- Bree (1/5): I thought hotels were only this bad in the movies. - This was the grossest hotel I have ever stayed at. There was hair all over my bed that was not mine, the room was totally dirty, and there were even french fries under the bed!!!!!!! I called and asked for different sheets to change the bed and they gave me the wrong size so I basically just sat huddled in the middle of the bed all night trying not to touch anything. I left as soon as I woke up in the morning to go sit in a coffee shop because I could not bear to be there a second longer. This was the grossest hotel I have ever stayed at. - EVA (8/5): - Very convenient for the price
- Giedrius (7/5): - Yra nemokama kava. Prie kelio, netoli parduotuvė ir kavinės. Visą naktį triukšmavo kaimynai.
- D noe (7/5): - No hay breakfast
- Adéla (1/5): - This was one of the worst accommodations I’ve ever stayed in, and I travel a lot. The neighborhood didn’t feel safe at all — there were lots of sketchy people around the motel, even in the parking area. The room itself was okay, though it could have been cleaner. The staff even charged us twice for the room — we had already paid through Booking, showed them the payment confirmation, but they still insisted it wasn’t paid for and charged us again anyway. It took weeks before we got our money back, thanks to Booking. I would choose any other accommodation in the area over this one.
- Marlene (8/5): - Our visit was very good, staff great. The thing I was disappointed in was the door to the office was always closed and locked when we would want a coffee. Coffee in the morning is important.
Room w as nice and clean.
- Juan (2/5): - We got bitten by fleas or something in the bed
- Verified traveler (4/5): Needs a lot of love - This hotel really needs some love. When I arrived, there were people smoking right outside the check in. I would suggest a smoking section that is its own spot. The check-in was easy, I got my key and went to my room, which has been updated with nice flooring and newer bathroom. But, you can hear everything your neighbor is doing. There was a cockroach in my tub that then disappeared. The bath mat towel was filthy. The other towels were threadbare and small. The sheets on the bed were old and the comforter was pretty gross and so thin. Luckily, I had a blanket with me I could add to the bed. In the morning, the only coffee is in the check-in area, but the room was always locked and the two times I went for a coffee (at 9am) I had to ring the bell and wait for someone to open the door. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.
- Daniel (8/5): - Good service. Cleaning could improve as the mini fridge was dirty.
- Colette (8/5): - None
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room was very clean, comfy bed, couple of safety issues:
Smoke alarm was beeping due to battery needing to be changed(I took it out til am)
Safety latch on door was broken ( propped a chair under door handle, bolt lock did work)
Informed manager of all this in am, hopefully he took care of it, he was very apologetic
- Jessica (10/5): Good rooms, bad towel service - Everything was good except for me not getting my towels until 9 at night
- Sergeant (10/5): - Outstanding for me
- Matheus (2/5): all good no complaints - all good
- Edward (10/5): Great for a layover. - Stayed here before. Will do so again. Not a 5 star hotel folks. It's a very good Motel 6 and very professional people working the desk.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Motel is newly renovated but has some issues.
Also, per staff, the motel has a lot of construction workers staying there (presumably long term).
- Antoinette (6/5): - People were very loud, looked very trashy
- Neha (4/5): - The smoke alarm had been removed, and was sitting in the closet without batteries. Yikes! It was scary waking up and noticing that we slept all night without a smoke alarm (especially with the amount of smokers around the hotel that we noticed).
Price was good. Nice warm shower. AC worked, and cooled very well over time, though it was quite noisy. The room looked clean at first, but we noticed that the floors were dirty. Do motels like this wash sheets and pillowcases between different guests? I noticed lots of animal hair on the outer sheet, and human hair and some dirt on the white sheets as well.
- Syed (8/5): - Decent enough
- Vernon (8/5): - Everything was fine at the property I stayed at
- Darin (10/5): - The room was clean
- Oleksandr (10/5): - Carrry was great!
- Donald M. (8/5): - Nice as always
- JD (6/5): - tV didnt really work
- Jay (6/5): - This is a old and tired Motel 6. It needs some new boards and paint. The room was clean and also the bathroom. It was advertised as a king size bed. It's more like a queen size. Note, I paid for the king size bed and was surprised that it was not.
- Royce (4/5): - Property old and run down. I booked a suite and they did not have one available when I got there. Did not offer a discount on a smaller room I was given. The lady there was nice. Place is just badly managed.
- Corey (10/5): - Close to many amenities
- Grace (8/5): Nice and quiet. - Easy check in. Our original room had a fan issue in the bathroom and the cleaning lady put us in the room right next door that was quieter which was very nice of her to do. The lot was under construction so there wasnt too many parking spots open. The hotel was quiet and had a straight shot to Death Valley.
- Dalton (8/5): - Clean room. Great for a quick one-night stay. TV turned on but had no sound.
- Sean (2/5): - Got to hotel at 6pm, left at 10pm for another hotel down the road. Very dirty, paper thin walls between units, could hear loud TV and sex and coughing up luggies next door and buffalos walking above me. Beware!
- Nicole (6/5): - Parking lot was way to small
- Antoinette (4/5): - The three times I was there no toilet paper bed half made one towel no trash cans or bags
- samantha (10/5): - Very clean and very friendly staff
- Antoinette (2/5): - Wasn’t able to get the room and want it downstairs so they gave me an upstairs room which was bad on my back then had no parking areas cause their parking lot was cluttered
- Douglas H (2/5): - People up all hours of the night, talking outside. We didn’t sleep. Today will be a long day.
- Tamree (6/5): You never know what youre going to get - They checked me and my husband and 2 teenage sons into a room that wasn't ready. Spoke w the front desk and got a new room. I didnt inspect it as thoroughly as I should have. It was late. I was tired, I went to bed. Next morning, we were in a rush to get to a funeral, no shower head. I didnt have time to complain, very busy day ahead. Left a note, returned late and slept. Next morning, still no shower head. Still busy day, so we showered again anyways. Next day, I went to the front desk about the shower head and asked for more towels. Didnt complain that they werent going to fix the showerhead. He said he would send housekeeping w towels. They never showed. The next day, day 4 of our stay, I went back to the front desk and reported the towels never arriving nor the room refresh he had mentioned. He apologized and gave me 2 towels for the 4 of us.
Not my first stay here. Its always something.
- Kathryn (8/5): - Clean rooms, safe environment, fairly quiet area - though the walls are not very sound proof. Better than I expected for Motel 6 and wonderful for the price. The managers are super lovely.
- Keri (2/5): - Nothing
- Shontina (10/5): - ❤️ it
- Shontina (10/5): - Kind people
- Anurag (8/5): - Great place to stay if planning to go to Death valley.
- Cecil (8/5): - Good location, great price. Only hiccup was buggy WiFi.
- John (8/5): - We picked this based on it being the best rated, dog friendly motel in town.
Other reviewers have commented on the "nice" decor or color scheme of the rooms. Our room was the most depressing hotel room I have ever been in, beige and brown, broken up only by spackle on part of an unfinished wall and green paint splatters on the floor. (We had the handicap room.)
We didnt mind the bedding not being changed (we were there for 4 nights), but when the towels were replaced one day they left the door ajar...all of in our stuff could have been taken! And no washcloths were given to us after the first were taken. Also, NO Soap!! I understand bringing my own shampoo & lotion, but having to bring a large bar of soap is just unpractical, esp if you are going to several places on a trip. We already have a "Motel 6 survival kit" because they are such basic stays, but no soap?!?
Oh, and the TV had no signal the whole time, so there was nothing to distract from how depressing the room was.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Friendly staff: clean room - Friendly staff. Clean and quiet. Will stay again.
- David (10/5): - By far the easiest check in I've ever had at any hotel
- Annette (10/5): Perfect for business travel - Always super clean and comfortable. Perfect for business travel.
- April (10/5): - This is one of the best Motel 6 locations that I've had the pleasure of staying at. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The location is beautifully maintained and is located in a convenient area.
- Michael (6/5): - Leaky toilet
- Erica (2/5): - I stayed here for one night and the first room I was in the deadbolt didn’t lock which made me worried being a single female in a new area. (I was visiting family for Thanksgiving ) but I don’t feel safe then I see the bed and it was full of stains I asked to change room they did immediately and I was happy with that but when I went to use the bathroom at 3am I saw cockroaches and one was on my toothbrush. I’m terrified of bugs I was soo upset I couldn’t sleep all night because of it. I’m was disappointed with this I hope they fix that issue very upsetting
- Hong (6/5): - The toilet tank was not functioning well. Sounded like leaking.
The pillow cases and bed sheets were not clean. Spot other customers hair on them.
- Karenp (4/5): Disappointed - Checked in: went to room and there were dirty washcloth and towels in the room.
- mark (10/5): -
What just wanted to bring it up to your attention a couple days that I’ve been staying there at the hotel everything’s great. Everything‘s clean had no issues. No problems with service around the property. Just a few things that I noticed in inside my room when I was there One day I had a roach a cockroach on the chair that I noticed Yeah, other time I seen a couple of small roaches coming out of the sink in the restroom other than that, I did not have any issues
- April (10/5): - Property is consistently wonderful. The staff is always helpful and professional.
- April (10/5): - This location is consistently wonderful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly, professional, and hard working.
- Getaway47153548774 (2/5): This Motel Violates Public Health Codes And Shuts Off Wifi - Do NOT Book This Motel
Clearly money is more important to Danny the manager of this motel, than abiding by federal laws and respecting guests health. Last night 10/20/24 he INSTRUCTED a guest who had just checked in, to smoke outside of her room door next to the door of a non-smoking room he knows is occupied by a non-smoker allergic to cigarettes and weeds smoke so that the smoke will enter that room through the door creveses and window and cause that guest to be sick. I immediately smelled it and got up and opened the door, there's a heavyset red haired woman sitting on a chair next to that door close to mine, smoking a cigarette, with a small black Dog standing across from my door. I call Danny from the room phone several times, no answer. I call from my cellphone, then he answers and after I tell him smoke is entering my room through door creveses and window and that I'm allergic; he admits that he intentionally assigned a person who he knows smokes, to the room next to my room and that he has no assigned/designated smoking area on first floor in parking lot nor anywhere down there. He nonchalantly says he'll 'talk to' the woman.
2. As I ask him why he therefore intentionally allows smoke to enter non-smoking rooms, he hung up in my face. I do not pay for disrespect; so I will not give this motel my money/my business ever again. I'm getting more sick, and he has not come up to that room; so unfortunately I'm forced to step outside of my introvertness and open my door again and ask her to stop smoking by my room because obviously smoke enters room, and tell her that my room is non-smoking.
3. She informs me that Danny TOLD her to smoke outside her door, and that her room is non-smoking as well. She agrees to go against his instruction and go downstairs to finish her cigarette she's still puffing on. I then had to open my door a few minutes later and widen my window open more, to air out my room. I now have a pounding headache and the other symptoms are beginning to kick in.
4. Now today 10/20/24, the power in the motel as a whole, goes out. Once it's back on, the internet is not working no matter what I tried; and I was in a live conference that therefore I got disconnected from!!! I call Danny but his wife picks up (they live in the office downstairs with their kid's) and so I ask her to re-set the router, and I inform her of what she obviously already knows....that the internet has not worked since the power came back on. It's now thirty minutes later and it's still not working. And, the password is not even working anymore, while otherwise the network list screen days 'Connected but no internet access'. How careless of them, and Damaging to their guests who's money they charged includes 24/7 high speed internet wifi. I'm still without internet access as I type this!
5. There are many other issues this motel has, that I will point out in a later Review.
- Ray (6/5): - The room was huge. Had everything we need.
- Jerry (10/5): Great Motel 6 and Staff - I had an excellent overnight stay at this Motel 6 in Ridgecrest, mostly thanks to the great helpful staff. I booked 2 rooms and both were clean and well stocked and comfortable. The area felt safe and was within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. I had stopped going to Motel 6 for a while but this M6 in Ridgecrest has changed my mind. Thank you.
- April (10/5): - Another wonderful stay at this location. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Location is safe and quiet.
- Melanie (6/5): - No elevators and there was an unhoused person by the entrance drinking a beer near dusk. Kinda scarey area too.
- April (10/5): - Stayed at this location many times and have always exceeded expectations. We are traveling with pets and one of them disappeared. The owner went out of his way to help us locate our pet. I would definitely recommend a stay at this location.
- George (8/5): - The only negative is that there is not enough parking to accomodate all the guests.
- ANDY (8/5): - Very good overall. Not bad for a Motel 6! Would come back here again.
