My wife and I were looking for a base to stay for 11 days in the Perigord / North Dordogne to allow us to explore the area and found this fantastic "petit chateau" on the outskirts of Thiviers. A large villa in its own extensive garden with plenty of space in which to relax. William the host and Joseph the chef were very friendly, relaxed and attentive. Evening meals (on request) were delightful and freshly prepared and enjoyed sat on the patio by the outdoor pool - we ate with them for 7 nights. William is a knowledgeable host having worked extensively in the hotel and hospitality trade in both France and the UK. He will ensure that you are well looked after and may even tell you a tale or two from his exploits over the years. We will definitely be returning.
