- JOSE BIBIANO (9/5): Me trataron bien - Si
No volvería realmente
- Andres David (2/5): -
- JERALD (10/5): - One of the best place to stay in Chapinero.
Price and service considered.
Overnight front desk gentleman is very helpful and full of knowledge about the area.
Roof top view is amazing.
My to-go-to accomodation in Chapinero.
I wish i could request for extra pillow.
- David (8/5): Nice affordable hotel in Chapinero - Good Hotel
I will definitely stay there again
Staff was awesome
Especially the. Lopez. Sisters
I recommend this
- JERALD (10/5): - 5/5
Hotel is in the heart of Chapinero.
Free breakfast. Beautiful rooftop bar.
Not too fancy. You get more than what you pay.
What make this hotel special is its people.
Daisy is always helpful and willing to accommodate request and questions.
The check in agent overnight is also very efficient checking in late arrivals to get on their way.
I arrived 4am at the hotel and waited not even 2mins to get checked in and get my room.
Way to go!!!
- JERALD (10/5): - I have been staying at this property for few sometimes and I always love the warm approach of the staff. Leslie, one of the staff is always ready to answer your questions and open to give recommendation about the city.
Very affordable place to stay and in the middle of Bogota City.
Will stay here again.
- Jaysob (2/5): - Usan otra foto y después te den otra agitación y después no te quieren dar reembolso
- SANDEEP (4/5): - This hotel is located at the busy traffic intersection. during the night you can hear lot of traffic noise in your room and you can only sleep if you are very tired. Rooms are very small. Wi-Fi is very good. they have a restaurant at the 9th floor where the breakfast served is omelette juice and tea. around the hotel you can find supermarket McDonald's KFC all nearby but the biggest problem of this hotel is the noise of the traffic and horns which you can hear whole night.
Experiencia horrible
- Leandro (6/5): - Property was okay, not fancy at all, quite frankly it was very poor looking. Room is way too simple,
Staff was friendly and the zone around the property is very noisy since it is in the middle of very moved streets.
- JERALD (6/5): - I booked a hotel room and I didnt get it. Intead, i good a room with a single bed and without a window.
It's cold in Bogota but the room was hot as hell. The room has a vent by the washroon wall and all the noise comes from the outside make you awake all night.
Bad experience.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I had a bad experience. I am a senior citizen. When I went to check in, I felt discriminated against, I saw how the hotel manager himself attended to other customers who arrived after me. When I complain, he sends me out. I even threatened with the police. just to make a rule. After I got canceled from my trip and he told me not to stay at his hotel again. How sad is the bad example that the boss himself sets for his employees
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was okay. Not the cleanest, one roll paper. The TV kept shutting off and turning on. Wifi sucked.
- Mahmoud (2/5): - No one was speaking English.. the room was too tiny and very dirty
- CarB69 (8/5): Well worth the money - Location: The hotel is located on a short walking distance from the Calle 57 Transmilenio station. There are grocery stores and cheap diners right outside. The area does not have a shady vibe.
Room: The room was small but in good condition. The rain type shower had great water pressure. The room also had a large window and an equally large bathroom mirror. There's an electric outlet near the bed. The bed was adequate, neither terrible or great.
Noise level: The room was not sound proofed in any way, and traffic from Calle 53 could get pretty loud even on the 6th floor. There were also some noise from other guests in the corridors and other rooms, once even at night.
Internet: The 5Mb WiFi in the room was stable enough for casual use, but a bit spotty for work. The best WiFi is found in the 9th floor restaurant . The reception area WiFi did not work at all.
Breakfast: A piece of white bread and scrambled eggs made to order with a choice between two available fillings of the day, usually some variation of ham, cheese, or maize. The rest was buffet style with butter, fresh fruit, coffee, hot chocolate, tea and fruit juice, but no milk. Breakfast is served at the 9th floor restaurant which is quite nice with a panorama view over the city.
Staff: None of the restaurant or cleaning staff spoke any English, and as far as I'm aware, neither did the reception staff. For those like me who are trying to learn Spanish this was an opportunity for practice, while for others it might be negative.
- JOSHUA (8/5): Affordable hotel with great views from restaurant - Fairly central location, affordable hotel with a panorama restaurant/bar on the top floor with views of much of the city. Friendly, helpful staff. I like the staff members a lot. Wifi could be better
- Andres (8/5): - Muy normal
- Mark (4/5): Kein 3 Sterne Hotel !
- Franciscolirian (10/5): - Only the noise ,on the street all night long but there's no way because it inside bogota and also the food inside the property it so expensive
- Sabribarsoum (10/5): - Excellent location. Excellent value for money .excellent staff.
- David (10/5): Good Hotel - Good affordable safe comfortable hotel in central Chapinero area of. Bogotá. Room was small but it’s ok. Would recommend and stay there again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I understand this is a budget hotel. I had low expectations when arriving. I arrived late and upon checkin was given a room with no window (even though i requested one). It felt like i was sleeping in a prison cell and the bed was VERY hard. The second day i requested a better room. I was moved to a better room with window. It was much nicer but again the bed was super hard and the Acoustics are horrible, I could hear cars all night beeping and other residents ect... long stort short. I went to the manager with this and politely requested refund. He completely denied the idea. I asked for 50 percent back and it was a big no.
I am not a picky traveler. I have stayed in budget hotels before. If you are okay with loud noises and a hard bed this maybe a good option for you.
On a plus note the front desk staff were very friendly people.
Stay clear of this place! Spend the extra 20 and get something much nicer!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I never showed up. I relived that the hotel was too far from the airport. So i never checked in
- Verified traveler (8/5): - the photos and the description make the room sound larger then they are it was a pretty small room from most hotels i have stayed at
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good place to stay for low money, at little dirty but during day safe area of Bogota.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good service and berry cleand and closed to all stores
- Franclino (8/5): Decent hotel, lack of hot water at times. - The hotel is modern and clean. The location is great with a lot of shops and restaurants nearby.
The room itself was nice and comfortable.
The only problem was the lack of hot water for the 4 evenings that I was there. The shower was really cold. There was hot water in the shower 3 mornings out of 4. There is no hot water in the basin.
Breakfast was OK.
So, 4 stars because of the lack of hot water. Otherwise, it's a nice hotel with friendly staff.
- Stephen (8/5): Nice clean hotel - Nice hotel. Just what we needed after a long journey from Australia. We arrived really early but they found us a room which was windowless but it didn’t bother us. Room was really small but big enough for 2. Showers never got hot but we’ve come to find that in Colombia you can’t find hot showers. Breakfast was nice and overall the hotel is clean and tidy. Supermarket one block away and lots of nice restaurants about a 10-15 min walk. Also close to bus stops for public travel
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good if you’re on a budget. Extremely small rooms - Location is good. With this hotel you definitely get what you pay for. My first room was tiny, had no window and felt like a prison cell. Hardly any room to put my luggage. I changed my room the second day. My next room had a window which was nice, but rooms here are REALLY small. The staff is pretty nice at least. This hotel is okay if you’re on a budget
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The good: There’s bars and restaurants in walking distance, which is nice. It’s a budget hotel so I knew what to expect. It opened this year so things are for the most part in moderate shape.
The bad: Upon arrival, we were told that the entire hotel does not have hot water, and would not for the duration of our stay. Apparently there was a fire next door that broke their gas system. We were not told of this beforehand, and I could tell we definitely weren’t the only guests who hadn’t. The manager was extremely insensitive to the situation and the best he would offer was a late check out. What about us not having hot water for several nights? He refused to even entertain any idea of a refund. Bridgette, receiptionist at the front desk and the rest of the staff here, outside of management, do try their best help you but I don’t think management gives them what they need to best do their job.
In conclusion, I'd probably pony up a few extra dollars and consider staying elsewhere.
- Joseph (10/5): - I've stayed here in the past and returned because of the great service by the staff. They allowed me to check in early which was awesome because I was really tired from having a long night.
- John (10/5): - Very pleasant experience. My room was interior and didn't have windows and got very cold at night, so I complained to the front desk and they moved me to a room with a window. Breakfast was very good everyday, there is a dining room on the top floor and they cook your food fresh. I looked forward to the breakfast every day. This is an excellent quality hotel for a low budget and the neighborhood is very good.
- PRATIK (8/5): Nice and friendly hotel - Well if you don’t speak Spanish then this hotel will be difficult as staff does not speak Englis. First I was give room 509 which was without any window in the room so for ventilation you need to keep bathroom door open as bathroom has very small window. Next day I told my difficulty they changed my room with window but facing the street so lot of noise of cars and buses and yes ambulances making crazy noice so if you can sleep with the noise then go ahead as they do not have sound proof windows. Breakfast is limited to egg, croissant, coffee and 2 pcs of sliced fruit. The breakfast lady is good and gives refill for the coffee. House keeping is okay the don’t change towels everyday unless you tell them. Rooms are clean and nice, very close to supermarket across the street as there are many nearby. The transmileno buses are just 350 meters away and the lady staff who comes in the evening speaks a bit of broken English and manager Niko/Nickolas although does not speak English but helps in all possible ways, also brigit speaks broken English but she comes in the afternoon. Room & bathroom is nice and clean, on my last day I noticed that colour of hot water was different it was brownish must be of the rust from the boiler, they need to check rest all good even the staff was great. Will recommend to stay.
- William (2/5): Terrible for Sleeping - Friendly and helpful staff, and great wifi. Unfortunately a terrible hotel to get a good night's rest. Our first night our room faced the main street, which was noisy during the day even with the windows closed. The noise of the vehicles and pedestrians ended at about 2am and then we were able to sleep. The next morning we asked at reception if we could get a room that did not face any street, she told us there was a room available that would not face either street but that it did not have any windows, we told her that was fine. Unfortunately the second room had its own issues, there was a scent machine that would make a loud noise every hour, which woke me up every time, and the bathroom smelled like cigarettes. Although the staff wanted us to enjoy our stay, we give this hotel one star because they failed at the most important thing, providing an environment in which people can get a good night's rest.
- Sportmanpr (8/5): Excellent Location - The is perfectly located near clubs, bars, restaurants ... just walking distance shopping stores. The staff ia very nice. The rooms are clean and renovated! Perfect hotel for the people traveling solo or friends!
- Julian (10/5): A bit small but very cozy and well located. - It was a very good experience to stay at this hotel.
It is well located at the Chapinero neighborhood, one of the more traditional sectors of Bogota.
Breakfast was excellent, not just for the quality of it but because it is served on the top of the building where I could enjoy of a nice view if the city while enjoying my hit cocoa, scramble eggs, and fresh bread.
I really recommend it.
- Hbm (10/5): - Very friendly staff, clean hotel and a great price
- Joseph (10/5): Good Location - The location of the property is what made me book it. It was very easy to get to and there were maybe things open during the day. At night time it was a little empty but I felt safe.
- HJS1994 (2/5): Stolen Passport - Mysteriously my passport and several thousand pesos went "missing" from my room. All they did was tell me to check my suitcase again. No one will check security cameras or investigate it at all. I thought having a private room would be safer than hostels but apparently not. BE CAREFUL AND LOCK YOUR BAGS UP!!!! Also, the wifi is terrible. Also, no hot water.
- FionnFalcao (2/5): Horrible place - Bad service. Viewed 2 rooms. No wifi and tv's weren't working. Awful old looking carpets. Bathrooms looked fine. When I viewed, I hadn't yet checked in. Went back and told reception. They absolutely didn't care. So I left, and never returned!
- rafaels970 (4/5): For one night/connection - It is an old, very simple hotel, that's why it is cheap. My bathroom window was broken, so when I went to take a shower, the bathroom was really cold because of that. The good side, it is cheap and close to the airport. There is little to see around, and the restaurant didn't attract me. I would recommend this hotel only if you really want to save some money.
- flyinthemilk (8/5): better than average in the area - I've enjoyed staying here on a number of occasions. There are pros and cons. The staff is great, the breakfast is pretty good and there's a cool view from the top of the building. Depending on what part of the city you plan on hanging out, it's a pretty good location with a great corner-store next door to it. However, it's on a busy intersection so if you're not used to traffic in a major city, it might be a bit overbearing.
- 475jamie (2/5): Noisy and ill-equipped - The hotel goes by another name- Hotel Suite. It is situated on a noisy intersection with windows that didn't close properly. I had no towels in the room and when I asked for them the bellboy said he couldn't bring me any as he had to stay at the front desk to relieve the receptionist who was busy with an event. Nor could he give me any. Came back late and the night porter was absent upstairs. Had to wait for ages but he did have a towel to give me. Precarious locks on doors. For a hotel that is not bottom range I found it lacking and not like others describe it.
- Brittany_11_10 (8/5): Friendly staff, good price, clean - Stayed one night here and it was good. The staff was friendly and helpful (getting cabs, recommending restaurants, etc), the room was clean, as was the rest of the hotel from what I could see, the rates are low, it's right up the street from an Exito (huge grocery store), and there's a restaurant at the top of the hotel (which offers a decent view of the city). The only negative was that our room was kind of noisy, as it was on the corner so we had traffic from both sides, and the windows don't seem thick enough to block the noise. Oh well. For one night it was totally fine.
- PaulD0negal (8/5): Staff are excellent - Stayed for one month for work. Staff were excellent. Make sure to request the newly renovated rooms, they are very modern and comfortable.
Hotel restaurant was ok, but only seemed to be hotel guests eating there, it is not where the locals eat.
Only issue was with Laundry, once they gave my clothes to another room, also, work shirts were always folded, therefore had to iron them after paying for dry cleaning.
Overall, a great hotel.
- Txoilfieldhand (10/5): Great Location, Outstanding Check-In - So this is my 2nd time to stay here in Bogota. I choose this location because it is walking distance to all of my meetings. I must say the rooms are comfy, the beer is cold, and the service is really good. Its not cheap... But you really get what you pay for. I stay at alot of hotels around the world and I must say this one has the best front desk service, efficient and more than polite and helpful!! I do highly reccomend this if you come to Bogota for Business.
