Guest Reviews
- Anthony (9/5): - Breakfast was delicious. Location was perfect.
- Alexander (10/5): -
- Kaitlyn (9/5): Always a great stay at Casablanca! - Breakfast is always great, amenities are awesome and staff is attentive. Could have receive more bath towels. We only got 2 and most women use two for just themselves for hair and body.
- Jenna (10/5): Excellent. - The breakfast was beyond incredible each morning. My husband and I could not stop talking about how wonderful the room smelled each time we walked in. We took a ride around the Cape in the provided bikes which was lovely. Would 10/10 stay here again!
- Lisa (9/5): - The Breakfast choices were great! How high the bed was.
- John (10/5): - Great staff, Ilona was the best!
- Laura (10/5): - Would recommend to friends
- Tamara (10/5): Romance by the sea - Everything was perfect. It is a beautiful, romantic place. Close enough to Everything. All within walking distance. The food was great, the place is very inviting. A lovely time was had. Nothing
- Thompson (9/5): Casablanca is the perfect BnB with Modern Comforts - Casablanca was such a perfect getaway spot while we were visiting Cape May. We’ve been coming down for years and this was one of the best spots we’ve stayed at. The staff was so attentive, the accommodations were superb, and the location to the beach, shopping and restaurants was perfect. Only minor thing, we stayed at the third floor and it does get hotter up there. The AC unit in our room was so helpful but it was still a bit warm, it took a while to cool down.
- Graybill (9/5): - Delicious, healthy breakfasts every day. Super friendly and helpful staff that went over and above to make your stay pleasant. Scrumptious homemade baked goods for afternoon tea every day, as well. Very comfortable beds and very clean rooms. We loved the proximity to the beach and the downtown shops. We especially loved sitting on the porch, in the evenings, and listening to the music, from the hotel across the street and playing cards with friends. I wish they had more space to put your things in the single floor cottage. There should be shelves on both sides of the bed or a table on both sides. We had to put everything on the floor.
- Ryan (10/5): - Beautiful place to stay, perfect location, one block to the beach and short walk to shops/restaurants. The staff were wonderful, the breakfast and afternoon tea/dessert were all excellent. I would highly recommend and hope to come back again.
- Valeri (10/5): - Proximity to activities was perfectly in the middle of downtown and beach. Wait staff was above and beyond expectations! King Suit was spacious and comfortable. The food was on a gourmet level and I enjoyed every meal. I will be coming back again due to the exceptional service and amenities.

- Valerie (10/5): Our stay was a lovely way to spend our anniversary. - Breakfast was super! Every meal was beyond good. Nothing
- Stephanie (9/5): Great location and breakfast. - It's a great location! Wonderful breakfast. The community spaces are very comfortable. Staff was MIA in the afternoon and we didn't know how to get a parking pass since we weren't given one when we checked in. We found street parking, but it might be good to give passes upon check in just in case.
- Joshua (10/5): Highly recommend to anyone. - The cake.
- David (10/5): - Food was excellent! Room was very clean and adorn very well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Property had a new world charm but was still an old school bed and breakfast

- Trevor (9/5): Casablanca is a great B&B with a central location to the beach, restaurants and shops. - Breakfast was delicious, convenient, and timely. The room and bed was very comfortable. The amenities were awesome to have. Easy access to bikes and beach chairs/towels was great and we didn’t have to worry about bringing our own. More towels in the room would have been better but other than that it was great.
- bella (10/5): - Great location and wonderful staff.
- Kyle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cheryl (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast was excellent. The location was central to everything we wanted to see and do. The BnB was gorgeous and well decorated. The free brandy was excellent. I enjoyed the tea and treats in the afternoon. I wish you had a desk/table in the room. Also there was not a lot of tabletop space in the bathroom- for toiletries. Also I need more space for my clothes. I wound up having to move some decorations around to make needed room. I wish you had parking.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bradford (4/5): The pleasant helpful staff made our stay enjoyable even though it rained every day of our stay. - Breakfast food was excellent. One of the aspects of the bnb's that we have stayed in was enjoying conversation at the breakfast table. At Casablanca the table settings were all at tables for two which discouraged interaction with the other guests. There as only one chair in our room. We asked for another, but there weren't any available. There was a very small counter in the bathroom and that was decorated with a plant that we moved so we could use facial accessories (one at a time). Shower water controls were not near the showerhead. There was only one towel bar in the bathroom for the two of us. The towel bar held two face cloths, two hand towels and two bath towels. There was no place to hang up a wet washcloth (we used the door handles for the closets; we also hung towels over the glass divider). We didn't swim, but wet swimsuits would have been a big problem, The air conditioner did an awesome job of keeping our third-floor room cool, but it blew directly on me in bed.
- Melinda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carolyn (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast was excellent
- Valerie (8/5): Very good -
- Nizzette (7/5): Had forgotten how perfect Cape May was. Will be back again! - Location great, breakfast was really nice. Staff needs to be seasoned a bit, but did their best. They were very nice, but the language barrier at times was tough, hard to get our point across at times. in need of some sort of floating shelf in the bedroom area to be able to set up makeup, no room in the bathroom at all. Area to small to get ready for the day or night. Some hooks to hang up wet towels or a robe in the bathroom BR. Need to be able to set a book, glasses, keys, that sort of area. Floating shelf would be nice. Front porch seating area is uncomfortable. We had great weather every day, would really not have had a place to be comfortable on the porch, with a book if it had rained. We had 2 pregnant women and they found the outside seating area hard, uncomfortable , and the some of the cushions dirty. Needs to be made more inviting . Found an old blood stain on the inside cover of my pillow and a stain on the bed linen. Throw them away, it’s a major issue when that was seen. Ruined my good feelings for the location. With a few tweaks it will would be considered near perfect.
- Becky (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pasquale (8/5): Very good -
- Elayna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephanie (10/5): Just heavenly. - Everything was beautifully designed and was physically and mentally soothing. Nothing really.
- charles (10/5): - We had a great stay. Good amenities . Super clean , anytime we needed anything the staff was right on it. Great location. They have added a modern twist to the bnb experience
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Location was great room and staff outstanding. Street parking which can be hard to find
- Anonymous (9/5): Great place will definitely return next year. - I love the atmosphere and the cordial staff. N/A
- Ann (10/5): Exceptional - Location, staff, the food. Our room was beautiful & comfortable We liked everything
- Rizzi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (10/5): Wonderful getaway. Second time visiting Casablanca. Will be back again. - Location
Food
Staff
Room Loved EVERYTHING
- Christina (7/5): Good - Great location Had after hours checkin and never actually saw any staff/manager for our entire stay. We felt it was expensive and a bit impersonal. Breakfast was served by a lovely woman, as was tea, but we never felt like it was a managed hotel in the sense that many other places we've stayed have been for the price we paid. It was a just a very impersonal experience.
- Linda (10/5): Close and walking distance to beaches, museums, playhouse, shopping and great restaurants. - Feels new and clean. Wonderful breakfasts. Staff was amazing! Loved everything!
- Gary (8/5): will do it again - Location is excellent
Breakfast was better than expected
availability of bikes / beach chairs room smelled musty / mold smell was evident
A/C was not working when we arrived
no desk / table or chair to sit at
- Susan (10/5): It was a relaxing and romantic stay thanks to the Casablanca & its staff. - The Casablanca has a friendly staff, clean and well-appointed rooms and is within walking distance to all the main attractions in Cape May. We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts, the available bicycles and the relaxing times spent on the front porch. We had some difficulty working the air conditioner panel and noticed that you need to run the water for a bit of time before it gets hot.
- Marion (5/5): It would have been a totally different experience without staying on the first floor. - Everything was fine except our first floor guest room and semi flat bike tires. The first floor guest room is NOT an option.
Very poor location- noisy, not private.
- Kirk (10/5): - The room was amazing, bed was extremely comfortable, and easy to be and sleep in. The staff, young lady named Camila, was awesome. Very attentive and a great cook for breakfast. They also setup snacks and drinks in the afternoon around 2.
- Nancy (10/5): relaxing and great - friendly helpful staff, very clean, beds were extremely comfortable and the food was delicious
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast was delicious. Kamala was our inn keeper when we were there. She was extremely helpful and polite. Prepared home cooked delicious breakfasts for our stay. Even gave us a tour of the property so we could see other rooms for a future stay.
- Patricia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Giles (8/5): Very good -
- Pamela (9/5): Very pleasant - The breakfast was great. The bed was comfortable. Stylish place! The room has a little musty smell. We were on the first floor which was loud in the am.
- Jackie (10/5): peaceful and relaxing, the porch is fantastic!! - clean na
- Gabriella (10/5): The best place to stay if you want comfort and class and to experience the heart of cape may - OH MY GOODNESS. Everything ! Seriously, couldn’t have been a more perfect location, the bikes included were amazing, the community of the guests was even great. I couldn’t rate this place higher! Our room was adorable and the breakfast was also delicious! Just come here, you won’t regret it The bikes had to be back by 7pm, just wish we could have kept them longer!!! And maybe there should be a doorbell on the staff room if there is staff needed. We had to knock and sometime they couldn’t hear us.
- Carol (8/5): Very good - Many employees were friendly and helpful. The room was nice, beautiful bed, but I would not rate this a five star hotel. It's a little rough around the edges. In a nice location, great breakfasts, met several returning guests who love the place. I found it frustrating in the bathroom to have so little room to put toiletries down. We were looking forward to a relaxing soak in the elegant bathtub, but it was too hard to use without any shelving whatsoever for soap or anything. I highly recommend that future guests pack their toiletries in one of those hanging pouch bags. Also, they are very supportive of people with food allergies which was very much appreciated.
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Location and friendliness of staff. Very easy to manage Towel hooks for shower towels would help conserve towels
- Susan (9/5): very pleasant, but expensive - lovely establishment. Rooms nicely appointed . Staff very f No comfortable chair to relax in, in either of the rooms I had
- Michael C (10/5): - Lovely B&B only downside is limited parking on street and pooling water in outside shower floor
- Crystal (7/5): Good -
- Amanda (10/5): - Property is immaculate, updated and beautiful! Staff was very friendly. Love that they offered a comfy experience, close to all restaurants and shops and a good overall experience!! Fully recommend staying here!
- Helen (8/5): - Liked the convenient location. Very pleasant staff.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved everything about this boutique B&B. It was an excellent stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The interior of the Casablanca was decorated with a modern / traditional style and they nailed it!! So quaint, romantic and comfortable inside and out with a lovely style. The other guest we spoke to during our stay were so in love with their choice as well. You will not be disappointed. The rooms, the food, the staff, the bicycles and the short distance to beach and shops were a perfect distance for a walk. We give 5 stars with NO hesitations
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was clean and people were very respectful there.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lobby was cozy and clean. Breakfasts were fresh and tasty. Staff was attentive. Common areas were stocked.
- Janet (8/5): - The property was beautiful and the staff was super friendly. Our room was very nice and the bed was really comfortable. However, the room was a bit small. We had no where to really put our stuff especially in the bathroom. I would of liked a counter top to store my toiletries. It was okay for a two night stay.
- Donna (8/5): - First floor room needs more sound proofing! Place was clean, food great, service wonderful! Highly recommend
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This property is absolutely beautiful!!!!! the food is delicious and it is the cleanest bed-and-breakfast I have ever stayed in!!!! The customer service is absolutely impeccable !!!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Conveniently located to beach, shopping and restaurants. No parking, had to park 5 blocks away when checking in. Sea grape room too small (177 square feet) for our needs, basically for sleeping only. Same with the bathroom no counter or storage space and the only mirror in the room was over the sink. Storage was lacking in the room also. Breakfast was good with a couple of options. No usb charging station in the room had to borrow the innkeepers. Porch and common area was nice for sitting and socializing however music was intermittent and the lightning was too bright in the evening and at night.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great vibe. Feels like you arrived to somewhere in Miami.
- DJ (10/5): - I can’t overstate how much we enjoyed our stay at the Casablanca Bed n Breakfast in Cape May. The decor is upscale modern sheikh with minimalist Victorian accents that makes the Casablanca name so fitting. The beds and baths are a real treat with sumptuous bedding and rain showers. The staff are super attentive but also blend into the background when not needed. The breakfast and afternoon treats are gourmet quality. If the W Hotel and Ritz Carlton did BnB’s it would be something similar to Casablanca.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I loved this house! It is absolutely exactly the same in reality as pictured on the site. Every single spot your eyes could look was meticulously cared for and maintained. The late check in we had was a non-issue. Came in about 7:45 pm, had no problem getting in and communication was open and flowing. The room, white ginger was gorgeous & and breakfast served by Jean was perfect as was her service. Abdolutely loved it and will return perhaps in the summer.
- Jeff (10/5): - Great choice for a quiet getaway for our 20th wedding anniversary. Facility, staff, and food were excellent.
