• 713rj (4/5): This resort is living on past glory - disappointing stay - We stayed at Enchantment for 3 nights and overall a very much below average stay. First the positive - their location, right at the Boynton canyon is really good with very convenient hikes to the canyon and kachina vortex. The room had a queen size bed (its been a few decades since I have stayed in a luxury property where the bed for a couple was queen/small). Also this was not a real bed - but a murphy bed - with no headboard to rest against - and overall, very uncomfortable for 2 people to sleep on - perhaps ok in a motel, but when you are paying $1200+ per night, this is not what you expect. We did have a nice view of the canyon from our room though. We at at all three of their restaurants - The food and service at Che Ah Chi was good, Tii Gavo was barely average (excellent views though), and finally Hummingbird, their signature restaurant was a complete let down in terms of food and service. The service at the morning breakfast (we had 3 breakfasts there, all at Che Ah Chi) ranged for attentive/good to the waitress completely messing up our order and bringing my food almost 15 mins after my wife was done eating. We signed up for a few classes, and they were all average to below average - with the one exception of a Culinary/Cooking demo by Chef Dana and Chef Glen - they were both really fun and engaging and deserve 5 stars. My wife went to their Miiamo spa for a massage - and while they claim to be a world-famous spa, they did not have a plunge-pool at the spa. The rest of the facilities were clean and nice and the massage itself was fine - but nothing that you would not find at a decent Marriott/Hilton or similar hotels. This was probably a luxury property/room maybe a decade ago, but at this point it is living on past glory. If we ever go back to Sedona, we will hunt for a different property - and not stay here again.
• V9286JRpeterd (8/5): Beautiful Resort, but Check-in was a disaster - Enchantment is beatiful. Casitas are lovely, and clean. But Check-in experience is a disaster. Got to the room 3 hours late. Seemed like no one was able to access their room on time. Dampened the entire experience. Once in the room, the experience was great.
• steveurban22 (4/5): Not as Enchanting as expected - Enchanment has beautiful surrondings but the rooms are dated. This is suppose to be a 4 star hotel and it needs to take a page from the Four Seasons playbook on how to deliver on that experince. Our experince was substandard from check-in taking a long time with a line of people and only 2 staff to check everyone in. Dinners that took a long time to serve and running out of food. i kept hoping that it would get better but we were truly jinxed and from the current reviews i saw this has been going on alot this year.

Feel like they are just selling the location and coasting in all other areas. For that amount of Money value was severely lacking.
• P4210DOashleys (10/5): Perfect Coupke getaway, balance of relaxation + activity - My husband and I just returned from a week at Enchantment. It was our first time to Sedona. We are 42 and 45. We absolutely loved it. The location, for us was perfect because you are surrounded by the mountains/red rocks. We loved being able to hike the Boyton Canyon trails straight from the resort without needing to drive anyway. Subway cave was favorite hike. The resort is about 15-20 min from everything (restaurants, shopping, gas) but for us it wasn’t a big deal. It was an easy and very scenic drive. Trailheads for Faye Canyon and Doe Mountain are only 5-7 min away. The service at Enchantment is wonderful. The rooms were cleaned and turned down daily and promptly. The servers at the pool were abundant and attentive. We loved both restaurants at the hotel eating at Tii Gavo on our first night for dinner and eating at Che ah Chi once for dinner and once for breakfast. We used the Spa and definitely recommend it. The services were great. Lunch at Hummingbird was also delicious. We have nothing bad to say and definitely recommend Enchantment for a couple looking to unplug. There were so many activities at the resort as well that we didn’t even use but all looked great!
• R1058WYkristinc (10/5): 10th Anniversary Trip - We chose this hotel for our anniversary trip, and it exceeded every expectation from start to finish. Our room was beautiful, with a thoughtful anniversary surprise waiting for us that made the stay feel truly special. The grounds are stunning and perfectly kept. Every restaurant we visited delivered exceptional food and drinks—each meal was genuinely beyond what we anticipated. The concierge team was incredibly helpful, providing great recommendations and seamlessly handling our reservations, which made everything effortless. This was a memorable experience in every way, and we would absolutely return.

Miss on basic service and room quality. - The location and amenities at Enchantment Resort were excellent, but several basic issues impacted our stay. Service felt inconsistent and not genuine. Our room door had a gap that caused a loud, high-pitched howling noise during windy conditions, making it difficult to sleep. We stayed 2 nights, 2nd night the wind was bad. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were not. The biggest issue was with Mii Amo spa. We scheduled and confirmed a 4/30 appointment at 10:10 AM multiple times. We arrived on 4/30 ready for our massage and were told it was actually booked for 5/1. We were turned away with a shoulder shrug and little acknowledgment or apology and had to rearrange our plans, which disrupted our trip. We also confirmed a 4 PM late checkout at check-in and again the morning of departure, but still received a text at 1 PM asking us to reconfirm, which created unnecessary uncertainty. Overall, it felt like different parts of the resort were not aligned. For a premium property, getting the basics right service, room comfort, and scheduling is critical. Instead, the experience felt more like a hassle than a relaxing getaway.
• S2547ISjulesm (10/5): 100% first-class treatment and venue! - JC was welcoming, accommodating and professional., all with a smile and a fun attitude!! The venue is so beautiful and love the ambiance. We thought we had a reservation via a concierge at another resort, but turns out we didn’t, and JC graciously found the perfect table for us. May I just say in a world where “service” is nonexistent, this experience was A+++. Because of this, on our next trip to Sedona, we will be staying at Enchantment. I’m sure you know what a treasure you have in JC…well done in making him a manager and beyond!!!
• sshattuck612 (10/5): The Enchantment Resort Lives Up To Its Name - My wife and I spent 3 nights at The Enchantment at the end of April, 2026. It's a truly special place, nestled in the beyond beautiful Boynton Canyon, Sedona, Arizona. The resort does a fantastic job looking after their guests. Clean/ comfortable rooms, delicious food, friendly/ attentive staff, and a great variety of on-site and off-site activities. I would strongly recommend the guided Grand Canyon tour offered through the Enchantment's Trail House. This was truly a "once in a lifetime" experience. Thanks to all of the staff for making our vacation stay so memorable. We look forward to a return trip!

• janelt5 (2/5): Price-gouging and zero hospitality. Avoid. - The "Enchantment" is gone. We stayed here for our 10th anniversary and were met with total incompetence. After being ignored via email for weeks, we arrived to a 30-minute wait at a stop sign because the staff forgot us. The front desk was unapologetic, and the concierge was downright rude. They tried to pressure us into an $80 one-way shuttle to dinner, claiming Ubers don't work there. Total lie—we got an Uber for $18 in minutes. The spa hosts were cold, the front desk forgot to tell us our room was ready, and no one explained how to use the amenities (like the fireplace). For a "world-class" resort, they are remarkably unprofessional and only seem interested in upcharging you at every turn. It tarnished our milestone celebration. Never again

Thank you Wendy at Mi iamo for opening me to higher clarity and beyond beautiful chanting and meditation ceremonies at the chrystal grotto. Thank you Mykhal for managing my favorite place to eat and nurture at Hummingbird in Mi iamo and having the most amazing staff! • KGBIZTRAVELER (4/5): Not as amazing as I had hoped. - I really wanted to love this place...the site is beautiful...but there are some major disconnects. The beds are horribly uncomfortable. My wife slept on couch cushions on the floor for 2 nights because the bed was so bad. Service at the pool is horrible. Mii Amo is amazing. It's like there are two totally different companies running these places, the Enchantments and then Mii Amo. Service at Mii Amo is amazing, food is great, well maintained, clean, top notch. The hotel/resort side is chaotic, not clean, and the service is just ok. The wine menu is boring. Full of overproduced over marketed brands like Domaine Serene instead of thoughtful procurement from unique producers.
• Opininatedfoodie (2/5): A serious health hazard that needs to be condemned - I can not believe the abysmal denegration of this once magnificent property. After 3 separate attempts at finding a room that didnt reek of mold and chemicals, we just called it. I asked for a room that had been redone in the last 20 years. The carpet was beyond filthy. We were willing to spend 10,000 to stay here for 5 nights. I would have preferred to sleep in my car then take the health risk that this garbage trying to pass off as a 5 star resort was trying to pull over on us. And it touts itself as a "Sanctuary". This is everything that is wrong with capitalism. Please, do not even attempt to stay here if you have ANY health issues whatsoever. Motel 8 has them beat for cleanliness. Disgusting. We literally left after months of dreaming about this trip.
• kathrynthorndike (10/5): A great choice for families - esp those looking for (guided) adventure! - We had an amazing time at Enchantment. Apart from the setting, which is incredible, two things stood out: (1) the staff and (2) the Trail House.  From the moment we arrived on the property, everyone was so friendly and helpful. We never walked or drove past a member of the Enchantment team without a wave and/or hello. It created such a warm and inviting atmosphere.  The Trail House was also a highlight. We booked several excursions with them and every single one exceeded our expectations. The team has deep and meaningful experience in whatever it is they are leading - whether it be Grand Canyon hikes, mountain biking...and everything in between. We always knew we were in good hands. And when we decided to strike out on our own, they gave us interesting and appropriate ideas for our hikes. We are really REALLY glad we decided to stay at Enchantment which afforded such easy access to this incredible resource.  Other thoughts…  The resort is nestled in Boynton Canyon which provides a beautiful backdrop, a quiet respite from busy downtown, and very easy access to some great trails.  The resort is definitely family-friendly. Lots of activities - lawn games, ping pong, pickleball, pool, air hockey, etc.  Having access to laundry machines (and associated supplies) was so helpful. We underestimated how gross our clothes would be post-hikes (esp with the red dust) so ended up doing several loads. Would’ve cost us a fortune to keep sending out our laundry (tho they do offer a laundry service if you don’t want to spend your vacation doing chores).   Also appreciated the easy access to filtered-water and ice machines.
• SCRance (8/5): Beautiful resort, stunning views, a few customer service related hiccups. - Overall we enjoyed our time here. Stunning location/views. Well appointed and comfortable room. Service was lacking a bit; the pool appeared to be understaffed in terms of servers and the one woman who was taking orders had no sense of urgency whatsoever. We expected more care/enthusiasm for such a nice resort. Drinks were forgotten (no apologies), no check ins etc. She asked that we place food and drink together so it was easier for her. We were also out of our room from 9am-3pm the first day and came back to a room that hadn’t been serviced. I had to call and they came by at 5pm to do it. Small service related things that can be remedied and it would be a 5 star experience to reflect the nightly rate. Otherwise an excellent and beautiful stay.
• courtneysE3757WF (8/5): Proceed with caution - Proceed with a bit of caution. The grounds here are absolutely stunning—truly beyond expectations. The setting in Boynton Canyon is breathtaking, and everywhere you look feels like a postcard. If you’re coming purely for scenery, hiking, and the overall vibe of Sedona, this property delivers in a big way. However, I made the mistake of assuming that at this price point, all rooms would come with at least some kind of view. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and were so excited for a special stay—but our room was a major disappointment. The front faced a parking lot, the back window looked out onto another parking area, and the side faced a road. With the resort being so spread out, there is a constant flow of cars and golf carts, which took away from the sense of escape. It honestly felt like the kind of room you might receive on a heavily discounted booking site—not what I expected when booking directly with the resort at full price. The resort is very family-friendly, which is great—but it also impacted the experience more than expected. The main pool, in particular, didn’t feel aligned with a luxury atmosphere. There was a lot of noise, including kids running and screaming, and service was slow enough that getting food or drinks became frustrating. That said, the spa was the standout. The spa pool was incredible—peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what I had envisioned for a relaxing, high-end experience. If I return, I would plan my stay much more intentionally around the spa. We also had dinner at both restaurants and thought they were fantastic—great food, great ambiance, and a highlight of the trip. In the end, the views and grounds are truly exceptional—but it was hard to get past the room experience at this price point. If you book here, I would strongly recommend being very specific about your room category and view to ensure it matches your expectations.

• Suzanne (10/5): Went with a group of friends to celebrate a milestone birthday, & everything exceeded our expectations. We had a fan - The property is so perfectly nestled into the beautiful red rock of Sedona - everywhere you look is absolutely stunning. Wonderful location, amazing amenities (spa, restaurant, multiple pools…and the rooms!) and the staff exceeded at every interaction! Would go back without any hesitation and absolutely recommend to anyone considering a trip to Sedona! I really can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

• juliegV5415VJ (8/5): Almost a 4 star resort experience- needs refinement across all service teams and enhanced privacy features - My best friend and I spent our 50th birthdays at Enchantment in Sedona. The good:The property and location is unmatched. Gorgeous. Spiritual. Well maintained. Relaxing. The spa is out of this world nice. The beds are super comfortable. The amenities are plentiful. It smells like heaven. You can walk/hike/play tennis/swim/paint/draw/relax. All lovely. Areas for improvement: There is a disconnect between the very high level service presented by the valet, within the spa, the restaurants and the cleaning staff and then the behavior/attentiveness of the check in team and the concierge (strangely enough). They didn't seem to know our itinerary and essentially told us to 'check our email' when we had questions. We noted (everywhere) that we were there for a big birthday celebration and nothing was ever acknowledged/done with that. Which is fine but - why ask if you are celebrating something? It seems some staff are on constant watch for a famous person-sighting and when you are not famous their attention veers elsewhere. Service culture wise things were disjointed. The most problematic part of the stay was that you can hear EVERYTHING between two casitas. Everything. Unless this is remedied I would not chose Enchantment for a romantic get away because there is no privacy whatsoever between adjoining lodging spaces which is such a strange situation because otherwise this place feels like a restful sanctuary.

• E3390TWbenp (10/5): Breathtaking R&R - Truly an oasis in Boynton Canyon. Close enough to downtown Sedona yet tucked away so you can enjoy all the quiet time you look for. The hiking trails are incredible. The scenery is stunning! After a few hours hiking you can enjoy the pool or Spa. Take in some tennis or pickle ball. Or just relax on the grounds with your favorite book.
• AKC66 (10/5): Perfect Trip to Sedona - I stayed at The Enchantment for 4 nights with a friend and had a wonderful time! The location is great, with Red Rock views all around you and steps away from great hikes. It is a 20 minute drive to town so keep that in mind. Would've been nice to have pool service, but apparently they stopped pool service the beginning of October. There were plenty of people at the pool so it seems like it would've been worth it for the resort to offer that up. The trail house is great for activity option. We had Bill as our guide on a hike and he was great! All in all I would definitely stay here again.
• 184shelleyg (8/5): Beautiful setting but rooms need updating. - We truly enjoyed our stay at Enchantment. The beauty of the canyon setting and the access to trails are unparalleled. We also loved working with the invaluable staff at the Trail House. We took a day trip to the Grand Canyon with a guide who was not only knowledgeable but delightfully entertaining along the way. In addition, we had a few pickleball lessons with the pro, who accomplished more in 3 lessons than any other professional. He and the tennis pro were also very accommodating by playing a few matches with us. Finally, my massage therapist did an excellent job at Mii Amo. Her Intention Aroma Therapy massage was spot on. Unfortunately, there were a few things that could be improved upon. Upon arrival, the front desk staff did not greet us with a warm welcome. They had a welcome packet ready for another guest, called us by the wrong name, and treated us as if we were valued guests. We booked a Jr Suite for a week with the promise of a potential upgrade. The Jr. Suite we were initially assigned was dark, smelled of mildew, and had a nonexistent view -- it was slightly below ground, looking into a parking lot and the back of the Trailhouse. Additionally, we arrived at 4:30, which wasn't late, but we were informed that no other rooms were available. After talking with the manager, we were given a slightly better room but had to wait for it to be cleaned. The impression given by the front desk team was that we were subpar guests, which should never happen to any guest.

• stevecF3614CY (10/5): Relaxing getaway - My wife and I visited Sedona for the first time for our 25th wedding anniversary. This is the most expensive hotel I’ve ever booked. I would put it in the same class as The Broadmoor and Sundance (if you’ve stayed there) but I find it to be more intimate, peaceful and serene. The casitas are very nice (I was worried because some had called them dated but I did not feel that way) and they all have an amazing view. We did two beautiful hikes, some yoga, stargazing, ate at the restaurants and sat at the pool. I love the wellness focus with the fitness, hiking, fresh juices and smoothies, etc. The views are spectacular- I never got tired of staring at the canyon walls (and I live in Colorado). Overall very expensive but totally worth it. So, so relaxing.

• Ads509 (6/5): Five Star Views, Four Star Everything Else- Also the Food Is Terrible - Enchantment is in the most beautiful location and the grounds are well maintained. Beyond the location, the resort is lacking the service, food, and high end finishes of a five star resort even though it costs five star prices. Both of the restaurants are overpriced and serve bland, poorly prepared food with very limited menu items. The rooms are dated and lack high end finishes. The shower is similar to what you'd see in a three star hotel. And the staff is not very attentive- no bar or food service during the evening at the pool--very long wait times for a golf cart. Not great.

The landscaping is well maintained and the red rock views are breathtaking. The natural setting is truly special and creates the expectation of a remarkable stay. The Bad The reality did not match the setting or the price. Our room was not thoroughly clean upon arrival, which should never happen at a resort over $1000 a night. Unfortunately, that set the tone for the rest of the stay. Service mistakes happened every day. Food orders were repeatedly wrong. We were told multiple times that items were “on the way,” only to follow up 30 minutes later and discover nothing had been done. Calling the front desk or concierge was frustrating because no one answered consistently. At the pool, available seating was scarce, yet “reserved” spaces sat empty for more than five hours with no explanation. When we asked for help, staff rarely had answers and seemed disconnected from operations. The spa prices were extremely high, yet the experience was generic and forgettable. Overall, the service culture was passive and at times made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than guests. The Truth One mistake can be overlooked. Daily mistakes cannot. They signal a breakdown in management accountability, training, and basic hospitality standards. This resort relies heavily on its scenery, not its service, and the gap between expectation and experience is wide. We gave the staff multiple chances to correct issues throughout our stay, but the problems were consistent. If you value service, responsiveness, and a true luxury experience, think carefully before booking. We would not return and do not recommend this property in its current state.

Shoutout to Huan from Jamaica for carting us around the property, Em from Hawaii who served us the perfect brunch. Corinne who taught us how to paint gourds and gave us a history lesson in the town. The spa staff was life changing. Joanne left us feeling inspired and Mariposa helped us see the beauty within ourselves.

Pictures do not do it justice, you simply must experience it for yourself. We were there hosting a business retreat for our customers. The staff at Enchantment is top notch, anticipating every need. They are warm, friendly, professional and first class in all they do. Nothing was missed and you wanted for nothing. Mi Amo spa is breathtaking, I wish I had more time to spend there. And the pool area. Oh my! 360 views that were breathtaking. Visiting Enchantment is a MUST on your bucket list. Not once but many times!

• 444lineb (10/5): Exceeded my expectations!! - One of the most beautiful resorts in Sedona located in the magnificent Boynton Canyon. Awesome views at all times as you walk from your room to the restaurants, boutiques, pools, pickle ball or tennis courts, the famed Mi Amo spa, Trail House, etc. There are so many wonderful activities at this resort. Everyone will find something to their liking. I loved the restaurants, the spa, the hiking trails, the tours, and having my morning coffee on my balcony overlooking the gorgeous canyon.
• SciGuyMrD (8/5): Beautiful but, overall, good not great - The setting of this resort is wonderful - it’s biggest selling point - but overall it did not deliver the luxury experience that I would expect at this price point ($700+/night). That isn’t to say we didn’t have a lovely stay; the access to dozens of hiking trails and the scenery was wonderful. The pool was beautiful. Our King Junior Suite was clean and comfortable. But, other than the setting, nothing exceeded our expectations. There was not an elevated level of service or accommodations and, while we appreciated the convenience of the on-site restaurants (Enchantment is a 10 minute drive to downtown), both were average, and expectedly expensive. We had a few, small problems (keys that repeatedly didn’t work, absent housekeeping service) that I wouldn’t expect in a luxury property. I upgraded to a king suite in part for a balcony but ours was a first floor unit with the balcony overlooking the road and parking area. I also felt nickel-and-dimed at times with the restrictions on our room credit that was part of our package (can’t be used for retail purchases or for tips) and also with the unstated automatic gratuity in the grab and go market/ coffee shop at which we unknowingly double tipped each morning. Many of the above are minor issues that I would expect at any hotel but not at a “high end” property. Overall, we had a great stay, and if money is not a consideration, you too will enjoy the property. Just know it is more Hilton and less Four Seasons despite the price.

New to staff, he performed like a seasoned pro! Liam was so very helpful in getting us to our accommodations and helping us get settled in. He provided a wealth of info about happenings at the resort as well as hiking info. We had a late night run in with a scorpion, but the team at Enchantment was very helpful. Meredith made sure we were taken care of. Overall, 10/10. Don’t miss a chance to stay here!

If you want a peaceful location and fantastic star gazing, this is it. Casitas with decks are lovely in the morning sunrise and evening stars. Decor is dated and very 1980's but rooms spotless and the service fantastic overall. Resort overall is fantastic, but the one big disappointment was to see the "nickel-and-dime" upcharges given the already high cost of accommodations and events. Was billed $2 for a big ice cube, charged full price for a double, and $9 for a side-salad that was supposed to be included in the meal price (they corrected it, but had been overcharging guests for their sides for who knows how long).

However, you'd be better off staying in a camper at the nearby park rather than this resort. Service was generally cold, sometimes rude. No housekeeping the first day - I had to beg for towels for an hour. I felt like a target for upcharges (spa, classes, meals) rather than a welcome guest. The room was plain, other than the magnificent view. Stay nearby and hike the canyon. Not worth the $$.

• FLtraveler16 (10/5): Enchanting stay at Enchantment Resort - The Enchantment Resort was absolutely amazing! It surpassed my expectations, and so much more. It is probably the only resort I have ever stayed at, that I truly intend to visit again. If you are able, take my advice and do not miss a chance to see Sedona. And when you get there, The Enchantment Resort is a must. Let me hit a few highlights for you all. The Staff: I probably encountered ten to fifteen staff members during my five night stay, and I can say without hesitation, that each person we encountered was as pleasant and willing to assist us, as the next. From the valet staff, to the concierge, to the restaurant staff, maintenance staff, even to the housekeeping each person exuded friendliness, professionalism, and most impressively 'positive vibes.' They wanted us to be happy during our vacation and they were willing to go the extra mile to make this a reality. The staff if the heartbeat of the resort, and could not be better. The Location: The pictures of the resort are very accurate. Its like you are sleeping inside of a picture perfect postcard. The views from our balcony in building 8 were out of this world. The peace and quiet as we sat on the balcony and watched the sun disappear behind Boynton Canyon.... well..... I scheduled my day around this time after seeing it on day one. It was just too good to miss. You could not ask for a nicer blending of a resort into nature. Restaurants: The food at their high end restaurant was wonderful ! The waiter for my wonderful steak dinner, well he was probably the best I can ever recall. We had drinks at the bar of their southwestern restaurant and appetizers one night, and again, the food and staff were simply pure QUALITY. Oh and if you want something brough to your room (food, ice, WHATEVER) you can bet they will bring it with a smile. Extras: The resort pool is wonderful. Simply an amazing view. I did not want to leave it. (fyi: they have two more pools and a hot tub they don't even advertise which are smaller but still there). The Trail House guide was first rate. He gave us great advice and spent lots of extra time with us, even though we did not book any of their personal tours. Believe me if i weren't already a pretty seasoned hiker, these folks would have been the ones to utilize. They know their stuff. Just so you know I wasn't hallucinating (ha)and to prove I am a real reviewer, I will admit that we did have two minor blips with our room, but as soon as we called, the staff was enroute to remedy the matters. So no complaint here, I say Kudos for the customer service. So I will close by saying, thanks Enchantments Resort, for a wonderful time, and an amazing end to my summer of 2025.
