• Ferruccio (10/5): Barossa wine region roadie - A fabulous well appointed roomy property. Off-street parking was a bonus. The patio will be great in the summer. The staff were very attentive. Service provider outage took out internet access, but it was restored later in the day.

• George (8/5): Attractive accommodation that could have been a bit better. - Comfortable accommodation both inside and out. Great kitchen and amenities/ comfortable beds. Thought we had booked a 2 bathroom apt which actually only had one bathroom. Bathroom could have had more than one towel rail and some hanging hooks behind the door. Shower rose also had little pressure. Apartment was on a main road which was noisy especially with Police activity during the first night and TV reporter(s) early the next morning!!

• Deb (10/5): Beautiful place to stay - We loved the whole experience of this gorgeous property. From the moment we walked in everything was perfect. So lovely and clean - lots of room to spread out. A luxury when you are travelling! The shower pressure was really poor although lovely and hot. It is a shame as the bathroom facilities are beautiful and luxurious.

Two separate bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Very clean and decorated beautifully. The water flow on the showers isn't great.

I would stay here again. - The Flaxley Apartments (Apartment 1) is beautifully decorated accommodation, which is very comfortable and conveniently located. The property has everything that you need in a home away from home. Location was fantastic as it’s only approx 1.5km from the town centre. The bed is comfortable, the towels are plush and a good size (bath sheet size). There is ample parking for two vehicles if required. Access to the property was easy with the key padlock being very easy to find. The shower has very low water pressure.

• Mareea (8/5): Lovely accommodation. Just needs the finer touches. - Loved the location, it was beautiful and clean, hosts were good to communicate with. Not enough pillows for the beds, shower heads were terrible. Minimal water comes out.

Stylish, yet homely. - Information was backed up by a text message welcome as has happened previously - which makes the guest experience much more intimate and personal. The connection with a personal email and a small message is a small detail but a very welcoming touch That I was unable to stay longer !! ( But that limitation was imposed by schedule)

• Sharon (8/5): Very good - The interior was lovely. There was a great walking track adjacent to the property that went into Mt Barker. Enjoyed the pretty walk. The noise from the traffic as it abutted a main road. That wasn't apparent in the photo of the exterior of the house. I thought it was a more rural location from the photo shown via the website.

Very minor issues which could easily be resolved. Tv mounted way too high on wall in lounge so you get a sore neck when watching. Shower roses only emit water stream from outside holes No bbq

The property owners were prompt in answering issues regarding Wi-Fi access. Being located near a busy road, we thought that there should have been double glazing of the windows to prevent traffic noise. No extra pillows were available, although there were adequate cushions.

• Ian (10/5): A very comfortable place with great vibes and Hosts that understand the finer things in life. - The property was spacious ,comfortable and had everything catered for. We would have loved to stay longer as the kitchen was so good. Wi-Fi was a little slow but we generally use our own phones.

• Winston (10/5): - Really beautiful property in Mt Barker, 10 mins drive to Hahndorf. It is super clean and amenities are very complete. Great if you want to cook and dine at home instead of going out. Rooms are very quiet even though it is next to the main road. Beds are king size and very comfortable. You also get Netflix if you have nothing else to do. There are great personal touches from the owners including a bottle of local wine and Tim Tams. The only negative is the lack of lightings to the property entrance at night. Even with GPS, we managed to missed it twice. Just be aware and drive safe. Otherwise it is just a perfect property to stay while enjoying Adelaide Hills.

The entire experience was delightful, I have recommended to others and hope to revisit My only criticism was the quality of the pillows could have been more aligned to the quality of the soft furnishings. This seems picky but was my only observation that would add value to a very comfortable residence

• David (10/5): Exceptional - This place was excellent. Near the town of Mt Barker and close to amenities, but far enough away that you had piece and quiet. Was exceptionally clean, beds were amazingly comfortable, and basic provisions were provided. Parking on site. Each room and lounge room had their own TV. Only thing that needs to be looked at is potentially the tv remote batteries for one of the bedrooms. But we weren't in town to watch TV.

Great location for day adventures to Barossa, Victor Harbour, Handorf, Adelaide Hills and many nearby villages. Beautiful property. Clean, comfortable. Beautiful decor and finishings in property. Nothing.
