• Nicola (10/5): - Due to flight cancellations our stay in Chiang Mai was extended. As a result we stayed here for almost a month in total. We loved staying in Aphilapa Residence and were mire yhan happy to rebook each time our flight dates changed. Aphilapa is such a comfortable place to stay. The location is perfect (in the old city) at the end of an extremely quiet cul de sac. The rooms are clean and serviced each day. The beds are extremely comfortable. We stayed in three different rooms during our time there. The guest house is a beautiful wooden structure surrounded by beautiful plants. The hosts are lovely people. The accomodation is extremely good value for money. We have stayed in a number of other places when visiting Chiang Mai in previous years but this is definitely our favourite. Nothing at all.
• Nicola (10/5): - This place is a gem! We stayed here on our first stay in Chiang Mai and booked it for our return a few days later. It's quiet, tucked away at the end of a peaceful cul de sac. It's exceptionally clean, has a free supply of drinking water and fresh bottles are also provided each day when the room is serviced. The environment is lovely with beautiful plants growing around the guest house. Each room has a pleasant outdoor seating area. The owners and staff are extremely pleasant and helpful at all times. The location is excellent. We will return to Chiang Mai in the future and hope that we are able to stay here again. Nothing

• Monika (10/5): A charming old fashioned yet comfortable and clean accommodation - Aphilapa Residence was a lovely accommodation located in a quiet corner of the old town, yet close to temples, great food and massage salons. It had a nice authentic feel to it, a well maintained garden and a helpful owner. Out of 4 different accommodations in Thailand including hotels with swimming pools, our kids claimed that this was their favourite:)We found the 2 bathrooms for our 5 person family very convenient and appreciated fresh water and snacks every day! • Wolfgang (10/5): - Zentrale und doch ruhige Lage. Zimmer 204 im 1. Stock mit Moskitonetz am Fenster und über dem super gemütlichen Bett. Kühlschrank. Bad mit Vorhang bei Dusche, was nicht selbstverständlich ist. WLAN einwandfrei. Stets sauber. Nette Eigentümer, hilfsbereit. Wäscheservice wurde angeboten, alles prima an einem Tag erledigt. 100 % Empfehlung. Würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Herzlichen Dank für diesen wunderbaren Aufenthalt.

Nous avons pu arriver tôt le matin et laisser nos bagages pour visiter avant de revenir pour le checkin. Nous avons adoré toutes les petites attentions laissées pour nous dans la chambre pendant le séjour ainsi que les conseils pour les évènements du nouvel an. Nous recommandons ce logement à Chang Mai!!
• Guillaume (9/5): Hôtel très agréable - Situé dans une rue très calme dans la vieille ville, chambre petite mais bien conçue et très propre. Personnel discret. Possibilité d'arrivée tardive (heureusement car Air Asia est fâché avec les horaires). Dans les chambres du fond de la résidence, on entend les climatiseurs du bâtiment voisin qui se déclenchent à 5 heures du matin et se coupent en soirée. Le double vitrage n'est pas très efficace.

• Giulia (10/5): - Questa pensione nel centro di Chiang Mai é comodissima per la sua posizione! Ci siamo sentiti veramente accolti da Kwan e dal suo staff. Lei è stata gentilissima da accogliere ogni nostra richiesta (ci ha anche fatto il bucato in tempi record il 31 dicembre)! Le camere vengono pulite e sistemate quotidianamente. Abbiamo avuto qualche problema con le zanzare, la zanzariera sul letto è troppo piccola e non si chiude perciò è stata inutilizzabile. I dintorni sono molto silenziosi e si dorme benissimo. Lo consiglieremo sicuramente!

Letto comodissimo, lenzuola fresche e pulite, pulizia ogni giorno, bellissimo pavimento e mobilio in teak Sinceramente sono una persona autonoma quindi a me andava bene così, però hanno un bel tavolo che da su un giardinetto, se mettessero a posto l'area potrebbero fornire anche una prima colazione oppure mettere un microonde e lasciare che gli ospiti pranzino li

Restaurant- und sonstige Tipps waren super und zutreffend! Wir haben alle sehr gut geschlafen. Vielen Dank! Da es ein 4er Zimmer ist, wären kleine Leseleuchten an den Betten noch eine Verbesserung.
• HARPON (10/5): Séjour au top - C’est la troisième année que je séjourne à l’Aphilapa Hôtel à Chiang Mai et, une fois encore, j’y ai passé un excellent séjour. La literie est confortable, l’établissement est légèrement à l’écart de l’agitation de la ville tout en restant proche de nombreuses commodités. Certes, l’hôtel ne propose pas de service de petit-déjeuner, mais il est idéalement situé à proximité de restaurants agréables. Je recommande sans hésitation. Je tiens également à remercier tout particulièrement Kwan, qui, comme chaque année, s’est montrée attentive et bienveillante.

Was kind enough to send me a message with lots of information of places to eat and things to do. Good location nice and quiet but so close to shops and places to eat. Bed comfortable and had a nice place to put your clothes/belongings My only small feedback is the shower would be better if you could adjust the height of the shower head, it was a bit high for me on the wall

• Saskia (5/5): Budget Hotel in toller Lage - Tolle Lage, leise Klimaanlage, Familien geführt, Tipps, ruhig gelegen, wir durften früher auf das Zimmer Bett war zu klein für 2 Personen, was zu Problemen mit dem Moskitonetz geführt hat, es gab keinen Fernseher, sehr kleines Bad und "launische" Dusche, wir waren in Zimmer 3, ich vermute die anderen Zimmer sind besser

• Joanna (9/5): Lovely stay in quiet but central location - Lovely guesthouse tucked away in a quiet street in the old city. Very good location. We recommend Elliebum around the corner for breakfast. Comfy beds and very clean. Friendly owner who suggested some good places to see and eat. Good to have a mosquito net. Bathroom is small but adequate - turn the shower tap half way for hot water. Darker (blackout) curtains would be great but these are not common in Thailand. Overall few it was a lovely stay.

• Chiara (9/5): Kwan e la sua famiglia gestiscono il residence in modo premuroso e accogliente, vale davvero la pena andare a trovarli. - Residence molto accogliente e in un’ottima posizione. Zona tranquilla e silenziosa, lo staff è gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Kwan ci ha aiutato a prenotare un tour di Chiang Rai ancora prima del nostro arrivo e il transfer per l’aeroporto. Altamente consigliato per chi visita Chiang Mai!! Unico piccolo difetto è che il frigorifero funziona solo quando la chiave della stanza è inserita, come anche luci e condizionatore (scelta comunque ecologica ragionevole e apprezzabile), quindi non lasciateci cibo che possa andar a male quando non siete in camera.

• Devin (10/5): Excellent accommodation with silence and privacy - The property is conveniently located off one of the main roads, sheltering it from any noise or disturbance. The accommodation is incredibly clean and the wooden floors really give it a luxury feeling as well. The quality of the interior is high-end. The air conditioner is 100% functional. Not very much not to like. I would've liked to have a chair and desk but I knew in advance I would not. The refrigerator could've worked a little bit better.

Regular rooms are on the smaller side. We got the larger family room which is basically two rooms
