Relaxed environment, peaceful but offered activities each night at reception centre, eg:wine tasting, pizzas night. Family friendly. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The beds were hard and cabin a little small as well as only a little bar fridge in the cabin. Other then that it is awesome there and we will continue to go there for our holidays in our camper.

N - Cania gorge itself is a beautiful place but the park is tired and in need of some tlc. We’ve stayed a few times in our caravan but this time we tried a cabin (9). Very basic but expensive. The cabin was very over priced $178 for the night and it was at best a $120.

Jill (8/5): A few quiet nights with extended family taking interesting walks seeing wildlife (only 1 Bettong) - A beautiful peaceful place, very quiet time of year. Some maintenance needs to be done as there were many things not working: light in range hood, tv (kids movies each night & we had plenty of games) no tongs for cooking & the stairs to the water slide are very rusty.

De cottage was wel heel basic. Geen eigen toilet en douche. Let op dat je niet dubbel betaalt. Wij hadden al bij Booking betaald, maar kregen een paar dagen van te voren een mail met link dat we moesten betalen. De receptie wees ons op de dubbele betaling en heeft het weer prima opgelost.

Not cleaned properly. Bugs in shower. Grease on cooling plate. Utensils dirty. Stains on cups and plates. Fish and chips on the Friday. Chips were awful and re cooked in oil. Sold no drinks at dinner time. If you aren’t prepared with your own food and drinks. Not much option to purchase. Only from reception with not much option and half empty.
Tiffy9551 (6/5): Nice family break but be aware of the waterslide as its a safety issue - Location was what we were after, cabin was a good size. Pools were nice to swim in as there is three of them. Amenities were clean and not over crowded, camp kitchens were a good size and more than one one site. Ladies in the office were really nice. The slide rails at the pool were dangerously rusted out and just waiting for someone to cut themselves open. SAFETY ISSUE. Pizza night they were under the pump so under cooked the pizza to rust them out, when reported they didn't care. The little shop was a little under stocked for the school holidays. Check in took so long as cabins were not ready so you had to hang around for at least an hour. Thankful of the pool. It would be nice if the cabins had little air dryers to hang wet clothes on. Games room, most of the games didn't work for the kids. The jumping pillow was out of action and there was no other playground for the kids. New management told us we were not allowed to feed the wild birds like the last time, they feed them at a feeding area at a certain time but don't like it if you feed them. Silly really as that was one thing my kids loved the last time as they come to your cabin, its an experiences they should allow in this area, very wild.

Allison (10/5): Great weekend away, we'll be back very soon! - Staff made us feel very welcome and were very helpful. The cabin was nice, clean, in good condition and had everything we needed with plenty of room for the whole family to move around. The beds and pillows are thick, soft and comfortable, better than most other places I've stayed. The balcony has a lovely view of the bush, birds and kangaroos. Everything we needed for cooking was provided, but the menu looked good too. We loved the pools, water park, pedal carts and jumping pillow, as well as the bird feeding and the nice walks around the national park, which is only a few minutes from the accommodation. The camp kitchen, laundry and bathroom facilities looked good and suitable for lots of groups to use at once. Very affordable for a family, we're already planning our next stay and bringing my parents along, they're going to love it too. I can't think of a single thing I didn't like, it was perfect.

Tracey (7/5): Amazing location with great facilities. Some improvements needed - Location and the facilities. Beautiful grounds. The pizza night and wine tasting were great. We loved the wildlife roaming the grounds along with the bird feeding each afternoon. It is a great location to stay being not far from Cania Dam and the walks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. After some rain the roads within the park were very muddy with large potholes that did not drain. We stayed in one of the cabins and the induction stove was faulty, some cooking utensils had not been cleaned and the range hood light cover was falling out, just hanging there.

A tiny bit pricey for our small family, but we still made the most of it and will return again eventually.

Craig (6/5): Ok - Through booking.com we didn’t get what we paid for, after the first night we had to go to the office and ask for something a bit more suitable. We paid $150 per night for a cabin worth $130 per night. It pays to do your homework before your trip so you don’t have a bad weekend.
Di (8/5): The staff we interacted with were amazing….very keen to help us out. We loved the area and would certainly visit again - The bed was comfortable, and the Airconditioning worked well. The pool area and surrounds of the property were lovely. There was also Lots of birds and wildlife to be seen. The unit was quite basic, with only just enough kitchen facilities to cook a basic meal. No hot plates, but a small electric hot plate was available. The shower and toilet area was very small- wouldn’t be any good for big people!

Good value and serving size. The park needed some work done to the access roads to the cabins. Luckily we had a 4wd or else we could not have accessed our cabin. All staff were pleasant and helpful. A great stay.

Colleen (4/5): Disappointing - It was close to the hiking tracks we wanted to go on. The scenery was quite nice. The room was very old and not very well maintained. There weren't any gutters on the roof. The room was very dirty and the aircon was very mouldy and, in our opinion, not healthy to use. The toilet flushed, but the paper would return to the bowl. Certainly not worth $160.00 per night.

Tim (7/5): Great location, nice surrounds. - Nice place close to Cania Gorge. Electric frying pans in the room.badly in need of replacement. Everytime we used them (family rented 2 cabins), it took half an hour to scrub them clean. Be a good idea to replace annually. They are cheap. Some of the staff were a bit overbearing about rules. Cabin price was a little high for no bathroom.

Glenn (9/5): Nice place - Plenty of space for 4 adults with the 2 rooms and a kitchen dining area, very clean and a good shower. Nice park outlook. There were lots of playground / pool facilities but we didn't use them. Saturday night Pizzas sold through reception are excellent and HUGE! walking thought the 2nd bedroom to use the bathroom in the middle of the night was a bit tricky without waking its occupants.

Dianne (7/5): Cania Gorge is a wonderful place. So glad we went there and experienced the wonderful walks. Hi - We had no choice with the cabin. There are very few places to stay at Cania Gorge. The park is very pleasant and beautifully kept. We had a very old cabin.
Gallow (9/5): Superb - Our recent stay at Cania Gorge holiday park was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and excellent service. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family of 4. The kids had an absolute blast with all the activities available. The afternoon bird feeding, pool, playground and more kept them entertained for hours. We especially loved the family-friendly atmosphere throughout the park.The location is stunning, offering beautiful scenery and plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventures. We took advantage of the stunning nature walks/ trails, native wildlife, park activities and the whole family loved every moment. We had a memorable stay, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Overall, Cania Gorge exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it to any family looking for a fun, relaxing, and memorable holiday. We can’t wait to come back.
