helpful and cleaned.
- Jim (8/5): - I have stayed at this hotel many times. But last night I have never heard so much noise trying to go to sleep. Kids crying and screaming and I’m talking about after 10 o’clock.
- Delilah (4/5): - Friendly staff.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good - The location was ideal. We are not big breakfast people so it met our needs.
The staff was absolutely amazing. There was mold at the bottom edge of the shower in the bathroom. The room could use a renovation. From the outside, it looked like a couple of rooms on the second floor had blinds a curtains falling down.
- Chavious (9/5): It was very comfortable and friendly environment! - Breakfast was great. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I made my reservations online. When I arrived at the hotel to check in, the receptionist told me there were no more rooms available. After a few minutes she contacted the manager on duty to assist her, I was told that there was an error and another customer had the same issue, she then apologizes for the error and inconvenience and said she only had a handicap room available. at this time, I was so exhausted because I had travel 2 hours to get here. I told her I would take it under the circumstances. She then informs that the jacuzzi didn't work. She was very kind and considerate of my feelings. She was also very professional and had a wonderful attitude.
- Vickie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Audrey (8/5): - The property is aged plus at 8:30 am breakfast food was all gone
- John (8/5): Very good - We were very happy with the front desk, the room, beds , breakfast and the cleanliness. The bathroom fan was much too noisy but when we told them on leaving they said that they would check it out.
- Rodgers (4/5): Disappointing - None Facilities need to be upgraded water bugs and roaches in the room.
- Tuannisha (6/5): - The room was clean but the carpet not so much. Had a horrible mildew smell.
- Sandy (4/5): - The pictures online are very deceiving. When we got there, the first room they gave us had such a strong musty smell that we didn’t even make it all the way inside and had to ask for a new room. The second room didn’t smell as bad, but there were several other problems with this room. For starters, the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. When we went into the bathroom, we noticed little tiny hairs, what looked like could be pubic hairs, all over the toilet paper and the toilet seat. The front desk attendant came in to replace all of the toilet paper. Naturally we wanted to change rooms again but clearly the hotel itself wasn’t well taken care of and we had just taken a 9 hour drive from Jersey so we were exhausted and didn’t want to keep having to switch rooms so we just stayed and made it work. The shower was dirty and also had a visible hole in the wall behind the showerhead which they failed to cover up or even take care of at all. The couch and the desk chair were just very worn and old and didn’t look desirable to sit in but again, we did because it was the only place to sit and eat. The fridge was dirty. The bathroom sink had no stopper and was visibly dirty and old. The towel racks had rust all over them. At a point we needed ice but the machine in the hall was very old and dirty so we went to a gas station to get a bag of ice instead. Overall, the hotel was in very poor condition, dirty, & not well taken care of or having any upkeep. I would not recommend at all.
- Leah (8/5): - The cleaning people were the best thing about this hotel
- Gladys (6/5): - Bed was uncomfortable otherwise was nice and clean
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - They had a really nice continental breakfast! Nothing
- Robert (6/5): - safe
- Thurtina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (4/5): - The smell was awful. I want go back and the breakfast was nothing
- Doni (2/5): - From the outside, it looked inviting. The tile lobby floor was dingy & obviously hadn't had a good scrubbing in a long while. Upon entering the room, I noticed a strong musty/sour smell. [I bought a candle to mask the odor a bit]. There was a hole in the bathroom made by the doorknob. The bedskirt was stained & wrinkled. The noise from the laundry room & vending area were constant while I was in the room. The AC unit sort if rattled when it was on. When I got into bed after midnight, it was rock hard and very uncomfortable. My shoulders, back and hips couldn't tolerate it. I attempted to sleep in the chair, but it was hard as well. I checked out at 3:30am. The desk clerks were very kind and apologetic. The shower & vanity were clean. There was hair on the bathroom floor as well as under/ around the vanity. It was truly the worst experience I've had in a long time.
- Gail (10/5): Exceptional - Clean neat great location , gas station, restaurants, shopping are very close by.
- Debbie (6/5): - I did not like the outdated inside of the bedrooms. Especially the carpet. Replace it, shampoo it or get rid of it!
- Samuel (10/5): Exceptional - Not far to where I had to go
- Melinda (10/5): Great stay. Comfy beds and very friendly staff - Very friendly staff Breakfast needs improvement
- Tara (7/5): Good -
- Jacquez (10/5): - Good for what you pay
- Verified traveler (6/5): Budget, but cleab - It was fine. A bit run down, but great location.
- Samuel (10/5): - Food was in walking distance
- Verified traveler (6/5): Loud area - The room we had shared a wall with the office/breakfast area. At 2-4 am there were people in that area that were very loud and woke us up.
- Graham (10/5): - Great stay. We were not in the area for long and it was a very pleasant quick stay. Humble yet very clean and more than the price tag might suggest.
- Blancy (8/5): - The personal was very friendly
- steffany (8/5): good value for the $ - Very clean, economical and comfortable. Tucked away, but close to everything triangle has to offer. Would stay here repeatedly. Place could use some paint touch ups and replacement of lamps and toilet paper holders.
Very happy with our stay.
- Justin (10/5): Road Life - I love this property! Alway a place away from traffic and a great midway point on my travels!
- Patricia (10/5): - Good value
- Victoria (10/5): - I have stayed here so often it feels like a second home. I am so thankful to the staff at this location. They are all so welcoming and incredibly helpful.
- Ryan (9/5): Superb -
- Ann (6/5): Pleasant - Food location Bathroom did not look clean.Brown paint or something near baseboards
- Jan (5/5): Passable -
- Dixie (8/5): - Hard to locate - GPS gave us the run around. Beds were very comfortable, breakfast was frozen baked goods, not worth eating. Overall the stay was fine and the price more affordable than most places. Nice location.
- Stidham (5/5): Stay was adequate but we have stayed in much nicer hotels. Bathrooms need to be updated. - Location was good, our sons live close by. This is why we stayed here. Rooms need to be updated. Bathrooms need a fan for shower steam.
- Lashonda (10/5): My stay was amazing!! - Loved how clean it was. N/a
- Rafael (8/5): - Ok
- Roger (8/5): Very good -
- Sandra (4/5): Disappointing - It was very close to my daughter at a fair price if it was painted. The staff was very friendly. I stayed here several years ago and it was good. This time it looked worn and needing a good paint job to brighten the place up. There was rusty metal in the bathroom. Disgusting.
- Rhonda (10/5): Exceptional - STAFF & LOCATION NOTHING
- Patricia (10/5): - If there was a small restaurant it would have 4,5 stars!
- Nick (8/5): - It was a place to sleep and that isn’t a bad thing.
- Joyce (10/5): - My schedule changed many times over the course of two weeks and the staff was very accommodating.
- Trudy (7/5): Good - The cost and the cleanliness. The front desk clerk on check in was very pleasant and welcoming. The location was good for us to attend all of our events. We liked the property! They may need to update over the next few years both over all its a very good property.
- Robert (6/5): - The location was very good for our trip. The staff was polite. The facility was dated and cosmetically in need of a facelift. There was no elevator. The breakfast was very limited.
- Aaron (8/5): - Nice place.
- Michael (8/5): Well worth it for the price - Well priced for an overnight stay on a long trip. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Very straightforward accommodations with limited frills, but a nice place to stay.
- Calavett (10/5): - Excellent
- Reggie (10/5): - The service
- Joyce (10/5): - Staff is always so pleasant and helpful.
- JaHerrie (8/5): - So far so good...
- Annie (10/5): - This is a small, clean and conveniently located hotel. It’s somewhat hidden from view behind trees and it’s a little tricky to find in the dark.
