Guest Reviews
- Jodie (9/5): Would come again for location and vibe - Location is excellent.
Loved the vintage vibe Big huntsman 🤣
- NATHAN (8/5): - Location was fantastic right on the water, and comfortable Is a little dated
- Angus (10/5): -
- Dean (8/5): Very enjoyable stay. - The location and view is really fantastic. Quiet spot too. The facilities are nice. Relatively basic, but good.
- Giselle (8/5): - Location was great. Air con was effective. Sliding door was hard to open. Electric stove not the gas advertised. No salt. No WiFi!
- Steve (8/5): - Location was perfect
- Judy (7/5): - We had a great stay and as it was advertised as a holiday shack didn't expect too much. It had a washing machine which was great but no outside clothes line or dryer which would have helped as the weather left a lot to be desired, which would have been handy only a small clothes horse inside. There was an iron but no ironing board and had to arrange for one to be delivered which was one that only sat on a table not a full ironing board which was a pain. We had travelled from Queensland so the ironing board was needed. The view was fabulous. Apart from the mirror in the bathroom only one other mirror. These are just a few small things that could improve the property for holiday makers.
- Chandni (5/5): A Serene Short Stay - This property is at a sublimely serene spot by the water. I loved the waterfront views and access. The property isn’t very well equipped with the basics normally expected of an Airbnb. We had to get dishwashing sponge, paper towels, body wash, milk, coffee, tea, extra toilet rolls. Two of the arm chairs were uncomfortable.
- Greg (9/5): -
- Tamara (3/5): Was ok not very clean - Not very clean
- Christine (8/5): Very good -
- Tony (7/5): Great water view location - Location on the water was excellent and good parking on site Property does need a fresher up, like the bathroom which has been upgraded already.
- Julie (8/5): Very good - That it was right on the water That lots of people set up on the beach right outside our back door so we had no privacy. We even had a homeless person there which made me feel very uneasy and therefore didn't sleep at all the first 2 nights which was disappointing.
- Purcell (8/5): Very good - Yes but no fish All good
- Katherine (7/5): Beautiful position, amazing lake, the house is basic, but no issues, just few shortcomings. - The main reason to stay there is the location, right on the lake, beautiful views, sunsets and sunrises are incredible. Total privacy, big yard, lots of room for kids to play, if going with kids. The house is very basic, as mentioned you stay there for the location. We had issues getting the keys out, called the number provided on confirmation, no call back at all. To our shock, the sliding doors on both sides of the house are not closed with keys, jus a very heavy sliding door with no outside handle - we did not find it easy. We stayed during the Australia Day long weekend, so 4 days 4 people, we were only given 2 rolls of toilet paper, so we had to buy our own, not good. Also the barbeque was very, very dirty - this should not be the case. Those are little things that can be easily fixed, but they make a difference to the holiday enjoyment, especially as we paid the top price, considering the long weekend.
- Carolyn (9/5): Superb -
- Steve (7/5): Good -
- Tanuj (1/5): Have travelled across Australia but worst place that we have ever stayed in - Only the location was good It was such a untidy place. Random insects lying all across the house, spider webs across the house. So unhygienic place specially if you are travelling with a toddler. Cutlery was so old, basic stuff like kitchen towel missing, no dishwasher either.
Shower essentials not supplied, basic requirements in an apartment like hair dryer not made available.
ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED specially if you travelling with family.
And the price of 500$ per night is just outrageous.
- Prateek (4/5): Disappointing -
- Peter (9/5): Just what I needed. - What a great place to stay. Very clean and plenty of utensils and good quality appliances. Superb positioning and view. Highly recommended. Nothing.
- Vicki (7/5): Good - The location was great.. the house was good but dated ..
Great water views No shelf in shower area for soap etc.. worn out, uncomfortable lounge furniture.. cobwebs inside and out.. could benefit from a little update inside the house..
- Kunpeng (10/5): Good. - This house has a big land and the backyard is on the beach, so you can have a BBQ on the beach, which is a unique experience. The door of living room cannot be opened, so we have to walk around the house in order to access the backyard. The TV is quite small and it is in a corner, so it is not okay to be watched with a conformable posture when siting on the sofa.
- Van (10/5): Exceptional - Scenery was pretty, waking up to swans, ducks, and can't forget about the seagulls was pretty nice. Nothing to dislike, it was comfy and roomy. Great location close to everything you need.
- David (8/5): Relaxing place, loved it! - All all we love everything. The sliding door is very hard to open. We stayed only at night and during the day we went out. Booking website charged $150 more than others, public do shopping around.
- Robyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Howard (8/5): Very good - Great view of the lake from the lounge with all the birds. Not far from town, good location. Great spot, Lakes Entrance. And I caught one fish from out the back. Needs something in the shower to put items on instead of floor, especially for older people. No washing up detergent.
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Johan (7/5): Good - The bathroom has been renewed; good, but there is no shelf or anything to store in the shower recess. Well put it on the floor?? Obviously done by someone who never has to use it.
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Monica (9/5): We had a peaceful, comfortable and enjoyable stay. - Incredible spot. Stunning view of lakes from lounge. Felt very private. A casual, comfortable and affordable holiday. Loved it. No hair dryer or body wash/shampoo/conditioner.
- Sally-anne (8/5): Very good - Location was great. Not appropriate for someone with disabilities.
- Anonymous (5/5): Passable -
- Allen (8/5): Very good -
- Staunton (7/5): Good -
