- Margherita (8/5): Good spot to enjoy CDM for a few days! - The hotel and room are clean, in a quiet area where it’s easy to walk around. The room size and storage available were perfect for a short stay in Mexico City. The personnel was kind and available. The rooms could be better isolated when it comes to the sound, especially as our room was close to the shared living room and we could hear the TV. Everything else was great.

- Saeed (10/5): Nice and comfortable hotel at a great price - My wife and I stayed at the gallery during our 3-day visit in Mexico city. Despite being a small hotel with 6 rooms, it's a lovely place that offers great service. The staff are very kind, friendly, and helpful, the rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was perfect. We stayed at the attic room on the third floor which is super bright and has a lovely skylight. The room has all the essentials including air conditioner, fridge and freezer, electric kettle, microwave, hair dryer, dining table and chairs, sofa, coffee tables plus dishes, utensils, glassware and a lot more. The neighborhood is safe and quiet and a few minute walk to the train station.

Their service was very rude, unprofessional and horrible. Do not book this place if you want to have a nice and proper check in experience.

- Keith (6/5): Expensive, not great value. - The room was spacious, clean with a separate kitchen and a comfortable bed. Relatively quiet except except noises carried up the stairs from the rooms below(noisy children). Breakfast was meager and barely adequate portions. We were willing to a higher price for this hotel anticipating a good breakfast. Be prepared to check out promptly by 11:00 or you will have staff knocking on your door every 5 to 10 minutes. Good location.

- Donald (10/5): - This is the third time we have stayed at the Hotel It is in a great safe residential area close to embassies. The manager, Mabel is extremely helpful with advice and taking care of the clients. Several reasonable small restaurants close by.
- Antonio (4/5): - When I arrived my room was not ready, and receptionist couldn’t find my reservation so she called her supervisor. It took a long time for them to find it, the receptionist did her best to get room ready. Their advertising showed a complimentary bottle of wine, I reminded night staff but she said “she will talk to supervisor and let me know in the morning “ nobody said anything next day and nothing was given to me or even a “ sorry “ about this. This hotel definitely needs to improve a lot if they want to have more people staying at their place
- Constance (10/5): Perfect Base for Exploring CDMX - The manager Mabel was very helpful. She was patient with my bad Spanish so that all our communications were successful. She booked taxis for me a couple of times so that I could get a flat fee quote. The property is staffed 24-7: you ring the doorbell and someone lets you in. This makes the building very secure. Even though the rooms have kitchenettes, they have a kitchen and staff will cook breakfast for you, such as an omelet or molletes. There is coffee downstairs 24/7. I took my coffee up to the rooftop terrace in the mornings and my wine in the evenings. Had some conversations with other guests up there. The neighborhood is fantastic - beautiful and walkable, including the famous shady pedestrian/biking paths (Avenidas Mazatlán and Amsterdam.) Lots of good restaurants and two major CDMX parks nearby, both with audioramas. There can be noise from an active meditation group next door during the day. Closing my room windows, along with my handy Mack's silicon earplugs allowed me to get my naps in however. Public transportation was difficult in November 2024, because Linea 1 on the Metro is being renovated (this will last a long time.) Online data for bus stops and lines is not accurate: using public transportation in this part of the city was trial and error for me. I probably should have used Uber (other guests found it satisfactory.)

That being said, there were a few things that I felt were not up to par given the price for this property: - water pressure in the shower was non-existent, and hot water was inconsistent - the TV remote batteries were dead, so we had to swap out batteries in order to control the box - property seems a bit old, so even though it was clean, it still felt a bit dirty
- Emmarilis (8/5): - This quaint hotel was located in the Condesa neighborhood about 25 minutes from Palacio de Bellas Artes (without traffic). It is within walking distance to Chapultepec Castle. It was easy to grab an Uber. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The hot water however was a bit fidgety and would get cold after a few minutes. Other than that the room was okay. We did not get the of wine that should have been included. Breakfast was filling, they offered fruit, tea/coffee, toast and your choice of omelette and hot cakes. The was staff was very nice and attentive.

- Barbara (7/5): I am rethinking of staying in anything less than a real hotel again,,,this place was tiny,,,hot,,,no - this place charged me for two nights,,,I only booked and stayed for one. I paid on arrival what they insisted on cause i was tired and needed a room to rest. the clerk spoke zero English,,,my Spanish is poor...and I paid what they wanted to get on with it...and hoping Bookings will solve this. I had a room on 3rd floor so i had to walk up and down 3 flights of winding stairs....this was opposite of my request. The clerk gavbe me a bottle of wine for my troubles....

- Nina (10/5): Exceptional - I loved the energy of the woman working here, super friendly, helpful and I felt super safe and supported. I was travelling with my little dog and a lot of bags which is not always super smooth but I got help with my bags and I felt very welcomed with my dog. I got help to store my bags in their office before I left to the airport and I got 2 hours later checkout upon request which really made my life easier on my journey. I highly recommend this place- clean, nice kitchen and good vibes

Facilities were just what we needed. The staff was superb. Extremely helpful in every way. making arrangements, taxis etc. They took good care of us

- Phuong (8/5): Good studio apartment in a convenient and safe location - Good place to stay for a week in CDMX. There is someone at the front desk 24h. The location is very good and the property felt safe. The studio was clean with a comfortable bed. There is a kitchenette with refrigerator, sink, plates, cups and utensils. The full kitchen on the first floor can be used by all guests as well. The personnel was friendly and approachable. The Wifi in my room worked well. Right across from the building, there is a place where people meet and have sessions that include loud music and screaming (per receptionist this is supposedly some form of noise therapy). Luckily these do not last too long, but could be annoying if you wanted to rest at the same time.
- Daphne (10/5): The perfect option in Mexico City!!!! - We loved our stay here at the Gallery. Perfect oasis to return to after a busy day of sight seeing in Mexico City. Our room had a wonderful kitchenette/with fridge and a very comfy bed. La Condesa is the BEST area in Mexico City and this hotel is located right in the centre of it. Nothing, this place is spectacular for the price! Very good value!

- Lucy (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing team of staff, I was not able to get early check-in but was able to leave my luggage locked with reception and hang around the living room and kitchen area. They have bikes you can use which was a lovely way to explore the city!

- Ricardo (4/5): Decent place but I wont stay there again. - Staff is kind, and the rooms are very clean. When you are checking in you have to pay up front, and the person receiving the payment calculates dollar to Mexican pesos conversion and gives you an amount to pay different than the one set when booking the room. That would be few dollars more but still it is cumbersome. The location is good, but not great at night you are far from restaurants located by Parque Espana, so at night you have to walk empty streets. Kitchen is not be be used as the price per day is not cheap to make long stay plans. Others: No coffee in the room. No elevator (3rd floor room), the rooms are facing interior looking at al wall. Hot water slow to show at the shower.

They told us they'd drop a coffee machine but they n3ver did. We were charged extra $30 converting the $rate to Mexican $ but they put their own rate which was not the correct rate in the market.

- David (10/5): Mostly fabulous - Friendly and helpful staff! The room and grounds were clean and comfortable. One thing I did not enjoy was my room being close to a neighboring wellness center that played loud music most mornings and evenings. Other than that my stay was great. This part of Condesa is fantastic with lots of restaurants nearby. The metro is a 10 minute walk.
- kathy (10/5): - The room was just as it looked in the photos. The staff was friendly and helpful. Some spoke English and others were very willing to struggle through in Spanish with us. The neighbourhood felt very safe. It was great to stay in a local neighbourhood that did not feel touristy. There was some traffic noise at night, especially on the weekend but not enough to stop us from staying again. There were lots of restaurants and corner stores close by. The room was spacious and comfortable. We will stay again!
- Eric (10/5): Affordable and comfortable - Spacious and filled with natural light, the apartment was a delight. There are also numerous common spaces in the roof, a dining room and courtyard. The neighborhood is beautiful with numerous places for either street food, low or high end restaurants. The staff is continuously on the premises and for is opened personally by staff. Feels very secure. Very friendly staff. It's hard to avoid all odors from the sewers, but a removable rubber cap on the drain might reduce them.

- Leo (10/5): Clean and cozy apartment in a safe quiet neighborhood - It is in a safe neighborhood with lots of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment is clean, bed is comfortable, shower is hot with good water pressure and a nice little rooftop where you can chill out. The staff are friendly and helpful as well. Nothing.

Llegamos en una temporada de frío y sí haría falta que hubiera aunque fuera un pequeño calentador. Un poco molesto el tema del depósito que piden, a mí nunca me había pasado.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - La verdad está muy a gusto y muy bonito el lugar. Solo quizá valga la pena mejorar el lavado de algunos elementos de la habitación y verificar el ruido durante la noche.
- Eduardo (6/5): Lindo y práctico lugar, pero muy ruidoso - Muy lindo hotel boutique situado en el corazón de la Condesa. El personal de seguridad fue muy amable. Sin embargo, el lugar es muy ruidoso. Mi reservación indicaba que tendría una habitación con vista al patio y me dieron una con vista a la calle. El ruido de afuera era fuerte y a partir de las 6:30am se escuchaba la música y gritos de una clase de deportiva que venía de un edificio cercano. La presión del agua de la regadera era baja y el calentador no funcionó bien. Fuera de esos detalles, el hotel es agradable.

Super duper cute, clean, good neighborhood, though a bit quiet at the time during COVID) Sofa bed isn't a pullout as expected, but a flip down back, but was still quite large. Great showers, very comfy bed. We were a bit loud during our stay, and I apologize to the hotel for that!!!! :) I would for sure stay again, if the cost wasn't so high (I used an expiring credit)
