- Jonathan (6/5): - This was our fourth weekend at the Doghouse over the last 5 years our first two weekends were amazing staff and facility top notch the third we had lackluster service by the hotel and bar restaurant staff this fourth and last visit we seemed like a flat out inconvenience to them.. additionally the facility is showing some wear and disrepair.. we will not be returning sadly….

- Stacy (10/5): - Rooms were stocked with their breweries beer and had fun amenities like a record player. Very clean. Staff was super nice and the buffet breakfast was good. Brewery food was ok (the Louisiana fries were yummy) but atmosphere was awesome and beers were really good!

The area is also perfect because there a bunch of stores and restaurants just a couple minutes down the street. Complimentary breakfast was included. Definitely would stay here again. - Kay (10/5): - What could be more fun than a place that sells fabulous beer, has rooms that make you smile, and welcomes your four-legged babies with pats and treats? BrewDog is the BEST! Rooms are comfortable, spotless, and perfectly decorated. The food and beer is fabulous. The staff go above-and-beyond to make your stay perfect. And my dog loves the fenced-playground. BrewDog is makes road trips fun.

- allison (8/5): - We stayed here recently twice, once on the way to drop my son off at school in Illinois and a second time on the way back. The first time we got there late so we weren’t able to enjoy the restaurant, but we were pleasantly surprised with a free beer of our choice upon check-in in the room was really nice and clean. We had a really nice breakfast and then left early morning. On the way back we checked in early enough to hang out for a couple hours at the restaurant and bar. Their beer is really good especially the Elvis juice. A room this time was nice but I was not happy with a few things that were in repair. First, we couldn’t close our door and lock it when we left so we had to call the front desk person to help us and she showed us a trick to close it because it was broken. that’s not cool. They shouldn’t have put anybody in a room with the door handle broken or if they were going to, they should’ve told us about this upfront and should’ve given us a discount. Plus the bathroom showerhead looks like it was recently replaced and nobody bothered spackling or painting over the ceiling area. Other than that, our stay was good. These are little things that can happen anywhere so I still recommend this hotel. Plus the shower pressure was really really good in the shower was nice and hot. The property was really nice too.
- Kim E Stevens (10/5): Great place to stay with a pup - Amazing find, even without a dog. Room was clean, comfortable, and just a little weird. Bed was really comfortable. Only negative was the shower floor was really slippery. Could use a rubber mat or something. The place was excellent. Great beer, better than average food , and a full bar for those who don’t like beer. We were staying on a Tuesday night, so they offered $3 tacos, which were quite tasty. Had a nice outside area, with fire pits, etc. Even had a decent sized dog park, so dogs can run around without a leash. Dog was welcomed everywhere. At the price, especially since they don’t charge those ridiculous pet fees, it’s really hard to beat. If we’re in the area again, we would definitely stay again

- Jeff (6/5): Overall quality has deteriorated - I feel like the quality at this hotel has deteriorated. The last time I was there, they were pumping out the sewage tank while we were eating our breakfast and the entire lobby smelled of sewage. This time the door to the room didn’t work. One of the doors in the room didn’t work as well. Additionally, the guitar in the room, which I enjoy using when I come to visit was missing multiple strings and they had no replacements at the front desk. I told the manager about these items and he apologized, but downplayed it. Breakfast was late the following morning and I had to leave to get to work and missed it. I told the manager about this on the way out, and he also downplayed it. I called to mention my experience on the managers line but never received a call back. Overall, I am disappointed because this is not the quality I have come to expect when I stay here in the past. On top of that, the prices have gone up significantly. I hope the hotel will take this feedback to heart because my sense is they are trying to do well.

- Daniel (8/5): Dogs and beers - what more do you need - The hotel is in good repair and clean. But it is set up for your four legged friends - concrete floor, older but comfortable furniture. The amenities are great - beer fridge in the bathroom and mini-fridge in the main room are stocked with BrewDog’s best. The dog park could use some tending to - grass was pretty high and some areas of mud. If you’re looking for a low key getaway with your dogs and enjoy good beer and elevated bar food, you’ll enjoy this place. If you’re looking for luxury and spas, move along.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Unique Experience, but Dirty Rooms - My 16 month old and I were on a road trip home and stopped to stay at the Dog House. I was super excited to see the brewery and overall it was a decent stay, just not exactly a good fit for my toddler. Pros: •The vibe is super cool and overall a really unique place. •The attached restaurant was a plus. •VERY amazing staff! Cons: •Very long walk to carry luggage in. •DIRTY - I had to wipe off a thick layer of dust on the headboard (picture below) and the floors were pretty dirty as well. •No microwave and the only fridge provided is a beer fridge. •Restaurant food was kind of overpriced for the quality.

- Rebecca (6/5): - It was a really fun concept. I arrived and all seemed great but I continually had to go to the front desk because my key card was not working. I had to request housekeeping daily and ask that I get fresh towels daily. I had the opportunity to meet GM Dana who was very receptive and willing to help with anything. The other staff seemed very disorganized and more interested in just shooting the breeze and partying with coworkers. Over all I was disappointed. This concept was great idea but they need more training in hospitality to make this the experience they want for visitors.

The first night we had a dinner reservation, host was unable to locate it, ended up with a terrible table location which they would not change. Second night no reservation but it was not busy, still took a long time to get seated. Host stand seems to be very disorganized. The host was standing around the bar talking while several groups were waiting to be seated. Food was average. Servers were decent. The parking lot is quite a distance from the hotel entrance, pack light as you will be carrying everything quite a distance. Breakfast is included but does not start until at least 7am.

- Ronald (2/5): Why make a reservation?? - I got on hotels .com a d reserved a room, got a confirmation code and was billed. Drove all the way to the hotel jist to be turned away because they said they were at capacity. Last time I use hotels.com, wasted my time and gas money.

- Matthew (10/5): Amazing and unique - This place is great. But cut it a little slack. This is a place for drinking beer and being drunk. So you can imagine that things get beat up pretty quickly. This place has a brewery a huge barn a restaurant outside entertainment board games you can bring your dog everything. If you can find a good price on this place stay here. It is worth it just to go to stay in the hotel.
- William (10/5): 5⭐ for a Great Hotel but 1⭐ for customer service - I had a very good experience staying at the DogHouse Hotel in Columbus. The hotel itself is fantastic. The rooms are comfortable, the ambiance is unique, and it’s a perfect place if you’re traveling with a dog. Everything was clean and well thought out. The only downside was the customer service. I checked in around 9:30 at night and the desk clerk seemed more focused on chatting with a friend or guest sitting at the bar than acknowledging me. It didn’t slow down the check-in process, but it felt a bit disrespectful to have someone casually carry on a conversation while helping a customer. The next morning, I was also yelled at by the receptionist for having my dog “too close” to the breakfast buffet. My dog was simply standing behind me, outside the dining area, while I made a plate of food. Despite those two interactions, I still had a great stay. The hotel itself is excellent and I would definitely come back. I just hope the staff training catches up to the quality of the hotel.
- Olivia (10/5): Great place for people who enjoy beer! - Enjoyed all the beer perks. Beer at check in and then later there was cookies and a beer between 7-9pm. Enjoyed that the hotel bar stayed open later than the restaurant. Really loved the hotel. One suggestion would be to add specific parking spaces for hotel guests only that restaurant patrons can’t park in. We came back after adventuring and had to park really far away. Then in the morning our car was all alone and far out in the parking lot.

- Beckie (4/5): - We liked the concvienenve of it, and the fact they give you a check in / end of the day beer; however they were a few inconvenient issues with our birthday weekend stay. Our room was not ready at 4pm like we were told they it would be, which created issues with our surprise for the individual's birthday; then we were told that it would be ready very soon and we'd get a text. I never got a text, and 45 mins later I went up to the counter and our room had apparently been ready for some time. The beer taps in our room was not ready upon our entrance, and when I texted the number it took some time to get a response which told us it would be about 30 mins. We went down for dinner and 2 hours later, we still did not have the draft beer on taps, even after receiving a text asking if we needed a refill. The room it self was simply okay and definitely not worth the price. The shower was not 100% clean, they refilled the only hand soap with water, and our door was broken. While not fully upsetting, I was very disappointed as this was a costly night and a birthday present for my boyfriend.

- Shannon (6/5): Atmosphere A+…service not so much - The atmosphere was top shelf but the service was just eh. Check in was at 4:00. We asked if it was ready at 3:45 and they said the managers were doing an inspection of the room and it would be 4:00. At 4:00 it still wasn’t ready. At 4:30 they checked someone else in THEN checked us in even though we had been sitting there for 45 minutes. We stayed 2 nights, on the second day they sent a text asking if we needed our room serviced. I replied just towels please. They said great, we’ll get them to you. We never received towels. There was someone’s old makeup in our room, used dental floss on the bathroom floor and sticky stuff on the floor in the common area. They advertise cookies and stout from 7-9pm, when we went down they said “oh we haven’t had cookies for a long time” my 10 yr old was disappointed. The included breakfast was less than appetizing, they had no bowls for cereal, ran out of silverware and the sausage was burnt and hard.
- Holly (10/5): - Such a cool concept that was executed perfectly! We had so much fun exploring all the accommodations and brewery in general. We will be back!
- Verified traveler (10/5): A must stay!! - Cant even begin to describe how great this stay was. Theu thought of everything. From friendly staff to a clean and accomodating room, this was a top notch experience. And to finish it off, the breakfast was delicious!!

- Alisa (10/5): - Everyone on staff were excellent and very personable. The room was amazing. I got an upgrade due to a slight problem but it was fixed immediately. Excellent hotel and restaurant. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. Great job to all of the staff at the Doghouse!!!!!
- Sandy (10/5): - The hotel was totally unique and fun. Staff was amazing (especially Taz) and we will definitely return. The only problem we saw was that there was no clear walk to the hotel part. We had to go into the brewery to be told where to go, then we had to drag all our luggage through a crowded outside dining area to get to the hotel entrance.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Great property and staff! The entire property is unique and relaxing. The staff members were helpful by explaining everything about the hotel. Plus they were friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean, well stocked, and had extra touches that made our visit special. We are excited to stay here again.
- Chastity (10/5): - This was such a fun and unique place! A little bit from Columbus but honestly we just spent time outside, at the brewery and enjoying our room. Highly recommend!
- Maren (2/5): - First, you can only access entrance to the hotel from walking through the hotel OR outside by walking through the patio. So if it’s raining, good luck. I didn’t receive any response from front desk even though I texted them. (That was the ONLY way to reach them without going down and physically walking to the front desk/bar). We ordered food and the pizza had missing half the toppings on it?! - we walk in our room and there was a leak/ puddle of water or something on the floor and the fridge door was open. I told the woman at front desk something was leaking and she pretty dismissed it and said the keg was hot? - I don’t want to walk into my room I paid for and find a puddle, unacceptable. THEN, I took my socks and the floor felt like it hadn’t been mopped or swept in months! My feet were dirty, gritty and black and I had to wipe them down with a hand towel before I could get into bed, disgusting! There was dust everywhere, the table by the bed was dusty, the remote were dusty, the books were dusty! Seriously? Once a week cleaning would be fine with me but this is straight neglect. Our toilet wouldn’t flush so that was terrible. No urgency whatsoever with the staff. I complained to the front desk about it all and the guy said the manager would refund me but I have yet to see that come through. The manager didn’t apologize once or ask me any questions, just wanted to run my card and said thanks to me. No professionalism whatsoever.

- William (10/5): - Everything about my stay was excellent. I don't personally care much for craft beer, but those who do will have plenty of options. The staff is amazing and the restaurant is definitely worth trying.
