Guest Reviews
- Eileen (9/5): Superb - Superbly eco-renovated farmhouse. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was above and beyond the usual B&B fare. Spacious room & bathroon, with a comfodtable bed. The parking was a bit tight. Would have prefererd a socket on both sides of the bed.
- Kevin (10/5): Great value for money. Highly recommended - Everything is 10/10. It feels like home. Everything was perfect.
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Jane (10/5): simply wonderful! - It’s not often you arrive at a B&B and it exceeds expectations! This little gem was far better than the photos suggested! High spec, wonderful hosts and lovely and quiet.
There are coastal walks on the doorstep but best if you have a car or use public transport for travelling around. There is nothing to dislike!
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional - Happy friendly hosts who took an interest in each guests plans. Clean and comfortable room which was well maintained. Large selection of breakfast options and hot drinks available.
- Pauline (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful, friendly and informative hosts.
Amazing breakfast , best I've experienced in a B&B.
Comfortable and relaxing accommodation .
Absolutely spotless . Nothing
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - The accommodation was wonderful.
It was calm, extremely clean, food excellent and the hosts were lovely.
Location was great for us, we walked into Weymouth and got the bus back, only £2.00 each. Nothing, can not fault it.
- Philip (6/5): Pleasant -
- Xuebing (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great... breakfast was superb, top quality ingredients, all local products, nice prepared, and cooked to restaurant standard.
The room was clean, and it is a type of clean that you do for your own home.
Very friendly couple, will definitely use it again. Nothing
- Sumeet (10/5): Amazing stay - It was a wonderful stay, the room was clean and spacious, the views were very calming. The hosts, Charles and Sharon, were amazing! We truly appreciate their kindness and hospitality. The breakfast was homemade and served every morning fresh, based on our choices. The location was great for those who want to access coastline trails. In summary, it was an amazing stay, and we would definitely recommend it and would be coming back. No complaints at all
- Andrew (10/5): Very nice. - Our room was beautifully kitted out and decorated, it was exceptional. The location is a little busy but we'll located for local shops and only 10 minutes to Weymouth. The vegetarian breakfast was good. The tea, coffee, and water station in the main dining/lounge area was really welcome and plentiful.
- Marilyn (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely property
Very friendly yet professional
Spotlessly clean Nothing
- Ari (10/5): Exceptional -
- Derek (10/5): Short, but very comfortable and pleasant stay - Food and service was excellent, good variety.
We are not vegetarian but enjoyed everything.
- Benjamin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martina (2/5): Very poor - I was so excited to finally have a couple days break this summer. I was looking forward to disconnect in the countryside and to enjoy the famed vegetarian breakfast.
The host welcomed me in the evening, showed me around and I filled the booking form for breakfast, I chose the 9.30-10am slot and even joked I will need to sleep in after the long drive.
The building is nice, modern and clean inside, and there's a good selection of herbal teas that guests can help themselves to, which I really liked. The well with the colourful lights is a show stopper for sure.
That's where the positives ended for me unfortunately. I had my dinner and tried to sleep, only to realise the room was uncomfortably hot. I love sleeping with the window open, but even that didn't help the temperature. I'm someone who generally likes the heat, but this was definitely too much.
There was a small portable AC unit in the room but it was so loud that, even at the lowest setting, it was bothering me even through my ear plugs while barely cooling the room temperature. I went back to the open window option and tried to sleep to no avail. The mattress was also kind of hard for my taste (no springs) and dipped on one side, I just couldn't get comfortable. The building is next to a busy road and in the early morning I had to close the window and go back to the shouty AC. I must have finally passed out when my alarm rang. I had a hard time but dragged myself downstairs looking forward to breakfast. I got down at 10am but didn't see anyone so I waited around hoping that my breakfast would be waiting for me.
Finally a lady with a Henry appeared and looked surprised that I was there. She said it was too late for breakfast but would ask in the kitchen. She looked for confirmation from the husband but he wouldn't even come out of the kitchen and talk to me. Apparently my breakfast was "thrown away" as I didn't come down early enough.
- Gabriella (10/5): Exceptional - Charles and Sharon were really lovely. Their home is a dream home for anyone. Breakfast was excellent. We can just recommend to everyone this accommodation who wants relaxing . ----
- Shahadat (10/5): Exceptional - Very good service. Really nice place to stay. Charles and his wife were very welcoming, kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and will be going back in the future.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Detlev (9/5): Superb - Excellent breakfast!

- David (10/5): Lovely place to stay with great hosts - My mother and I had a lovely weekend staying at Tidmoor Farm. Charles and his wife were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them, Very Clean and tidy. Very close to a bus stop on a direct route to Weymouth town Would definitely recommend staying
- Maren (10/5): Outstanding and truly special B&B - perfect to explore the Jurassic Coast - Exceptionally welcoming B&B with a cosy and modern style at the same time. The vegetarian and vegan breakfast was not only outstanding in taste, but also presented in a lovely way with attention to detail. The hosts Sharon and Charles created a truly unique place and are always there to help. Nothing!
- Debbie (9/5): Restful, peaceful and just what I was hoping for. - The accomodation was exceptionally clean, comfortable and welcoming. The owners were friendly, helpful and charming. Everything was great.
- Sarah (10/5): incredible!! 5 stars - Amazing stay at Tidmoor Farm spacious, clean, modern room.
Breakfast is the best I’ve had, it was delicious.
Hosts Charles and Sharon go out their way to accommodate you and make you feel welcome in their stunning home. I loved it and will definitely be back nothing
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay - A really nice b & b with great owners. Really recommended.
- James (10/5): Recommended B&B - Great stay. The bed is comfortable, shower/bath is excellent. Good location near many local sites of interest. Breakfast was fantastic. We hope to stay here again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Friendly vegetarian B & B - We couldn't get there the day we planned because of horrendous traffic jams and road closures, but it was easy to communicate with Charles and reshedule to arrive the following day. The house is on a busy road, from which you can easily catch a bus to Weymouth. The property has fields and many quiet walks to coast to the rear. Although our room was facing the road it was very quiet if the window was kept closed. The only downside is that we found the bedroom rather warm at night, a fan was provided but my husband is very sensitive to noise so we did not use it. The accommodation is lovely, with a good choice of vegetarian breakfasts, and a variety of teas and other beverages and snacks available for self service in the dining/sitting room downstairs. Would certainly recommend staying here.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Beautifully maintained property with its own well set within the dining area. Suggest driving to the recommended eateries for dinner as you will certainly have an appetite by the time you have walked there. 2+ mile walk into Weymouth via the cycle path or take a number 8 bus. Great hosts who have an eye for detail, you won't be disappointed.
- Lindsay (8/5): - Very welcoming and friendly. Will stay again. Room a bit to warm and to noisy to open windows would be good to have a fan. Would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
