- Catherine (6/5): Overselling and undelivering - least value for money in Sri Lanka - The staff were all AMAZING, helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were the highlight of our stay there and the staff provided us a festive lunch for Sinhalese new year which we greatly appreciated. I’d say that the facilities feel pretty run down, rusty and unmaintained. They demolished one of the rooms (out of three) to the side to allow for larger build next door. This means the photos don’t match the reality anymore - grass is not as maintained, the stairs down to the beach are now just steel and wires that were left after taking out the concrete. Inside the room felt quite dated and requires some refurbishment. The owner should take responsibility for providing a more true description of what they are providing. The sea is also incredibly chopping - we are not sure if this is just because it was mid April and due to change monsoon seasons - it wasn’t safe however to swim inside. During our 1-month tour of Sri Lanka, we’d place this accommodation as the least value for money.

- von Nethen (7/5): Gute Lage, aber in die Jahre gekommen - Die Lage war sehr gut. Man konnte zu Fuß zum Turtle Beach spazieren (ca 5-10Minuten) und nach Unawatuna kann man 25-30 Minuten laufen, den Bus oder ein TukTuk nehmen. Auch nach Galle kann man sehr gut mit dem Bus fahren. Die Liegen direkt am Meer sind toll. Man kann von hier aus Schildkröten im Meer beobachten. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig. Es gibt eine Vorraum mit Wasserspender, Sofa und Tisch und dann ein Schlafzimmer. Die Klimaanlage hat sehr gut funktioniert. Am Tag unserer Abreise durften wir ohne Aufpreis länger im Zimmer bleiben. Das Personal spricht teils sehr gebrochen oder kein Englisch. Das Frühstück war im Vergleich zu allen anderen Frühstücken, die wir auf unserer Reise hatten, das schlechteste. Es gab etwas Obst, pro Person zwei Scheiben Toast mit Marmelade und ein Omelette, dazu und Tee, der leider ungenießbar war. Die Unterkunft war mit Abstand die teuerste Unterkunft unserer Reise und hat sich vom Standard nicht unterschieden. Hier fällt auf, dass die Zimmer schon etwas abgewohnt und die Jahre gekommen sind, daher finde ich den Preis einfach deutlich zu hoch angesetzt. Tipp: ein günstiges Hotel in der Nähe buchen und die Liegen für eine günstigen Preis mieten oder etwas Restaurant (auch das ist recht teuer) verzehren.

- Fiona (3/5): Je ne recommande pas - L’emplacement est en bord de mer. Le petit-déjeuner était ok. Le personnel fait son possible. Les photos ne ressemblent pas du tout à la réalité. C’est sale et mal entretenu. Nous n’avons pas du tout apprécié notre séjour. La chambre est spacieuse mais la literie n’était pas confortable et il y avait des tâches sur les draps. Je suis assez déçue car c’était quand même un budget 2 nuits dans cet établissement et ça a un peu gâché nos vacances … Le bord de mer ne justifie pas le prix et l’état.

It is close to the road which is busy and can be noisy overnight but we got used to it. Some areas are little bit tired and could do with updating or refresh
- Gert Jan (7/5): Gedateerde accomodatie op een mooie locatie aan strand - Locatie aan het strand , vriendelijk personeel De accomodatie was gedateerd , oude bedden, stoelen, ligbedden, oude parasols etc, hoogste tijd voor een update. Daarbij lag de accomodatie aan de drukke weg naar Galle, veel geluidsoverlast.
- Kristina (1/5): - В отеле украли деньги из сейфа , отпуск испорчен , абсолютное отсутствие сочувствия и желания помочь от администрации отеля , камеры на территории не работают ( хотя сначала зачлвчлось обратное ) , халатность в плане безопасности гостей отеля. К штатному персоналу отеля претензий нет , но утверждать что отвезя в полицию на своей машине администрация сделала все что могла это жесть . мы отдыхали с маленьким ребенком и женой, и отель даже не предложил покормить нас в день кражи, пока мы разбирались с деньгами, сказав кушайте как будут деньги вернёте , украли крупную сумму и местная полиция ни чуть не удивилась тому что камеры не работают . всем кто едет с детьми и не хочет тревожится о сохранности имущества лучше подобрать другой отель , за ту же цену на побережье их полно .

Очень большая площадь, было тихо и довольно чисто. - Персонал максимально дружелюбный и старался помочь. - Вкусный и разнообразный завтрак. - Техника, мебель, сантехника в хорошем состоянии. - После нашего раннего ночного выезда из номера пропал фен (или его украли?) , который был изначально в номере. - Локация находится на пляже, но заход в воду очень резкий с большими волнами. Для купания надо пару минут пройтись по пляжу

Het is verouderd en wij vinden het met €80 per nacht nogal aan de prijs (in vergelijking tot andere verblijven). We hadden er wat meer van verwacht. Ontbijt was niet heel bijzonder. Niet heel schoon.

Einen so paradiesische Lage, sehr schön geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung, das Personal super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich soo willkommen wie bei Freunden, gepflegte Anlage, bester Strand - herrlich zum Laufen, weit weg vom Trubel. Frühstück sehr liebevoll und das Essen war auch sehr sehr lecker… Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit bei Euch. Die Hauptstraße ist direkt hinter dem Haus; das hört man natürlich nachts: Oropax mitnehmen ; mich hat’s dadurch kaum gestört.

- Elisabeth (10/5): - Beautiful, calm and spacious villas directly at the beach, very friendly staff, good food and the best place within miles to get in the water and still be standing on sand, not rocks or corals. The villa was amazing and had everything we needed - I especially lovef the hot and cold water dispenser to make instantly tea or coffee while relaxing on the sofa. The place is perfect for relaxing!

- Manon (9/5): Heerlijk! - Perfecte locatie aan het strand. Het strand is prachtig, alleen wel gevaarlijk met zwemmen (hoge golven en sterke stroming). De tuin is goed verzorgd en de locatie is dicht bij het centrum. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en zorgt dat alles naar wens is. Ook de ruime kamers waren heerlijk. Voor kids ook een aanrader! Genoeg ruimte om lekker te lopen en te spelen. Enige minpunt is de gehorigheid. Het verblijf is naast een drukke weg, maar hier ontkom je niet aan.

В номере есть фен, полотенца, сейф, гель для душа, шампунь, мыло. Отличный пляж, выдают пляжные полотенца. Персонал отеля очень внимательный и вежливый. Нам было очень комфортно. Спасибо!
- Якименко (10/5): Вцілому враження найкращі - Розташування відмінне, персонал дуже уважний, повару окрема подяка, сніданок готував на визначений нами час, так само з вечерю - кожен день була нова страва зі свіжих морепродуктів. Все було дуже смачно. Персонал готелю щиро дбав про наш комфорт та безпеку - починаючи з того щоб нас не віднесло хвилею в океан :) і закінчуючи такими дрібницями як гральні карти, які ми попросили і нам принесли.

- chris (9/5): - Beautiful beachfront location with turtles in ocean directly in front of property. A 400 meter walk along the beach to turtle Beach where you can feed large turtles in the shallows. Our room was clean spacious and although it’s somewhat shows its age, it was very well appointed and comfortable. Private balcony with wonderful views of ocean. all facilities you could need within a short walking distance. The staff at the accommodation were excellent. Staff provided a wonderful breakfast. Kitchen staff available all day to prepare any additional meals you may want.

Das Essen war fantastisch, der Koch hat uns immer eine super Auswahl an verschiedenen Currys zubereitet, auch welche, die man sonst nirgends auf einer Karte findet (Banana-Leaves, Papaya, Papaya-Leave, Aubergine). Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und es war sehr sauber. Gute Entfernung um Galle zu besichtigen (25min entfernt)

We’re so grateful to Rasanga, Saman, Tharushka and Rahia for being helpful and friendly! Also there was a dog Ricky that I called Kiri, we gonna miss him! We enjoyed our time on Delawela beach even it was the end of season and ocean was stormy! It was beautiful and I enjoyed swimming in waves! Breakfast was great with Sri Lanka's omlet and fruits! Also we loved that we had the whole water cooler inside our kitchen. It was a great start of our journey on Sri Lanka! I gonna miss this place! In the morning it’s noisy road car sounds but we were fine with it

Only downsides are the bathroom and kitchen need refurbished, otherwise an excellent, relaxing stay. - Jose (3/5): over priced - Over priced. The photos are much better than the reality. The bed is nice and comfy Bathroom is awful Location is ok. Nice to be by the beach, but it is not private as they advertise or great for swimming. We were surprised how different the reality is from the photos. We complained and the management offered us a discount, even so we’d prefer value for money Breakfast is disappointing. They seems very reluctant to offer nice bread, and offer very minimal fruit, eggs and tea/coffee. We had to pay extra for juice. Considering the price we paid, we expected better quality of everything. Our room was only cleaned once. The entrance looks like a building site. Its right on a busy road.
