• Journee (5/5): Alright, but would not rebook. - It was clean and the location was fine. There is not staff on sight to check you in or help. Somethings advertised had to be requested and there was a bit of a long wait.
• Eve (2/5): Dirty, unsafe, uncomfortable - The location was good. Near the centre of town, only took about 5 mins to walk. Safety concerns: The room felt unsafe as I was unable to properly lock the door/windows. There was not a handle on the door so we struggled to pull the door shut as we would leave. While sleeping, the lock on the inside of the door did not work. Bathroom facilities: The shower was not working, and the bathroom window would not close, which made the room feel exposed and uncomfortable. The manager of the property fixed the shower once we called him but the quality of the shower already was low. A tiny shower head that had not been properly cleaned. Awful shower pressure! Room condition: The drawers were broken, and there were only three hangers provided, which is inadequate for a guest stay. Shower gels and wash products provided were half used. The beds were thin cheep frames which made noice every time we moved. Amenities: There were no charger ports available near the beds, which added further inconvenience. This accommodation felt like a poorly furnished student accommodation room. But worse!! I have stayed in better hostels. Would not recommend. The manager offered us discounts to restaurants near by but when we went, they told us that they do not have partnerships with any hotels.
• Laura (1/5): Not professional and disrespectful - Nothing really, very disappointing not worth the money Misleading information; they claimed to have parking, but when we arrived, we paid £15 and found only one spot for 11 rooms. Another couple staying next to us had to block our car, so every time we wanted to leave, we had to ask them to move their car. We had to wait an hour and twenty minutes because they were at the spa when we wanted to leave. Furthermore, they advertised breakfast included, but there was nothing to eat. The dining area was not clean, and there was a clothes drying rack set up in the kitchen with laundry on it. When I contacted them to inquire about breakfast, they said it was self-service, but when I mentioned that there was nothing left, they stopped responding. This experience was very disappointing and frustrating. Additionally, there was no shower gel in the bathroom, and the window didn't close properly.

• Stacey (1/5): - They cancelled the booking a week before we were supposed to arrive. Meaning we had to pay out more to stay elsewhere.Getting a refund was difficult and time consuming. I would not book with oyo again. My friend had the same problems with the hotel in a different area.
• Suzanne (3/5): Don’t stay in room no. 9. It’s the twin room!! - The bedroom was in the attic and it looked like students accommodation! Sorry, that’s probably an insult to students! Bed were cheap wood frames - with splashed paint in them. The mattresses were very uncomfortable & gave me backache. Decor was horrendously cheap! The en-suite shower room was filthy & the electric shower was terrible. Breakfast was a farce - placed in the basement that smelt mouldy & cheap continental breakfast…if you want to call it that! No staff present & tacky post-it notes dotted around the premises. It was NOT CHEAP for 2 nights & I can’t express how disappointed I was with our bedroom! NO. 9 is the room number - be warned! The only decent thing was the outside of the building. Nice Georgian property & close to the Royal Crescent. Also a great bus service into town.

• Pawel (1/5): Reklamacja o zwrot kosztów rezerwacji - Nic obiekt brudny nie można było dodzwonić się do recepcji a w ogóle nie było tam recepcji tylko numer telefonu. Nie działał kod PIN nikt nie odbierał stałem na zewnątrz 2 godziny dzwoniąc cały czas na telefon do obiektu ale nikt nie odbierał i jakimś cudem otworzyły się drzwi także można było poczekać następna godzinę w holu i mniej więcej zobaczyć jak wygląda obiekt. Tragedia brud syf wygląda jakby nikt tam nie sprzątał od miesięcy.

We waited over half an hour in the cold trying to get in but ended up having to drive back home and now they are refusing to refund me as they say this never happened. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. Booking.com take this off your website

We had not received notification of this and had to go to a hotel which cost £175. Kindly refund the difference to me. Thank you. Notice that they were closed for refurbishment.

Attendons toujours le remboursement de notre reservation, l’hôtel nous renvoyant à Booking et booking nous renvoyant à l’hôtel! Inadmissible, sommes extrêmement déçus des deux prestataires.

The atmosphere of the house was a bit off, felt like breaking into sb else's house. But breakfast was embarrassing. Toast, butter and jam. And not enough of it for all the guests staying.

• ANDRE (5/5): trop cher pour sa prestation - L'emplacement de l'hôtel Nous avions demandé de pouvoir faire le check-in plus tôt, moyennant un supplément. A notre arrivée le téléphone à contacter pour obtenir le code d'ouverture de la porte , était constamment occupé , donc injoignable. En frappant à la porte , un nettoyeur nous a ouvert, a également téléphoné, toujours occupé. Nous avons pu, en payant un supplément, occuper une chambre nettoyée. Elle était très froide, fenêtre ouverte. Le nettoyeur a tenté d'enclencher le chauffage en vain. Au téléphone on nous a promis un chauffage d'appoint, qui n'est jamais arrivé. Le confort était minime , ainsi que l'arrangement de la chambre (par ex. la tringle du rideau longeait toute la paroi du mur pour une petite fenêtre). Le petit déjeuner était réduit au minimum et nous devions ranger notre vaisselle ! Personne n'était présent, ni dans la salle du petit déjeuner , ni à la réception où s'entassait un bric à brac de chenis. Le prix , presque 200.-CHF est de loin surfait

• Rachel (6/5): Classic old BnB style building - breakfast inc was great. - Location. And old style “Boarding House” was like staying in a movie set. Shower was broken. We all had to take a bath.

I am still waiting for OYO No.3 to tell me how to enter the building! The message is unread. We had to wait for other guests to exit so we could step into the building to get the correct phone number. Bath, England is not a 3rd World country and yet this accommodation is like something you might excuse in a very budget hotel in a 3rd world country. There was open rubbish littering the front path, the side path and the back parking spot. We also saw a rat. The room was dirty; the linen was stained and there were exposed wires in the bathroom and holes in the wall. It was also a long way into town (certainly not walking distance). Please do not stay here. The pictures are very old and are false. Finally, I was told I would have to pay for parking, but they did not in fact send an invoice.

Bagno con rumoroso aspiratore, porta che si chiude male e accesso alla stanza in corridoio non illuminato. In generale il rapporto qualità prezzo è un pò alto e non soddisfacente anche se alla fine tutte le funzioni sono possibili, previo adattamento. Si gode di una buona vista sulla città, la posizione è ottima per raggiungere il centro a piedi. La proprietà dovrebbe avere maggiore attenzione agli spazi comuni. Accesso semplice il primo giorno. Colazione accettabile, anche se tutto confezionato e si deve scommettere sull’onestà degli altri ospiti. Da migliorare l’assistenza ai clienti ma in ogni caso si ottengono velocemente le risposte necessarie
• Caroline (2/5): Disgusting place to stay - Never been to such a terrible place. Phone number on door to check in. Directed round the back through a very small alley with paint peeling off gate to what I could only describe as a converted flat roof garage. Broken light hanging off wall. Looks completely rundown, rubbish & old carpets, overgrown weeds to welcome us. Two rooms which were dirty and in need of total renovation or better still demolishing Walls marked & dirty, gouges on walls, window blinds broke, one didn’t even pull down to bottom of window as not long enough. Cobwebs and dirty. Knobs missing on drawers. Chipped mugs, out of date milk. Bathroom absolutely appalling, we would not even use the shower. Dirty and full of hair (see photos) Mastic around shower base filthy. The toilet wall (well bit of plasterboard making a bathroom area) could only get one foot in front. When going out in evening saw a couple who were trying to check in and she screamed OMG ! A RAT has just run through next door garden. I am not surprised at all …….. Breakfast - We did not even go, had looked through the window and looked grim. Spoke to 3 other guests (separate bookings) when leaving, they were at least staying in the main house, but from what they said they were not impressed either. I am surprised that they are on the Hotels.com site as I have booked many rooms through you and normally totally satisfied The photos on the site do not reflect the true definition of this run down place. I WOULD STAY CLEAR !

DISGUSTING BATHROOM- hair and backed up bath drain, shower head would not work, and there were used underwear and other disgusting personal items in the drawer. When we contacted the property manager to demand a refund, they tried to make excuses and have not yet provided a refund!

• Lewis (2/5): DIRE. AVOID. - Good location Staff really unhelpful, not at the location, could barely explain how to get into the property, no manners or people skills. Room was barely adequate, half used shampoo bottles, dirty carpet, poorly fitted facilities, mould, plugs that don't drain whatsoever, the "tv" if you can call it that wasn't wired in so unusable, even a pair of dirty underpants left in the drawer!!! Tea and coffee available, if you like it with a side of limescale and dust in your cup. Absolutely terrible, avoid at all costs. WAY overpriced for such dire accommodation.

• Pinder (2/5): Good location, no parking, terrible breakfast - Location was good I booked this room because the advert states private parking available and breakfast included. I tried contacting them 14 times to get details of the parking but never an answer, only an automatic response assuring parking is available when I arrive. When we arrived we couldn't access the property as there is no on site. No parking available at this property. A mobile number on the door to ring to give you access. The property is very run down, access around the back to our room was full of trip hazards. The 'breakfast' consisted of help yourself to a choice of black bananas, toast, cornflakes or 1 of us could have the remaining croissant. That was one we managed to get into the main building, again no one on site.

In front of the door was a very full ashtray, garbage bags piled up outside, street trash in the front, bags of laundry piled up under the stairs, stains on the bedding, dirty walls and upholstery, no information, no wifi. When I contacted the manager regarding the conditions and my request for a refund I was told to shove it up my

Pas facile d'accès. Pour le déjeuner du matin, nous n'avions rien à manger... Le peu de fruits qui restaient, étaient pleins d'insectes, c'était sale. Et nous avions mis une heure d'arrivée qui n'était pas respecté du coup obliger de transporter nos valises lors d'une visite dans un musée avant de revenir pour avoir notre chambre.

We stayed there and toured all day. Location is phenomenal to walk to town. Check-in not the best. Called to let know we’d arrive late. Oyo service desk answers. They tried calling the property multiple times without an answer. Then he says there’s no parking there and it’s self check in which I don’t have any info on how to check in. I’m told to just go and see! Well that’s comforting!! We arrive. There’s a # to call on the door. Well what if you don’t have cell service and only have data??? Rang video doorbell and called the #. Delivery guy came and some guests opened the door and said it took 45 min for them to get a call back. Luckily the owner called back then. He gave me instructions. I went to the twin room which smelled fishy so stayed in the double room which was fine. It was clean, but very small. Bed was comfy but it was hot (August). There was a fan and a very high window. Breakfast was stale muffins and some cereal and yogurt. Luckily there was apple and pear trees in the back. Also there is 2 spaces if you call ahead to reserve which he charges 15 for. Car park is a better deal!

Nadie contestó a mis mensajes ni WhatsApp, todo e intentar ponerme en contacto antes de llegar. Suerte de unos chicos ingleses que estaban en la misma situación que nosotros y contactaron finalmente. Exteriores sucios e interiores también. El agua de la ducha con presión escasa. El desayuno justo y tuvimos que limpiar la mesa después de otros huéspedes para poder desayunar, al ser los últimos en bajar tuvimos que comer lo que quedaba. Nunca llegamos a ver a nadie, todo lleno de mosquitas que daban aspecto de suciedad. Agradecería haber recibido el código para entrar y las instrucciones antes de llegar y no haber perdido tiempo.

Das Zimmer groß wie eine Abstellkammer, die Dusche schimmelt, das Frühstück vollkommen frech dafür Geld zu verlangen, es gab schimmelndes Obst und war voller Fliegen und alles in allem unklar, wann das letzte Mal jemand persönlich vor Ort war. Kontakt gab es nur per Telefon, der war nett.

• Daniela (1/5): Never Again - Just the location No staff on site, had to wait 20 mins for someone to pick up the phone to tell us the code to get in. Tried to contact the property and no answer. Then contacted the company that manages the b&b and told me it would take a while to get back to me and that they could only contact me via email. Still haven’t been contacted but eventually someone answered the phone and gave us the code to get in. In the meantime 2 other families had gathered, waiting to check in but unable to. Bath clearly not cleaned and no watwr pressure to take a shower. Advertised as a b&b with carpark included but it isn’t so had to pay extra for a public car park. Breakfast consisted of fairy cakes, store bought pancakes and pan au chocolate, cornflakes and grapes. Not worth paying £15 per person for breakfast.
• Brenda (2/5): - We arrived and waited over an hour and nobody was there to let us in. We spent over a half hour on hold on phone and never got to speak with them to let us in. We had to book a different hotel and still waiting for refund because we couldn’t check in or stay there. Do not book here!
• Jennifer (4/5): - I was given no entry code, so when we arrived, the sign on the door said to call a phone number which rang to an answering machine. We were standing in the rain for over 10 minutes in desperation when we rang a camera bell and someone finally helped us. We were told we were in room 11, we walked up 3 flights to find the rooms ended at #10. I walked back down to the front to ring the door camera again and was told instead our room was #10. The room was VERY small, no soap or shampoo, the mattress fell though the bed frame from a lose slat and the floor creaked so loudly that the downstairs guest came upstairs to pound on our door at midnight to complain about us walking around!! The room was stuffy and hot and had only 2 overhead windows. The location was convenient, but our room was really disappointing.

• Ågot (4/5): Bra beliggenhet - dårlig mat. Huset trenger oppussing. - 4 ok senger, selv om sengebunnem på den ene sengen var litt ødelagt. Fint med takvinduer. Veldig dårlig trykk i dusjen. Fikk ikke svar ved forespørsel på forhånd ang frokosten, en av oss har Cøliaki og fikk dermed ikke spist frokost. Dårlig frokost, kun brød, smør og syltetøy som eneste pålegg. Ingen personale tilstede. Vanskelig å komme inn i huset, han som jobbet snakket veldig dårlig engelsk.

Cleaner did not spk good English when querying car park and check in time so call the owner who sounded like he'd just woken up and didn't have any customer service skills Overall the room was dated - clean enough but location was good as walkable We booked this as needed a room for 3 people and there was limited availability anywhere else

• Joseph (2/5): Incredibly frustrating and weird "check in", we felt like we were breaking in just to get the key. - The room itself was fine, it served our purposes nicely, it was clean enough and the location was good, close enough (walking distance) to the city center. No complaints about that. The problem with the place is that there was absolutely no staff there! We happened to catch someone coming out of the property (another guest) who gave us the key code to get in the front door. None of the phone numbers provided were in service. This includes phone numbers both on the front door or once we did eventually make it into the building, on the locked and empty "front office" window. The message replies I got to the messages I sent via Booking.com were canned "thank you for contacting us, we'll reply shortly" type messages but no one every followed up. We were not the only ones there looking to check in, there was a couple there also who were trying the phone numbers as well. We accidently noticed that some of the doors to the rooms had keys in them so we found the double room that I had reserved and took the key for that room but we felt like we were breaking in or something. It was the worst experience I have ever had renting a room and I've been to every continent on the planet (including Antarctica). We went into the basement for "breakfast", found no-one and only had bread for toast.

• Karin (4/5): Zentral aber unpersönlich und nicht sehr sauber - Die Lage des Hotels war sehr gut. Man konnte lles zu Fuß erreichen. Das Zimmer war nur oberflächlich geputzt, das Badezimmer in allen Ecken und Rändern sehr dreckig. Die Dusche hatte einen sehr schwachen Wasserstrahl, zum Haarewaschen hätte es nicht gereicht. Es gab nur einen telefonischen Ansprechpartner, der aber immer sofort wieder auflegt hat, wenn man noch etwas fragen wollte. Der Parkplatz war nicht kostenlos, wir hätten für 3 Tage und Nächte insgesamt 72 £ zahlen müssen.

• Daniela (4/5): - La posizione e la struttura da fuori Camera e bagno poco puliti. Il bicchiere di vetro in bagno non era stato lavato, era bianco di dentifricio e nella vasca c'era un campione di shampo aperto da chissa' chi. Non c'erano prodotti per il bagno (a parte quello dimenticato da qualcuno..). La velux della camera e' rotta, si apre solo una fessura e la pressione dell'acqua del doccino non e' sufficiente, e' da tenere a 30 centimetri da terra altrimenti non esce acqua. La colazione servita in un locale con una cucinetta spaventosa (e' richiesto di portare le stoviglie al lavandino ma non e' una buona idea, la gente cosi' vede il degrado del locale..

Except if you have windows open be aware noisy road traffic if room is at front of property. Saw the poor reviews and should have taken them on board. No staff at location when checking in. Unknown person on other end of phone with instructions. Room wasn’t clean, dated decor. TV didn’t work. Breakfast terrible. Asked about parking in advance no one responded to my request so had to find my own parking Charlotte Street £19 for 24 hours.

• Leigha (2/5): Horrible-book elsewhere!! - Poor customer service. No staff on site our entire stay. Was very dirty and run down property. Breakfast was a joke. Once again. No staff. Just notes left. To put dishes on shelf. Good looked very old and we didn’t partake. Room was very hot. I did message the number on door and was promised a fan would be dropped off. It wasn’t. I sweated all night. Very noisy street. Mattress was extremely uncomfortable. You can feel all springs. Would have slept on floor but it was too smelly. Our door didn’t even have a handle to open it. Was very difficult to open with the lock switch. Glad there wasn’t an emergency. DO NOT Recommend at all!!!

• moore (1/5): This is a shit hole that should not be in business. - Nothing. These people should not be in business. There was no staff when we checked in. I later found out that OYO means on your own, which is exactly what you are. Unclear instructions on how to enter the property. No answer when called. They seemed surprised to hear that I had a booking. The toiletries were used, the hairdryer was missing. The breakfast was atrocious and the tables were all dirty and there was almost no food left, no eggs or anything good, only cereal, packaged oatmeal, bread with jelly, no real food besides one single cup of yoghurt left. There was no where to leave luggage for the day that wasn’t in the passage for anyone to steal. So we had to pay for storage that day. The shower head was broken and the water pressure was so weak that it was barely possible to take a shower. I would have gone somewhere else but for the fact that we arrived at 9pm. The only reason we were able to enter at all was due to the help of some Swedish guests who helped me call the number, requiring a plus sign and the country code and then leaving off the 0 in the phone number. I never would have figured that out. Then they didn’t answer the phone. They called me back and told me my room key was in the door. Unheard of. It was horrible and I would have never stayed there if I’d seen the reviews.

• maria jesus (6/5): Difícil comunicación - Cama cómoda, sábanas de buena calidad y muy cerca del centro. Nos permitieron ocupar la habitación antes de la hora estipulada. Muy malas indicaciones para contactar con el anfitrión. Es un establecimiento en el que no hay personal, por lo que la única manera de establecer contacto es llamando a un número de teléfono que hay pegado en un Post en la puerta, pero solo lo cogen si llamas por WhatsApp si llamas por teléfono normal no lo coge. Por supuesto que si no dominas el inglés ni lo intentes. Tampoco nos mandaron con antelación las instrucciones para poder acceder al desayuno. cuando se lograba contactar con el anfitrión entonces a través de WhatsApp sí que te daba todas las indicaciones necesarias. No responden a los mensajes que se les envían vía Booking dicen que no les llegan. Creo que si mejorarán la comunicación con los clientes ganarían mucho

• jim (6/5): - Really great location and pleasant enough room. Very hot day and there was little air flow. The electric fan in the room did not make a difference. Facilities all good, clean and tidy. Was overcharged from original booking and have still not received a refund.

Atención (nula, no hay personal), falta de limpieza (llegamos y no se había limpiado la papelera del baño del anterior huésped), la pobreza del desayuno, que no nos recibiera nadie en el check in ni nos cogiera el teléfono, que se nos cobraran 28£ adicionales en concepto de "cargo por servicio del alojamiento" y que sigo peleando a día de hoy con Booking porque el alojamiento no da respuesta, que para compensar la mala atención me ofreciera desayuno gratis cuando ya lo tenía incluido y que no volviera a contestar.

• Jessica (8/5): For the cost and we really only need a bed for the night it ticked all the boxes. Bath is expensive for hotels etc and t - The location is great, 10/15 min walk back in the main city. The property could probably do with some upgrades, the bathroom was basic and old but all in working order. Bit of a musty smell to the place but overall for a nights stay it was fine. Bed was actually pretty comfortable, pillow flat so would take your own if that’s an option. The check in process is a little hard work, you have to call a number and then are provided the access code. But did have to phone a few numbers and luckily someone called us back. Again the property could just do with some updates and modernising.
