• LaRae (1/5): Very disappointed!!! - DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DISAPPOINTED! I made the reservation for this hotel months in advance through booking.com. I receive a confirmation from booking.com and the hotel. 4 hours prior to check in, I was notified by the hotel that they were overbooked and my reservation had been canceled. I was give a phone number of a third party to call and try to get rebooked. The options given were unacceptable and we were unable to continue with or trip. I should have read the reviews of this property, as it seems this property has done this in the past to several customers. I will never book this property, and am seriously considering not using booking.com again. The property could have honored our reservation.

• SBVegasAdventures (8/5): Nice place for a weekend getaway - I have stayed in hotels all over the US and the world and this was one of the coziest. It is a timeshare so they may ask you to attend an optional benefits review or something along those lines but it's not required if you are a timeshare owner already. Customer service was great, no issues there. The building seemed a little dated but was fine overall. The room was huge, like a small apartment and probably the biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in. It had everything you could possibly need including a full kitchen with appliances and cooking utensils. Bed was comfortable, we slept very well and overall had a great stay. Room was clean and comfortable and had a nice balcony. I look forward to staying here again the next time I am in town.

• BJB116 (2/5): Unethical business - book somewhere else or you will get a nasty surprise - We showed up at ~9 pm to be told, the hotel did not have a room for us. This is despite me booking 4 months in advance and calling the hotel 2 days before to confirm they had a room for us - they supposedly did. Some people mentioned the fact that they may overbook thus I double checked. The issue with this place is that they lie. - they told me they had a room for me, we show up with kids at night, they have no room - the manager told me they tried to contact me the day off, they never did, no voicemails, no emails, no texts - the manager blamed the company that made the reservation for the responsibility to 'reacommodate us' - I've never heard of anything like this. Nobody was willing to reaccommodate us, you are on your own at night looking for a place to stay. - the desk clerk was aloof, unapologetic and did not care Avoid this place, they are not trustworthy.

• Jeffrey (6/5): - It was a good hotel but there were some issues with a high pitched noise outside our room for over an hour in the morning that took awhile to fix. The amenities are lovely with the bikes and the campfire and the lodge. The rooms are a bit old and could do with a bit of an upgrade. It’s a lovely property though.
• Marijo (1/5): Their business practices border on fraud. - Despite having paid for 2 reservations 5 months in advance and confirming them, they were overbooked and did not honor our reservation. We had to scramble to find a place for 2 family units attending my husband's 90th birthday. I would never have anything to do with this property again. This property did not provide the 2 units I reserved and paid for 5 months in advance. They did not even let us know until the day our out-of-town family units were due to check in. We had to find rooms somewhere else at a last minute premium cost. This was for a 90th birthday event. I would never do business with this property again.
• westseattlewhites (2/5): Our booking cancelled on the day of arrival. Book this property at your own risk. - DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY VIA A THIRD PARTY. Period. We booked this condo via Expedia back in March 2024 and our stay was cancelled on the morning of our arrival on August 2nd. I had to escalate to get Expedia to give me a full refund. Apparently this is quite common for Wyndham, and is well documented on travel booking sites. If a timeshare owner books a room, they will cancel a third-party reservation to accommodate them. They also routinely overbook and cancel at will, with zero notice. The property itself is okay - a bit worn and tired, but the location in Birch Bay is great. Front desk staff is very nice, but there is nothing they can do about cancellations, so be nice to them if you find your stay is abruptly cancelled. Book this at your own risk.

• Scott (2/5): - I booked 3, 2 bedroom condos for an annual end of school celebration trip and when we arrived, they said they didn’t have room for us. They gave our rooms away due to a miscommunication with Orbitz. I booked them over 6 months previously and they still gave the rooms to someone else who had just booked them the day before. The kids were in tears and I had 3 carloads of people with no place to stay after traveling all day. The front desk person blamed it on orbitz and said it happens all the time, which I find ridiculous. Orbitz blamed it on world mark. No one wanted to take responsibility until I finally made a big fuss and they told us they would put us up down the street at a crappy holiday inn in a nearby town which was not comparable in the least. They finally agreed to move our reservation to another comparable hotel but we were charged an extra $90 per night for the hotel service fees and had no kitchens to refrigerate or cook all the groceries that we had purchased. We had hundreds of dollars of food spoil and had to spend hundreds more to eat out every meal. Overall, I am completely disgusted with how the whole thing was handled. Oh, and I was charged a cancellation fee of $168 which Orbitz is refusing to refund even though canceling was not my choice. Simply inconceivable.
• Maxwell (2/5): - They gave away my room 6:30pm (2.5 hours after allowed check-in time) and then when I showed up at 8pm to check-in, they said they gave it away. They took no responsibility. Totally unprofessional, scummy hotel. Do not support these people.
• Melissa (1/5): We were cancelled by the hotel. - We were cancelled 4 hours before our planned arrival. We were en route and had to scramble to find other accommodations. The person that called us was just short of rude, quite short with us. I imagine the job of calling people to cancel isn’t easy. They cancelled our stay due to overbooking. I made this reservation 4 months in advance.
• Jeffrey (8/5): - Very Clean, Quiet and updated facility. Staff was wonderful. Close to the mall (walkable) and several close in dining options (walkable) also a nice buffet breakfast, perfect for families.

• Rhodwarrior (2/5): Terrible - we had a long standing reservation and the hotel overbooked and bumped us out with 2 hours notice. Watch out - We booked a room months ago to attend a wedding. The hotel called us 2 hours before check in time to say they had overbooked and had no room for us. What a terrible way to run a business. At least they could have called a couple days before. Don't trust these folks.

• Sandra (2/5): - BEWARE!!! This company has no checks & balances in place to track bookings they allow by third parties. We prepaid three months in advance for a week's stay and were told AFTER we drove 800 miles and arrived at the lodging that we were only guaranteed four nights. We had to scramble to find available lodging away from the bayside area where we were staying. No advance notice, no help getting us the information we needed to seek a refund for those cancelled nights even though they said they would. Expedia was great and stepped in to resolve and get us a refund, but Worldmark is a JOKE!
• wpaco (2/5): Please re-consider when you are booking this hotel. - This hotel cancelled my reservation at 4:06 pm the day right before the check in date for no reason. Booking.com that I booked this helped to follow up, and the response from them is also "No reason given by the partner". There's no way for me to find an alternative this last last minute in that small area with limited number of hotels for a long weekend. That's why I booked 2 and half months ahead. We had to cancel the family vacation with were excited but sad kids.

• David K. (10/5): Awesome stay! - My Son and I enjoyed our stay very much. We had a 2 bedroom, fireplace, balcony etc that was really comfortable and roomy. Having the beach across the street was awesome as the view is quite beautiful! When we come back next Spring we are planning to stay there once again.

We didn’t have a room facing the bay, but we had a nice view of the field and little lakes on the opposite side of the resort. We enjoyed the view from the observation deck and we also enjoyed the space and games in the club room. We did not see or use the fitness center and it was just too cold and windy to try the pool and hot tub. We also did not eat any meals in the on-site restaurant. We could definitely stay here again.

• 879beths (10/5): Check out the views! - The check in provided us with a list or local restaurants, activities, coupons, and a TIDE chart. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered aloe when they saw my grandson was sunburned on our check in. The view was excellent. We were across the street from the bay and enjoyed watching the tide come and go. The kitchen had everything I needed including baking pans. We were lucky enough to get room 402 that had a view of the ocean and the pool area. The 5th floor had a club room, bar-b-ques and a lounge area to view the ocean. This is a resort I would go back to on another vacation.
