Frühstücksambiente war Ok (etwas lieblos, man musste sich die Sachen etwas zusammmensuchen und sich selber helfen)

La communication est très fluide également. Nous trouvons que le rapport qualité - prix n’y est pas : c’est cher par rapport aux prestations proposées : petit déjeuner pauvre en choix, transats un peu bas de gamme et certains cassés, jacuzzi avec une vue magnifique mais cassé sur un côté (pas de possibilité de mettre les bulles) et beaucoup trop de produit dans l’eau donc irrespirable avec les vapeurs. La literie n’est pas non plus à hauteur du tarif.

The terrace highlighted on the photos is not actually accessible from the hotel. There's another building in between the hotel and the terrace. It was loud at night. The breakfast was very modest.
• Viola (4/5): Humid room is the basement for a very high price - The location was very good, super close to the centre. The view from the terrace was beautiful We were given a room in the basement—we would not have booked here if we'd known ahead of time. The price was super high for such a room (EUR 500 for 2 nights). It was very humid, bedsheets felt damp because of the humidity, only a tiny window at the top, which made it feel even more claustrophobic. The mattress was the most uncomfortable one I've ever slept in. The Jacuzzi was out of use for both days we stayed there—considering it was Ferragosto week which is super busy, it was not ideal. The Jacuzzi was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. On Booking you can see pictures of multiple terraces, but only one of them was accessible. I believe the others are either private or belong to the building next door.

• Andrea (3/5): Bad - Only that is good located Everything. Everything. The room was in a basement with no windows. The pictures don't match reality, neither the interior nor the exterior. The worst breakfast. I only stayed two nights.
• Fadi (10/5): Amazing location - The location is superb and amazing 3 minutes walking from piazza Tasso where all the fun is. with the sea view that is unmatched , they need to work on the communication, to contact them is very hard I sent a message and no body replied until my day of arrival . The breakfast is ok but not a big deal it is ok as per European standards but as an American it is not any any ways I am in Europe so I will not complain plus every thing is close to you so if you don’t like it couple minutes away and you get what you want

• Doreen (8/5): - This property had the most incredible views of the coastline, with Mt Vesuvius in the backdrop. Our rooms were small but very clean. I wish there was a shelf in bathroom for toiletries. Daily fresh towels and bed was made. Every morning there was a small breakfast in the Social room. Great to get a cup of coffee and a little something to eat before your day out. A little difficult to get in touch with the contact person there at first, but then we were able to get in touch with her very quickly on WhatsApp. The B&B was in a gated area felt very safe walkable to everything downtown Sorrento . Would definitely stay there again.🤗

Room was comfortable, not very large but big enough for us. We loved it! The only thing I did not appreciate was that the owner/ contact person asked us to give a 10-star review, or refrain from reviewing, which is really unnecessary because the place is great.
• Susan (9/5): La Terrazza 38 was a relaxing, beautiful place to stay and enjoy the life all around Sorrento. - Stunning location overlooking the Bay of Naples. Lots of space on the terrace for sunset cocktails. Great air conditioning. Anna was a fantastic housekeeper. Jovanna, the host provided lots of great information about the surrounding area. The toilet upstairs was broken and made lots of noise one night that kept us awake for hours. The owners did come the next day to fix it and then it was not a problem.
• Ruth (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay here was absolutely amazing! The location is right in the center, just a short walk from everything – restaurants, shops, and all the main attractions. On top of that, the view was breathtaking, and we especially loved the terrace with a jacuzzi – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, and very well taken care of. We 100% recommend this place and would definitely come back!
• clinton (4/5): Read the reviews - There are alot of reviews that support this low rating not sure how it has an 8.8. The pool is a spa, the AC did not work the first night had to sleep with the door open as it was 90 in the room and the hostess left without providing an update after reporting the issue at 1pm on a Friday. Email regarding refund on part of the stay or compensation was met with a curt no-refund email, the only email responded to in an expeditious manner. Attempts to contact through hotels.com were never returned and they never contacted through whatsapp on day of arrival.

She said her phone had run out of battery; inexcusable for someone unlocking the door in the late afternoon as the front door was locked from 2pm when cleaner left. Did not see her again after that until leaving after 3 nights to pay tourist tax Room was tiny; double bed and walk sideways round the edge, just about room for a cabin bag each which had to be put on floor Cost was 300 euros per night; absolutely unbelievably bad value, even for Sorrento. I felt robbed to be honest. I felt like checking out but we had prepaid Breakfast was included… again unbelievably bad. No juices, nothing cooked except cold scrambled eggs there from 7.30am-10.30am .fruit was soft and going off day we first had breakfast and was same stuff there rotting on morning 3

You need to arrive before 2PM and leave by 10am. Staff are wonderful, but place is more like a guest house with great views and a jacuzzi.

Loved the jacuzzi and the great shower in the room. The air-con really wasn’t very good, we spent 4 nights there and the first 3 the aircon wasn’t really very cool and then on 4th night it had broken altogether, I mentioned it to the manager and was told it would be fixed the next day (after we’d left) & to open the window. The room was stifling and we didn’t get a very good nights sleep.

Very short walk to bars and restaurants. Close to the harbour which offers lots of boats trips including Capri and Positano. • alidD241LV (4/5): Sewer smell the whole time of our staying of 6 nights - My wife and I booked 6 nights at la terazza 38 in sorrento We arrived at 8:30 pm at the door trying to get a hold of someone to enter the gate. After 20-30 minutes a young lady responded and got us in. She took us to a room in the basement (Room 5 ) She gave me 3 keys one to the room One to the front door and one to the main gate. And since I had paid for breakfast with my booking (trip.com) she told me time of breakfast 7-10 am And she left and did not see her again after that. ( she spoke to us no more than 2 minutes And God is my witness) There was a horrible sewer smell coming from somewhere the whole time of our staying. When we get to the room every day my wife stayed out side for 10 minutes till I open the door and turn on the air and keep the door open to air out the room. They have no reception to speak to anybody The only person we saw was the room keeper that also prepared breakfast. I don’t recommend staying at this place Very unhealthy environment

You’ll see the comments from peop - The location was great — right in Sorrento with easy access to everything. The view from the smaller shared balcony was beautiful, and the host was helpful The main listing photo is misleading — it’s part of a shared complex and much of what’s shown (like the pool area) is fenced off and inaccessible. Our room was downstairs, very humid, with a tiny window and limited natural light. Breakfast was repetitive and basic. Overall, it didn’t feel like great value for money.

• Katherine (6/5): Pleasant - The location of this B&B is wonderful... the views spectacular and you can walk most places in Sorrento from this location. But beware everyone... this is a B&B NOT a hotel that is manned 24hrs/day!! The staff only works until 2pm so it is very hard to get to the place on their schedule!! This was not pointed out when renting through Hotels.com or the other websites. It was nice to be able to have a quick breakfast at the B&B but it could use some variety. The same spread gets old after 5 days and the scrambled eggs were cold. Also, don't use the cab service that they will call for you since the cab driver OVER charged by 2x as much as the ride there... plus gave us the wrong amount of change back. Not a great feeling to be taken advantage of like that. The pillows were terrible, they were hard like rocks... especially if you are use to sleeping on a down pillow.

Staff is friendly and helpful, even going so far as to work through a translation app to speak with us in English. Rooms are comfortable and clean, the location is perfect with the absolute best terrace views in Sorrento that overlook the port, beaches and Mt Vesuvius. We would stay here again and plan to in the future. Thanks so much for making our stay fantastic. 10 out of 10

• martyd240 (10/5): Nice small hotel in prime location - Great hotel / B&B in Sorrento, located off a small gated private driveway this hotel overlooks the bay with a prime location. Hotel manager was super friendly on arrival, room was nice and looked like the bathroom was recently renovated. Breakfast was ok selection , seating was a little cramped but all forgotten with a coffee out on the terrace which has some of the best views in town.
• Sherilynne (10/5): - We came in April over Easter weekend and what a treasure! Our room was modern and clean with a fantastic closet and bathroom. The view from the terrace was right at cliffside overlooking the Grand Mariana was gorgeous and there was the perfect complementary breakfast with eggs in the morning! You are right by the shops, a 5 minute walk to the train, and down the cliffside to the beach. Absolutely perfect- we wished the jacuzzi was open but April is considered off season. Still this was a gem!

The room was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped, and the location is perfect — right in the heart of Sorrento, close to everything. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, served with care. But what really made our stay special was the host — she was incredibly patient, attentive, and responsive. From the moment we arrived, she made sure we had everything we needed and was always available for any questions or help. Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here again!

Great walking distance to everything including shopping, restaurants, etc. View from the patio was excellent and the breakfast each morning was very well prepared and set up for us. The room we stayed in was downstairs and quite small and difficult for seniors to get up and down with a lot of luggage but we managed.

Which you enjoy while eating the delicious complimentary continental breakfast, and addicting espresso/cappuccino. The terrace overlooking the bay is wonderful for morning and evening drinks, mid day sunning or relax anytime (maybe overnight?). They have secured gated parking (difficult to find in Sorrento), and very very comfortable beds, and the best showers in italy.

The Jacuzzi was also nice; we used it in the evening. The breakfast was okay, and we had fantastic view from common balcony so far none :)

The pictures of the white-blue terrace shown on booking.com are not from this hotel, and you have no access to it, which was disappointing. The breakfast was very mediocre, ham-cheese toast. The place is overpriced. The host sent us a message after check out asking to give her a 10 review on booking.com or not give it at all, which I don’t think is fair to fellow travelers. Our room was in a basement, which was not a big deal, but there was mold in the shower and around the AC.

• Vicki (10/5): Lovely B&B, very close to centre, would definitely stop again. - Fantastic location, really close to the centre of Sorrento but we never heard the buzz of the centre once we were in the room and so close to the port where you can catch the ferry to Capri or Amalfi Coast. Brilliant air conditioning in the room. Staff were really kind. The view from the sun beds was great and the jacuzzi a bonus. It is a great B&B. Nothing - we had a fabulous week holiday

• Tina (10/5): Comfortable stay! - We loved the style of the room, the cleanliness of the room, the view of the amalfi coast through the private terrace, the jacuzzi is a must and ofcourse if you have a car they even offer you a parking spot in their own private parking spot. She even provided a video for us to check in when we arrived late, which was amazing! Breakfast was amazing as well, we loved it! Definitely coming back when we live in Sorrento.. I would only say the room was not cool when we had to leave as the air conditioning and electricity needed to be switched off. But apart from that everything was perfect 😍
