• O'Connell (10/5): - We liked the cleanliness, We liked the room - it was huge and even a chandelier was included! We liked the gardens and patio area very much. We liked the breakfast, which included fried eggs to our specifications, and an array of foods. We loved the dog that inhabited the garden areas. We liked everything and would stay here again. Nothing.

• María Victoria (1/5): EL PÁNICO EN ESA FINCA VACÍA ME HIZO TEMBLAR Y NO PUDE QUEDARME SOLA EN ESA TENEBROSA Y MANSIÓNSIÓN - Hubiera sido muy bueno además de lícito, justo y procedente que BOOKING NO HUBIERA MENTIDO diciendo que era la última habitación disponible esa noche. Esa inmensa casa estaba cerrada y completamente vacía, una mujer que no era la dueña vino a abrir para mí, yo viajaba sola por trabajo y a las 22h me vi en la calle en un pueblo desconocido sin poder quedarme en esa tenebrosa mansión con mobiliario fúnebre. La dueña Marina me escribió la mañana siguiente por WhatsApp, tras no contestar a mi llamada, para decirme que no me devolvían mi dinero porque Booking no contempla devoluciones por miedo o por ausencia de otros huéspedes. Perfecto! Y yo me pregunto... y BOOKING CONTEMPLA INDEMNIZACIÓN POR MENTIRA Y FALSEDAD SOLO POR VENDER MÁS SIN REPARAR EN EL POSIBLE DAÑO CAUSADO?

• Francisco Javier (9/5): Descanso sensorial evocando principios del siglo XX. - La decoración del hotel es autentica de un palacete de época, el mobiliario antiguo en un estado de conservación excelente. Las habitaciones son muy grandes, cómodas y los baños totalmente reformados y modernos. Fue muy silencioso y acogedor gracias a María Eugenia que siempre estaba atenta. Tiene un gran jardín para pasear y poder hacer fotos muy bonitas super tranquilos donde incluso admiten animales. El desayuno tipo bufe tenia productos de calidad incluyendo Jamón serrano y queso curado.
• Rodriguez Machado (3/5): Regular - La ubicación es bastante buena, la verdad es que es una casona con encanto antiguo y piezas antiguas de mobiliario. La limpieza dejó muchísimo que desear, nos tocó un baño que no tenía una cisterna normal, sino tipo trituradora ya que las instalaciones no están preparadas para la evacuación del váter. La ducha bastante bastante sucia con pelos, pelusas, rincones donde hacia tiempo no se pasaba una buena fregona con lejía. Las camas super incómodas, creo que no se renuevan los colchones hace bastantes años ni las almohadas.

• Jacqueline A (10/5): A beautiful garden and building - The building and garden are beautiful, we couldn’t believe the size of our room. We were very comfortable. It is in a very quiet area and made the short walk to a busier area with bars for a drink. We were well looked after by Maria who served a lovely continental breakfast and offered hot tortilla. We easily parked outside the door, on the road. We would definitely return again. There was absolutely nothing to dislike.
• Carmen (8/5): cómo en casa - me gustó todo . la casa es muy bonita , la decoración , los muebles son una pasada. la habitación era enorme , cómoda . al igual que el baño . poder disponer de la cocina cómo si estuvieras en casa , está muy bien . estuvimos cenando en el patio con los perros y genial . poder aparcar en la puerta. tiene wifi , todo muy tranquilo . perfecto para desconectar un par de días quizás lo que menos me gustó por decir algo fue el desayuno , un poquito cómo descuidado , pobre por así decirlo , podrían cuidar un poco más el detalle en el desayuno . otro tipo de embutidos u otros fiambres.. no se , además creo que se podría poner más bonito , cómo que rompe el conjunto de la casa , está como desangelado esa es la palabra .

• Raquel (9/5): Un lugar de calma - Casa y jardín. Un enclave de paz. Y por supuesto Timón. Nos hizo compañía y cenó con nosotros. Para repetir.

• David (10/5): - The villa is old and quirky with huge bedrooms. Walkable to bars and restaurants. Lovely big garden and pool. Breakfast was good and plenty. Loved the shared kitchen to cook your meals.

• Andrew (8/5): Great little hotel - Set in a historic building, the hotel is very restful, huge rooms, nice breakfast. The town is worth exploring, lots of bars for tapas. Lively during a fiesta that was on when we were there. Lovely to see so many storks nesting in the area, really is a 'birders' paradise. A very nice stay
• Maria de Lourdes (6/5): Esperaba una experiencia mejor - Debían haber cerrado las reservas si tenían un evento al día siguiente. No pudimos apreciar lo lindo del lugar. El baño estaba un poco sucio, las toallas muy viejas. Y donde si perdí la cabeza cuando el momento del desayuno nos empiezan a dar cualquier cosa después de que habíamos pagado poniendo de escusa el evento. El lugar debe ser hermoso pero no lo aprecie.

• Michel (8/5): - Ruime kamers, klassiek en authentiek ingericht.. Mogelijkheid zelf te koken. Aparte koelkast in algemene ruimte aanwezig t.b.v. alle gasten. Ruime ontbijtzaal. Mooie ruime tuin rustig gelegen en met zwembad. De aanwezigheid van een grote hond die aandacht vroeg was een min puntje. Geen personeel aanwezig tijdens verblijf alleen tijdens ontbijt. Communicatie via Google translate i.v.m. onze gebrekkige kennis van het Spaans.
• Julie (9/5): Superb - Perfect place to spend a quiet evening with my dog. The gardens are peaceful & beautiful. You can walk to the center of town or out to the country. Very friendly staff and comfortable quarters. Thank you It filled my purposes just fine. Maybe fres orange juice for breakfast might be nice.
• Sanna-maija (10/5): paradise - everything! spacious room with comfy beds, beautiful outside spaces, the library was outstanding, amazing building we were the only ones there so felt like we had a private mansion to ourselves! we decided to stay an extra night as were so taken by the place, lovely pool, gardens and the beautiful resident "little" dog who is full of love very good breakfast by Maria easy communication with the owner who was very helpful nothing
• Kevin (7/5): OASIS IN SMALL RURAL TOWN - A quiet oasis in the centre of town. The pool was a welcome addition and really needed on a hot day. Ribera del Fresno is a little lacking in good places to eat and we ended up with a takeaway burger. Checking in was a bit haphazard as they didn't seem to be expecting up. Luckily there was a note on the door for another guest with a phone number to ring, so it was soon sorted

• John (7/5): Not as expected but ok nonetheless - Comfy bed Easy to park Good air con Big room Didn’t realise it was actually staying in someone’s home more or less If you don’t like dogs or children this will not be for you (we didn’t mind but it’s important to note) Literally nothing in the village except for a couple of bars so don’t expect to walk out to eat. It’s a car journey to somewhere.

• Penelope (8/5): We happened on this beautiful home by chance when travelling from Toledo to Zafra and are really glad we stayed there . - A beautiful old home with lovely garden antique furniture and extensive library . Our room was big and the beds comfortable. We were given a warm welcome by Maria who also made us a delicious breakfast in the morning. Another time I would book an upstairs room with a garden view .

Need improvement in barhroom and avout noise - Nice garden, ok pool Smell in bathroom, low water presure, noice from kitchen that was near our room and owners made noice from 8 in the morning while the breakfast was from 9.30; also noise from their dogs. • Mick (10/5): Exceptional - Stunningly beautiful finca in the centre of a very pretty town surrounded by vineyards. Very big room, lovely shower. All the facilities were top class. Excellent breakfast. The garden is beautiful, filled with scent of jasmine. Nothing!
• Alai (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing!!! The place is beautiful, the beds were very comfortable and the room was very spacious! Breakfast was fresh and diverse!! Maria Eugenia recommended various places to eat and visit, which is something I really appreciate because no one knows better than the locals :) Even though there is not a dedicated parking for the finca, there is space right outside to park comfortably :) There is not much to do in the town itself, but if you have a car, there are a lot of great places nearby where you can go and spend the day :)

• Susie (10/5): Wonderful, traditional property with beautiful gardens and pool. would defo stay gain - An oasis from the blistering heat, rooms had air conditioning which we really needed. Regional snacks and wine are available on arrival. Beautifully traditional furnished and spacious room. Accepted pets big plus Nothing really it was perfect... food available in the evening would have been amazing as my mother is elderly and cannot walk far, but for the able there are restaurants locally available.

• Victoria (10/5): Beautiful Oasis - Amazing! The finca was charming. Lovely old house with a beautiful, large, well tended garden and a very inviting swimming pool. It was so welcoming, like being in your own home. A kitchen available, a fridge. My room was beautiful. Very big, very clean. Lovely antique furniture. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were excellent. Bathroom very clean and stylish with a big pile of fragrant, fluffy white towels. My dogs were made very welcome and the owner was very kind and accommodating to us. The swimming pool was beautifully kept, and the water so lovely and fresh for the hot weather during my stay.

Maravillosa la habitación “Soledad” junto al salón. Sensación de estar como en casa. Reciben con un vino de la zona y queso y el trato es muy agradable. Único fallo el wifi
