- 95damony (10/5): Exceptional Service and Elite Recognition - I had an excellent stay at the AC Hotel Cleveland Beachwood and it truly exceeded expectations. From the moment I arrived, the front desk team stood out. Both check-in and check-out were handled professionally and warmly, making me feel genuinely welcomed.
As a Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite member, I pay close attention to recognition, and this property did it right. I felt appreciated throughout my stay, especially with the complimentary breakfast, room credit, and free parking, which added real value.
Breakfast was a highlight thanks to Rayetta, who provided exceptional service. She was friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel personal. In the evening, Parker at the bar delivered great service as well, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
Overall, this was a standout stay with a team that clearly cares about the guest experience. I would absolutely return and recommend this property to others.

- HFLtraveler (8/5): Quiet Overnight Stay - My son and I stayed one night while visiting Cleveland. I used points for the night which was only 13,500. Hotel is upscale in appearance, very quiet overall. It is located near many upscale shopping and restaurant options. Parking is free in deck behind hotel. Our room overlooked the shops below.
We had breakfast the next morning nearby at First Watch but breakfast buffet was available at the hotel for $17 pp. This seemed quite reasonable except the only hot options were scrambled eggs and sausage. The did offer free coffee and tea each morning.
I felt the location was quite nice and the points required very low for what we experienced. I would consider staying there again if in the area.

The service is non existent, the people at the front desk could care less if you need anything and they only provide maid and cleaning service every OTHER day. So you have dirty sheets and no clean towels for the second night. Also pretty sure there are bed bugs. Oh and the floor was sticky . Don’t stay here

There was garbage in the garbage cans when I entered my room.
Housekeeping never showed up on the 1st morning, so I mentioned it to the front desk.
They showed up the second day and changed the towels. No cleaning, no emptying of the garbage cans, they didn't even make the bed.
I'll go back to the Marriott across the highway the next time I am in the area.

Surely not luxury, but modern, great rooms and extremely clean. It is a bit outside of Cleveland and there is not too much around (few restaurants and shops), but if you need a good value for money Hotel then you are right here. Highly recommended.

The beds were comfortable but the curtains didn't close all the way so sun would shine through. We were very happy with our visit.

Maintenance knocked on our door to ask about the wallpaper color when our do not disturb sign was out. Housekeeping never came in three days and it took an hour to get an extra trash bag delivered when they were overflowing. The shower handle was broken. I got an unsolicited email from the assistant manager thanking me for staying and asking how things were, and I shared my feedback but never got a response. It's a nice hotel and location but unfortunately they seem to be having trouble staffing and maintaining it now.

It was new, clean, had enough amenities and the location, if you’re in the area, is also great as there’s a shopping mall with restaurants, coffee shops, clothing stores, gyms and a movie theatre out the front door. My only issue was the water in the shower didn’t get hot - it got warm… at best. The sink water got hot but not the shower. And the temp outside was miserable so I could have used a hot shower. - markfamily (8/5): A Wonderful AC Hotel! - My dad and I stayed at this property for two nights while visiting the Cleveland area this past month. Overall, our stay was very good.
When we checked in, we got a warm welcome from both Mara and Miguel at the front desk. They were both super friendly and assigned us two 2 queen rooms up on the 5th floor facing Pinecrest. (Rooms 530 and 534)
The rooms overall were spotless. I was very impressed with the modern decor throughout the room. I loved the fact that there was no carpet in the room.
The beds however were on the firmer side, however I slept pretty well.
All of the staff that I encountered at this hotel were very pleasant. I had no issues whatsoever with any of them.
The cleanliness was amazing throughout the entire hotel. There are no hidden smells or odors at all in this property! This place is completely allergy friendly.
The location for this property is amazing. You are in the heart of Beachwood and within walking distance to so many shops and restaurants. The area itself felt super safe. It took us only 20 minutes to get to downtown Cleveland.
The only major complaint I had with this property was the a/c unit in the rooms. Getting heat in the rooms was a nightmare. Both of our rooms were super chilly. During the summer this wouldn’t be an issue, but during the winter, it can be an issue.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again! This is our go-to hotel when visiting Cleveland.
I promise you won’t regret staying here! (However, keep in mind that if you stay here during the winter months your room will be chilly)

During a family visit back to Cleveland, my family went down with a stomach bug when visiting with relatives. As we spent time recovering at the hotel, the staff was an encouragement and support to me and our family. From extra help when we needed extra linens several times over multiple days being cooped up to saying hello as we were trying to manage young kids, it was the warmth of hospitality that came through. Thank you again to the entire staff.

The AC Hotel in Beachwood, Ohio, is situated in a pleasant area and has a modern, clean design typical of the AC brand, with a European-inspired decor. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-suited for both business and leisure travelers.
However, my experience with the staff was less than satisfactory. Upon arrival, I waited over 15 minutes at the front desk, which was left unattended, before I was greeted. When I was finally checked in, there was no recognition of my Marriott Bonvoy status, which I found disappointing.
Another evening, I visited the bar and found the staff seemed inconvenienced when I inquired about a food menu. I was quickly informed that there was no chef on duty, but no alternative solutions or suggestions were offered. When I requested a glass of iced tea, I was told they had none. Later, I tried to find snacks at the front desk, but the selection was limited to gum and sodas.
While I understand that management may face challenges with staff availability, it’s essential that customer service is prioritized. Staff should be trained to be more welcoming, attentive, and proactive, especially when guests arrive late and dining options are limited. Simple gestures like eye contact, a smile, and offering alternatives can make a significant difference.
Overall, while the property is lovely and well-located, the customer service experience fell short of expectations for a Marriott brand.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Kinda crappy experience - When we got to the room the toilet was clogged. Asked them to fix it. And also asked to fix the tv remote that didn’t work.
They did neither. The remote was broken but it was also that green M&M thing. Had they fixed one both would have been fixed. So second day we didn’t realize it was still broken til late ate night and my kid had to drop the kids off in the pool. And so it smelled all night. Worse hotels have much better service.

- Courtney (4/5): - I have stayed at the ac marriott beachwood pine crest multiple times in the past and this was the worse experience ive had... i booked via expedia and paid for my stay before i arrived. when i checked in i was given a totally different price to pay, i showed what i paid expedia and i was still told it would be a upchargebecuase the room rates are flexible the hostess on friday night was very rude and only help she could give me was talk to the manager the next day which i did and was told by shakira the manager she would get to the bottom of this and let me no by the end of the day Saturday.. Saturday came and went and no answer i went to the front desk to talk with her and she refused to have a conversation with me she walked past me 2x in the lobby while i waited to see her and refused to have a conversation with me... expedia rep called the hotel 2x to speak with her the front deskamswered the phone and trasnferred the call to shakira and she refused to answer the phone. When i checked out i was still left with no answer on the upcharge and a extra $258.00 charged to my account iam hopeful that expedia can get to the bottom of this and i get a refund for the upcharge

We just stayed at AC in beachwood for a family event. We had a great expedience. The hotel appears brand new, very clean and modern finishes. The room was comfortable even with two children. The staff was very friendly everyone said hello and tried to be extremely helpful. Also the hotel is located in an outdoor dining and shopping district which is a great plus, there is a small playground as well across the street and parking in a nice covered lot around the corner
We would definitely stay here again for a trip to this part of Cleveland

The entire city was buzzing with activities associated with the tournament, eclipse, AND opening day. AC Hotel was also busy, but Kelvin at the front desk might us feel welcome and helped us settle in. Thank you for the terrific service!

Bar cocktails were not up to normal AC standards and this one does not have a rooftop bar like most others.
- Safari34628770482 (10/5): Great hotel stay - I stayed this past weekend and really enjoyed my stay. I had two rooms. The rooms were clean and easily accessible. The staff was very inviting and friendly. I had a few questions when I first arrived and Ashanti and Jaylen at the front desk answered them without hesitation. I also had a conversation with the manager Kelvin and he was just as friendly. There is easy access to various dining and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

- Trahon (9/5): I really liked the modern decor and shower fixtures. - I liked the location and close proximity to restaurants and retail stores. The baseboards in the bathroom, I could see hair/debris on the white decorative wall due to mopping.
- davinam695 (8/5): Making a Difference - Overall, it was a pretty good experience. The front office manager, Kelvin, was very helpful and pleasant. The hotel seemed a little understaffed, but my room was clean and comfortable. Kelvin definitely made the difference for our group.
