• Easten (2/5): Unfortunately, I’d rather sleep in my car then in the roach infested room (112) we were given - The location Worst 5 nights. We did everything to avoid going home due to the roach infestation. When we told the front desk, they said it’s “normal” and “expected due to the beachfront location”. We spotted roaches everyday in every room, but mostly in the living room/kitchen. I would not stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else. No one deserves to pay to stay with roaches
• Peggy (8/5): We had a wonderful stay in Kapaa that would have been great if the wind had stopped blowing! - Good location on the island. Close to the ocean, very scenic. Good pool and hot tub. Close to shopping and food services.Plenty of towels. The coins for a one time laundry visit were nice. Friendly staff. A reclining couch and/or chairs would be nice. The toilet had a leak that I reported to the office. The noise disturbed our sleep for a couple of nights, but then right away the maintenance man came and fixed the problem. The noise from the roof repair was annoying -- however we were advised that construction was scheduled to happen. So it was expected and not too bad as we were mostly out exploring during the day.

• Nazar (5/5): Not bad - Good location, beautiful ocean view, free parking, shops nearby. The biggest disappointment was the cockroaches. They are everywhere. We asked to be moved to another building, but the lady at the front desk said they were everywhere. They just sprayed our room with cockroach repellent. Usually, after such a procedure, people should not stay indoors for 24 hours, but we had no choice. In general, the hotel is old, but everything is well maintained and there is a lot of space in the room. Also the price is good.

• Alana (10/5): Relaxing, easy, and lovely! - Everything was very well taken care of and the property was great. Pool is lovely, unfortunately the hot tub was closed for maintenance during our stay. It was a bit dated for the price point in my opinion.

• Brian (10/5): Great Location Great Views - The staff at Kauai Shore were all very friendly and helpful. Lacy went above and beyond to help us. She is a treasure to have working for them. The condo was spacious and clean. We had tremendous ocean view. The location is very convenient to get to nearby restaurants and shopping as well as being halfway between Hanalei and Poipu. The property itself could use some TLC. Unfortunately, the hot tub was under repair during our stay, but the pool was available.

• Alice (8/5): Overall the apartment was great and location was terrific. The view was good also because!! - location was excellent. we were at the point we could get to the airport in just a few minutes or go in any direction to visit all the wonderful things Kauai has to offer. The only thing I had a problem with was the kitchen sink was stopped up and the smell was atrocious!! I reported it early Saturday morning and they did not get it fixed until sometime Sunday afternoon. We know things happen like this because it is an apartment but I felt they should have fixed it in a timely manner, not 2 days.

• Laura (8/5): Beautiful seaside view no frills. - The front desk attendant was very friendly. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with necessary utensils for cooking. The view and sound of the ocean was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed the patio and watched the sun rise every morning. Ample towels! The coffee was terrible. But there's several great coffee shops nearby. There are no check out instructions. And the office hours provided by booking.com are not correct.

There w - It was close to the shore and some restaurants On Booking.com it said there was a designated area for smoking and there wasn’t. Also there were supposed to be beaches in walking distance but were not swim able. At night you had to close and lock doors so there was not a breeze coming through. It was hot at night. No toaster

• Yvonne (10/5): Excellent, fun and relaxing - Check in was easy. Young ladies at the desk were kind, friendly and efficient. Property grounds were clean and neat. Traffic access turning left was very congested. Lucky the kind drivers would flash their light to signal you safely across to make a left. So kind!
• Terri (10/5): Wonderful stay, will be back! - Close to everything, and very easy with two kids. Son loved shuffleboard! Very easy drive to all the beaches we wanted to visit, and close to their favorite restaurant the Olympic Cafe in downtown Kapa’a. Safeway across the street, and Ross as well when we forgot a pair of board shorts. Couldn’t have been an easier last minute week off before school starts up again. Will be back! Air conditioning wasn’t necessary but some afternoons I would have clicked it on if they had it.
