Guest Reviews
- Harper (9/5): Pleasurable and quaint - Location central to many towns and sites. Cozy upstairs. Very quiet and bed was comfortable. Had everything needed for short or long term stay. Parking on site not on narrow streets which was a bonus. Nothing everything was to par.
- John (10/5): Very relaxing and peaceful - Cosy and welcoming and very close to town. Ideal location for us. Nothing
- Ashlea (10/5): Wonderful few days away, very relaxing with everything we needed to hand - Perfect location for the village and all the other Cotswolds villages. We were left a bottle of prosecco and a bottle of milk which was a nice touch. Toilet rolls, washing up liquid and t towels were all provided. The bathroom was lovely with some shower gel and hand soap for us to use.
We would love to return. If you have mobility problems it is worth knowing there is a toilet downstairs not upstairs
- Barry (8/5): Nice accommodation and facilities but complimentary arrival pack would have been nice -
- Lisa (10/5): Lovely spacious cottage for 2 people, easy access to Cotswold villages - Another beautiful village location, easy walking into the centre. Very accessible to all Cotswold villages.
Super comfortable cottage, with spacious living room and kitchen. The bed was only a double, so was a little on the small side, but was very comfortable
- Susan Bay (10/5): Cottage delight. - Delightful cottage with everything we could have asked for. It was a short walk to town yet all the privacy and comfort we enjoy. Lovely private garden. Nothing
- Kelly (10/5): Beautiful cottage in a great area. Perfect for couples. - The cottage was beautiful and I’m such a lovely area. We liked everything. Wish we could have stayed longer.
- Giselle (9/5): Great place to stay - Very quaint cottage with lovely gardens. Has a nearby shortcut to the main centre which is very handy. Local brochures and information provided are outdated
- Stanley (10/5): - Perfect base to explore the Cotswolds. Delightful garden. Lovely hosts.
- Jane (10/5): - Perfect location and loved the garden can’t wait t go back Nothing
- Kevin (10/5): Very comfortable stay! - Beautiful garden, private, stylish and lots of room. Great location close to downtown. Washing machine was handy.
- Beryl (8/5): Thoroughly enjoyed it - Provide basics. Eg. Washing up liquid, small dust pan and brush,
- Bruce (7/5): Conveniently located and attractive cottage - Property was well positioned in the lovely small town of Chipping Campden, and free parking was very convenient.
Property was externally attractive, clean inside with a well set up kitchen and a semi-private outside sitting area. The lounge area was spacious. Not overly keen on the bathroom being on a separate floor to the bedroom, which had low ceilings in some spots, and the bedroom blinds didn't stop much of the early morning light.
- Robin (10/5): Exceptional - Very well equipped. Super comfy. Gorgeous garden. Short walk to the high street. Would stay again. Definitely recommend.
- Michael (9/5): A beautiful but flawed cottage - Excellent location lovely garden and very well appointed. However we as many other guests had some issues. The bed mattress was too soft as were the pillows. Actually the bed seemed small plus the sloping ceiling were a challenge. The main problem however was the downstairs toilet making the nighttime visits very hazardous. The property is just not suitable for elderly people . The lounge needed a second settee as the 3 chairs were quite uncomfortable.
- Graeme (9/5): Superb - Beautiful cottage in an excellent location for short walk to Chipping Campden village centre.
- Lisa (10/5): Cornerstone Cottage was the perfect base for us as we enjoyed the beautiful Chipping Camden and surrounding towns. - It was light and bright, and very comfortable.
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): Third time here for us and have already booked next for next year! - Very comfortable cottage and most convenient for walking in to town Nothing
- Charles (8/5): A good location from which to explore the Cotswolds - Good size cottage. Well renovated. Excellent central heating system. Well equipped. Comfortable bed No upstairs toilet
- Tanya (8/5): Great location - Location great, area nice and quiet Bed very soft.
- Sharon (7/5): Good - The cottage was beautiful with a great location. The bed was not very comfortable.
- Lorna (9/5): A pretty, well presented cottage, conveniently located for amenities and a visit to the north Cotswo - N/A The woodlice, although I could see efforts were being made to deal with them
- Robert (9/5): Superb - Property was clean; good facilities; lovely bathroom; convenient car parking space; we felt very welcome on arrival. Mattress & bed softer than we're used to
- Sheila (9/5): In a great quiet location and perfect size for a couple. -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Stunning location, beautiful cottage. - Beautiful, quaint and picturesque cottage, would definitely recommend and go back. Stunning location. Nothing.
- Douglas (9/5): Comfortable that allowed us easy access to the town and a great base to explore the Cotswolds - Well equipped cottage.
Everything very comfortable
easy parking, with 10 mins to walk gently to town centre
Thanks for welcoming sparkling wine Nothing we did not like.
One observation (not criticism) about the RSJ from kitchen area to living room. You step down but immediately have a ceiling coloured RSJ esp if over 6ft tall.
- Beryl (10/5): Absolutely wonderful - Breakfast was not provided Prefer ordinary cooker, not ever used air oven
- Liana (7/5): Nice place but a bit on the old side. - Pretty outdoor area and lots of room inside. Good cooking facilities. A bit silly that we had to walk down a staircase to go to the toilet during the night. The place is a bit old. There is a washing machine but no dryer.
The bed upstairs is old and the mattress needs to be replaced.
- Michael (10/5): A very charming and interesting area in which to spend several days. - The guitar was a nice inclusion I have missed playing. It might seem a small thing but in warmer weather it's too hot to sleep under a duvet, a top sheet should be provided.
- Christine (10/5): Lovely location. Within walking distance of pubs, restaurants and shops. - Quiet location. Nothing.
- Jonathan (9/5): A delightful stay in a delightful town. - Perfect location, just a few minutes walk into the town centre. The parking place was a blessing. The cottage was beautifully presented and immaculately clean. The living area and bedroom were very spacious and airy. The sofa was very comfortable. The kitchen area was a little cramped but adequate. The shower room was spacious and the shower was lovely. A lovely welcome pack included prosecco and chocolates! The wifi connection was good and appreciated. The lovely garden area was perfect for relaxing in the sun. Our only complaints were the washbasin which was rather small and only really suitable for finger dipping and the tub chairs which were very uncomfortable after a few minutes.
- Kevin (9/5): Superb -
- Bernice (8/5): Lovely break in a quiet cottage - Good location and parking
Clean and cozy cottage
Well equipped Bed uncomfortable and would have preferred king size bed
Bathroom downstairs
Sofa was small although a larger one would have fitted in the space but tub chairs were uncomfortable. Also something to put your feet up would have been nice
- Michael (10/5): Would definitely stay again, perfect for Chipping Camden , our favourite place in the Cotswolds. - Fantastic location, really sweet little place, just perfect in every way, super clean and super cosy , beautiful little touches.
It was nearly Christmas and there was a lovely little Christmas tree in the cottage, very thoughtful. Nothing
- John (10/5): Fab u lous - Second visit . Love everything about this cottage / location / garden . Didn’t meet hosts but everything provided and welcoming . Peace / relaxing and quiet . Will go back following year to this delightful place . Nothing to dislike all perfect
- Gordon (9/5): Superb -
- Izzy (10/5): Gorgeous quiet get away! - Such a lovely property, the little touches from the hosts as a welcome were so lovely too! The shower is outstanding. Nothing!
- Elizabeth (9/5): Chipping Camden is just a lovely Cotswolds village and Cornerstone cottage was the ideal stay. - Cosy and lovely Strangely I never received the code for the lock box prior to my arrival. Thankfully helpful neighbour was able to make contact on my behalf. Also I was a little disappointed that there was no hair dryer..?
- Preet (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (9/5): Convenient base for a short stay in Chipping Camden. - Good location close to the centre of Chipping Camden. Comfortable and well equipped. Modern bathroom. Entry by lockbox. Expensive relative to other properties of that size and standard but I guess that's down to the location.
- Erin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (8/5): Very good - Fabulous location with parking. Very clean and well presented. Lovely courtyard garden. It would have been nice to have a larger sofa as the 2 seater is on the small side and not comfy if you want an evening in.
- Graham (9/5): Superb -
- Beverley (10/5): Perfect cottage for a Cotswold stay. - This beautiful cottage is ideally located close to all the shops, cafes, pubs in Chipping Campden. Easy quick access to walks to all our favourite villages. Comfortable bed, excellent little kitchen, relaxing lounge area and fantastic bathroom. The garden is delightful for spending some quiet time with a book and a glass of bubbles. Highly recommend! Nothing everything wad perfect.
- Mattuk1 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heidi (10/5): A quaint village get away. - From Cornerstone cottage, you can walk to town. A relaxing stay when you are tired of the hotels! very clean and comfortable.
- Isabell (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lani (10/5): It was like being in a fairy tale cottage! - The cottage was absolutely adorable! It is very roomy and has all the amenities. Although we didn’t really use the kitchen for cooking, it was lovely having it there. We especially loved the garden area, which we used to relax in after touring the area. We were incredibly pleased with having a clothes washer, as we’d been traveling a while and desperately needed to do laundry. The location was perfect…. just a short walk into town. We highly recommend this fairy tale cottage! Nothing!!!!
- Les (8/5): Well situated, clean and comfortable. - The situation in the Town and in the Cotswolds. Not a problem but we would have preferred the bathroom upstairs
- Bethan (9/5): Superb -
- R (9/5): Superb -
- Janette (9/5): Perfect location, tranquil & secluded, in a beautiful town. - A really lovely cottage in the northern region of the Cotswolds and easy to get to. Quietly situated off the main road, own parking space, adjacent but private from owners house (in fact we never saw them). Had everything we needed, an easy stroll to the beautiful main road of CC, church, pubs, & restaurants. Be sure to walk to Dovers Hill up the Cotswold Way. Not much. If I’m pressed to answer …. I’d say the garden needed a bit of a tend to
- Mattuk1 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (10/5): Perfect base from which to explore the Cotswolds. - Cosy comfortable cottage in an excellent location.
- Courtney (10/5): brilliant. just brilliant. - the cottage is so charming. The pictures don’t do it justice. It is even more fabulous than it looks. From the charming private garden to the lovely china and detail to every detail, it far exceeded our expectations! nothing! it was absolutely perfect in every way.
- Michel (9/5): Superb - Lovely cottage, well equipped and cozy, the shower was great. Nice garden area to relax in and enjoy a bottle of wine while watching the bees flitting from flower to flower, peaceful and quiet. Located a ten minute walk from Chipping Campden's centre so well located
- Hannah (10/5): Perfect stay in a beautiful village - Beautifully decorated, cosy and well equipped. Bottle of Prosecco and a pint of milk waiting for us on arrival - both very appreciated. Brilliant location on a quiet back road but just a few mins walk to the village centre. If we could make one suggestion, it would be to swop the currently small sofa for an L shaped to make it better for cosying up / lounging. But this is minor in the context of an overall wonderful cottage.
- Carl (10/5): A fantastic end-to-end experience at a well looked after property - The cottage is very nicely decorated, all very clean and it has a perfect mix of cottage character in its decoration and style however not neglecting the comfort of a modern bathroom or good appliances in the kitchen. Having nice linens and nice, paper sized towels is worth another star to the owners. The location is very good either to go for a wall into town or to drive to other places nearby. The parking space is very convenient and enough space to comfortably parking even a larger SUV. All in all a fantastic end-to-end experience at a well looked after property. There is nothing there not to like.
- Susan (10/5): perfect and we will be booking again - we loved everything ,the location was perfect we visited some lovely places ,the property was very clean and cosy.I would recommend this cottage to anyone nothing
- Ali (10/5): cozy and beautiful. - amazing property, very cozy, extremely well kept and clean. a lot of thought has gone in to the layout. very grateful for the effort owners put in. nothing. all good.
- Brian (10/5): A beautiful well organised house close to a stunning village. Can't wait to return. - The location of the property was excellent because it was only a 10 minute walk to the village and was in a safe and quiet environment. Having your own car parking space was a bonus. The instructions for picking up the keys were very clear. The interior of the property was of a very high standard and had everything you needed. The outside area was lovely with a terrace, garden furniture and a beautiful garden. I would have liked a higher tog duvet or more blankets for the bed.
- Alyson (9/5): A lovely cottage, well situated, comfortable home from home. - It was comfortable and great location. could do with a few more kitchen bits to allow you to cook a full meal - a larger oven
- Mabel (10/5): BRILLIANT - SPECIAL THANKS TO RICHARD AND JACKIE ALL GOOD
