- Camper10698046638 (6/5): A 3 star rating for a 3 star hotel. - I'm easy pleased; my whole family is; but the breakfast was truly abysmal. I mean, actually inedible. The upside is: the hotel is in a great location. Close to the beach, shops, restaurants etc. Staff are helpful & friendly and the room was cleaned every day; so it's not all bad. I'd stay again but only on a self-catering basis. Be warned too. The pool is absolutely freezing! (Though some folk like that, I know)
- T6126CDcourtneyg (10/5): Highly recommend will stay here again - My friend and I stayed at this hotel for a week and absolutely loved it. The hotel, built just five years ago, is modern, stylish, and very well maintained. Our room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of mirrors and conveniently placed plug sockets. The large wardrobe had more than enough hangers and storage space for everything. Housekeeping was fantastic — the room was cleaned daily, our beds were changed several times throughout the week, and fresh towels were provided every day. The bathroom was also large and modern, featuring a roomy shower cubicle with two shower heads and a tap, all with great water pressure and constant hot water. The balcony was very spacious too, perfect for relaxing in the evenings. Although we had a safe, we didn’t use it — we left our valuables (cash, jewellery, iPads, AirPods, etc.) in the room and everything was always exactly as we left it. We felt completely comfortable and secure throughout our stay. We didn’t try the breakfast as it was traditional Turkish style, but we did enjoy the poolside food, which was tasty and well prepared. The location is excellent — right next to Blue Port and the beachfront, close to the main road, shops, and Migros. What really made our stay special were the people. Every member of staff was genuinely kind, friendly, and eager to help. We met the owners during our stay — lovely people who took time to chat with us. Omar, the manager, was fantastic — always approachable and willing to assist. The bar staff, Veli and Yusef, were brilliant — so friendly and attentive. Mohamed, who worked at the front desk in the evenings, was also extremely helpful and pleasant. We truly couldn’t fault a single thing about this hotel. Everything from the facilities to the staff made our stay perfect. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
- Excursion774571 (10/5): Brilliant stay at Sunway Hotel - Stayed at Sunway hotel for 12 nights, excellent hotel and very good location in Marmaris. Upon arrival we were greeted by a polite man on reception, who gave us all the information we needed. The room was spotlessly clean and very spacious, lots of storage also. The maids are lovely and always greeted us with a smile☺️ the pool staff are also very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, the pool area itself is on the smaller side, but we prefer this as we also like to visit the beach. I highly recommend Sunway Hotel and we definitely be back next year! Xx
- mark2tylr (10/5): Lovely little hotel - Ignore the negative reviews on here. Great hotel and great staff, nothing to much trouble. Rooms comfortable , good shower, comfortable beds. Air-conditioning and safe cost extra. Perfect location to beach, bars, restaurants, shops etc. Breakfast is okay but not a massive range. Dinner is ordered from a menu so a bit more personal, nice to dine by the pool in the warm evening. September not to busy so plenty of sun beds 😎 and not to busy round the pool. Enjoy

Worse experience ever, ruined our holiday - The owner is a horrible and miserable man who will take no liability when his own staff have been at fault, the hotel itself is rundown bathrooms have mould everywhere, dirty towels and beds sheets, awful lighting and the list can go on!

It is very central to a lot of restaurants and bars so the neighborhood does get loud but the rooms had sound proof doors so it was actually not a problem at all. We only spent one night as we wanted to visit Icmeler beach and this was a wonderful option.

- Susan (8/5): Room needs cleaning more thoroughly - Nice big room with great sea view. The hotel was fine, breakfast was good enough. The cleanliness of the room was not great, with hair on the floor and some grubbiness in the bedroom and bathroom.
- Jackiewelsh1 (8/5): Decent Hotel and Great Location - Honest review of Sunway Hotel, location is fantastic we had a seaview room which was nice the room was big enough with a double and single bed for the three of us and was clean with fresh towels. We were B&B some people seem to have an issue with the breakfast ok it's not 5 star but there is something to eat for all tastes you get what you pay for. Prices at the hotel for drinks varied bottle of Corona was around £5 cocktails around £6 we had lunch once at the hotel and it worked out around £28 with drinks and was ok, Harry Rams about a 2 minute walk down the street to the right as you exit the hotel is nice for food and Blueport shopping mall is reasonable for food. All in all a decent little hotel staff weren't overly talkative not an issue for me personally, but they were helpful when needed, don't be put off by negative reviews I would happily return to this hotel.

Rooms very clean fresh towels everyday the staff can’t do enough for you and the manager Omer was very helpful finding a room at the hotel for my daughter and her two children to be able to spend a week with us for that we were very grateful really lovely man as was all the staff. We will be going back there sept/October for sure which will be our third time. Well done everybody. Xx
- Nedaa (2/5): - By far this was our worst experience ever. Save your money and don’t get catfished by their photos. Upon our arrival to the property, we’ve been received by a very unprofessional, rude receptionist. We have booked a suite with two rooms that sleeps 5 people. He insisted that we need to pay for two more people as it shows on his end that we booked for 3 people only. Giving that the room price doesn’t change by # of people. We asked him to see the room to see that if it wasn’t enough so we can book another one, we went up with him & saw that literally it’s two rooms with one queen bed & the other with 3 beds however for some reason the toilet in the bathroom was disassembled! He commented they will put it together. Completed the check in, paid for extra 2 people, & he gave us only 1 key card for all of us! A card that it had been used for years with a sticker on it with the room number, & went to the suite. We’ve waited for 40 min for someone to come and fix the toilet, yet no one showed up. Called in & the receptionist said ITS FUNCTIONAL and you can use it. After that he didn’t pickup our calls. Not enough space to write about the horrible experience but the suite was extremely dirty, safe box that is in the main the room isn’t free, fridge smells awful, disgusting breakfast, & they have no access to the beach. The suite was partially sea view as there is a two lane street in front & a whole block of buildings then the sea walk then the beach. You need to pay to go swim.

- R5062CVmichellee (2/5): Worst hotel I've stayed in. - Arrived at approximately 8pm and the hotel looked very dark. Even our driver went in to check that it was open. Checked in and weren't even shown to our room, just told where to go. The layout was weird with the kids beds in the first room. No pillows on the beds and only a hospital style sheet/blanket on each. It was very cold so we asked for more blankets. The tv and mini fridge weren't even plugged in and the tv was missing from the main bedroom. The kettle was broken and blew the fuse in our room twice before they changed it and only 2 cups in a family room and 1 chair to sit on so had to sit on beds. We had paid for bed and breakfast but the next morning we went down and walked away. There was crumbs left off a loaf of bread stale cereal and no milk and some dried up stuff on another plate at the end. No fresh fruit or salad to be seen and the baked beans had been there for so long they were fossilised in the container. Safe to say we didn't go for breakfast there again. Gave up half way through the week and had to pay £6.50 per night to have heating on in the room. Had to ask them on the 3rd day to come and clean the room and they didn't even give us clean sheets. What you get is definately no what other reviews have said and the pictures from other website show. My advice if you want a good holiday in marmaris is don't stay at this hotel.

- Y118EQjulier (10/5): Nice clean modern hotel close to beach - I stayed here for 1 week with my teenage son but had our own rooms. Location is great, one street behind beach and near to shops and restaurants. I had a big family room to myself with 2 single bed and a 2nd bedroom with a double bed. Nice big modern bathroom and shower was good. Lots of storage space and 2 balconies. Had a side sea view. Safe was in room and you set own pin code so I felt it was secure. Pool area was clean and never busy so always got a sun bed. Breakfast had plenty of choice. Didn’t spend any evenings in hotel so unsure what it is like but was always quiet when I returned. I would definitely stay here again.

- Z6135OFmegant (4/5): 4/10 - 4/10 stay NOW I’m not a one to sit and twist at hotels cos I think you get what you pay for HOWEVER, Few bad points tbh, when we first arrived we were greeted by two men, both looked at my baby girl and said she’s so cute then started speaking Turkish and we really felt they were talking about her as they was looking over talking etc wasn’t communicating with us. They made us feel really uncomfortable.l at check in so wasn’t a good start for us tbh. Air con is £45 for 5 days, scandalous usually it’s £5 a day everywhere else in turkey. No entertainment whatsoever no staff even try to play with children or as much as interact. Total different experience from other places in turkey. So…in regards to having a baby as they knew (10m) I went to cool down a bottle in the bathroom and realised we had no cold water. The next day our 6yo and 11yo jumped in shower and said it’s absolutely boiling, now I love a red hot shower so I went in, it was ok for first few minutes but after that it was scorching hot! We left it and later on down the pool my bottle was just a little too hot (mams you’ll understand) so I asked why there isn’t cold water in room? They said there just isn’t I don’t know. So I said can I have a cold jug to cool it down with a. Reply of ‘no cold water’. So the next morning I showered my baby (well tried) and I was furious. So went to jet 2 to ask for a change of hotel this was no good to us red hot showers with a baby. I had no jugs or anything or seats to mix and make it cooler. Jet2 got onto them and tada the COLD water was switched back on! Absolute disgrace to turn it off all together!!! There drink prices are a fortune, if they see you take a drink in from shop they are instantly over. Someone’s always watching you, you just feel the staff eyes on you all day, the one in black with slick black hair never cracked a smile once. The manager sits and watches you on the cameras all day. (So a lady said who knew him) just really bad vibes not sure how everyone seeems to have good experiences because ours was awful. They pressure you to choose your tea at 11am in morning I mean who fancies the tea at that time. Breakfast absolutely disgusting we’ve never been to a good hotel for breakfast in turkey though. If you like toast then you’ll be fine haha. Stale beans from night before aswell as reheated chips. Tea menu was ok you choose from the menu, the chef was lovely always had decent crack and was always polite as well as a good cook As well as one other staff member (red t shirt seen us out the hotel he was fab The rest of them are moody and just not polite and don’t give off a good vibe. Especially when greeted with men talking about your baby in a different language. Never ever will o return here. Hotel room you cannot fault very spaceous and clean/ish from a distance (I’m a cleaner so standards are higher) we did have a nice view room too.

- laurenrW6182PA (4/5): It’s a no from us - Not a great start travelling with my partner and two children to arrive and be told that my room was already occupied by mistake and would have to wait for the other guests to leave the room before we could access it, no fault of the guests and the staff were very apologetic but arriving early hours with two tired children and that heat was not the best start. Was charged a fortune for air con in family room which reported twice because wasn’t working properly to which he come up took apart swept it with a sweeping brush to be told it’s now working. Went down first day for breakfast not a lot of choice even for kids didn’t bother going for the rest of the time we were there. Didn’t spend time by the pool as the hotel staff were very hostile almost like an atmosphere so spent most our days at the beach and at another family members hotel. However the family room was great two spacious rooms two bathrooms and two good sized balcony’s although there was a few things in the room the handyman would Probaly need to look at. Also location was the hit for us brilliant little spot. Would I stay here again? No. Nothing about the hotel was family orientated and have booked to go to the other hotel we ended up spending a lot of time at.

- laurajade942016 (10/5): Amazing place! - Well i dont know where to start! If you want somewhere clean, basix, comfortable and homey to stay here is the place to go! I have been coming to this hotel 3/4 times a year for the last 3 years and i wouldn't want to stay anywhere else! The staff are amazing, friendly, helpful and cant do enough, the day receptionist, kadir is absolutely amazing cant fault him ever! Its quiet and chilled with the odd period of popular music, beautiful basic pool. The only complaint is the price for food and drink but id still never stay anywhere else.
- lundy96 (6/5): Clean and conveniently located - Hotel is convenient and just set back from the beach front. The room was clean and large enough and the shower was powerful. Had to pay £40 for AC which I think is expensive. The pool area is small but plenty of sun beds. Breakfast was poor ! Very little choice as I don’t like chips or soup or cheese in the morning ! I managed to make some toast and had boiled eggs each day. If they could improve the breakfast choice I would have given an extra star. Overall it’s acceptable and I used it as a base.

The service was brilliant room was a good size also very clean. All the staff were great. Enjoyed my stay as I found it peaceful. Plenty of sunbeds for a small hotel .It is situated near the beach , shops bars and restaurants nearby.Yes I would stay at this hotel again.

- Najma (8/5): - This hotel was family friendly. The property was located in a good area it was close to the beach but away from noise pubs. I stayed at the family suite. It had two balcony with pool view and sea view. Hotel was clean and my room was clean regularly. Staff were friendly. Pool area was nice and clean with one adult pool and a small children pool. My family and I had a good experience and would recommend this hotel. Only improvement is breakfast. It would have been nice if their was a bit more variety of foods such as fruits and breads. Turkish breakfast would have been nice experience for the guest. Overall, the property was safe and clean.

- 996sohaila (8/5): Decent hotel - Visited Sunway hotel with family of 10. On arrival was told we had to pay for Ac which not too happy about especially as we had 3 family rooms. However the family rooms were really nice and worth it. The hotel itself, apart for the rooms is very warm, I think if they could improve this then great. Breakfast is standard. Pool was very nice and a good size. Beach and shops are walking distance. Has an excursions place next door. Hardworking staff who always tried helping. Decent hotel.

Yeşillikler yıkanmamıştı ve böcek çıktı. Miktar ve çeşit olarak yetersizdi. Paket sarelle vs erimişti yenecek durumda değildi. Ve üç gün boyunca hep böyleydi. Tek iyi şey karpuzdu. Temizlik-oda: tam anlamıyla hayal kırıklığı klozet kırıktı ve içerisi siyahlaşmıştı. Havlu ve çarşaflar lekeliydi. Duş ürünleri ve oda terliği yoktu terliği isteyince verdiler. Oda ikram namına su dahil hiçbir şey yoktu. Havlular değiştirilmedi oda temizliği ise sadece bir gün yapıldı. Hizmet: konuşmaya gerek yok çünkü işletmenin öyle bir şeyden haberi yoktu. Üç gün boyunca kimseyle iletişim kuramadık geçerken yüzümüze bile bakmıyorlardı. Kısacası asla tavsiye etmiyorum fotoğraflara kanmayın tam bir hayal kırıklığı.
- Flyer14575862306 (6/5): A hit or miss - An honest review of Sunway Hotel, as a couple, we arrived around 1am and was given a family room and we had unpacked everything and gotten changed to go out, as we arrive downstairs we are confronted by staff saying we need to change your room NOW as we have made a mistake. Another woman had arrived with the same name as me as in “Lauren” not last name but first. This wasn’t a great start but we passed it because the staff did apologise but then proceeded for the whole 10 nights we were there to not say a word to us and multiple times had they just walked past without any conversation. There was another few times we had lay by the pool and staff served 2 girls asking if they would like a drink and asked for their Snapchat. We would have appreciated customer service as we don’t pay for the hotel to feel like ghosts every day but anyhow. The breakfast was maybe a 6/10 there was a few English cater like beans, eggs and fries and you can get along with fruit and salad too but mostly Turkish cuisine which is okay as we weren’t that bothered. The rooms are the best part, comfy beds, air con is decent although it is £90 for 10 days. Theres a mini fridge, hair dryer is quite powerful for the girls as this is one thing I worried for. It’s not a place I would like to stay at again but it was an experience. It’s just a shame the young men at the bar don’t ask everyone for drinks and single out girls.

- 101olwynd (8/5): Lots of positives but..... - Had a week at this Hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable including pillows. Air con, although charged extra, was excellent and worth every penny. Pool is small but adequate with a small pool for children. Sun beds always available. Location is fantastic close to beach, bars, shops but still quiet at the hotel. Only complaint we had was the food. Would not have half board again. Advertised as Al acarte but was just choices from cafeteria menu, see photo. Also despite what you ordered it didn't necessarily mean that would be what you received. We have to say the meals were a big disappointment for us. The best meal of the week was one on a boat trip. That said the food was freshly prepared and nicely presented. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Its near to beach i think its Just 60 metre. Just 1 minutes for walk i was having lunch and diner also. Bar and pool side its very nice there is also WiFi in poor area also. When you out also location is perfect everthing is near to you. For example restaurant shopiing market,mall of marmaris. Also you can book daily excurtions. Activity. Boat trip was nice. For children there is aqua park also. Its Just 70 metre near to hotel its name atlatis The hotel itself was clean relaxing and welcoming The rooms were bright clean well Equipped and comfortable..great sea view..they are cleaning everyday you can get fresh towel The swimming pool was marvellous. For the price i paid . It was a brilliant stay ... I would recommend this hotel. Indeed
- Paddywack41 (8/5): Good Hotel with a Few Minor Issues - We went as a couple (M60 F60) for a very long weekend break at the end of May. The hotel has a number of positives but also a few negatives...some of the negatives could probably have been resolved if we had more time to get them addressed. The Positives - The hotel is in an excellent location a minute from both the beach front and the main strip of shots, restaurants and bars. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and unlike some others we had not issue at all with the staff who were always friendly and ready to help. The rooms were of reasonable size with the standard slightly to hard twin beds that you normally get when heading in the direction of the sun. There was a mini fridge aircon and safe and although no kitchen for self catering there was a kettle. Breakfast in the mornings was standard continental type with a couple of cereals, meats, cheeses, eggs, bread and soup as well as the normal coffee and juices and this was more than enough to keep you going through the morning. The pool at the hotel was small but perfectly adequate for the amount of guests (at least at the end of may) and there was never more than a couple of people using the loungers of which there were many. The negatives - The aircon had to be paid for at roughly £6 per day. This I dont normally mind but easyjet holidays had neglected to tell us this and it was this that annoyed me probably more than having to pay it. The safe had to be paid for too although we didnt use it as the short trip meant there wasnt much in the way of valuables with us and the locks on the doi ors were good as well. The two biggest negatives for me however was the aircon was a bit of a con....it didnt really cool the room down and really only acted like a normal fan blowing the hot air around the room. I suspect it was broken and we should have really reported it but with us getting in late the very first night and then only there for another two we frankly couldnt be bothered. The other thing which would be easy for them to resolve was the walk in shower cubicle. The shower itself was fine and neverhad any issue with the temp of the water but the cubicle itself was like an ice rink once wet. For anyone with mobility problems or or a certain age (like us) it really was precarious. A simple anti slip mat or stickers would have been a chea[p solution. Overall a really decent hotel that I can recommend if you are going to Marmaris. If the air con and slippy shower was resolved I would have given it a 5 star review.

- talman70 (2/5): 1st time to Turkey - Hotel staff rude & unhelpful. Arrived at 2am due to flight delay. Wrong room allocated and then moved. No air conditioning - you have to pay £40 per week. Employee stated we could have it FOC due to the mix up with rooms! In the morning new employee said he would never have allowed it, basically calling me a liar! Been here 4 days and no one has spoken to us since. Marmaris is busy and lovely but have really enjoyed our stay meeting lots of people and enjoying the walking, shopping and food. Weather has been boiling every day so air con is a must! Fredonia coffee is great, as well as food places along the main strip! We had a set menu £22 3 courses plus a drink at The Manadarin Chinese which was fantastic!

The options to change a room with the conditions specified by us and even paid for, it did not become clear if there were any and we stayed. The hotel is in a good location and offers a beautiful view of the sea, mountains and islands.

- Sightseer18104845656 (2/5): Sunway Hotel marmaris - Stayed in this hotel in September with my husband and my sister we were supposed to have sea view room which we payed for 1st our room 307 was not a sea view room. There was a smell in the room but thought nothing of it at 1st as it was not to bad .Anyway went to reception to say we booked a sea view he said there was no sea view rooms left as it was in the middle of the night we couldn't be bothered arguing with him tried again next day ignored we went for breakfast cups filthy hardly any cutlery two tea spoons for coffee and tea between everyone they sat in glass of of dirty water the bread sat out open no tea towel to cover to cut so everyone was just picking up bread with their hands plates dirty. Anyway with all that beds were not changed once holes in wall . As it got hotter the smell became unbearable in room again we went to reception and complained the receptionist was not interested je said ill send up cleaner the smell was coming from drains in bathroom her solution was to put a peace of toilet paper over the drain and cover it with toilet brush holder receptionist would not even come to room by this time my husband was getting annoyed after heated discussion my husband said look this is not the room we payed for we payed for a sea view the receptionist called Him a lair as u can imagine my husband was raging he said ill get u the paper work returning to the room we got paper work and went back to reception guess what he was gone the manager said he is having family dinner and to stop making a fuss we had to wait another 3 days with an utterly smelly room till the jet 2 rep came on the Thursday showed her all photos. And ask her to come to our room the smell was so bad by then she could smell it b4 she even got to door she made receptionist come too she said to him can you not smell that he said no anyway got another room no sea view but no smell room 207 a joke bed base huge mattress tiny plenty of bumped knees toes as you had to step about half a foot each side my husband is a size 10 shoe from base to mattress my husbands foot still was room to move feet again to the edge of the bed please AVIOD we stay in turkey twice or the times a year and don't expect much unless we are lucky enough to go All inclusive which we do once a year PLEASE Don't go our holiday was ruined from start to finish Jet2 answer £60 refund after spending £600 each

Ensin meille sanottiin, että ei ole mitään mahdollisuutta saada varaamaamme huonetta merinäköalalla. Hyvityksenä meille tarjottiin ilmastointia maksutta lomamme ajaksi. Seuraavana päivänä ja useamman tiedustelun jälkeen huone kuitenkin olisi yllättäen järjestynyt. Tämä huone olisi ollut ensimmäisessä kerroksessa, jossa maisema kuitenkin oli huono. Asiakaspalvelu oli ylimielistä. He eivät osanneet kuunnella asiakasta ja puhuivat päälle. Aamupala oli yksinkertainen ja astiat loppuivat kesken. Mehu piti juoda kahvikupeista. Myös siivous oli huonoa. Oli iso virhe valita tämä hotelli. En voi suositella tätä hotellia kenellekään. Ainoat hyvät puolet oli hyvä sijainti ja riittävän kovat sängyt.

Breakfast is provided but we didn't sample it & the manager did offer to make us a meal before we left on our last night but we had already made plans. Hotel is quiet & more suited for couples or someone looking for a relaxing break. Only stayed for 2 nights but would definitely return.

Need to check some small things like room during check in (ordered sea view, firstly went to city view). Once have not got towels in the room after clean up. It took time to get it. Anyway personal is friendly and everyone tries to help you. Breakfast is good and tasty (no need to look other places), varies a little bit each day. Good dining area. Internet is good but sometimes it could be a problem for calls in the room. Internet is quick and reliable at the lobby.

- Caner (8/5): Merkezi konumlu ve temiz bir otel - Otel gayet temiz ve merkezi bir konumda idi, 3 gece deniz manzarali cati kati odalarindan birinde konakladik. manzara cok guzeldi tek sikinti en ust katta wifi sinyali cok zayif oldugu icin internet baglantisi sorunluydu. Oda temizligi kac gunde bir yapiliyor bilmiyorum ama bizim "oda temizlensin" sectigimiz gun odayi biraktigimiz haliyle bulduk. Kapali sezonda gittigimizden olsa gerek arabamizi dogrudan otelin onune park edebildik, dolayisiyla park sikintisi cekmedik.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Terasse und blick auf das Meer, das war Traumhaft! Allerdings war das Zimmer nicht Sauber als wir eincheckten. Es lag ein Haarbüschel im Zimmer und Dusche, das nicht von uns stammte.Die Zimmer waren groß, leider zu Dunkel. War aber ok für den Preis, für das wir eincheckten.

Let me start off by the staff , their English is very very poor communication is actually so hard. 0 hospitality, they weren’t welcoming at all. It literally took us 2 hours to check in because of their problems. The lifts smell so bad , we told them once and twice but unfortunately there was no change. With all respect I don’t recommend anyone to stay at that hotel. Very disappointed

Beds were not comfortable and sheets were not changed however I asked for replacement and they were still dirty and towels had stains on them. Curtains were stinky. Never ever will go this hotel.
