• Andre Kinast (10/5): - Nicolas und Etsuko sind sehr herzlich und überaus hilfreich! Die Unterkunft ist für einen Aufenthalt mit Baby oder Kleinkind bestens vorbereitet. Auch sonst ist an alles gedacht. Die Lage ist abgelegen was uns allerdings sehr gut gefallen hat! Zusätzlich sind mehrere sehr schöne ruhige Strände zu Fuß erreichbar. Crystal Beach direkt vor der Haustür! Ein Mini Markt ist auch fußläufig zu erreichen und hat zumindest Snacks und Getränke (Cash only) Die Betten waren für meinen Geschmack etwas hart, aber das scheint in Japan üblich.

• Thorsten (10/5): - Nicolas und Etsuko haben eine wunderschöne Unterkunft geschaffen. Alles ist total liebevoll und zugleich praktisch eingerichtet. Aber am allerwichtigsten: Beide sind total nett!!! Wir empfehlen unbedingt eine Schnorcheltour mit Nicolas! Und wir hoffen, dass wir wieder kommen können!!!!

• Keiko (10/5): - お部屋からも海が目の前に見えて、雨降りの日も癒されてのんびり出来ました。 アメニティや調味料類もなるべく自然なものを取り揃えてくれていたので、ケミカルが苦手な私達にはとてもありがたく、オーナー夫婦もとても親切でいろいろ気にかけていただいたりと至れり尽くせりでした！お庭も素敵です。
• Per (10/5): - Väldigt vackert och välkomnande. Mycket trevligt med en egen strand. Värd paret var perfekta. Det var ett äventyr att ta sig ner till stranden. Det är krångligt att klara sig utan egen bil då det är krångligt att få tag på taxi i området.
• Olivia (8/5): It was a wonderful experience, with kind hosts, in a beautiful location. - Great hospitality! The property is well stocked with everything you need. Thoughtful small touches, like freshly picked fruit and flowers. The bed was not super comfortable.
• Samantha (10/5): Best stay! - What you see is what you get - amazing view and clean house. Hosts went above and beyond answering questions we had. I was too nervous about typhoon season to book any tours in advance, so when i got there i regretted not booking tours in advanced because tours were booked full-but Nicolas recommended tour groups and places where i ended up seeing everything i wanted to in ishigaki! house was stocked with everything i needed to cook and eat a few meals. We really enjoyed the tatami room! When there was an issue with the stove it was fixed within an hour! Rented some snorkeling equipment from the host, so that is a bonus! There was a hose to rinse feet off before entering the house. If you love nature, many butterflies, geckos, even a chicken were spotted on the property! I especially liked these white geckos who would protect the house from bugs at night! The garden area was very beautiful. We saw many rainbows from the property! You should book this place before it is booked full! Don't forget to bring your shoes inside, or the wildlife will find them!

• AIKO (10/5): vacances - 目の前に広がる青い海と空、後ろを向けば深い緑の山が見え、ベランダから下を眺めるとお花やフルーツがなっている木々が見え、波の音と共に鳥や虫の鳴き声が聞こえて、夜は満天の星空に流れ星‥ もうまるで楽園そのもの！ そして何よりそんな楽園をよりバージョンUPさせてくれるオーナーさんご夫妻が本当に素敵でした。 自然に合わせて一緒に暮らしている生活‥ 山が風から守ってくれる、海の為には嫌われ者の台風も必要など、お話していて忘れかけていた事がどんどん蘇ってくる感じ。自然を大切にしなくちゃ！ってすごく思いました。子供たちも一緒。楽しかっただけではなく心も成長できたようです！ 相手への思いやり、何もかもがナチュラルで心地良くて〜また会いたいなぁ〜ってすごく思います。 また充電がなくなりそうになったら伺います！ 本当に素敵な時間をありがとうございました。 ひとつもありません

• Nadine (10/5): Tolle Aussicht in tollen Apartment. - Die Unterkunft war wunderschön, mit Blick aufs Meer und einem Sonnenuntergang vor der Nase. Nicolas war ein hervorragender Host und hat immer schnell auf Fragen geantwortet. Ebenfalls wurden wir mit einigen Kleinigkeiten versorgt, die wirklich toll waren. Die Ausstattung war toll, man hatte die Möglichkeit ein kayak auszuleihen und auch ein kleiner Grill welchen wir 2 x genutzt haben. Ein wirklich toller Aufenthalt - sollte man nochmal nach ishigaki kommen, würde ich jederzeit wieder hier nächtigen.
• Holger (10/5): Perfect accommodation near a beautiful beach - Superb location with beautiful view, walking distance to Crystal beach (received great explanation from the host how to get there). Fully equipped kitchen with spices, condiments, rice and even some herbs provided. Nice garden for BBQ. Nothing to complain about, but recommended only for those who don't mind meeting some insects and spiders, they are part of the location...
• John (9/5): Ishigaki is stunning. The house is nice, affordable (We visited in January.) and the host is a god. - Over and over you read that someone is a good host only to find out the title has been bestowed because someone answered a text or two and pointed someone in the direction of a decent coffee shop. Not true for Nicolas. This man may be the platonic ideal of a host. He is relentless, prompt, kind, detail oriented and thorough beyond all expectation. Been traveling for decades and never met anyone in this guy's league. This is nice home, in a great location hosted by a god.

• Anastassia (10/5): Exceptional - Nicolas and Etsuko are amazing hosts who made our stay in Ishigaki truly unforgettable. We especially enjoyed barbecuing on the terrace and kayaking at Kabira Bay. Nicolas and Etsuko provided everything we needed for kayaking, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. We hope we can visit again someday!
• Noraymis (10/5): My stay was amazing , the property is well taken care of, extremely clean and my favorite thing was how well located was - I have ao many good things to say about this property, from the moment I reserved communication with the owner was amazing , when we got there they were waiting for us , both him and his wife are one the nicest people I’ve met, the property is well located, extremely clean and organized, you have everything you need there , im a person that is more interested in cleanliness that other things and this place surpassed my expectations, they have recommendations on places to visit and how to get there wi h is a plus because it was our first time in Ishigaki, if i ever find myself back in Ishigaki i will definitely stay there again , I can’t recommend this place enough. I liked everything, there’s nothing to dislike .

The views were incredible and we saw so much nature whilst we were here. Nicolas and Etsuko were also fantastic hosts and gave us some great recommendations for activities and restaurants. • Tom (10/5): We felt at home in Ishigaki thanks to Nicolas and Etsuko’s lovely apartment - The apartment was comfortable and homely. It was well-stocked with the basics for cooking & there’s a washing machine to take care of your sandy beach towels. The location is great, near beaches and cafes.
• Daniela (10/5): Comfortable appartment with a nice view - It was a great place to stay at Ishigaki with a toddler. The owners were very friedly and helpful. We could for example borrow a lot of toys for the little one. Nicolas who is a snorkeling guide took my husband on a very nice tour, and he gave us some good recommendatikns for snorkling spots. The communication before and during the stay was very uncomplicated and efficient. No real negative points. The place is just a bit remote which was totally fine for us. However, you really need to rent a car to get around.
• Dickon (10/5): The most helpful kind hosts ever in such a beautiful comfortable apartment. - One of the most exceptional properties and bookings I have ever booked. Aside from the superlative cleanliness, accuracy, comfort, views, etc. the hosts went so much above and beyond what you expect from hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, and they proactively offered us help when we needed, e.g. a rental car, post forwarding, snorkel gear. Their communication was excellent and prompt, and all wrapped in kindness. I can't praise these guys enough and heartily recommend this place! Seriously, no issues and nothing not to like.

• Alexis (10/5): Absolutely perfect - The couple of owners welcomed us, a group of six friends, very gracefully. The house is very beautiful, bright and with a wonderful view on the sea with a very large terrace, a real gem. It was perfect.
• Paul (10/5): There is a lot to do in the area, your hosts are very knowledgeable. This time we climbed Mt Yoruba - This is our 5th time staying at Vacances. You can really have a relaxing holiday there: it's so quiet, the views of the coast are fantastic and at night the skies are truly enchanting and the breeze refreshing. You can snorkel directly from the beach. Your host Nicolas is an excellent guide who will take you to the best spots. The island is suffering from a dirth of hire cars, so book one really early because you'll need one there. At the property you can actually hire e-bikes so that's even better of local trips. it takes 25 minutes to Kabira by bike.

• Yuki (10/5): - まず、ガーデンと部屋がキレイ。キッチンにも十分な調味料など揃っており、コーヒーなどお茶の類も置いてあり初日から快適に過ごせました。また、滞在初日が夫の誕生日で、サプライズのフルーツ盛り合わせが花と一緒にとても素敵に出てきて感激でした（もちろん味もとても美味しかったですよ）。目の前の海が、シュノーケルに最高の場所なので、このロケーションを選びましたが、美しい海と素敵なご夫妻の宿、本当にリピート滞在できる良い宿を見つけたと思っています。
