Hij staat altijd voor je klaar en helpt bij alles waar je hulp bij nodig hebt. We zijn hem ontzettend dankbaar. De eigenaar is een Nederlands-Marokkaanse man genaamd Hafid en is erg vriendelijk. Hij heeft een reisbureau en kan helpen bij het regelen van je ideale vakantie. Hij bood ons als gezin van 3 een grotere kamer aan zodat we wat meer ruimte en comfort hebben. Dat hebben we erg gewaardeerd! Bij ontvangst krijg je thee en koekjes. Perfecte eerste indruk van de Marokkaanse cultuur en gastvrijheid. In de badkamer liggen shampoos en douchegels klaar. De kamer wordt elke dag schoongemaakt. Er zijn luiken voor de ramen, waardoor je de kamer volledig donker kunt maken. Erg fijn! Airco werkt perfect. Een must als je er bent tijdens de warme dagen. Msemmen en baghrir zitten elke dag bij het ontbijt en vooral van de msemmen kregen we geen genoeg! Heerlijk zeg. Koffie en muntthee kregen we ook elke dag. Sinaasappelsap ook, die is super lekker, ontzettend zoet. Vooral veel van drinken in Marokko! Eitjes voor de nodige proteïne kregen we ook elke dag. Eén van de beste ontbijten die ik heb gehad als fervent reiziger. Ligging is wat ver van de bezienswaardigheden. Voordeel is dat je lange straten vol winkeltjes afloopt om bij de riad te komen. Omgeving is voor m’n gevoel een achterstandswijk, maar we hebben van niemand last gehad. Trap naar het dakterras vond ik wat eng met een klein kind, maar het is prima gegaan. Als ouder moet je toch altijd opletten voor je kind.

• Samuel (1/5): Disappointing stay with several comfort and service issues - The staff were cordial and friendly though it was not enough to make up for severe deficits in the property. We recently stayed at Riad Aicha Marrakech and unfortunately our experience fell well below expectations. First, the room layout lacked basic privacy—there was no door separating the bathroom from the sleeping area. This meant you could hear absolutely everything, which made the stay uncomfortable. The shower was also inconsistent: water temperature fluctuated between cold and very hot, with only brief moments of warm water. It made using the shower frustrating. Housekeeping was another issue. One morning, staff asked if we wanted the room cleaned and said they would refresh the sheets and leave more water. We agreed and handed over the key. However, when we returned later that day, nothing had been done—no cleaning, no fresh sheets, no water. The air conditioning/heating unit did not work. We reported this within the first hour of arrival due to a musty smell in the room, hoping to air it out. There was no response until our last day, when we were simply told a space heater could be provided. In terms of atmosphere, the riad lacked any sense of calm or serenity. From early morning until around 7pm, there was constant noise—people talking and moving around—so it never felt peaceful. The location was also a downside. It is about a 30–35 minute walk from the Medina and situated in a very underdeveloped area. While we were not personally bothered, it did not feel like a comfortable or desirable part of Marrakech. Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations, and unfortunately we would not return.
• Yvonne (10/5): Wunderschönes Riad in Top Lage - Wahnsinnig freundlicher Gastgeber,wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und auch während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes war er stets sehr bemüht. Sehr leckeres Frühstück,das man auch auf der schönen Dachterasse genießen kann. Die Zimmer waren sehr groß und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt!

La terraza genial para relax, tomar el sol, desayunar o echar un cigarrito. Está a 20 minutos andando de la Plaza, un paseo muy agradable empapándote del auténtico Marrakesh. Una vez sabes el camino es muy fácil. El precio de las riads en todo Marruecos ha subido mucho en los últimos años, y este no iba a ser una excepción.

• Damiano (10/5): - Abbiamo soggiornato due notti presso il Riad Aicha e la nostra esperienza è stata ottima dall’inizio alla fine. Prima di tutto per la gentilezza del proprietario, che ci ha accolti con grande cortesia (a partire dal tè alla menta al nostro arrivo) ed è stato estremamente disponibile nel venire incontro alle nostre esigenze. La struttura è molto bella e suggestiva, oltre che estremamente pulita, sia nelle aree comuni sia nella nostra camera (nel nostro caso la camera familiare), che era anche molto ampia e confortevole. Molto piacevole anche la terrazza sul tetto, con vista sulla città e sedie e sdraio per rilassarsi. La colazione tipica è buonissima e abbondante. L'unico aspetto da tenere in considerazione riguarda la posizione: anche se il riad è situato all’interno della Medina, si trova a una certa distanza dai principali punti turistici (ad esempio, per raggiungere la piazza Jemaa el Fna occorrono circa 20 minuti a piedi). In compenso, essendo vicino alla cinta delle mura, i taxi riescono ad arrivare molto vicino alla struttura.

We had a lot of problems on our travel regarding hotels and flying tickets, and finding this Riad was a relief in the middle of this chaos. Once you enter this Riad, you find peace, we felt like home. We were received with the traditional moroccan tea and pastries, and every single time our host made sure if we were okay or needed anything. There were nights that they provided us tea and that was lovely. Every day that we went out we could leave our key so they could clean the room. The breakfast is DELICIOUS! Once you wake up, you go to the rooftop and they serve you there, with a rich selection of pancakes, msmen and a lot of complements. Our host was incredible and kind and we are extremely grateful for all the attention. We hope to come back again soon. Thank you very much!

The area is like a labyrinth, a large square You have difficulty finding your way even when going and coming. People and motorcycles have great difficulty in very narrow streets. This problem is not the hotel's problem but the region's problem.

• Daniele (10/5): Exceptional - The riad is very clean and confortable with a nice terrace where to relax in the evening after exploring the city. The location is good, in a quiet area but just 15 minutes walking from the main attractions of the medina. Also there is a parking place 5 minutes away for just 30 Dirham per night. Abdullah is very nice and helpful. He came to pick us up from the parking and he is always ready yo help for anything you may need.

• Monica (10/5): - Located inside the walls of the city (medina), in its oldest part, it’s perfectly placed for its proximity to Jemaa El-Fnaa. Loek is the perfect host: accommodating, patient and wonderfully chatty and knowledgeable about the city; appropriately supported by lovely staff. Breakfast, always served in the terrace, was the ideal start to the day. Loek would mingle with guests and we met several interesting people. Evenings, in the peaceful terrace, were the perfect wind down after the buzz of exploring the city. We had a fantastic time at Riad Aicha.
• Sanjeev (2/5): - After enduring a 10-hour car ride, we were excited to check in, shower, and go to bed. However, our enthusiasm quickly dissipated upon entering. The entire establishment felt worn-out and outdated, lacking the charm and sophistication we had anticipated. Despite booking the family room, which boasted four beds, we were dismayed to discover that the bathroom and toilet were without doors. This lack of privacy and hygiene standards left us feeling cramped and uncomfortable, questioning the adequacy of the accommodation. Despite our exhaustion and the absence of alternative lodging options or access to Wi-Fi for booking, we made the difficult decision to leave. The riad, managed by only one elderly gentleman, gave off more of a hostel vibe than the upscale riad experience we had hoped for. We share our experience not to dwell on the negative, but to caution future guests. Everyone deserves a comfortable and pleasant stay, and unfortunately, this riad did not meet those expectations. We sincerely advise others to explore alternative accommodations in Marrakesh.
• Katrin (10/5): - Eine Süsse, bunte, gemütliche Unterkunft, in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. In 5 Minuten ist man mitten im Geschehen, wir haben alles zu Fuss erreichen können, ansonsten in der Nähe am Babaylen Taxi oder Tuc Tuc Möglichkeit. Gutes Frühstück, Luk der Chef hilft bei allen Anliegen schnell und unkompliziert. Sehr familiäre Atmosphäre. Alles in allem eine schöne Unterkunft in der Medina. Transfer zum und vom Airport wird von Unterkunft angeboten, ausserdem Ausflüge,, und Tipps für Unternehmungen. Vielen Dank für alles, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.
• Nicolas (10/5): - Luc est un hôte charmant qui accueille avec tact et sincérité. Nous y sommes allés en famille et c'était une excellente première fois
• Hania (6/5): - We stayed at Riad Aicha for a few nights. The room was great, very clean and a very comfortable bed. Sadly lacking a kettle which as tea addicts we now realise is non negotiable for us, but no big deal. The location was within walking distance to the main square and markets. Slightly disappointed that the advertised pool is empty and isn't available all year round. Breakfast was basic and you sat with the owner and his guest - which is okay just different/unexpected maybe. On the last day we felt a little like we were being asked to leave early after breakfast so they could clean. We then bumped into the owner whilst waiting for a taxi. He said oh you are still waiting, we said yes and that we were being followed by the local kids who relentlessly ask you for money and felt uncomfortable, he said goodbye then and wandered off. Mixed bag review.
• Richard James (10/5): - This is an absolutely beautiful riad owned and run by a lovely Dutch guy. It’s a little way out of the centre of the medina but that makes the area more authentic and less touristy. The locals were poor but so friendly. This was a wonderful base from which to explore the madness of Marrakesh but also a place to return to and relax in peace and comfort.
• Vladimir (10/5): Top Riad, top location, top staff! - It was really nice Riad in the old part of the city. Most of the things were in the walking distance. The owner was really nice and helpfull with a lot of valuable tips we did not know before. I would really recommend Riad Aicha!

Siamo arrivati di sera tardi e non abbiamo trovato le cena pronta come era stato concordato col proprietario del riad. Siamo stati accompagnati a prendere del cibo in strada quando avremmo preferito cenare con calma in riad dopo il viaggio... Buona la colazione e la cena della sera successiva.
