The shower would benefit from a safety hand grip, as the floor is rather slippery.
- Denise (5/5): This is an excellent location if you have modest expectations and have Wi-Fi on your phone. - This property is in a great, seemingly safe, city neighborhood with easy access to taxis, the metro and train station. Although check in was an adventure, the staff were available throughout the process via WhatsApp. All parts of the property were remarkably clean given the condition of the apartment itself. We were grateful to have access to a washing machine. We have simple expectations, but we were surprised to find that the apartment was equivalent to that of a dorm room. The living room furniture and flooring throughout were both well worn and in need of updating. The showerhead needs attending to. We spent most of our time at the apartment on the porch. Some small touches (such as couch cushions) would have added so much to that inviting space. Be forewarned, that all of the final steps for checking in and entrance to the apartment on a daily basis require you to have access to Wi-Fi on your phone. You will be expected to provide passport information, pay an additional security deposit and Tourist Tax electronically, prior to receiving check in information. Be sure to confirm you have been given check in information for the proper address. You will never have direct contact with a person (except by phone via WhatsApp). Although we were provided with hotspot, we were never able to get it to work outside of the apartment. We ended up having to pay a fee on one of our own phones daily to gain access to the apartment.
