Guest Reviews
- Joe_Grimes (9/5): - Great location and facilities
- Yung Chen (7/5): - Very convenient location There is no signal on the TV at all
- Hernandez Guzman (9/5): Small love corner - Small and comfy Tv not working
- Jan (3/5): Could not sleep well at night. Very noisy if someone walk up and down on the top floor as it make big noise in this bott - The property is very centrally located Just some comments on Champagne unit as follows:
On one of the chairs the glue come loose and it is dangerous to sit on the chair as it can fall apart. There is two pans for cooking but they are totally black and not good to cook something in. We could not get the tv to work, not sure if someone did something but we cannot get any channel working on it. Also all the pillows are old and horrible to sleep on.
Thank you
- Meeway (6/5): Budget stay at town centre - Clear check-in instruction. Dog-friendly. Heater on prior to check in. Google TV and good wifi in high country zone were great! Unanswered pre-booking questions on dog surcharge. Unclear signage to room as building name appeared as another name unassociated with the room name on my booking and it was totally dark when we arrive so it is hard to figure out if we were at the right street number, building and which way to head to our room. No signage to indicate which is the right parking. Room size were little small. Tired mattress, heater, fridge, separated hot and cold water taps, kitchenware and unwiped surfaces. Window seams were terribly dirty and unhealthy to live in. No milk given. carpark is not right in front of our room but at front of building. We had to transfer our luggage the patio at the sides to the back where our room was in the dark when we arrive at a near 0 degree temperature. TV screen can be bigger. Dog surcharge should vary as small non-shedding dog make no mess and need not additional cleaning.
- Cameron (7/5): Good - Pet friendly. Great location. Affordable Fridge froze all of our stuff. No channels worked on TV at all. Hot water is just hot enough for shower. Limited spots to hang damp towels and clothes
- Cameron (9/5): Superb -

- Clement (10/5): Great overall! - Great place and comfortable ! Wifi may need more attention as it was often too weak
- Philip (8/5): Very good - Nice comfy room. Well laid out for a studio apartment. Good kitchen with washing machine. Nice and warm Nothing not to like
- Annej (8/5): Very good - Location. local business people we're lovely helpful and so friendly..Peace and quiet (off season though )Scenery Actual unit was hard to find .Took me ages driving around the village .Signage needs to be better
Walk to local falls was a bit treacherous This was not made clear enough.
No seating outside unit
- Barbara (2/5): Dissapointing but may be OK for a one night stay[not for skiiers] - great location.locjk box eaSy to find Heater in kitchen did not work Very cold night in the mountains No ectra blankets provided
No tea or coffee provided or Hair dryer or Kleenex.Suacepan dirty and no detergent to clean them.
Very noisy!! Lack or hanging spave for clothes and no hooks for outgear,
- Terry (7/5): Serves its purpose, nothing special - Easy access , good parking ,neat , comfy (apart from the pillows) There was no cooking oil, no salt and pepper! no breakfast , the pillows are uncomfortable, it needs coat hooks at the entrance
- Michelle (8/5): First world problems overall had a very relaxing - Awesome location. so warm and cozy. relatively clean had to take into account that the weather conditions would impact on the marks on the floor eg. snow footwear. Just right for self catering. Light on tea and instant coffee choice (international dust) supplies with no milk. Parking was confusing and inadequate. You could hear other tenants next door and on the floor above. Basic food staples would have been appreciated however we worked around it. Some of the crockery was chipped. We were slightly concerned that we would run out of TP. And the offer of a hairdryer would have been appreciated.
- Eric (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lee-ann (8/5): Very good -
- Monica (7/5): A Unique Experience of the snowfields in Summer - The village of Dinner Plain was fascinating and the nature ...wildflowers snow gums generally letting nature express. The chalets are so unique interesting and different. I very much enjoyed the easy walking trails too. The room was very well worn and needing attention. The kitchen heater didn't work and it was very noisy when people in other apartments were moving around.
- Mei (9/5): Superb -
- Rodney (5/5): Passable -
- Peter (1/5): Don't stay - Accommodation was dirty, dog hair everywhere, food splatters on wall, mould on the ceiling and everywhere in the bathroom. Worst sound insulation so you are able to hear everything from the upstairs neighbour- every foot step, toilet flush etc.
It’s a studio apartment and the blinds were broken so the light from the accommodation next door shined in all night. 10/10 would not recommend you stay here if you are wanting a relaxing time away. Have voiced my concerns with the company and haven’t heard anything useful in response.
- Evan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jun (6/5): Everything was pleasant other than sleep - due to external light and noise from neighbours above. - Location was great. Near multiple food places and close to town center and town entrance. The sound proofing from the unit above is extremely poor. Footsteps on floorboards were very audible, so we could hear the upstairs neighbour's movements clearly - the worst was when they did a late 2AM check-in on Saturday early morning which woke us and kept us up until they settled down. There were also no blinds at the kitchen area - it being a studio layout, we could not block out all the light during sleeping hours. We came to snowboard at Hotham, and a good rest was the top requirement of our stay - this was poorly met due to the reasons above.
