- Claire (5/5): Ok but would not call this luxury - Location fine, it was a swim out lagoon, nice to have a washing machine and dryer Opposite the child's pool & bar so always a bit noisy, very dated and worn furniture and apartment, this place shared a car park with another apartment so you're not always guaranteed a place to park, stepping into shower/bath combo is extremely high (both adults in my group struggled to step in and had to do so very carefully as the lip of the bath was mid thigh)

- Claire (10/5): Perfect family holiday! - We had a perfect week in this amazing apartment. We will definitely be back! It was super clean, spacious and had just about everything we could need. We loved that there was a bath for the kids and plenty of extra towels. The washing machine & dryer was also really handy, as was the large clothes airer outside. Really appreciated plenty of dishwasher tablets and bin bags - more than enough for the week. Our kids absolutely loved the swim out pool and it was great that it wasnt too deep. The main part of the pool has lots of shallow areas, perfect for our 4yo without making him feel like he had to be in the kiddy pool away from everyone. No real deal breakers... not having an allocated car space was annoying at times, however I'm sure it would be worse in peak season. The food at the restaurant was very average for the price - wouldn't eat there again.
- Calez (6/5): Probably wouldnât book this property again, the room needs some love and updating in order to justify the cost that we p - The pool and location was fabulous There was lots in the property that wasnât operational and untidy. The coffee machine wasnât working, we only had a supply of one toilet roll, 2 dishwashing tablets. 2 laundry liquids for a stay of 6 nights. The tv in the main bedroom wasnât working, the lights to the oven and microwave didnât work so was hard to operate those, the bathroom sink was leaking so all of our toiletries got soaking wet and had to drain the water out. The tap to the bath didnât work so we had to use the shower to fill it up. We also didnât know at the time of booking that this was a private suite, so we had to pay for all the services we used at the facilities each time which was frustrating. Also, we didnât know that we couldnât park our car in the designated car park even though the map we received showed us which park to use, instead we had to park in visitors carparks which the only ones available all week were at the very front of the property, leaving us to lug all of our luggage with 3 small children such a long way and each morning and night when we returned we faced the same issue. Would have been nice to park in the proper car park.

- Rosie (8/5): Great for short stay of relaxing. - The private pool access enabled you to escape the business of the main pool area, enabling a nice place to relax/read. The large (spa) bath was amazing, but you need to be agile to get in/out. Double sink was good. Bed was very comfy and large. Gym was reasonable but it was strange having the cardio machines separate from the strength area (so needed access card to change areas). No kitchenette sink area. Had to wash the dishes in the bathroom sink. Some mould spots on blinds (toilet area and window blinds). Only one bed lamp was unusual.

Reasonable buffet brekky at the resort. Quick drive into Port Douglas but resort quiet and secluded. Note that this apartment is privately managed - meaning pay as you go at resort facilities, no housekeeping, etc - not a huge issue but didn't realise when I was booking. No microwave in room a little frustrating. Minimal toiletries for week stay and again, because privately owned, nothing replenished. But overall a lovely stay, just more like an AirBnB within a resort.

The apartment is modern and incredibly spacious, with a beautiful view overlooking the pool and mountains. Everything was thoughtfully set up, from the well-equipped appliances in kitchen, bathroom, and laundry, which made our stay so comfortable and effortless. The rooftop area with the spa was a real highlightâperfect for unwinding after a day out. The staff were genuinely friendly, and a special thank you to Juanita, who worked her magic and kindly upgraded our room. We were absolutely delighted and truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture! The information about the relationship between the hotel and the private apartments was not clear at the time of booking, so there was a bit of confusion initially.

- Christina (8/5): We had a great stay-we loved having direct swimming pool access. - The Sea Temple resort is really nice. We had a swim out apartment which was very nice and easy with our children. Also felt safe with the gates on the balcony. The beds and sofas were all comfortable and it was nice to have a barbecue available to use. We had a lovely stay-thank you. Some extra plates and bowls would have been helpful. We are a family of 5 so had just the right number and there was no spare for serving up food etc. It would be really helpful if some washing up liquid could be provided too (we had to buy a whole bottle for our few days stay). It would also be helpful if a travel cot and highchair could be included in the cost of the stay. It was a very tight fit to get our car into the garage space but this wasnât a problem as there were other visitor spaces available nearby.

New dishwasher, new dryer, fan on the balcony donât work. Tsp in the bathroom leaks badly. Shower head leaks very badly. All in all a good stay just needs minimal maintenance up-keeping.

Would happily return, good for all ages, and family groups. A little way out of town so hiring a car or relying on shuttle services. Very basic kitchen supplies for eating in. Some cupboards, ie glasses and cups, very high for "height challenged" guests.

Apartment itself was quite comfortable. Quite far away from main street in Port Douglas. There is a shuttle bus, however it's $30 return trip and only goes till 9pm. The toaster kept tripping the power to apartment which was quite annoying as we didnt realise all the power was out on one side of the apartment where the fridge was, abd by time we realised we had to throw away about $150 worth of food.

- Catherine (6/5): Fair, not luxury, room for improvement. - Huge swimming pool, quite location, full sized apartment. Both indoor and outdoor furniture was very dirty. Paint peeling off the ceiling. Nothing to hold garden dirt in the garden, so dirt all over outside flooring. The whole property needs to have a high pressure washer to clean it up! Dryer was not working, so had to be replaced. Somebody should have checked this before we arrived.

- Jessica (4/5): Overall disappointed. - The pool was really gorgeous! We loved that part. Facilities weren't great. Of a 7 night stay, the pool bar was only open 2 afternoons, which was not what we expected or thought we paid for. Staff there were lazy and rude. Seriously would have gone to Thailand had we known. Unit upstairs was being renovated. Probably a one-off situation, but still really impacted our enjoyment, with debris falling into our bathroom from bathroom above and drilling from 8am all day, most days. Rooms don't get serviced at all. Everything smelled very musty after a day or so.

- Christine (9/5): Clean, comfortable, spacious and close to the centre. Highly recommend A+ - I was quite impressed with the property. The bedrooms are spacious, and the unit has a kitchen and a large lounge/dining area. There is a separate bedroom/unit, with a spa, which is handy for some alone time with your partner. The facility is close to the town centre (if you have transportation), and the Daintree & Mossman is just a hop, skip away. Nothing worth noting.

- Matthew (8/5): Comfortable and well located - The walk in pool access - so great with the kids. Comfortable beds and towels were good quality. Also included pool towels which was a great touch. It had a moldy smell and looked a bit tired in general, probably due an update. No welcome basket but we have been spoilt in the past. No board games or extras. Comfortable and perfectly nice, just missing some personal touches. Maybe this is typical of an apartment in a resort.

- Chris (7/5): Loved the location and the facilities of the resort, but please give the room a deep clean for the next visitors. - The pool with connecting lagoons and the ability to swim out from your apartment was awesome. Made for a special stay. The room needed a very good clean. Trying to cover up the damp smell of mould with overpowering defusers just didnât work. Damp smelling lounges, mould throughout the shower, bathroom and bed base in the main bedroom really detracted from the fantastic location. No cleaning products or equipment to even vacuum the floor didnât help.

- Evelyn (10/5): A piece of Sunshine. Luxurious, restful, and family friendly. - The apartment was fantastic, with two bedrooms a comfortable kitchen, laundry, and lounge area. It was clean and very well thought out (user friendly). There was even a balcony that we could lounge on and upstairs access to a BBQ area and spa that you only share with the apartments in your block, not all the guests of the resort. It was nice having access to all the resort amenities, including the pools and gym. If you're into Spa treatments, the spa centre near the main reception is something you should check out. It smells amazing and the spa therapists there are fanstastic. The only way this could be better would be for it to be located on Macrossan St (the main high street of Port Douglas), but it's only a 5 min drive and there is a car garage included in the stay. Worth having a car for convenience and also sight seeing.
